Y'all are gonna finally see Lina's side nature! 😩

My head kept pounding, it was getting harder and harder to hold in the pain from Link. He's going to see though my pain and worry

"Hey!" Tatl sat on my head "what's with you? You're pale" Link looked at me and frowned

"Lina, what's wrong?" I gave him a smile

"I don't know... But it's nothing, don't worry"

"I'm going to worry! Come on, tell me. Have you been sleeping alright? Were you worried about me for a long time because I don't come see you?" I smiled down at him

"Well... You did worry me, but that's not the reason why my head is killing me" I looked down "before I left Hyrule, I had to take Jasmine back" he flinched

"What?! Really?" I nodded "I'm so sorry..." I shook my head

"It's okay..." I held my heart "she's one with me..."

"You have your complete power... Is that why...?" I nodded again and walked the clock tower we were in

"I'm pretty sure, but I don't even know why though. Let's focus on getting out this clock tower" Link looked around before noticing a Happymask salesman

"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" The man giggled. Tatl hid behind me

"Hey! You're... Uh... Who are you again?" Link asked. I face palmed. Oh Link...

"I own the Happy mask shop" Link snapped his fingers

"Like in the market?" Link asked me. I sighed. What am I suppose to say? I'm not even sure if this guy is even the same guy... Where did this guy even come from?

"I travel far and wide in search of masks... During my travels, a very important mask was stolen from me by a imp in the woods. So here I am at a lost, and now I've found you" I huffed

"Found... As in you were following us?" I asked, acting like I didn't know already. It wasn't noticeable that he was following us but I knew from reasons

"You're smart... Hear me out, I know of a way to return you to your former self" Link gasped, but I lift my arm out to stop him

"We do not need your help" the man was taken back. What else is new? "you just want that precious mask back. Though I know you can return Link back to normal, I can as well. you allowed this dangerous mask to get in the hands of someone who's now possessed by it, right?" Tatl stared at me

"W-what do you mean? Though I much know about the young man you have behind you, I do not know a thing about you dear" he put on a act like he wasn't shock

"Majora's mask... Am I right?" He kept that smile on his face, but started to sweat "I'm sure you're going to say something like... You're a busy fellow and you have to leave in three days?" My eyes widened in the way no one likes seeing "if you cared so much about the mask then you should had taken care of it!" I took out my scythe and pointed it at him "I already know what our journey will consist of! I will not return the mask to you!" The man fell on his butt, staring at how close the scythe was to his face

"Lina! Stop!" Link shouted, taking my skirt from the side. I dropped my scythe, watching it disappear into the light. I stood straight and huffed at the terrified man. Taking Link's hand, I walked to the exit

"No! Please!" The man begged on his knees "you must help me!" I gave him one last glance before approaching the outside world as the door opened. We were finally in the middle of south clock town. My heart was pounding again. I fell on my knees, out of breath

"Lina!" Link held me in his small arms. Taking Link's hand, I made a run for it. Link was shouting to know what was going on. I knew he was very confuse to find himself in a place like... A town he never heard of. aside from that, I knew he wanted answers from me most

"Don't talk!" I could heard dogs chasing after us. I turned a sharp corner and fell in the dark shadow ally formed from the buildings next to us. I coughed. turning my head to the side, I noticed a door. I looked through my hair, to find a bobbie pin, but all I had was my special pin holding up my hair in a high bun.

"I don't have time for this..." I used my hands to form a light and threw it on the lock, snapping it and open it. I threw Link and Tatl in before running in and shut the door closed

"Lina, what just happened?" I kept my back on the door to keep the dogs away. After what felt like forever, they left. I sighed in relief and looked at Link staring at me. I took out the Din's fire, Farore's wind, and Nayru's love to float around the room to make light.

It was a very small room, but it had a access to another floor to another little visible room with bookshelves filled with books. I gasped at how similar it is to the home to my own! Just smaller

Ignoring Link's questions and Tatl's rambling, I walked around, talking my time to look around. There was a small fireplace that can only fit a small pot. There was a small empty table, and... The frames from home were here. To my shock, I ran upstairs to see my books here!

"Link!" I gasped "look! Look!" Link jumped up the steps and looked around where I was looking

"Are these your books?" I took one out, knowing this book of the golden goddess is mine

"They are but... Why are they here?" Link and I stared at each other.

