As the time passed while the Queen ,guards and the high ranked soldiers waited they all became more worried about the missing girls.
            Just as Valyria was about to send out a search party the girls burst through the doors laughing at something, when they looked towards the council they frowned the knelt to the Queen in silence.
          Valyria wanted to scream at them, for worrying her but she took a breath and composed herself. " Do you two have anything to say for making us wait? No, worry about you?" She inquired as calmly as she could manage, but she knew that what she said came out a bit shaky.
        Lei was the first one to speak up, "I am sorry my Queen, I was scouting around our borders to check if any of the Ebon had come too close. I took a bit longer than I thought I would have, I didn't know that Avacyn had come looking for me. My dearest apologies for making you worry." She bowed her head in sorrow.
        "What did you find?"Queen Valyria asked, " and please stand, you're forgiven, just do your best to not do that again."
        "I noticed a few more camps around our keeps, they're getting closer to us." Lei replied as she rose to her feet glancing around, she winced when she looked over to Jae', she knew she was more in trouble with him for her absence than Queen Valyria.
         Jae' was leaning against a wall with his arms crossed with a raised brow and pursed lips.
         "Is that all?" The Queen asked.
         " One of our bridges was down," Avacyn pipped up, jumping to her feet. "We had to cross it though.."
         "And how did you manage to cross it?" A woman with black hair and emerald green eyes, she also had beautiful brown skin, questioned Avacyn.
        Avacyn glanced towards her and bit her lip nervously then looked at Lei who also looked nervous.
       "Come on, tell us?" Jae' spoke up, narrowing his dark eyes at the two in question.
       "We jumped the horse." Lei replied, everyone in the meeting hall turned their heads towards them in shock.
        "You what!?" Pynk shouted her voice echoing through the hall. " Are you crazy?"
         "We're fine, I timed it correctly." Lei said, scratching the back of her head nervously.
         "Well I am glad that you're okay," The Queen finally said with a sigh, "Everyone take a seat, we have some things to talk about as well as to organize. We will deal with you and Avacyn after the meeting but we've waited long enough,"
       Everyone took a seat and  the meeting started.

      After the meeting everyone filed out the door except for Lei,Avacyn,Pynk, Jae' and Queen Valyria. They all stayed seated, Valyria was the first to speak.
       "This has not been the first time you have made us wait and worry about you Lei," She calmly said, " and Avacyn, I know you were trying to help by looking for her, but this has got to stop."
        There was a pause as they were waiting for her to make a decision on what to do, she was out of ideas with this issue it had happened so many times the best that the blue eyed Queen could think of was having someone watch Lei and possibly Avacyn because they normally got in the most trouble together.
       "Jae' I know you have other duties but you are going to be relieved from them for a week, I want you to keep an eye on Lei. And Pynk you keep an eye on Avacyn, you too are relieved from duties for the rest of the week until I can figure out a better solution." She told them and then rose to her feet and walked out rubbing her head, she was tired and it was already nightfall.   

        Queen Valyria hated that the Ebon pact had gotten closer to them,but the idea of losing her best soldiers pained her. She shook her head and headed towards her bedroom quarters. Maybe some sleep will help her mind be refreshed, but she knew she would most likely lay in bed thinking about all the problems and perhaps solutions to them.

       When the Queen left their presence, Jae' and Pynk both glared at the girls.
       "So," Pynk started, sipping at her water as she thought about what she could say about the situation. It wasn't that bad, all she had to do was watch over Avacyn for the week and keep her out of trouble. It couldn't be that difficult could it? She was uncertain about that.
       "Is the horse alright?" Jae' asked the two, they both nodded, "Good, but that was reckless."
       "Listen at least we showed up okay?" Lei pointed out to him, " So no harm done."
        "That's Besides the point, you had everyone worried about you." Jae' dropped his voice, letting her know that he was slowly losing his patience with her.
        "We're sorry, we are not children, all of you shouldn't worry THAT much about us," Lei replied, sitting back in her chair with a defiant look.
       "Well, you damn well act like one." Pynk deadpanned, her frustration mostly pointed towards Lei.
      "Well fuck it," Lei got to her feet and made her way out the doors with the three others yelling after her to stay. She ignored them and walked out letting the doors slam behind her, she made her way towards the stables. Lei has had enough, she knew that they cared but she couldn't stand being told what to do anymore. She was leaving and that was that no more questioning.
