Chapter 5: And the Winner is...
{NOT EDITED}
Time went on, and so did Amon's threats. Yet somehow I was more worried about what I did to Mako for him to be such a mafia movie.
I became in charge of the Yakuza again and immediately had them investigate Tarrlock and Amon. Those guys could do practically anything it was homely creepy and I really hoped I didn't just make the next dai Lee.
When it came to the arena I prepared it to stay closed, it was only going to show people's just how power Amon was getting.
So I and Yongten glided right over to the oculi meeting only find Korra, Bolin, and Suni there somehow.
I opened the two big doors arogon style, I seriously like screaming 'the beckons are lite! The bacons of minastertgo are lite!!'
Instead, my eyes widened to see Korra there.
"No, you can't!" Korra yelled. "I don't understand, I thought you all would take a stand against Amon."
"While I—" Tarrlock began to say before seeing me. "Avatar Takumi!"
"Shut it down, Tarrlock why would we keep it open in the first place? Pride?" I spoke, using my big adultly person voice.
"Our first thing should be to protect people's lives, councilmen." Yongten said I smirked. 'Thing' really? She learned from me too well.
"I agree, I will not put innocent lives at stack hits so you and your friends and play a game."
Korra than looked at me like I was killing her pet hamster, while Meuki wrapped her tail around my neck.
"Pro bending might be a game to you it Isn't to this city. The reality is if you close the arena you lot Amon win." Korra said, a fist in hand.
"What she did yes!" Bolin yelled.
"Oh please, the only reason you want it to stay open is so you can fight in the tournament." I scoffed, folding my arms. She was supposed to be on team avatar not making my life worst.
"I'm sorry, but my decision has been made." Tarrlock said, about to give a top on the judge thing before Lin hit it with her metal bending.
"I can't believe I'm saying but I agree with Korra." She sighed.
"You do?" Korra almost gasped.
"Yeah, you do?"
After Lin saying how she was gonna personally take responsibility for the event, Tarrlock called another vote and smirked at me. "The arena stays open."
"Your days are numbers, Tarrlock." I scoffed before turning dramatically in a Jojo way and walking out.

"Takumi." Tenzin called out. I gave a small smile when I turned. "Aren't you taking this a little too far? I heard you've the avatar made the Yakuza her personal squad again." His eyebrows furrowed and his bread being stroke 24/7.
"Tarrlock up to something, Amon's up to something, Mako up to something I can't sight around!" I scoffed, folding my arms.
"Yongten, don't you think Takumi taking this a bit far?" Tenzin turned to his sister who looked at me and him dumbfounded.
"From what I see she's just being the avatar." She finally said and bro fisted with grins on our faces.
Tenzin sighed and left. Then I sighed remembering the big headache I was about to deal with.
~<>~
Yongten insisted on going to the Arena, I didn't really like it, but she went anyway so whatever.
"Avatar! You want some fire corn? I'll give you one a whole buck for free!" A sells men said, waving me off.
"Wow really? Thanks!" I smiled as he handed me a bucket of popcorn. I guess not everyone hated me after all.
"What about me?" Yongten asked her cotton cheeks in a frown.
"We'll share." I gave an unease smile. She always used to make that face before crying. I almost wanted to run away. What a horrible reflex.
Instead, Yongten pouted, her arms handing as she followed in silence.
We got seats as close to the fighting ring as possible and apparently so did Mako. "Hello, Avatar." He said as he sat right next to me.
"Well we're bumping into each other too much it's almost like you plan it." I smirked, diving my hand in popcorn.
"Ha, in your dreams." Mako grinned back with a huge bucket of popcorn in his hand.
I looked over at Yongten gave me death glare of Fire Nation royalty.
"Ok but seriously, can't you sit somewhere else?" I asked with an eyebrow up, throwing some popcorn in my mouth.
"I don't see why. I'd prefer it here." Mako gave a sharp grin with his even sharper eyebrows. Careful you could sink whole Fire Nation fleets with that sharpened. Because it's so sharp.
"Takumi, don't tell me you like that guy." Yongten whispered at me.
I shrugged with a half empathic look. To be honest I was still deciding.
"Did you beat in anyone?" Mako asked, leaning back in his chair.
