3rd Person POV

"Camille Jester!" Lizzy snapped, "You may be a joker, but this isn't funny! You'll pay for this!"

"Not when I'm Queen!"

"Not gonna happen, Camille!" Kai called out, "We won't let you!"

The jester laughed, "Really? Is that so? This is my school, and we follow my rules and I can do whatever I want! If you really want to graduate and leave here, it's easy!" she giggled, pulling on some rope. Another bookshelf also opened, revealing a large scroll attached to the top. It unrolled, trailing all the way to the ground, and landing beside Camille's feet, "This contract stipulates that you've signed over all your rights as heiress to the Queen of Heart's throne - to me!"

Lizzy glared up at Camille, "Never!"

Camille simpered and handed her a pen, "It's a simple choice, Lizzy Hearts. You, and your friends can spend the rest of your lives here at school or...'voluntarily' sign...on the dotted line."

Lizzy stared between the contract and her new friends, "I...but...my friends will be free?"

Skylor shook her head rapidly, "Don't do it, Lizzy!"

"She'll become Queen of Wonderland!" Jay yelped.

"But, Jay, she'll let us go. If we stay here, we're doomed anyway."

Morro stepped forward, "Lizzy, listen to me. You have to be the Queen of Hearts! It's your....destiny!"

Lloyd smirked, "You're one to talk!"

The Rebel scratched the back of his neck sheepishly, "I know, I've never really been big on destiny, but look, sometimes following your heart and following your destiny are the same thing."

"Your heart has always been set on being the next Queen, Lizzy," Tox added, "You can't give up on it now!"

"How...heartfelt!" Camille sighed, before snapping, "Just. Sign. The contract!"

"I..." Lizzy seemed to have made up her mind, and dropped the contract, before snapping the pen in half, "I won't!"

Camille's face grew an evil grin, "Then you are condemned...to detention!"

The White Rabbit hopped up to Camille, "Uh, Vice Principle? Wonderland school rules say you cannot give them detention w-w-without a d-disciplinary trial at the school c-c-court."

Camille laughed maniacally (i now realise how perfect ultra violet would have been at the role of the jester-), "Why would I permit that?"

"Actually...it's your rule,"

"Is it? Well then, it must be followed." She placed a hand on her chin thoughtfully, "A trial will be a fun way to...find you guilty!" she laughed crazily, "Summon the witnesses! Prepare the court!" The Rabbit hopped away, and the guards followed behind, pushing the students along.

Ali: Meanwhile, back at Legacy High, Harumi was going to tell Headmaster Garmadon about her findings.

The blonde smirked as she strode towards the Headmaster's office. Briskly, she gave the door two sharp raps.

"Enter!"

Harumi entered the office, "Headmaster Garmadon? I'd hate to tell on fellow students, but I found out about something, and I just thought you had to hear about it!"

Garmadon sighed, massaging the bridge of his nose, "What is it, Miss Swan?"

"Well, I was passing the dorms, when I overheard Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Lloyd and Morro talking about going to Wonderland to retrieve the Book of Legends!" Garmadon scoffed at this, "Impossible! All the paths to Wonderland have been sealed off...except for the Well of Wonder...but you won't get there alive."

"That's what I thought too, but I overheard them talking about Nya-"

The headmaster snapped his fingers, "Of course! The glass slippers! But..they wouldn't work, the curse of the Evil Queen has forbidden the use of the born-and-bred residents, and power like the slippers. This has a bigger scheme behind it. Look around the school, and see what you can find. When they get back, I'll be waiting...the fairy tales must be saved!"

Ali: Okay, back to Wonderland!

"I have b-been appointed as your defence counsellor for the school court," the White Rabbit stuttered, "Now, hop along! We're very late!"

Skylor looked at one of the guards, "You gotta let us go! Please! Have a heart!"

"Can't have a heart, I'm diamonds,"

"Shuffle along now. Keep your face down, play your cards right, and maybe they'll cut you a deal." the Club Card spoke. 

Low murmurs from the courtroom arose as the eleven students were escorted in by the guards, led by the White Rabbit. Everyone craned their necks down to peer at them.

The group was stopped short, as a banister grew, lifting off the ground.

