Plasma's POV:

"Honey,wake up!"

I groaned and slowly opened my eyes.I was honestly very tired from playing video games last night, yes I am a gamer.I rolled over, not realizing I was on the edge of the bed.

"Ow!"I yelled

I groaned in pain, slowly getting up.I was in a white t shirt and black cargo shorts, sounds like something you wouldn't wear to sleep, but I do.I looked at the clock on my nightstand and I immediately grew wide-eyed.I just realized today was the first day of school!

"OH SHIT!I'M GONNA BE LATE!"I immediately ran to my closet to get some clothes.I undressed from my normal sleep attire and I put my school clothes on.It was black long-sleeved shirt with a lightning bolt on it paired with some generic jeans.Not tight jeans, not baggy jeans, or ripped jeans, just normal jeans that fit my size.I then ran to the bathroom to get myself washed up and ready.I splashed water onto my face and I immediately grabbed my tooth brush, putting tooth paste on it.I started scrubbing my teeth at a fast rate, and I spat out the tooth paste after 20 seconds.I grabbed a towel, wiping my face with it, and I finally stopped to look at myself in the mirror.

"Looking good handsome."I said to myself, doing finger gun gestures at the mirror.I then pretended to blow the 'smoke' away from the heating barrel of my finger gun.

I ran downstairs and I got some cereal and milk, pouring the cereal into a bowl and then the milk.Who's crazy enough to pour milk first and then the cereal?I didn't realize my mom was looking at me weird,I think she was concerned about me rushing.

"What's the problem my dear?"She asked with a slight hint of worry.

"I'm gonna be late for school y'know!?"I answered, eating my cereal frantically

"Oh, silly Plasma, school starts at 9:30 AM, it's only 7:30."She answered, giggling after that

I looked up from my bowl of cereal, the realization setting in.I would face palm if I could, but I currently have a spoon in my right hand and...oh...I face palmed with my left hand.

"Ugh...Mom, why didn't you tell me this!?I could've slept another 30 minutes!"I yelled

She giggled again saying,"It's best to get up early and be ready than wake up late."

I was done with my cereal by the time she was done talking, and I sighed.My mom always did this back when I was a freshman, guess old habits never die.

"Whatever, I'll just play video games for the time being."I said, putting the bowl near the sink and walking to the couch.

"Alright, is your backpack ready?Remember what happened last time?"She put her hands on her hips

"Yeah yeah, I packed my bag last night."I made a mistake in my freshman year where I didn't pack my things on the first day,I ended up having to take notes on a separate piece of paper and a loaner pencil.I booted up my Xbox and the first thing we both saw was a game I always liked to play, Battlefield 4.I selected it, and I started playing several matches on Siege of Shanghai Conquest.

*1 hour and 30 minutes later*

An hour and a half went by and I only got two matches down, most of the matches I play take a good amount of time to complete.But I ended winning both matches with an AWS.

"Plasma!It's 9'o clock!You should go now!"I heard my mom yelling out

I nodded and returned to the home screen,shutting off the console.I ran to the living room where I left my bag and booked it out of the door.Here I was running to my high school,I could get there in 15 minutes with my normal speed, which was moderately fast.

Oh wait.I forgot to introduce myself,DAMN IT!I'm Plasma Ora, a Zeraora at the age of 16, just became a sophomore.I love playing video games, being with my friend, and fighting.I'll tell you about the last part later on, but not now.

I thought this school year would be boring, oh how wrong I was.This high school I'm in, goes by the name of Legend High School.
