We made it to the end of the ice cavern. I wore Link's green tunic while he wore the Goron tunic for warmth. This tunic is so thick and warm... I can see why he likes wearing it so much.

As we walked, I jumped when a white wolf came out of nowhere and attacked. Link moved me out the way to fight it. Sensing someone staring at us, I looked up to see Sheik watching us from a high block of ice when Link easily killed the wolf

"Sheik..." I frowned. Link looked up and gasped surprised to see her, or him. What I'm more surprised at is that she just knows where we're at even if the temples we decide to come to is completely randomized

"We meet again, Link... Blue maiden" she jumped off to face us "if you came here to meet the Zoras, you wasted your time... This is all there is..." She looked at me, like she knew I already knew of that fact "with one exception, the zoras are now sealed under this thick ice sheet"

"What about princess Ruto? Did you save her from under the ice?" I asked. Sheik stared at me

"No... She wasn't around when this happened, but... She left to head for the water temple" I sighed in relief. She took my advice and didn't get trapped... Sheik spoke about the ice and its source. In order to make the ice melt, the source of the curse must be killed

"If you have courage enough to confront the danger and save the zoras, be my guest. This blue maiden here may already know how to get around the temple and even know the monster's weak spot" I glanced away

"Blue maiden... I feel that I must say these words to you. It was told to me in a dream" I looked at her confused before she held her heart "Time passes, people move... like a river's flow, it never ends" I frowned. Holding my aching heart. Why did it hurt..? "A childish mind will turn to noble ambition... young love will become deep affection... the clear water's surface reflects growth... I do not know why I must tell you this, but it may be something to reflect on yourself. Do you know of these words...?" I didn't speak. I heard those words before in the game, but hearing this message... It shot me like a bullet. I don't know why this is effecting me when it shouldn't. Right?

"Wise words..." I manage to say... "Thank you for telling me these. I hope one day you will tell me more" she nodded before looking at Link

"Link... I'll see you again. Be careful" she backed away. Link flinched and ran after her, but she used a Deku nut to disappear.

"Why does he keep leaving like that? He seems like he's helping us, but he just leaves" I looked at Link looking back at me "hey... Do you know who he is?" I walked forward, still trying to see if I can find that stupid blue fire! Where is it!? It should be around!

"It's not my story to tell" he sighed and followed me to the exit. Through out walking and searching for the blue fire we're going to need to defrost King Zora, I feel that calling again

Rushing forward, I stopped when hearing the calling from the inside of this ice block. It was too white to see if anything was inside. It shouldn't be so hard to melt it... "Link? Do you still have Din's fire I asked you to hold for me?" Link nodded and lifted his hand above his head. Pulling me closer to him from the waist, making my heart feel like it just burst. Link made a red light come from the palm of his hand and throw it on the floor below us. A ring of Fire burst from around us and grew, firing the ice around us and melted the ice block. The fire soon disappeared right after

A Zora came from inside the block of ice. Not just any Zora... "Scotty!" I left Link's hold to help Scotty off the floor, passed out. I panically  slapped his face "Scotty! Answer me!" He was so cold. I don't know if he's dead... No, it can't be "only way to find out..." I gently placed him down and played my lullaby. He groaned in his sleep before opening his eyes. He gave out a smile when I gasped

"Cool it, blue maiden... I'm not dead yet" I sobbed tears of joy before giving him a big hug

"Oh my goddesses! You're okay!" His heat was returning back to him quickly. I squeeze his head, hopefully more heat can come back. I don't know if Zoras can get their body heat back by a simple hug or squeeze, so I kept the hug going for a long while before feeling anger of someone I know staring at us

I looked up, seeing Link glaring angrily at Scotty with his hint of aqua shining in his blue eyes. Oh yeah... He's angry

"Link?" Don't tell me he's jealous. Link grabbed my hand to pull me away from Scotty and hold me close in his arms. My face heated up fast before looking back at Scotty's blushing face, smirking at Link's anger

"Don't touch her! She's mine!" Link said. I flinched at his words. I'm his..? Scotty chuckled and stood up, holding his hip

"You don't even have your confidence back. How do you know if you're worthy of someone like the blue maiden?" Link looked taken back

"Scotty!" I glared. He chuckled and looked at his surroundings

"Sorry, but it's true. You'll get your confidence back pretty soon... But you have to deal about what happened here first" I nodded, sighing

"What happened here..?"