The gavel bangs on the platform as the Judge, who was a large caterpillar, seated himself, "Who are you?" he asked, staring down at the group.

Before anyone could speak, Lizzy stormed forward, "I am Lizzy Hearts! Daughter of the Queen of Hearts! And you are all in a lot of trouble!"

Instead of cowering away, everyone in the courtroom, except the eleven students, burst out laughing.

"If 'we' were in trouble, it stands to reason we would be on trial. And yet there you are! Therefore, it follows that you, and not we, are the ones in trouble. That's logic."

The audience laughed harder.

"Makes sense to me!" Jay shrugged.

"Who's side are you on?!" Lizzy snapped. Morro took over with the talking, "Your Honour. Uh...this is a misunderstanding."

"And what don't you understand?" The Judge asked calmly. Morro shook his head, "No, no! Not us! You! See, we came here by accident, and we aren't being allowed to graduate!"

"Why should you graduate when you've missed understanding? Understanding is the point of an education! And you've said yourself, you've missed it!"

"No!" Zane yelped, "You're twisting our words!" Seliel pushed past him, "This is all happening because of that...that...that horrible Camille Jester!"

The audience let out audible gasps, and the White Rabbit whimpered, his ears drooping. A door opened, and the sound of heel clicking could be heard. The White Rabbit straightened up, "All rise for her prosecutorial excellence, Camille Jester!"

"No need to rise on my account! She jumped onto the stands where the audience was perched, "I am but a humble public servant...with vast powers over each and every one of you!" Cackling, she cartwheeled and jumped onto the Judge's table, "So, where were we?"

The Caterpillar gestured at the students, "They've plead their case. I'm not convinced."

"What?" Cole yelped, "We hardly said anything!" Pixal looked down at the White Rabbit, "You are our counsellor! Aren't you supposed to be helping us?!"

The White Rabbit checked his pocket watch, "Yes...in time."

"Time for what?" Lloyd asked, looking confused.

"Time to read the charges!" Camille grinned as she jumped, and landed neatly in front of the convicts, "We, and by 'we' I mean 'I', the Vice Principle future Queen of Wonderland hereby charge these 11 with unruliness! If found innocent- yeah, no way, won't happen, they will be allowed to graduate. When found guilty, then it's detention for life, or...off with their heads! Whichever comes first! Once I'm Queen, I'm never going to get tired of saying that!"

"Call the first witness!" The Caterpillar ordered. A familiar figure marched up and took the stand.

"So, Scott Unagami, or The Red Knight, from what we understand, you caught these students while they were sneaking onto school property!"

"We weren't even students here!" Kai protested, only to be silenced.

"But of course you were students here because you were on school grounds! Isn't that the rule?"

Scott nodded, "That is, and I am duty bound to follow it. Rules are rules."

"When they recieved their class assignments, what did they do?" Camille challenged, smirking at the students.

"I guess they sorta sped off down the hallway."

"So you might say they were...running in the halls?"

"Technically...yes..."

"That's ridiculous!" Tox protested, "The halls were running, we were just standing on them!"

Camille fake-gasped, "And now you're talking back?! These students first sneaked onto school grounds, and then were seen running in the hallways and now they're talking back! One rule heedlessly broken after another! Can there be any doubt? These people are unruly!"

Shocked whispers ran amongst the court. The Judge banged his gavel on the platform, "Quiet in the court! How do you plead? Guilty? Or Extremely Guilty?"

The White Rabbit hopped forward, wearing a very confused expression on his face, "What? Guilty?"

"Very well then. Guilty as charged!"

"T-That's not what I meant!"

The grin on Camille's face just grew wider as The Caterpillar announced the sentencing, "Eternal detention...for life!"

"You'll have a hard time taking over Lizzy's destiny without the Storybook of Legends!" Tox challenged, smirking.

Ali: Tox, no!

"And my Mom, the Cheshire Cat, knows where it is! So there!"

Camille rushed up to them, "The Storybook of Legends? Here, in Wonderland?"

Ali: Dude, are your ears stuffed up? They've been yabbering on about it since last chapter!

The jester laughed, "Oh, how the plot thickens! Sorry Lizzy, the deal is off. I don't need you to sign the contract, I just need to sign your page in the Storybook of Legends and your destiny is mine!"