"No, I actually don't have any money." I sighed, folding my arms.
"I can change that." Mako tilted his head towards me. "You gonna place one? It makes the fight more interesting."
"Ha, fine." I shrugged.
"How about a hundred yen?" Mako asked, pulling out his wallet.
"Isn't that a lot?" I rose an eyebrow.
"Not exactly." Mako the show off everyone. As he pulled out the money my eyes popped, not because of the thing everyone has to work for their entire lives, no. It was Avatar Gyawa's face on the pink stuff.
"Wait! Seriously?! My— I mean Gyawa face is on money?" I gasped, pointing at the money.
"You didn't know? All the cash has an avatar's face on it. So who you beating on." Mako said like it was nothing. Meanwhile, it was getting to my head. Money with my face on it?! Well, not my real face but still. I felt like manically laughing.
"Ummm. The wolfbats." I put a finger to my chin in thought.
"What?!" Yongten and Mak both gasped.
"Aren't you gonna bet on Korra?" Yongten squinted.
"Yeah and I'm his brother."
"Nah y'all see." I smirked, looking at the ring as they began to walk out on the podium. I didn't remember that much from the show. It had been so long, only the outlines. And I remember being all 'oh geez' when the wolf bats won.
"You didn't rejig this did you?" I suddenly asked, leaning near Mak.
"What do you think I am? I couldn't even honk of bringing for my brother." Mako gave a fake gasp.
By the time the fight as over and Fire after its won Mako looked like he was about to cry a river.
"Hahaha! Looks like I win!" I gave an evil grin,
He "Tsk." And handed me the money and then some.
As I was counting it I sat a light coming from behind, I quickly turned to see equalist.
"Mako, get down!" I screeched, shoving his head down and kicking some fire.
Then I carefully placed the money away and went back to attack mode.
I looked back to see Yongten about to get knocked out from behind.
"Yongten!!!" I pointed.
She quickly moved away and struck at the equalist. I sighed, she got it.
I turned yo see Mako holding up to. So all I had to was hold off until Amon got there.
"There appear to be mask people in the atouance holding strange devices on their hands. One of them in the both with me right now folks. He's leveling one of those glove dives at me right now, I believe he is about to eletcquolto me. I am currently writing my pants."
After a few equalist pushed down to the water I turned to see Amon started taking bending away from the wolf bats.
I was running out of time. I quickly got on my glider and flew over, laying at the opposite side of Amon while throwing a huge blast of air at them.
All the equalist but Amon fell, who jumped right over it.
"Avatar Takumi." Amon spike in his started voice, standing right back up. "I believe you have my attention."
"And you certainly got mine." I stood up, holding my glider like an Airbender.
"Once again the wolf bats are your pro-bending champions, it seems fitting you celebrate three bullies who cheated their way to victory. Because every day you threatening and abuse citizens. Just like the wolf bat did to their appointments tonight. Those men supposedly the best in He bending world. And yet it only took a few moments for me to cleanse them of their impurity. Let this be a warning Avatar—" Amon continued to speak. Was he really going to give me a speech?
"Blah blah blah you're boring me out of my mind! Twenty words or else!" I yelled in a point, I wanted to laugh at the fact that everybody would tie my one punch man reference seriously. "I'm taking you down, Amon!"
Amon than ran towards me, I sliced some win that he slide under it. I then threw earth rings which hit him with no impact and water from the container which he dodged as well.
By that point, he was on me. I stole fire at his leg, he only moved closer and moved his feet at the last second. He was going for my left arm chakra! I quickly used my glider to shove his arm away and spun around him and blasted more fire.
He jumped in the air and twirled perfectly around it.
"Hey! You're not so bad!" I smirked, throwing a fire blast of fire at where he'd land.
And just as I planned he was about to fall right into my trap! Suddenly he only landed on one hand, and the rest of his body completely fine.
He then jumped away, I didn't have to see his face to know that hurt but probs for getting out of it.
He paused, keeping his fighting stance. Before I knew it, it turned to stare down.
I smirked and bended all the elements, Fire, earth, water, air all about to go crashing at him in a twirl.
I could tell he was panicking, his eyes darting backs and forth.
I had him. However out of nowhere
He began to run toward means just as I was about to shoot the elements at him all my muscles stopped moving. Causing me to miss him as he ran right under it.
