The Kasai no Ki Clan, one of the Four major powers in Zionia, rules a majority of the east of the continent it inhabits. The nation and clan though are often looked on as the weakest as well as the most tragic, having faced heavy losses in both terms of territory, treasure, and blood.

Tulia's father- Uncle of King Tabiki and the late Prince Hideyoshi. Grandfather of Takeshi and co.

Hina Kasai no Ki-

The oldest daughter of King Tabiki. The mother of Hime and grandmother of Ximena. Older sister of Eien. She froze herself in ice as a child just like her brother Shin'en had done. She was discovered and freed from the ice by her cousins once removed (children of her father's uncle).

Shin'en Zettai Kasai no Ki- A Yuki-otoko ('Snow man'), one of the rare few males born to a clan of Yuki-onna. He is also part kitsune. He is unable to use both fire and wood angelic power, which is one of the reasons for him not inheriting the Kasai no Ki throne. Another is that he the kingdom was destroyed during his youth, ravaged by the Kuroriku in the west and by the communist rebels in the northeast and east. Though he is also the one who orchestrated the reconquest of Kasai no Ki while residing in another universe altogether...

He had an older sister who vanished during the start of the hundred-year civil war whom he is trying to locate. He has two sons called Boukyaku and Eien.

Maki Zettai Kasai no Ki- Shin'en's brother. The third child of the royal family and the crown prince. He is talented but lazy. Most people underestimate him due to his aloofness, much to their own detriment.

He found Akane unconscious on the ground while on a walk in the forest. He brought her back and had the royal doctors nurse her back to health.

He's one of the Seven Flames Knights, wielding the mighty Xiuhtecuhtli.

Kei Zettai Kasai no Ki- The least known out of his siblings (not counting his missing sister). Not that it bothers him as he would rather avoid attention. He is a capable warrior in his own right. He wields a special scythe that doubles as a wand and an angel tool. His scythe is made out of Seraphium and black obsidian. He can use wind magic and wood angelic powers.

Koukyuu Zettai Kasai no Ki- Shin'en's little sister and the second daughter of the Kasai no Ki royal family. She often carries herself in a high manner. She can use both fire and ice but both her powers don't balance well with one another, leading to cooler flames and softer, warmer ice.

She has a crush on a certain young man from the universe of Xeleria where she attends school.

Akane Kasai no Ki- A non-royal member of the Kasai no Ki clan, belonging to the clan's second branch. Maki found her one day in the forest after she had fleed from a labor camp in the communist-controlled part of Kasai no Ki. In her hands was a sun-shaped necklace which she had gotten from a young boy who lived in the camp. The necklace turned out to be one of the lost crown jewels of the royal family. How the boy she had received it from got it in the first place is unknown as said young man couldn't be found. She believes he likely died from the harshness of the labor camp along with his friend. But she is still looking, at the very least in order to give him a proper burial.

She currently works as a researcher for the royal family. She's the girlfriend (and fiancée) of Prince Maki.

Kamil Kasai no Ki- The cousin of King Tabiki and the younger brother of Tulia, Tetsuya's grandmother. Father of Hime and grandfather of Ximena, Mikhail, Natalia, and Heiji. He is a doc of both people and animals. Cared for his nephews and nieces when they were little.

Hime Kasai no Ki- First-cousin of Takeshi and his siblings. She's the mother of Ximena, Mikhail, Natalia, and Heiji. Her husband is a priest and a nekomata.

Ximena Kasai no Ki- Daughter of a Kasai no Kian immigrant and of an escaped slave turned priest. She's the childhood friend of Tetsuya who often refers to her as 'Xime'. She's in love with Serrano, though it pains her as she knows that he is to marry another. She owns the necklace of Renata, Angel of Wood, and who happened to be the rival of Valencia/Tierra, the Angel of Earth. She wishes to avoid repeating said feud with Setsuko, owner of Valencia's necklace.

She tends to be calm and down to earth. She's often the one keeping the boys (Serra and Tetsu) in check.

Mikhail Kasai no Ki- Ximena's younger brother. He can come off as cold, but he's actually pretty nice. He secretly wishes to be a professional singer but hesitates to tell his parents, seeing how they knew someone whose life was ruined by the industry.

Sex: Male Age: 18 Birthday: July 4th

Natalia Kasai no Ki- Ximena's younger and only sister. She's an athletic girl that looks up to her sister's friends, Serrano and Tetsuya for their athletic feats. That said, she wishes to break their records and those of others one day. Her mom tells her to focus on one thing, but she doesn't wish to be pigeonholed.

Age: 12 Birthday: September 16th

Heiji Kasai no Ki- Ximena's little brother. He is very helpful around the house and is always attentive to the needs of others. He also has a tendency of speaking what's on his mind when prompted to. Sometimes, that habit of his gets him into trouble. However, he doesn't really care as he believes being honest is better than sparing one's feelings with lies.

+ See the Kuroriku Family (Second Branch minus Anis)- Tetsu and Serrano's grandma was a Kasai no Ki from the noble family (via her father's side). In fact, they would've bore the Kasai no Ki name if not for their great-grandmother deciding to pass on her name to their grandmother (meanwhile her brother would continue to bear the Kasai no Ki name (Ximena is his granddaughter)).
