Many a legend have come
& passed;
But so few have been lost forever,
In time's dark & frozen past.

Still there is a legend
That has yet to be told;
About an ancient mystical forest,
Beautiful to the eyes & cold.

Covered in white
This forest lies forever pure;
Once inhabited by an Angel & her people,
Winter was what they'd called her.

Winter was the forest's guardian
& her beauty & the forest's beauty
Were unmatched;
Her heart was not ever straying,
As she keeps close watch.

It's also said that at night
When everything & everyone is asleep;
She sings a lullaby song,
That speaks of love & peace.

Winter never once strayed from
Protecting her people from harm;
If sadness came, she would wipe their
Tears & provide heat to keep
Them warm.

Years passed and the Angel
Knew her time would come;
When she would return to the
Heavens above,
& her people would be on their own.

That day did come
But she assured those she loved;
"My flesh may return to dust,
But my spirit will always protect you
From above.

"May peace & joy forever reign
In this beautiful place of peace;
Know that I am with you always,
Through every...smiling...face."

The people of the wintry forest mourned
For their angel but when the 1st snowflake
Fell;
They knew it was a sign,
That in their hearts,
She was still with them alive & well.

They named the forest after
The angel they so loved;
Calling it "Snow Angel Forest"
In her memory.

Now it has long since been
Forgotten as the years pass on by;
But many claim the forest still exists,
Through every twinkling of an eye.

So come along with me;
& together we shall see.
A beautiful & mystical land;
Once forsaken by the hearts of man.
