She narrowed her eyes as she pulled back her bow, training it onto her target. The back of the man's armor had the head of a dragon, it was black with red eyes. When the man paused a moment she let the arrow fly, it whistled through the air and embedded itself into his neck.
The man fell dead.
"So!" A voice came behind Lei, she jumped almost dropping her bow. She looked up at a woman with dark hazel eyes that had fire in them and deep red hair. Lei rolled her eyes and picked up her bow.
She sighed, " Why?" She asked the woman as she jumped down from a rock that she was kneeling on, she walked up to the corpse and yanked out her arrow. She twirled it around then put it back in the quiver that was secured to her back.
"Well I saw you, I didn't know what you were doing, but I wanted to say hi," The woman said, looking as innocent as she could manage.
Lei shook her head with a smile, "Avacyn be glad I didn't have my swords out."
"Why? I can block." Avacyn crossed her two swords and smiled at Lei.
"Now what's the real reason you came to find me?"
"Queen Valyria has requested a meeting."
" Ah, now?" Lei asked.
"Kinda now." Avacyn shrugged, and jumped onto her horse that had been grazing on the grass while the white horse was waiting for her master.
"Shit. This is the seventh time you guys had to try to find me, she's going to kill me." Lei worriedly secured her bow to her bag then started to sprint towards the Vaelyrean Kingdom.

"Where are they?" Valyria asked her guards, they all turned together and shrugged. She frowned and started to worry about Lei and Avacyn. She ran her fingers through her moonlight colored hair. It was soft and beautiful, and matched her beautiful crystal blue eyes.
Valyria walked around the table in the meeting room, she was always a bit worried when her queens-women didn't come back quick enough or if she had to send out another to go find one of them.
"Queen?" Jea' spoke up, " Do you want me to go out and scout for them?"
"No, no, that's okay I'm sure they will be back soon." She took a sip of the wine that was in the cup she had been rubbing with anxiety.
"Are you sure? I'll be fast." He insisted.
"I said no." She snapped at him, " I'm sorry I didn't mean to be harsh."
"I forgive you, I am worried too." The man with brown eyes so dark you could probably consider them to be obsidian, and always messy brown hair, tapped his fingers at his side and tilted his head to the side with a sigh.
"I know you are, why did you allow Lei to run off again?" The queen questioned him with narrowed eyes.
"Do you expect me to watch her like a hawk or something?" Jea' laughed and shook his head, "I was busy training some of the newer guards. When she went out. And Avacyn? Well she has a mind of her own, no one controls that one."
"I didn't even send her out to find Lei." Valyria took a seat and looked at the doors waiting for the girls to return.

Lei came to a sharp stop when she realised the bridge was broken to their way home, she looked up to Avacyn who shrugged her shoulders.
"Looks like we're going to have to find another way around or we could jump my horse," Avacyn's eyes sparkled at that idea.
"You're insane!" Lei crossed her arms, she looked across the bridge. But maybe Avacyn's idea wasn't all that bad, they would have to time the jump perfectly. Or else the jump would lead to their deaths. "Fuck it lets try it, but I'm controlling the horse scoot back."
"But..but."
"Nope." Lei smirked at her friend, "Come on, we have to have perfect timing. I've already calculated the distance and how much speed we would have to have before making the jump."
Avacyn pouted for a moment but made room for Lei to jump up onto the horse and gave her the reins.
"Alright pray to the gods that we make this." Lei smiled in excitement.
"And you said I was the crazy one." Avacyn rolled her eyes, but held her around the waist and closed her eyes tightly praying that they would make the jump.
Lei turned the horse around, she counted down as they faced the bridge. She clicked her tongue, the horse trotted at first then started to Gallop.... Running full speed at the dead end....
