Solar Note: The following has details about the Seven Hill Knights of Gaiden of Darkness. For info on their adult selves, view their respective house branches. There's some minor spoilers for Gaiden below. All artwork was commission from VGM Art. For now, I'm only including details on Osamu, Takeshi, and Miyuki. Will add the others as soon as their artwork is done.

Osamu Raimundo Leo Kuroriku- Crown Prince of Kuroriku. He's the younger twin to Azami. Unlike his outgoing older brother, he tends to be rather reserved. He doesn't have many people he would consider to be friends apart from Miyuki and maybe Takeshi. He and Sofia don't get along well for some reason. Used to look up after his brother as a little kid and sort of still does. In addition to being a knight, his side jobs include modeling and police work.

Age: 17 Birthday: July 30th Zodiac: Lion Nicknames: Bug Eyes (by Eiko), Young Lion of Kuroriku (by members of the army), Lion Prince (by his people), Osa (by Azami and his parents)

Favorite Food(s): Strawberries dipped in warm chocolate fudge, venison steak (rare) with a light mushroom sauce

Takeshi Lavanda Kuroriku- The main character of Gaiden of Darkness and Knight of Aventine. He is pretty cowardly, but there are times where he pulls through despite of it. Though, some of his unusual food choices might leave people doubting his cowardliness. He's the most neophyte among the seven, having succeeded a boy called Alabaster. Takeshi possesses the strange ability to transform into a black cat.

Miyuki Kita Yukari Kuroyuki no San- The Knight of Quirinalis and heiress to the Grand Dukedom of Kuroyuki no San. While Takeshi might be the newest addition to the Order of the Seven Hills, Miyuki's the youngest. Like Osamu, she's pretty reserved. Loud noises bother her greatly. Her closest friends are the crown prince himself and Eiko (latter sometimes gets on her nerves when she fangirls over the former). She's engaged (via arranged marriage) to Sebastian whom she isn't very fond of.

Age: 16 Birthday: January 6th Zodiac: Goat Nicknames: Miyu (by Eiko and Osamu), Lady of Snow (by her people), Ice Princess (by Sebastian) Favorite Food(s): Lobster stew, vanilla cone with sprinkles on top.

Eiko Helena Kuroichi- The knight of and heiress to the Grand Dukedom of Kuroichi. She's in love with Osamu, but unfortunately for her, she's engaged to Eiji whom she detests. While Miyuki and Eiji can be somewhat elitist, neither of them have anything on her. She deems her as a demi-goddess, in part as she does descend from divinity. She's admired far and wide for her beauty.

Her family is among the top five richest families in all of Zionia. They made their wealth using the vast mineral riches found in Kuroichi as well being indrustrists. Her family is behind the production of the weapons used in the multiple wars Kuroriku has waged over the centuries. Some might even call them a family of unscrupulous merchants and war profiteers.

Age: 17 Birthday: November 2nd Zodiac: Scorpion Nicknames: Eik, Lena (by Miyuki), Scary Woman (Eiji), Rude Lady (Shi)

Favorite Foods: Roasted Garlic Chicken, golden cupcake (made of chocolate and edible gold), seared scallops with truffles (mushroom), chocolate truffles with a gooey hazelnut core.

Eiji Hondo Bakari Hasani Raiyama-Atem- The knight and heir of the Grand Dukedom of Raiyama, one of the two major powers in western Kuroriku which covers the mostly barren stretch of land in the center of the continent. He's engaged with Eiko whom he has a love-hate relationship with. He loves to fight so much that his ideal death would be to die in the battlefield. Osamu regards him as one of the strongest knights in Kuroriku, if not the strongest.

It appears he had some kind of connection to the previous wielder of Aventine, Alabaster, of whom Takeshi occasionally reminds him of.

When not in battle nor training, he can be rather jocular (not that he isn't one to banter with his opponents) and laidback. Much to the surprise of others, he has a love for plants. He's always in search of new plants for his garden. This is because a lush green area isn't a common sight throughout his territory outside of great Inel river which carries water to the north from the mountains in the far south. Few can enter the garden without his permission. Among those are Alabaster and Fenyang.

