When I awoke
A letter of some sort laid
Upon my desk.

'What's this doing here?' I pondered,
Curiosity filling my head;
As I opened the letter
(Though cold to the Touch, it was)
This is what it read.

"Dear sir," it read.

"I have seen how far you have traveled
Throughout the open sea;
Your journey certainly has unraveled,
In your quest to find me.

"I am waiting patiently
Patiently watching for your arrival
To come;
With arms wide open and a smile
That ne'er fades,
I am waiting to welcome you home.

"Enclosed I have given you
A feather from my wings;
'''Tis a symbol of our friendship,
Let it be a part of your well being.

"Follow the North Star
Do not stray from its path;
Keep the faith going,
Make the journey last.

"Your guardian angel snow angel:
Winter."

I was amazed and surprised
All the at the same time;
Winter written to me,
Did she knew all along?