Camille grinned to herself as she stretched out in the chair in her office. She'd won.

She was going to be Queen.

"Red Knight, to my office at once!" she announced through the intercom. She took out a tube of lipstick and went over to the mirror on the wall, "Once I crash the Queen of Heart's birthday, I'll take the Storybook of Legends from the Cheshire Cat." she drew a crown on the mirror, and stood back, "We'll see who's grinning then!"

From inside the mirror, the Evil Queen laughed bitterly, "Scheme, my little fool! You have been quite a pleasant surprise. My own son may resist the call of evil, but you seem more than game."

"Dammit! The Cheshire Cat can turn invisible! How are my card tricks supposed to compete with that?"

The Evil Queen smirked, "Hmm, looks like you need a help from a hidden hand. My evil influence of course, speaks volume. Read little jester, read your fill. Then rule over Wonderland while I bend the world to my will." She cackled softly as she used her powers to knock a book from the shelf on the outside world.

Back with Camille, she jumped as she heard the book thud onto the ground, "What the..." she picked it up. It was black and purple, with silver engraved onto it, "A book of evil spells?" she opened it to the first page, "Property of the Evil Quee- Yes...Yes!" Looking up, she stared at the door, "Security cards!"

At once, two rushed in, "Yes, ma'am?"

"Time for you to prove your worth, I curse you now to crawl the Earth!" blue flames ignited in the palm of her hands, and she shot it at the two cards, who instantly shrunk.

"At your service, Miss Jester!" They squeaked, in high pitched voices. Camille giggled, "My own evil powers!"

"Ahem, you summoned me?" Camille looked up to see Scott standing in front of her. Quickly she jumped up and dusted herself off, "Ah, yes. Red Knight. The Queen of Heart's birthday party starts in half an hour. I am placing you in charge of the school until I return!"

"I...uh...yes ma'am! In charge!"

"You know my rules. You're not to break a single one of them!" she disappeared. Scott sighed, "Rules...are rules,"

The door opened and the eleven students were thrown into the room, before the door slammed shut. There was a donkey with a turtle body, asleep at the desk, snoring. He stirred for a moment, before waking up, "I am the Mock Turtle. Do not mock me for I am as every bit as good as a real turtle. This is detention. There is no escape." he went back to sleeping.

Seliel shuddered at the sight of the room, "Quick, he's asleep, let's go now!"

They crept towards the door and opened it. Well, that was easy!

Actually...maybe not. They went through the door as normal...

...only to walk back into the same room.

"How?! We're right back where we started!" Kai gripped his hair. They went through the door again, only to walk back into the detention room.

"There's no way out!" Skylor yelped, staring at the door.

Morro looked at the floor, "I'm sorry, guys. I shouldn't have read that spell. I shouldn't have bought us to Wonderland. We should have just left the Storybook of Legends here and not have brought it up."

"My mother..." Lizzy murmured, "I can't save her from Camille,"

A hole in the ground formed, and the White Rabbit jumped out, "Oh dear, oh dear oh dear oh dear! I've made things much more worse!" he knocked into a metallic statue, and fell to the ground. Sitting up, he winced and rubbed his head, only to see that it wasn't a statue, but the White Knight. Panicking, he explained the situation.

"The students are in eternal detention!"

"And...the Jester?" The White Knight inquired in a deep voice.

The White Rabbit bounced up to try and reach the Knight's height, which was extended due to the fact that they were on a horse, "Camille is on her way to the Queen's party to find the Storybook of Legends and use it to take over Wonderland!" he finally managed to jump and land on the horse's head, "Can you stop her?"

"We won't rest until they're outta there, I promise!" They spoke solemnly, clenching their fist.

Back in Detention, the group had given up trying to escape, and were just slumped in the seats, standing around, or wondering through the room. The clock ticked and Lizzy gasped, "My mother's birthday party starts in a few minutes! Have we tried everything?"

"I would teleport out of here to get help, but my powers don't work!" Tox huffed.

"This could take a hundred years!" Skylor wailed. Jay lifted his hand off his chin, "Chin up, Skylor, you could sleep right through it!" Skylor simply facepalmed at this.