While the attack itself it the area. Wall and crashed into rubble.
I gasped, I couldn't move a thing, my arms and legs were being blood bended!
I growled as he stood over me as he had won.
But I wasn't done! I had blood bended before. I wasn't great at it like I wasn't great at any side element but none the else I had to try.
As I knelt there helpless I tried to feel the push and pull of the blood but nothing! I couldn't do it! Dang, what happened? Did I get that popcorn gave the damsel virus in it?
"Our showdown, while inevitable, is premature. Although it would be the simplest thing for me to take away your bending right now, I won't." Amon almost whispered, inches away.
How did no one see this? He was so carelessly blood bending me, were they blind or what?
"You'd only become a martyr." He finished, holding my chin.
And just as he did finish talking his mouth off I blew fire from my mouth, cashing him to run back.
I smiled with satisfaction as I stood back up.
"I will not rest until I, and my follower achieve equality. And once we do we will equalize the rest of the world!" He oh so enthoasticly spike as the airship pulled up with the ropes for him to escape. "The revolution has begun Avatar Takumi and there's no stopping it!" He yelled as he was about to fly away on a Led Zeppelin. Oh, wait just zeppelin.
I ran up only to stop myself. What was the point? He was gone.
I looked around to see everyone either knocked out or gone, I guess that would explain why no one says what happened. Still, someone had to have.
And if they did I could seriously use that. Like game of thrones the tofu out of it. That's one sentence I thought I'd never say.
~<>~
"He definitely coming from big, money look at that airship he had." The leader of my favorite and the Yakuza said as we looked at a picture of him, CW style.
"True, he has to have a trail somewhere," I said in such a fake tone I wanted to die. What was wrong with me?
"Exactly, the only two canatagws would be Cabbage courp and Sato industries." Jae thought out loud, clearly giving it all her thought. Unlike me.
"If I may, boss, I think the Sato industry has a better chance of being the criminal here. His wife was killed by dun dun dun, a fire bender." Josen Josen said in a thusatuc time with a wacky smile. He way, he was one of the main members of the Yakuza.
"You definitely have a point there, old man." Kujio spike, holding his cap. Also a higher up.
"Hey! I'm not that old!" Josen Josen yelled with a point.
"We should nab one of the workers, they're bound to know something." Jae said, putting a hand on her hip.
Ok a little aggressive but ok. I mean I did accidentally make a gang though what did I expect?
And apparently, the small group of ten I had made as Gyawa had expanded to over 400 hundred members with Jae the leader, Jona the second hand, Josen Josen, third and Kujio and Josuke, after that they're named get lost.
And yes they were because the Jojo, how the hell they ended up in avatar don't ask. That's the point of bizarre.
It's all one big reference.
"So Jona, how has the investigation on Torrlcok gone?" I asked, leaning on my glider.
"So far, all I've been finding are crimes, I'm so disappointed in that that Tarrlock." Jona shook his head with squinted eyebrows, holding a huge box with even huger muscles.
I didn't even want to know how much protein this guy ate.
"Seriously, this is a guy who has a ton of skillion in the closet." Josuke gave a sour face, holding his nose for some reason.
"I need you to pick it up, we need to prove it in court." I nodded.
"Of course, Avatar. If you'll excuse us." Jona said, walking past with a bow.
That dude's muscles were as big as he damn polite heart.

I was driving with the Yakuza when suddenly a restaurant window shattered open, and two men clashing as the older man fell to the floor, the other who was Suni walked towards me.
"Stop the car." I said, and the captain immediately hit the brake.
"Hey please someone help!!!" The old man yelled in panic as Suni put a fire knife to his face
"Hey! Stop!" I yelled, running up.
"Oh, Avatar Takumi." Suni grinned, hiding his hands after pushing the old gangster away. "What a wonder to see you here."
"Take it in a back ally." I said, putting a hand on my hip.
"What? You're gonna let him beat up that old man?!" A bystander yelled.
My eyes immediately shot towards him, "Are you even our avatar?!" Another yelled.
Before I knew it there was a crowd, one that watched me with angry eyes, stepping closer.
"Stay back!" Kujio shouted while Tae stood closer to my side.
