When two individuals' paths separate, there are always two stories to be told. There are always two sides to every story, after all.

After the battle in the Arctic in Earthrealm, where Chase Ryder was sucked away into a dimensional rift caused by the one he called forth to defend him, there was much on the mind of the female Saiyan that came to his side... who stirred her long-hardened spirit to feel something more than just the thrill of the fight.

So it was that while Chase was thawed out from a deep freeze in an iceberg to help his saviors fight a legion of robot Vikings, starting off his path to become a hero...

Zucha was trying to collect her thoughts after losing something she found so precious to her, so close to her.... so... Meaningful, to her.

Dragonrealm, outside North City

Zucha's Private Training Area

"So, my tale with Beerus began, as I said, a little while ago... matter of fact it might have been not long after they came back from that long Tournament," Zucha recalled. "It was after I lost Chase... when I got back home a few days ago...

A few days ago...

West City, Just outside Capsule Corp.

"Uh... you wanna get trained by-" Goku was getting ready to ask Zucha.

"Yeah, I wanna get trained by Beerus! You guys are stronger than I am but I can't ever tell how close! I need to know how you both do it!" Zucha begged.

"What are you talking about Zucha? If you can achieve Legendary Super Saiyan just like Kale did in the tournament of power, you must be stronger than her by now, right?" Goku asked.

"Kakarot, you buffoon. You're seriously going to try and reason with a Saiyan about not getting stronger?" Vegeta asked incredulously, giving Kakarot a side-eye. "As humiliating as it is to admit, there were only two times when Kakarot and I encountered the power of a Legendary Super Saiyan. The first of course, was when we faced that girl from Universe 6. When she went berserk, Kakarot could not even slow her down, not even in Super Saiyan Blue. Then of course there was Broly... ...And we had to... tch... fuse... to defeat him." Vegeta finished.

"Legendary Super Saiyan isn't going to be enough! If you guys needed to fuse to beat Broly that means you still can beat me! And I can't have that! I need to get stronger, stronger than any Legendary Super Saiyan ever dreamed of!" exclaimed.

"Don't say that, Zucha! We only fused as a last resort because Broly got too out of hand!" Goku reasoned.

"Had we continued to face him separated, we would have been 6 feet under no doubt," Vegeta admitted.

"Rrrrgh... I'M GOING WITH YOU AND THAT'S FINAL!" Zucha roared, as she suddenly flared up her aura at the two of them in anger.

"Hey whoa whoa whoa! It, It's not that simple! That's what we're trying to tell you!" Goku exclaimed.

"You have to do something real extraordinary to get on Lord Beerus' notice, or even have a remote chance of getting training," Vegeta explained.

"But Beerus didn't even train you directly! Wasn't it all Whis? He's the guy who helped both of you unlock your God forms!" Zucha exclaimed.

"Yeah but even then we had to be approved by Beerus first! This is his attendant after all-!" Goku exclaimed before, speak his name and he appears, Whis appeared before them.

"Now what could all this commotion be about? Lord Beerus was expecting you both back already by now." Whis told Goku and Vegeta.

"Sorry, Whis... we've got a bit of a problem here," Goku said.

"Oh?" Whis asked, looking at Zucha. "Oh my... I believe this is the first time I've met you. Would either of you two be so kind?"

"Oh, right! You haven't been introduced yet!" Goku said, knowing that Zucha was absent during the God of Destruction Beerus Saga. "Then let me introduce you to Earth's very own Legendary Super Saiyan, this is Zucha!"

"Greetings... Servant of Lord Beerus, I humbly kneel to you..." Zucha declared, bowing lowly before Whis. "Please, accept me as a student! You or your master! I wish to become even stronger than just my Legendary state! I want to gain strength beyond the known boundaries of this power! Please, I beseech you!"

"Oh, I've heard quite a bit about you. You're the daughter of the one who tried to plant the Tree of Might and eradicate multiple planets, right?" Whis asked as Zucha immediately started massively sweating.

"Y-yes my... Gulp Father was Turles, sir..." Zucha admitted.

"What?! Your father was that traitorous Saiyan scum!?" Vegeta snarled.

"Yes... b-but I refuse to follow in his steps! He's nothing more than a wretched stain and damnable title I must wear wherever I go! I'd rather go to HELL than be roped in with that douche! ...Pardon the language..." Zucha told the Saiyan prince.

