The next day

As usual, the royal heirs are up and are following their daily routine meanwhile master had already planned out everything for today's training session, he was just waiting in the meeting hall for all the students to arrive so that they can start with today's lessons, you and Jinmi are standing next to each other whereas Prince Jimin and Jungkook are standing in front of you, observing that your unnie, Jinmi is drooling over them, you punch her shoulder to snap her out from her horny thoughts.

"What! why did you pinch me that really stings.", Jinmi said whining rubbing her arm and you chuckled cutely at her, Prince Jimin turned back when he heard you laughing your eyes met for a moment and he smirked at you, and girl you were a blushing mess by now you look down feeling the heat all over your cheeks.

"Alright! students today we will be working on your war skills, as many of you might be already aware of few things, but for the new trainees who are not familiar with fighting or using weapons we are starting from the basics, so I request others to go slow with other trainees even if you are already perfect, I hope everyone understands," the master said while gesturing other trainers to start the training and all the students agreed to their master.

You grab your sword sharpening it thoroughly. You are determined to enhance your swordsmanship, your father and your brother Prince Jin had already trained you how to fight since your childhood, but past one year you haven't held a sword in your hand, but now you are going back to being perfect in handling a sword.

Your unnie, Jinmi, she was never into wars, combats or fights she was exceptionally skilled in medicines but now as a part of their training, she is having a hard time with these weapons. You guide her how to hold and help her when you felt she was good to go you continued with your training.

Your master was quite impressed by you since very few woman's or girls were good in these type of things and with this, a pride grin was plastered over your face, you felt very dominant and it was satisfying that you were perfect in war skills.

Now it was already afternoon you all had taken a break from all the training session you untied your hairs letting them free fall over your shoulders,
Jinmi had brought your food on the table where both decided to eat.
"Here I bought this for both of us, I didn't know what to bring so I grabbed small portions of all dishes."
Jinmi said while taking a seat at the table placing the bowls down.

"Thank you so much for the food, unnie. Let's dig in," you say as both of you continued bickering with each other and laughing around while enjoying your lunch, suddenly a figure grabbed your attention. You stop eating your food and observe. It seems like even Jinmi notice what you were seeing, there you found everyone eating with someone or with their friends, but Prince Jungkook is all alone he had taken a seat over a rock looking at the sky even his right hand was not with him, he was just alone you felt somehow different it made you realise how his life had been all over these years, alone with no one by his side just because of a fucking scar on his face, people treated him differently called him ugly or many even hated him, when in fact he was beyond ethereal his face was perfect it was as if the pearl white moon had a scar which was mere when compared to his luminosity, Prince Jungkook was indeed charming but why doesn't others think like that.
You sigh even though his behaviour towards you was rude but you felt bad for him, he didn't deserve to be alone like that, when that wasn't even his fault at the first place.

Now all you were back to training session you all were choosing your desired horses for the next session of training but what your master said next was unexpected all of them gasped in surprise well few were excited planning to flirt around with each other. "So we will start with horse riding but this time you have to aim the target and shoot an arrow, like this while riding you have to get skilled in bow arching, I will be the one to decide your partners as I call out your names stand next to your partner you all are doing this in pairs."

This time you were grinning like an idiot, when you heard your partners name you were going to be on a horse with your crush, what could ever be best than this "Princess y/n please go and stand next to Prince Jimin." your master said and now with your heart beating heavily you go and stand next to him. He smiles at you knowing your presence, unlike Prince Jungkook who is always ready to bore holes in your soul. The training started and you were standing in front of the track and the horse was right in front of you, this was too much to handle the amount of closeness your crush was going to be exactly behind your back.

"Step on, or you need my help y/n ?" Jimin said softly asking if you need help in climbing the horse "I can but thanks for asking me, Prince Jimin," you reply getting on the horse and when you were comfortable, Jimin hopped on the horse behind you, there wasn't a gap between your bodies, but again why was it always you when you were so close with your crush why it had to be now, why is your fate like that, just why of all the people you had to get stuck with him. You started sulking internally when your master said this.

"Prince Jimin there's someone from royal Palace who wants to meet you, they are waiting for you my lord," a servant said while master gestured Jimin that he can go and meet, now you were left alone on the horse.

"Princess y/n and Prince Jungkook are paired up now since his partner is not feeling well, and even Prince Jimin is not here so both of you start with the training," the master said shocking the life out of you already past encounters with prince Jungkook were horrible.

Jungkook hops behind you as the matter said both of you can't argue that you didn't want to be with each other, you have to obey your master no matter what with no choice left is exactly right behind you.
"Ah.. what the hell what is happening with me today," Jungkook said completely done over the situation.

"Hey it's not my fault that your partner is not feeling well," you protest not willing to hear his ramble up you.

"At least he was better, what good are you for can you even... Aish, just forget it. Don't drag me in trouble at least. Why am I even with you?" Jungkook said annoyingly looking down upon you and you gritted your teeth clenching your fists, all the Prince were having trouble who got female partners while for the ones where both were males were doing good, since as already said in ancient times girls very few girls were into this war and combat stuff, so other princesses were having a hard time in coping up with others. The ones who got female partners knew they almost couldn't win this.

"You shoot the arrow towards the target and I will be riding the horse," you say while holding on ready to run your horse and Jungkook was bewildered "You... Do you even know how to ride a horse? We are not here to play around Y/N I want to win this no matter what," Jungkook says not believing on you.

"Look are you in the place to do two things at the same time? no you can't I will ride our horse and you shoot the target and yeah instead of mocking out each other it's better if we focus on our mission," you say and start Jungkook glared you but at the same time, he is amused that you were riding and controlling the horse perfectly in your hands, you both play the strategy in spite of hating each other you end up doing it perfectly.

The opponent male partners try to push your horse Jungkook worries how will you handle it, he was busy in shooting the arrow behind you, meanwhile, you swiftly take a U-turn and move towards the target quickly taking the horse, to make it easier for Jungkook to shoot and there both of you ended up winning the mission and well everyone praised both of you, few were Jealous on your achievement.

"I must say you are exceptionally good, I didn't expect that from you," Jungkook said praising you which surprised you at the same time Prince Jungkook was talking with you, which he never even cares to speak with someone.

"But it wouldn't have been possible without you, we did it together without you I couldn't have shot the target. Thank you, Prince Jungkook. I had a nice time with you," you say slightly bowing and rushed away since Jinmi was shouting your name almost bleeding every one's ears.

Jungkooks p.o.v 

What's with her? She is different, no one ever treated me properly, here I kept on mocking her. She was so polite and genuine with me. She is the first person who talked like that with me ever since I had that scar on my face, all the people around me hated and behaved like as if I had no existence at all, but what's all this with me feeling something which I can't tell her sweet rosy scent is still lingering around my mind the way her hairs kept brushing on my face flowing through the wind, touching my neck so soft what's this feeling ah.... what's wrong with me don't let her on your mind Jungkook.