However, before I could do anything Suni ran away through the crowd. With that, we left.
~<>~
When we did get to the Sato industry it was dark and there were another a few workers.
All the top Yakuza and I stood before a corner waiting for someone. And when they did Kujio grabbed him by the collar and held his mouth.
His eyes immediately shot Ann's began to squirm. "Good grief, shut up!" Kujio whispered as he shoved him to the wall.
"Don't mind him, we just want to ask a few questions." I smirked.
"About what?" The worker asked, still huffing.
"Have you been making anything equalist related lately?" I grinned.
"Uhh... come one." He sighed.
"Alright, how bout this, if you testify in court well you of the hook, and give you little cash on the side." I pointed. "We have cash right?" I whispered to the leader.
She sighed; "Yeah."
"I suppose the equalist are going too far... alright. Yes, that's all I make in there." The worker spoke.
"So Sato is apart of the equalist?" Jae asked.
"Yeah, he even meets with me in person to ask if I was willing to make extra money. I thought I was getting the best ride of my life but instead, I got more work."
"Alright thanks, kid." I smiled, "Now all we need is evidence."
"So does that mean we get to brake in? Oh, I've been waiting for this!" Josen Josen grinned, putting his muscly fist together.
"Wait, Josen Josen, we near to be all sneaky! They can't know." I whispered, looking around.
"Oh I see, yes of course." He paused.
"Avatar, The trades just started another fight in Sokka square." A Yakuza Spy ram up in rages.
"Uh, good grief." Kujio sighed, holding his cap.
"Uhh, stupid hog money!!" I spat. "Fine I'll go do that, you do this." I pointed a thumb before running.
"I'll go with you, I never had a thing for sneaking around," Kujio said as he ran alongside me.
"Thanks, Kujio." I smiled, leading the way.
~<>~
"Where is he?!?" I could Mako hiss as we approached.
"As if I'm telling you! You frog-fox traitor!" A thug yelled as Mako held clench teeth and a fire knife to his throat.
"You not sure I can't change your mind?!?" Mako grinned. I knew I said it a lot but damn this side of him was hot.
"Mako!!" I shouted.
"Uhh now?" He sighed, snapping his head. "you pick the wrong times, avatar."
"I told you no fighting in the street!" I said, tightly holding my gliders.
"He ran, what was I suppose to do?" Mako shrugged, still holding in the dude's collar with a cunning grin.
"Let him go that's what!" I said, stepping forward, a whole crowd forming.
"Like I could do that." He hushed, looking in my eyes.
"Stick 'em with the pointy end avatar!" An old man yelled with a huge smile.
What was u supposed to do? He might be a monster but he was still Mako. But if I didn't I'd be fueling Amon. I sighed, oh well. Fighting the hot fire bender it was. Again.
"What are you doing?!"
"Why is she just standing there?"
"Was Amon right?"
The crowd began to pull on me again, all their words just proved I was a bad avatar. I should have taken more precautions for this in the first place.
"Good grief, you want me to pound him?" Kujio sighed his hands in his pockets.
"I warned you this would happen, Mako. Just give up." I said, stepping even closer, I was only a few feet away.
"No! I won't stop! I Have a dream, Takumi, and I won't stop when I'm so close!" Mako yelled, quickly grabbing he thug and running off while kicking a huge firewall.
"After him!!" I yelled at Kujio as I ran and jumped on my glider.
Kujio used his water bending to follow, while I also made him as he ran through the alleyways before he suddenly disappeared.
"Good grief, he got away." Kujio hissed as I landed next to him.
"Uhhhhhhhh let's go meet back with Jae." I shrugged my shoulders. I needed a break from being Avatar. Too many hits confused fire bender boys.
"Alright." Kujio nodded as put his hands in his pockets. "Hey, Avatar Don't you have a bodyguard?" He asked as we walked.
"Uh? Oh yeah. She probably pro-bending training right now." I sighed, Korra was supposed to be here. But as usual, she wasn't.
[A/N: Sorry about the wait, I've just kinda busy, but I'd love to hear y'all thought on Mako, did I go too far? Also, I'm only gonna publish 1 chapter a month. I could barely do this one, not to mention I don't exactly like Lok for so many reasons but I'll keep trying!:)]