"Wow, I don't believe it... Turles wasn't as nearly as strong as you when he came to Earth to plant that tree." Goku remarked.

"He abandoned me on Planet Yardrat." Zucha stated, venom in her tone. "Promptly told me it was 'suitable for refuse like me.' Tch. It's miraculous how I even managed to get here... I got lucky on that planet for sure... Way too lucky." Zucha stated.

"You were on Yardrat, same as Kakarot?" Vegeta asked.

"Yeah. And before you ask Goku... yes, I did earn Instant Transmission the same way you did. I studied the technique while the Yardrats demonstrated it. Granted, it took me a little longer to master the technique compared to you, but the time spent was well worth it! With Instant Transmission, I was able to get back to Earth just fine!" Zucha smiled.

"Ghk-! You Instant Transmissioned from Yardrat to here!?" Vegeta exclaimed in disbelief.

"Wow! Even I didn't do that! I found a spare Saiyan pod!" Goku exclaimed.

"W-we're off track, please O servant of the Destruction God, I wish to learn! I wish to grow stronger!" Zucha begged once more.

"Hm... for what reason though? Goku and Vegeta trained under me solely to grow stronger. But you?" Whis asked before he smiled. "I get the feeling this is more about gaining strength for the sake of it."

"...Someone I hold dear... ...If I had been stronger, faster, more aware... I could have..." Zucha clutched her heart, as Chase's image throbbed in her mind. She could feel her heart pounding in her chest just thinking about him again. The one who appeared in her life and gave her something to pursue other than just strength...

All her life, Zucha's only goal was gaining power. Why did she want to gain power? It was simple. Wiping away that stupid relationship she had with the one who cursed her life to be connected to him. The daughter of Turles was a legacy she wanted to burn, destroy, and throw to the ground in tatters and shreds. She was going to make her legacy, she WANTED her legacy. All along her legacy, her goal of wiping away Turles' influence was all that drove her forward in training.

So she fought. All through the history of her Timeline. She was there for every major battle in Goku's history. She was there when Vegeta and Nappa landed on Earth. She joined the group on Namek where she stopped Goku from becoming body swapped with Ginyu. She was there... when not only Goku, but herself, turned Super Saiyan for the initial face-down with Frieza. Goku gave her a Space Pod back then to escape... She was there for the Cell Games, and almost beat Cell herself before some dirty plays involving Cell Jr's led her to a humiliating loss. She spent the entirety of the Buu Saga training... up until Buu was about to destroy Earth... ...Earth never got destroyed.

"GAAAAAAAH!!!!!" Zucha yelled in the memory as she was holding back Kid Buu's attack by herself, struggling against the force of it as Gohan looked on in awe of her strength, as Zucha looked down towards him. "G... GO!!!! ...GET OUT OF HERE GOHAN!"

"Wha-!? I won't leave you here! I won't abandon you!" Gohan yelled back.

"Oh for the love of- I SAID GO, DAMNIT!" Zucha yelled. "And get that damn pink gum somewhere else!!! If he attacks me while I'm trying to hold this back...!"

Gohan gasped, knowing she was right, as he nodded and dashed for Buu, nailing him as Goku rushed in, doing his quick rescue routine he did in the original Buu saga, but this time, having time to get Gohan, as the battle was drawn away, finally allowing Zucha to blast the destructive ball into the sky, as the explosion rattled the Earth, and slammed Zucha to the ground... but Earth was saved.

"Ugh... damn... took... you... long... enough...!" Zucha groaned before passing out.

Zucha closed her eyes, remembering that moment well, and then caught back up to the moment that led her to this decision. Chase. A man she only met... and yet, the minute she laid eyes on him... something special clicked in her heart... ...Was it sibling-like? Motherlike maybe? ...Or was it... genuine love...? Not familial but... more intimate...? Zucha didn't know... but it was that driving feeling... that made her make this choice. They could see it all in her emotions alone and smiled.

"Oh, I suppose I can inquire Lord Beerus. Perhaps your status as a Legendary Super Saiyan may help you. Do wait right here a moment please." Whis smiled as he warped away for a while.

"Wow, Zucha. I had no idea you cared for someone that much. This is the first time I think I've ever seen you feel... well, emotional about something." Goku admitted.

"Well... I dunno he... he just seemed like my type, y'know?" Zucha admitted.

"He?" Vegeta asked.

