I whimpered as I woke up. I looked around and saw that it was dark. I got up and stretched. I looked around and my eyes stopped when they saw a tray on my desk. I got up and walked toward it. What? Why's it empty? I thought to myself." Your mom came in here and thought it would be a waste for the food to be there." EM said. I rolled my eyes. I got a sweater and put it on before heading downstairs." Ooh~ Ignoring me again?" EM asked." You can't ignore me forever you know. One day, you will crack~" He says. I went downstairs and got an apple. I took a few bites out of it, slowly enjoying the taste of some food." How boring-" He suddenly disappeared. I stopped, looking around. That's weird. He never does that. I shrugged it off and continued eating my apple. I froze when I felt a presence behind me. I turned around and tried to slap the person behind me. It caught my hand, making me terrified." Such a bad girl~" A deep voice said, shaking me to the core." You're the Avatar's friend, right? You might be a threat to me. I know just what to do with you." He says. I tried to get out his grasp. When I did, men appeared behind me, holding me down to my knees. I couldn't scream. I was too scared to do anything." This will be quick." He said, putting his thumb on my forehead and a finger and puts his other hand on my shoulder. I tried to escape. I suddenly found my voice. I screamed.

I gasped as I woke up, sweating. I looked around. It was light. It was probably the middle of the day. I sighed, holding my head. What was that? Was that a dream? Or was it a vision? I got up and stretched. I got some clothes and took a shower. After I took a shower, I got dressed. I had a navy blue spaghetti strapped top, black skinnies, black converse and a tan sweater top to put over it. I looked at my hair and brushed it. I brushed my teeth and went downstairs." Morning honey. Feeling better?" Ma asked. I nodded." Yup. I'm going to go out for a bit okay? Get some fresh air." Mom nods." Alright. Be back before dinner." Ma said." Alright. Love you." I said, grabbing my bag." Love you too." She said before I closed the door. I breathed in the fresh air and sighed. It feels so good to be outside. I felt so much better. I could actually go outside and enjoy life. Which I couldn't do because I was sick. I saw Korra training and walked toward her. She saw me and grinned." Good to see you're all better!" She said, holding up her fist, which I fist pumped." Yeah. I was just going out and explore. Wanna come?" I asked. She groans." Can't. Tenzin's making me do this whole "inner peace" thing to get a better control of my air bending." She says. I frowned." Dang. I hope that goes well." I said. I waved to her before leaving." Bella." I heard the two brothers say." We were just coming to see you!" Bolin says, hugging me." Hey Bolin. I was just going out and explore. It feels so nice to get out the house. Wanna come?" I asked. Bolin sighed." Can't. I gotta train Pabu." Right when he said his name, Pabu popped out from his shirt." Maybe Mako can join you." Bolin suggested. Mako thought for a moment." Sure. I'm not doing anything. Besides, there's a lot of creeps in this town." I smiled at his protective side. So cute." That's why you love him~" EM said. I ignored him." Alright. Let's go then." I said, walking with Mako to the city.

I kept looking at shops around us. Everything looked so cool yet.... sketchy? I guess is the word. Everything either looked run down or had a sketchy person running it. I looked around while Mako was looking some fruit. I looked at a shop near me and gasped. I ran to the window and looked inside. There were per hedgehogs in there! They looked so cute! Mako must've noticed because he walked next to me and looked in." Aren't they so cute?! Look, that one has a hat!" I said, excitedly. Hedgehogs were my favorite animal." You like hedgehogs?" Mako asked. I nodded." I saved a hedgehog one time when its leg got hurt and cared for it. My grandmother wouldn't let me keep it because I was a child and didn't know how to take care of a pet." I explained. A hedgehog was pushed a giant the glass and I kneeled down. The hedgehog sniffed the glass and looked at me. I titled my head to the side and it followed me. I titled my head normally and it followed." Aw~! So cute~!" I said. Mako looks at me with a smile. I looked at him with a slight blush." What?" I asked." You remind me of when Bolin was young and got Pabu for the first time." He says. I blushed brightly and looked back to the glass. I put my hand on the glass and the little hedgehog put his paw on the window.' So adorable!' I thought. I stopped smiling when I realized something." What's wrong?" Mako asked me." I just realized I don't have enough money for him. Nor do I think mom and dad will let me keep him." I said with a sad smile. The hedgehog clawed at the glass, trying to get out. I frowned." Aw but I want you so bad~!" I frowned. I got up and dusted myself off." Alright. We should go before I try and steal him." I said. Mako nodded, taking me away. I heard a small whimper and my heart broke." Don't worry. You'll see him again." Mako said, giving me a small encouraging smile." I don't think I will." I said." He whimpered~! Poor little thing!" I said. I was depressed the rest of the evening.

"I'm so sad about that hedgehog...!" I muttered. Mako chuckled, giving me a pat on the back." You'll see it again." He says." How do you know?" I asked." I feel like it'll happen in the future. It's destiny." He says. I smiled a little." I guess you're right. Thanks Mako." He smiles at me, pulling into a side hug." No problem, Bell."