"A monster caused this... The princess was here before everything happened. I was with her and saved her from getting hit, causing me to get trapped in this ice for I don't even know..."

"You were with Ruto? Are you still engaged with her?" He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck

"Me? No... I told you and her that I have my own destiny, and I can't marry anyone" I stared at him worried

"You knew I was going to be away for 7 years... If you weren't going to marry her, how did you know when to come back?" Link looked at me confused before shaking his head. Like he said, there's no point in asking what I'm talking about, about knowing about the 7 year gap

"I never left" Scotty started walking us around. Hopefully to find that stupid blue fire

"What? But aren't you a prince?" He stopped walking and looked back at me, giving a soft smile

"...You don't know how we work... Don't you?" How they work? He faced me to bow for me "I thought Volvagia would make it make more sense, or Shauna... Well, I'll tell you while we look for the blue flame" he began walking again "as you know, 6 of us took the honor of being pieces of your missing magic. From the day we were born, we knew who we were destined to be and who were lived for. Nayru's love, a power you hold is a power that makes it possible for everyone to love you. The 6 of us looked forward to the day when we see you again. It's all we think about in our sleep"

"But I don't get how you can think about me when I wasn't born yet and the others are older than me"

"That's false... We are all the same age. Some of us just age faster, like Shauna and Jasmine"

"And my mother?" He stopped walking to look at me

"We were all born at the same time... We are all the same age. Your magic left you before you were born, causing the light of magic to be born as a adult and marry a human. You were never from Yvonne's body" I froze "none of us had real parents, because we are made of light from your body. That's why Shauna was 'abandoned' in Hyrule field and Volvagia was born from pure lava... Yvonne held onto your baby body. You were born at the same place unlike us others who live somewhere around Hyrule. That father of yours... Wasn't really yours, but he raised you like he was" I grabbed Link's arm to keep balance "I didn't want to tell you this in place of Yvonne, she should have been the one to tell you this, but..." He closed his eyes

"We were born when your body showed back here on Hyrule as a baby... Yvonne carried your body through the fields and made it to Kakariko, where she got aid from your father and married him. I'm sorry you had to hear all this... But it's the truth. I may be a prince, but I came from a Zora race far away from Hyrule. I was called a miracle when the queen of the zoras found me in the water when she was out swimming. I became her son and crowned Prince. I am not a real Prince... And growing up, I knew I didn't belong... I was destined to be with my blue maiden. I said yes about a arranged marriage here in Hyrule because I knew you were here. Zoras have a way to communicate with other zoras through the water" he said randomly "And you were here... I was the happiest Zora in the world" he smiled "but of course I knew the fate of this land. All of us did. Because you knew. We are a part of your body... And that's all we are, a part of your power. We are not real, but you gave us the opportunity to have a life here, but what's a life without that missing piece of us? You" I stared at him with wide eyes, shocked beyond what I thought possible. I wasn't born from my mother? But just appeared in Hyrule field with her..? What am I..? I never wanted to know myself more now than ever "Lina... I'm sorry" I held in my sobs before bursting into tears

"Lina..." Link frowned. I want to know who I am! Why don't I know this yet!? I have all these people waiting for me and can't wait to risk their lives to be one with me again! I had a mother that wasn't really my mother but was just a part of my power... She nor my father was mine. I lived a lie... I knew I did before but now?! What is my fate?! What is this destiny I have to take?!

"Lina! Lina!" I could hear Link's voice calling me, but I was in a panic attack at the moment. He brought me to his arms and hugged me tightly. I sobbed into his shoulders, feeling how much I was shaking, and it wasn't because it was cold

Link carried me all the way to where Scotty lead us to the blue flame. He took one of my bottles from my bag and scooped some up before looking at me with a frown. I was still in shock, but I calmed down a little. He didn't want to say a word and walked us to the exit. Once we were in front of Zora's fountain. I left Link's arms and jumped to stand on top of the water, like I enjoyed doing when we got here

I sighed and looked back at Link and Scotty frowning at me. I turned away, not wanting them to look at me. Scotty jumped into the water

"Lina... I never meant to hurt you. I just thought you deserve the truth"

"What truth I want is to know who I am... What am I..? Scotty?" He looked down disappointed

"I'm sorry... But that's not my story to tell"

"Who's going to tell me then?" Link jumped into the water at the same time Scotty left swimming

"You" I heard him say. Me? Will I find out on my own or something..? I looked down at Link frowning up at me with Navi flying over to wipe away my tears. I smiled at her

"Come on..." I held up the bottle of blue fire "let's rescue King Zora!" Link nodded with a smile and followed me back to the king's throne room. Scotty and Link went off to stand on the platform to face him. I opened the bottle to defrost King Zora.