"Yeah, he. Remember when I got whisked away during our sparring session? Well, turns out this guy named Chase was responsible. But he needed help, like, massive help. Crazy guy was fighting Androids 13, 14, and 15 all at once." Zucha explained. "And once I laid my eyes on him... it's like... I can't explain it, alright?"

"You don't have to explain anything, Zucha. I'm sure you have your reasons for wanting to go train with Whis." Goku said.

"Bah, I know exactly what's driving her, Kakarot. The girl's madly in love." Vegeta scoffed, as if it was unheard of that a Saiyan would train in the name of love.

This made Zucha's face flush deep red as she heard this.

"Wait, is that really what's going on, Vegeta?!" Goku asked.

"It's not!" Zucha exclaimed to Goku. "I'm not in love!"

"Sure you're not." Vegeta said. "If you're not, why is the Stone-Hearted Zucha blushing like a teenage girl?"

"Tch...!" Zucha growled as she heard Vegeta say this.

"I rest my case." Vegeta smirked. "To think a love-sick fool could attain god-hood from just training with Whis and Beerus." Vegeta scoffed.

"You and Goku did it, so why can't I?!" Zucha yelled.

"Now, hang on, Zucha. I only unlocked God Ki because of the ritual. Vegeta did because he brute forced right to Blue, it's not as easy as you think, even if you are a Legendary Super Saiyan." Goku explained.

"I don't give a damn!" Zucha yelled. "If I'm gonna get stronger, then god ki is the next step! And I'm gonna attain it! Whatever it takes... I have to..."

"Hrmp. Then let's hope you find favor in Beerus' eyes." Vegeta spoke with folded arms.

"Right... you got to his planet because you swayed Whis with delicious food." Zucha remembered. "So to seal the deal, before Whis gets back, I need to prepare my own offering for Lord Beerus!"

"We've pretty much given him all the tastiest foods Earth has to offer, though." Goku said.

"Not all the tastiest food, you haven't! Along with being a talented fighter, I also learned a nice bit of cooking on the side and lemme tell you, none of you have had the chance to taste food as good as what I make!" Zucha beamed.

Zucha then turned away as she ignited her aura to prepare for high-speed culinary work, as she flew back home.

Later, on Lord Beerus' planet...

"What do you mean she deserves a shot!? There's already a Legendary Super Saiyan here!" Beerus exclaimed to Whis, as he wasn't exactly keen on four Saiyans being on his planet.

"Now, now, Lord Beerus, she's an interesting case. She's not just here to train with them. She wants to take her strength to the next level, milord, and mix her power with God Ki." Whis explained.

"WHAT!? And just what made you think that was a good idea to allow!? Do you KNOW how strong she could become!? She could usurp me as a destroyer!" Beerus exclaimed.

"I already said I didn't want to learn Hakai!" Zucha exclaimed, which caught Beerus' attention.

"...Is that so? Why didn't you speak up sooner?" Beerus remarked as he heard this. "After all a Destruction God without Hakai is like Ice Cream without Ice. Very well then, I'll consider it..."

"Speaking of which Zucha, Goku and Vegeta mentioned the dish you'd be bringing for us would be scrumptious according to your self proclaimed cooking skills." Whis said.

"Yes, sir!" Zucha nodded with a bow.

"I hope you live up to your boasts, because if your cooking is subpar, you wont get to train here." Beerus said.

"Understood sir, shall we set up the dining place?" Zucha asked.

After the table was set up, Zucha presented the dish that she cooked.

"I present... my Zucha special!" Zucha served up her dish, which was a seared, medium rare steak cooked to perfection adorned with an aromatic combination of spices and fragrances done in a combination never seen before in a meal, with a side dish of veggies and rice buns.

Once Beerus and Whis took a single bite each.... They couldn't contain their joy and delight at the taste.

"It melts in the mouth~!" Beerus cried in joy. "It's like I just took a bite right out of the divine realms!"

"Oh my, the combination of spices... interesting yet they marinate and harmonize beautifully...." Whis remarked.

"WOW! This is absolutely amazing!" Goku remarked, chowing down like an animal after the first bite.

"....I'll give you this much, you're a stellar cook..." Vegeta remarked with a tearful expression on his face as if admiring art.

"And what say you three?" Zucha asked of Broly, Cheelai and Lemo.

Broly gave a firm nod and a thumbs up to his fellow Legendary Super Saiyan.

"This is earth food?! How the heck did I miss this?!" Cheelai asked in delicious amazement.