"Hey, I don't know you two all that much, or at all, but what are we going to do? This blue haired girl didn't let that salesman turn Link back to normal after he asked for a favor!"

"Well yes, he wanted the mask your little friend has, but he's not going to get it and we don't need him to help us" I jumped off the second floor safely and lifted my arms to have my three lights circle around me. Taking my special ocarina out, I looked up at Link staring at me from the second floor

"Come here" I put the mouth piece towards my lips. he nodded and jumped off. As he did, I started playing the song of healing. my light surrounded him, shining the room until his boots handed gently on the ground. He had his body back and the Deku mask fell on the floor. He stared at his human hands surprised before smiling at me, but when I released all that light, my body suddenly went heavy and fell on its own, making me drop to the hard floor

"Hey!" Link hurried to help me. I was out of breath again... "Lina! Did you use too much power?" I weakly smiled at him

"I'm fine... Link, my body's been becoming a bit frail, I need to rest now. Skull kid is going to be up to something bad and I need you to do something here... In this town called clock town" he nodded, carrying me up to the small bed upstairs. Tatl peaked over at me, curiously to see what just happened to me

"Anything, what do I have to do?"

"Go around the town, and find a map... Once you do, find the laundry room, where you will find a stray fairy... And" I tried remembering "take it to the fairy fountain. Find the observatory after playing hide and seek with some kids, and obtain the moon tear for me after looking up at the strange moon" I amaze myself how I remember a game I only watched through once

"Stray fairy, hide and seek, moon tear? What's all this, Lina?" I lifted my hand to bring up the Deku mask

"That song I played... It is a melody that heals evil magic and troubled spirits, turning them into mask. This will assist you, wear this... It belonged to a spirit that had already passed. With this mask, you will gain the ability to turn back into a Deku scrub and back again whenever you like... This is going to be important... Mask in this world, will be important for our new journey" his eyes widened

"Another journey..?" I nodded, taking his free hand that wasn't holding the mask

"I don't expect this to take so long... My body must rest. Once I've rested, I will look for you if you haven't returned. Before the 3 days are up, we must be together in order to keep something... Horrible from happening. I will give you 3 days to complete these task. Do not fail me" he nodded, confident

"I got it... I'll come back to check on you" I smiled and looked back at the ceiling, feeling Link put the mask back on and run out the door with Tatl, who looked at me again before following him.

Why do I feel so much heavier than I ever had before..? Sighing, I looked around the room, noticing only a few of my mask on the wall... The bunny hood, the mask of truth, the skull mask, the Keaton mask, and the spooky mask. All the mask that have no use in this world.

There seems to be a mask missing for some odd reason... There was a hook underneath one of the mask. Staring dead at the empty spot, my heart started pounding against my chest. I cringe at the feeling and curled in a ball in pain

"Goddess... Help me..." I cried. She didn't answer like I hoped she would. I shook my head and hugged myself like chains. I was in so much pain I didn't even know how to fix it.

My teary eyes saw images of fierce deity holding out his arms from a view as I was looking down at him like he was carrying me in the air. He gave the happiness smile I never thought the person could make...

I leaned on the edge of the bed and hoped to throw up, but I knew it wasn't my stomach. My body just felt like it became tighter and wants to break apart

"Link..." I cried. Trying really hard to ease the pain, I laid on my back, staring at the ceiling. It took everything for me to use at least a drop of my magic to help me fall asleep

"Lina, I'm back" I opened my eyes after my nap, feeling a bit better and looked up at Link coming back with a bag in his hands and his Deku mask on the side of his head

"Link..." I smiled, slowly sitting up "you're back already?" He put the bag on the bed and sat on the edge

"Yeah. I was out for a few hours... It was getting late. I got the great fairy back together by finding that stray fairy you were talking about! She gave me some magic to the mask I had on. She gave me the power to shoot bubbles from my mouth. Weird huh? Oh, Did you know I can jump on water? Temporary though... And here I thought I got to be like you!" We laughed together. Tatl was still iffy about all this "here, I got you this" I took out some muffins and some milk... My favorite

"Thanks!" This might make me feel better

"How are you feeling?"