The red ice melted almost instantly. King Zora shivered from the cold before watching me jump back to stand between the guys

"Oh! I've come back to life!" He exclaimed. He looked down at all four of us "was it you four who saved me? Oh! Prince Scotty! A boy with a fairy and... Blue hair?" I played with my hair nervously "don't be so nervous! I was told by my daughter to give this to a young man with a fairy... It will help you breath under water. I will give this to you as an expression of my gratitude and of course, because my daughter requested me to do so" he handed us a blue tunic. Link went to the king's side to receive it

"Put it on!" I clapped. As he did, he looked back at me to see how I think about it "you look amazing! You look great in blue!" I always have him wear it when I'm playing the game. Can I say? It's my favorite color

Scotty huffed when I said that. When he huffed, Link smirked at him. The both of them were having a glare off... What's going on..?  I sighed and turned to walk away to take out my Ocarina of light

"Hey! Wait up!" Navi shouted. I stopped and looked at the boys coming back to me

"We better go to the water temple. Scotty, stay by the king's side and try to help the zoras. Link and I will go to Lake Hylia and go to the Water Temple" Scotty made a uncomfortable face "what's wrong?"

"Sorry... But I think it's time for me to go" Huh? "There's no way I can help the zoras in this state. I'll go on my own, but I promise we'll see each other soon" my eyes were widening

"Where are you doing?"

"Don't worry. Link" Link huffed as Scotty took off his boots and throw them in front of Link. "You're going to need those" I noticed the iron underneath the boots

"The iron boots?" he winked before storming off  "Wait!" He was already gone. Don't tell me he's going to try to find something to make us meet up in the sacred realm... Oh dear. I took a deep breath before looking at Link "let's go..." I played the Serenade of Water to warp us to Lake Hylia.

On arrival, I could already feel the aura of a missing piece "there's one here..." I looked around like a squirrel

"Lina?" I looked at Link frowning at me "do you want to talk about it?" I looked confused

"About what?"

"About..." Oh... I shook my head and looked at the drained out lake

"It's okay... I might not know who I am or what I am, and it's probably going to take me some time to figure out what's going on. But until then..." I smiled back at him "as long as you're with me, I know everything's going to be fine" he smiled, taking my hand. The rain showering over our heads didn't even feel like it was there when we stared into each other's eyes "Link... I hope we can be together for a long while longer..." He nodded, holding me by the waist. Our face was only inches away

"We will soon make Hyrule peaceful again. I know with you, anything is possible..." He lifted my chin. I hope he can't hear how loud my heart was beating "I won't let anything happen to you... That's why I want you to stay out here while I go into the water temple" my eyes widened

"What?"

"You can't swim" oh... "I'll be okay... I can get around on my own"

"But the water temple is very difficult" he smiled

"I'll be fine..." He hugged me "wait for me here... Okay?" I sighed, nodding. I can't just say no to him... I can't swim. I know I can stand on water but I can't help him underwater. He should be okay...

"Alright..." I gave him his items he needed "please be careful. The temple should be that way..." He nodded, then looked behind me. I turned around to see his piece... Wearing a lab coat with glasses in front of his glowing dark blue eyes. His eyes held a emotion like he was worried

"My opposite is near..." He said. I looked confused

"Your opposite..?"

"Hatred... Darkness..." He flinched and rushed to grab me. Before he could, someone's cold arms grabbed me from behind. Their laugh was low and sinister. I looked down at their arms wearing black clothing. Black clothing...

"You've made it this far..." The cold voice behind me laughed. I shakily looked up to see the glowing blood red eyes of...

"Dark Link..?" He smirked at me, squeezing me painfully in his arms

"Lina!" Link and his piece shouted. Dark Link pointed his sword at the two

"If you want her back... Come find me" darkness started surrounding us. I gasped and reached out to Link, but Dark wouldn't let me

"Link!" I cried. Link ran after me, but was too late... I was taken into the darkness I didn't expect myself to be in. Dark... I feel his aura as well... He's a part of Link's heart as well. I can't have him get close to Link... What's going to happen..?