"I dunno, think she has any more?" Lemo asked.

"I brought enough for the appetites of five Saiyans plus a little! Dig in!" Zucha beamed proudly.

After a long and enjoyable meal...

"Quite the delicious meal, Zucha. Arguably the best one Lord Beerus and myself have had." Whis said.

"Indeed. I think you've earned your keep... however..." Beerus remarked.

"What's wrong?" Zucha asked.

"Acquiring God Ki while you're already on par with it is something that you'll not get just from ordinary training. I could put you through my regiment day in and day out and you'll never get anywhere." Beerus admitted.

"...Then... what can I do?" Zucha asked, slightly dejected.

After a moment of thought, Whis snapped his fingers.

"Lord Beerus, may I have permission to train her?" Whis asked.

"You!? The last time you trained someone was me, what qualifies her to go through your hellish methods!?" Beerus asked in both shock, and admittedly, slight concern.

"Well, I was the one who helped Goku and Vegeta get as strong as they are now. And Goku now has the power of Ultra Instinct." Whis remarked. "Who's to say I couldn't help our new trainee acquire her desired levels through my, admittedly rigorous but rewarding, methods?" Whis asked.

".....Alright fine, just don't break the girl on day 1, she's one of the best warriors Earth has." Beerus demanded.

"I look forward to training with you, Whis! And who knows? Maybe I'll learn Ultra Instinct!" Zucha laughed.

"Sadly, I'm not sure the nature of Ultra Instinct would suit you, Zucha. Powerful at it is, it requires you to be fully at one with your instincts as is part of the name, and considering you're likely more focused on power output, that is likely not the case for you." Whis remarked. "However... a Legendary God Saiyan, on the other hand...?"

"Legendary... God Saiyan?" Zucha asked.

"Wait, are you suggesting she could maybe utilize both God form and her Legendary form into one!?" Goku exclaimed.

"It's not entirely impossible. Super Saiyan Blue is the Super Saiyan Version of a Super Saiyan God. So who's to say the same cannot be accomplished with Zucha here?" Whis admitted.

"If you're aiming for that, you'll need a little something." Beerus remarked, walking up to Zucha and placing a hand on her forehead, as her body jolted.

"Ouch!" Zucha exclaimed.

"What did you do to her, Lord Beerus?!" Vegeta exclaimed.

"What else? I just gave her God Ki." Beerus smirked.

"But... that was so easy! Goku needed to harness the power of 5 pure hearted Saiyans to-!" Zucha started.

"Shut up. I gave you the god ki for one reason and one reason alone: You are Whis' student, all you have right now is a latent God Ki. Matter of fact, try to use it right now." Beerus remarked.

Zucha immediately tried to go into God form, but her body jolted and revolted due to energy overuse.

"Yep. You used too much energy and your body revolted. As a Legendary Super Saiyan, you use a lot of ki to maintain the form. You can't do a damn thing with that God Ki without proper control." Beerus remarked. "And even then, you'll still need to learn how to control it and use it, as opposed to it using you for what it wants." Beerus declared.

"So first, we'll be putting you through some rigorous power calibrations." Whis declared. "That way, you learn proper control, even at full strength."

"They have a point. When out of control, a Super Saiyan like me has energy rising so quickly it's all too much for my body to handle." Zucha thought. "If I mess up even a little when harnessing so much power, I'll end up like Cell..."

Zucha then pictured her swelling up from the overflow just like Semi-Perfect Cell, before exploding like a Supernova and taking earth and half the population with her.

"....Yeah, I don't need that." Zucha added with a mortified expression in her thoughts. "Also... if i can't control my power..."

She then thought back to what happened in Earthrealm... when her reckless attack sent chase spiraling into the unknown. Because of her, she was separated from him...

"....Alright, I get exactly what you're saying, Lord Beerus." Zucha remarked. "I may have the power, but I'll never be able to use it if I can't control my energy."

"Well, she does have a brain." Beerus remarked with a smile. "Alright, Whis, she's all yours."

"Well, then, I just have one thing to ask: are you ready, Zucha?" Whis asked.

"I'm ready, Master Whis!" Zucha exclaimed as she bowed before Whis.

Zucha's Voice over: "And so, my journey of strength began. Whis started me off the best way he knew how, drills to control my energy, in and out of transformations."

Zucha could be seen doing various exercises to control her power, such as Yoga, precision striking, and other exercises to control her power output and where it went.