He's very blunt to the point of being perceived as rude. His younger sister, Fenyang, is one of the few people who have seen his kinder side. While his mother is still the Grand Duchess, she's given her son a great deal of power as she prepares for the transition. His mom and dad are usually exploring the world, leaving him and his sister to take care of everything.

Despite being carefree, he's a surprisingly good administrator of his lands, overseeing the distribution of its waters are distributed in a way that would benefit the most people. Even while at war, he makes sure to check everything is going well.

Eiji has a sweet tooth, especially for things containing honey such as baklava. He also has a thing for cheese, beans, and organs (such as tripe).

Age: 17 Birthday: May 30th Zodiac: Twins Nicknames: Ei (by his sister), Ji (by Alabaster), Annoying Guy (by Osamu and Eiko).

Favorite Food(s): White Cheese (Domiaty), Pita Bread, Ful, tripe, Offal, foie gras, basbousa, baklava, anmitsu, daifuku, dates

Sebastian Peña- A young man from Kuroyuki no San. The oldest in of the Seven Hill Knights in terms of both age and seniority. He comes from what's referred to as a fallen noble family, a house with a title but that has lost its wealth. The family name went further down the toilet when his father committed suicide due to all of the debt the clan had piled up. Or, at least that's the official story. Sebastian has his doubts about his father suiciding. He might've been a bit a deadbeat, but the man wasn't one to give up on life.

Unlike his younger sister, Sebastian has no real desire to revive his house name. All he wants is for his little sister and mother to live joyful lives. To that end, he works tirelessly, day and night. When he isn't busy at making weapons, he's sometimes out in the city, acting as a street performer. That isn't to say that he doesn't know how to rest. In fact, to most he tends to come off as laid back.

He's sometimes referred to as a peasant as his mother is a lowborn woman of Kasai no Ki descent. Well, that and his casual manner of speaking compared to the others around him.

Bastian tends to like talking to old people, perhaps because he'd been around them a lot, having interacted with the predecessors of his fellow knights. Like an old person, he's rather wise, being able to see things his less experience knights can't.

He excels in physical strength. One should avoid getting too close to his hammer, or else it's assuredly a game over.

Age: 19 Birthday: December 21st Zodiac: Goat Nicknames: Seb (mom), Bastian (sister), Bastion, Peasant (Eiko and Eiji), Hobo (other nobles) Hobbies: Fishing, Reading manga, checking out weapons

Sofía Peña- A young woman from Kuroyuki no San. She was sent to live in the capital following the death of her father. She used to be a cheerful girl, but following her father's death, she shut herself off to others. In public, she appears daintily and polite, but in reality, she has a sharp tongue. Prince Osamu's usually the one on the other side of it. For some reason, she has a deep dislike of him.

Two person she still shows her warmer side to are her brother and Takeshi. She appears to reciprocate Shi's feelings, but due to being engaged to different people, their love is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

As the owner of Caelio, she's a fearsome knight, able to drain the life energy of others if she's feeling merciless.

Age: 17 Birthday: December 24th Zodiac: Goat Nicknames: Sofi, Sof Hobbies: Reading, knitting, shopping

Favorite Foods: Chicken soup (especially he mother's), Beef Ramen, soft serve ice cream, hot chocolate

Anis Estelle Kuroriku- A girl born with a rare illness that renders her unable to do much. She spent most of her childhood in a sickbed. Whenever she wanted to go somewhere, she had to use a wheelchair.

Despite her ill health, she is a girl with a lot of perseverance. She inspires those who watch her to continue fighting. Her cousin, Osamu, thinks she simply doesn't know her limits.

She is fuyoshi, shipping boys with boys, both in fiction and real life.

While engaged with Takeshi, she cheers him on in his love with Sofia. Just wanting him to be happy.
