okay this comic edit(?) has been made a long time ago tbh. even before I changed themes this was already finished.

I got inspired to make this after coming across a tutorial on how to make this in instagram. this is actually my second attempt in making an edit like this. the first one was taeyong with a cherry bomb inspired typography I also make from scratch that got deleted before even saving the image :((

this basically inspired the whole track I decided to take with my new a bit unsettling film theme.

I made this cover for a friend (he's an irl friend, just thought I'd point this out) and he is writing this right now! It's written in Tagalog tho and I'm pretty sure it is a thriller and that's all I can give without spoiling the story too much because he pretty much has been asking for feedback regarding this story to us (me + other friends) before he even published it!

if you are interested in stories with darker themes and guessing games, I do suggest to give this a read and you can judge the rest! all you might need to find this story is in the cover!!

kay this was my second attempt in making my theme before settling in with what I currently have. this was really fun tbh! I cut out haechan myself before whipping this simple manip!

it is a pretty simple edit which was probably why I didn't end up making it my theme :(( which is a shame but we can try manips in the future again!

okay but this is a request in my shop but I also decided to put it here to talk more about it I guess XD. this cannot be seen as clear as this in my shop either so might aswell give y'all a closer version of it!

first of all I had to do a face swap (which I think I'm getting better at tbvh) and the hardest part was matching the hair color— so the model has this pretty white/silver hair and umji basically has black hair and to make things worst, she had bangs!!

changing the color initially was fairly simple (had to duplicate her head, then lighten her hair using the saturation, lightness, brightness and contrast settings) once I got a fairly decent hair color (that still retained at least some of the hair texture and stuff) I went in and erased the part of her face that got affected with the settings aswell. the hard part was the bangs.

erasing the skin areas around the bangs was difficult so ended up drawing over her bangs instead. it turned out okay so I also took the time to smoothen the transition between umji's hair and the model's.

that's the end of my fangirling over the process of this edit!!
