It was a normal day, normal life, normal kids, normal world, normal everything. Cool, right?

Wrong.

As I said, it was pretty normal this morning. I had woken up 15 minutes late because I slept through my alarm, had to take my breakfast on the bus because I ran out of time to prepare, nearly forgot all of my folders in my room... Normal.

I was talking with my friend, Manny. He's a cool guy, really funny, awesome to hang out with, really understanding; I loved being with him. We were joking about how stars were just little glitter sparkles that astronauts had spread throughout outer space and that they did it to make trails to get back to their ship when exploring but eventually just used too much. Again, normal for a conversation between us two. We were like that.

And- oh, almost forgot. I'm Sammy; most call me Sam. Anyway...

We had continued our random conversation when the bus just... Stopped. We glanced around and noticed that it wasn't just the bus. It was everything. A bit freaked out, we looked around some more. Yep. Everything was frozen in place. Or should I say; Time? And if that wasn't crazy enough, a huge - I dunno, portal? Rift? Wormhole?? Something opened up in the ground just in front of the bus, and... I still can't believe this happened...
