I feel the light hit my face and begin to wake up, my senses gradually returning. As I gain consciousness, I realize I'm in my room—my room in Hell. The oppressive heat and the eerie glow from the cracks in the walls confirm my location. "How the hell did I get here?" I mutter, groggy and confused, as I swing my legs over the edge of the bed and stand up. My heart races as I rush down the spiraling steps to the main hall.

"Dad?" I call out, my voice echoing off the stone walls. He stands with his back to me, the imposing figure of Lucifer himself. He turns slowly, his eyes cold and unyielding. "You're such a disappointment, you know that," he says, his voice devoid of any fatherly warmth.

The words hit me like a physical blow. "What?" I stammer, my voice trembling. As I try to step back, figures emerge from the shadows, surrounding me. Their faces are unfamiliar, yet their disdain is palpable.

"She's such a disgrace to the Morningstar name." "She really thinks she could rule." "So pathetic." "She doesn't deserve the Morningstar name." "She's too kind and soft." "She will never be strong enough to fulfill the prophecy."

Their voices overlap, a cacophony of condemnation that drowns out my thoughts. My vision blurs with unshed tears as I look around frantically. Suddenly, my brother, Landon, steps forward, his eyes filled with contempt. "I should have been the Chosen One, not her," he spits, his words laced with venom.

Tears prick my eyes as I cup my hands over my ears, trying to block out their cruel words. The ground beneath me begins to tremble, and cracks spiderweb out from my feet. With a deafening roar, the floor collapses, sending me plunging into a dark, bottomless pit.

I wake with a start, shooting out of bed and gasping for air, my body drenched in sweat. "It was just a dream," I whisper to myself, my voice shaking. I clutch at my sweat-soaked top, trying to steady my racing heart. When I finally get my heart rate down I hear a large crash from the main Entrance "What was that"  as I jump from my bed.