"A little better, but I still need rest" he nodded

"I'll continue the errands you want me to do tomorrow in the morning. This town is really big, bigger than the market back home. Say... Do you know what this place is?" I took my time to chew my food

"The land of Termina is known to be a parallel world of Hyrule. There's going to be people here that looks like the people we knew, but aren't really them. This is a land where they worship the goddess of time, they don't know anything of the Triforce or anything of the white goddess or golden goddesses" Link nodded, listening to every word to sink into his head

"Awesome... And one more important thing. About the moon..." I nodded

"We can worry about it on the third day, so take care of what you have to do and hopefully I'll have the energy to join you tomorrow" Link nodded happily and rested his head on my shoulder. I looked at him surprised before smiling. I peaked at Tatl leaning against the end of the bed. Well... She's going to stay with us from now on, might as well become friends. Though... I really am still worried about Navi

"Tatl" I said

"How do you even know my name? Who are you?" She looked cautious "you're really creepy, but you look so calm right now. How do I know I can trust you? You just appeared out of nowhere earlier in the woods, spying on Link here" Link looked at me

"Well..." I didn't think she would call me out like that 

"Lina knows everything. She can tell you whatever you ask and she'll answer correctly!" Link said proudly

"Link... That's not how it works" I only know things the games and books offer to me. He honestly thinks I know everything? He should know better. I don't even know where Navi is "I know much of what people don't know, but I do not know everything... Listen Tatl... This is a bit weird, but it's a good thing you got stuck with us, that way you can see what's happening to Skullkid"

"What's happening?" She asked. I nodded, cupping my hands on my lap

"He wears the Majora's mask... A tale about the certain mask he stole. It is an accursed item from legend that is said to have been used by an ancient tribe in its hexing rituals. It is said that an evil and wicked power is bestowed upon the one who wears that mask" I looked at the ceiling, feeling my heart overflowing with information "according to legend... The troubles Majora's mask caused were so great, the ancient ones, fearing such catastrophe, sealed the mask in shadow forever, preventing its misuse. But now, the legend about it became so old, everyone forgot it's story, thus making people unaware of its power. That happy salesman dares to find such a dangerous mask... He even dares to have us help him?" I glared at my lap before calming down and look at the two listening "I'm not going to give it back to him"

"You said the mask was dangerous and causes catastrophes, why would someone like you want it?" Tatl asked. I looked at her like she was insane

"Want it? I want to destroy it if that's what you mean" I sighed and stood up, ignoring Link trying to get me to sit back down "I don't know much about myself, but ever since coming here... I feel strange and I now know much more. I have my complete power and here, I'm going to finally know who I am. Anything that happens here... I will guide Link to do it all, because well" I hid my hands behind me with a smile, looking at him "he is the hero of time!"

"But Lina, what's being the hero of time got to do with anything? I mean... It's not like anyone remembers about what I did for Hyrule. It never happened" I smiled, sitting back down and pet his head

"I'm so sorry Link... Time is truly cruel... This land is in danger, and it's only right to help it. Will you help me..?" He stared at me before nodding and take my hands

"I'll do anything for you, Lina... You are my beginning. I swear to you my life will forever be yours" I blushed and looked down. It's embarrassing when he says things like that

"You two... Act like you're adults" Tatl comment. Link and I turned away from each other

"Well... We were once adults before" Link said

"In a different timeline..." We looked at each other before nodding "let's get your ocarina back and find Epona, someone we think we know is keeping her safe" he blinked confused before nodding. Tatl sighed and spun around in circles

"You two are confusing... But what can I do? Say" she flew to my face "how's my brother?"

"Huh? Oh, he's fine for now"

"For now?"

"When we find the skull kid, Teal is going to tell us some useful things before Skullkid gets mad and hits him"

"Hits him!? How hard?!"

"Hard enough to forget the friendship you created" her face looked devastated before flying to the bookshelf to cry. I walked over to peak at her "Tatl..?" Her back was faced towards me

"He's my little brother... I'm suppose to protect him and Skullkid... Someone we became friends with, someone who kept us warm in the rain, did something like that?"

"He didn't do that yet, but even so... It was the mask. Don't worry, we'll get to them soon. You have Link and I to help you" she wiped her tears away and frowned at me

"Really?" I offered my hand so she can get on. Link stood next to me

"You have our word" Link smiled "you remind us of a fairy friend we use to know" he looked down. Tatl stared at our sad faces before looking down

"Thank you... I'll be sure to be helpful"