Zucha's Voice over: "After that, came manipulating the energy. Controlling it was one thing, but to really harness the ki, I needed to learn how to output the power without going back into massive overload state."

Zucha could be seen doing techniques like Yamcha's Spirit Ball, Krillin's Destructo Disk, even Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon to learn how to direct and even bring the energy back to herself to recollect it after it was used, as Whis even knocked her around some so she could practice the variation of Goku's self reviving technique he used against Hit.

Zucha: I also had to learn how to move in different planes of existence. You'd think it would be simple as training in several times higher than Earth's gravity, but each dimension has its own definition of "Earth's gravity," which is something Whis helped to simulate.

Thanks to watching the Tournament of Power, Whis was able to simulate areas from other universes that were within it. Universe 11, Universe 6, Universe 2, and several other Universes with different laws of Earth's Gravity for Zucha to train with. In one area, Zucha was even subjected to and environment with over 3,000x the Gravity, not of Earth, but of Jupiter. Zucha had trouble even getting one foot

Zucha: Whis even brought me to other universes to help get in some practice against their fighters, heh, it was wild! I even got to scrap against Jiren! ....Yeah, I lost that one, unfortunately. But i'll get him back one day.

Zucha could be seen battling against several of the ToP members from the tournament, such as the Danger Trio of Bergamo, Basil, and Lavender, the Love Fighters Ribrianne, Kakunsa, and Rosie, Caulifla and Kale, and most of the Pride Troopers, Jiren included, who while beat Zucha, remarked that she was his hardest challenge to date besides Goku in a battle, something Zucha took to pride.

Zucha: And after that, Whis put me through his final test.... Temporal Distortions. In some universes, time and speed are measured differently compared to our own, which Whis also helped me to hone during my tenure under his wing.

Zucha could be seen taking the training course alongside familiar faces in King Kai and Gregory, who was Zucha's main target of the training courtesy of King Kai. Whilst Gregory was able to keep his speed, Zucha on the other hand had to deal with several shifts of her speed and her perception of time, of which she would eventually overcome, despite the difficulty of it.

Zucha: And once it was all done, I decided to try it out... and... it happened.

After the training was done, Zucha would try once more... and Whis would have eyes widened as he saw a bright white glow, which flashed the scene back to the present time.

"I see. So you too have mastered God ki, hm?" Liu Kang remarked with intrigue.

"Hehe, yeah! You could definitely say that for sure!" Zucha beamed. "...Oh, I better get back to training, I need to meet up with my friends Kuri and Arame after I'm done."

"Kuri and Arame?" Liu Kang asked, knowing them of course, but wanting to hear what Zucha had to say.

"Oh yeah! Kuri's a Saiyan Dragon and Arame's a Majin. I met them after training with Whis was done. They also got training from Beerus after I did, apparently!" Zucha remarked. "They're awesome to have."

"I'm sure." Liu Kang smiled. "...I must be going now, Zucha. But, I sense great things ahead, both for you and your friends. And fret not. In time, you'll be reunited with Chase again." He would reassure.

"Thanks for the reassurance, Lord Liu Kang. Good luck with handling the realms!" Zucha stated.

"With champions like you, I doubt I'll need much luck. But your words are appreciated." Liu Kang smiled before he proceeded to make a portal back to his keep, as Zucha would turn away at this, as she proceeded to take off to finish up her training.

"(Have I really gotten stronger in just these ten months...? ...I mean, I have the God ki... but... utilizing it is another thing. Maybe Whis and Beerus know something about my control I don't.)" Zucha thought as she proceeded back on honing her God Ki... unaware of how soon she'd need to utilize it.

In another part of Earth...

"...They're closing in, Mark." A man's voice stated in a wasteland nearby a city. "The time's come."

"....I wish we had more time, dad." 'Mark' replied, with regret in his tone.

"...Me too, son." The father of 'Mark' remarked, before a third figure floated down to them, feminine in figure.

"Earth is ready to be conquered?" The woman asked.

"Yes, Lieutenant. With just the three of us, Earth's capture is more than secured." The mature man remarked.

"Excellent work, Nolan." The woman remarked. "Let's get this done, before General Thragg insists we resort to... more violent means." She would state, as the trio would soon walk into the light, revealing three individuals, one clad in blue and yellow, the second clad in white and red with an "O" on his suit, and the third wearing a silver and white battlesuit of her own, as they looked towards the city, their first site of conquest.