"All right, we just need to calm down, and think through this logically," Lloyd explained, "Maybe there's something in this room that could...help us escape? Or give us a clue!" he stood up.

Everyone stood up too, and rummaged through the room, only to find nothing. They all panic, their voices overlapping each others.

Ali: And so, the students spent their first full minute in detention. If only I can do more than push books around.

Tox looked up, "You can push books? That's perfect!" Everyone stared at her in confusion.

"Um...who is she talking to?" Cole asked confusedly. Lizzy giggled, "She thinks she can talk to the narrator, just like Violet."

"Yeah, right,"

Ali: THEY CAN!!!!!!!!!!!

"Quiet in class if you please! I am trying to communicate with our friend! Narrator? We need your help!"

Ali: Narrators have rules to, y'know, plus, I don't know how.

Tox gasped as her eye caught onto something. She raced up to it, "Look! A teacup drawing!" She looked around, "And another one! It's over there too! And there! That's it!" She pointed at the corner of the drawing, where the letters MH had been written, "That's Violet's dad's initials! He used to be in detention all the time! In fact he was famous for getting out!"

Zane frowned, "You mean..getting into, right?"

"Nope! Getting out!"

Kai perked up, "So there is a way of getting out! But no one even knows to look for us in here."

Ali: I should probably let you know...Harumi and Headmaster Garmadon know you're missing, and are searching for ways to bring you back.

"Well, someone knows you guys are missing!" Tox informed them, grinning, "They're finding ways to bring you guys back!"

Pixal sighed in relief, "Must be Nya. She got forgotten back at Legacy High, so she's probably trying to find ways to get us out of here!"

Tox opened her mouth to speak, only to be cut off by Kai cheering, "Oh, I love my little sis!"

Sighing, she looked back into the air, "Ali, if you can push a book, then I have an idea!"

She wandered off, and Morro stared after her confusedly, as she starting pulling books off shelves

Back at Legacy High, Harumi searched through books on Wonderland. She'd enlisted Akita, Violet, Nelson, Antonia and Griffin for help.

"They couldn't have just vanished from the world!" Nelson called out, rummaging through shelves.

"But we looked everywhere," Antonia sighed. Suddenly, a book drops out from the air, and lands with a thud. More books fall to the ground, opening to certain pages. Griffin scratched the back of his neck, "Well that was weird,"

Akita frowned, "Look, each page has an illuminated letter. These letters must spell out a message!" She ran as she read each page, "Morro's spell to Wonderland did fly. In a Mock Turtle's dungeon at Wonderland High! Seek help from a Tea and Hats guy..."

Violet gasped, "This is ridlish! I think they're trying to send us a message! It must be Tox!"

"What does it mean?" Harumi asked, pushing Griffin out of the way.

Violet grinned, "Morro's spell sent them to Wonderland and they're in detention, and we need to talk to-"

"SHHHH! This is a library! Are you mad as a hatter?!" Krux and Acronix, the twin librarians appeared out of nowhere, before sinking away. Violet grinned, "It's time to pay Dad a visit-"

"SHHHH!"

"Oh, now that is hilarious!" The Mad Hatter grinned, holding a teapot, "Our own students, in Wonderland? Boy, Garmadon would be mad!"

He chattered on, tea cups landing in front of the students neatly, with more cups of tea piling on top. Harumi growled, "Cut to the chase, Mr Hatter. How do they get out?"

"That's easy! There's a Wonderland High rule that not many people know about! In fact...I don't know! You see, I have a memory problem; I forget!"

"Well...I know a memory game that could help..." Griffin suggested, "Just say the first word that pops in your head!"

"Foot! Oh, I like this game!"

"Jabber..."

"Walking!"

"Escape..."

"Tea-cape!"

"De-ten-shun..."

"Tea-iddlywinks!" he gasped, "That's it! Tiddlywinks!"

"Tiddlywinks?!" Morro asked, "You mean like the game?"

Tox nodded, "That's what she said he said! Tiddlywinks will free you!" At this, the Mock Turtle's eyes sprang open, "Oh! A challenge! It has been so long! An obscure school rule, if you declare a challenge and then pass the proficiency test, you are released from detention!" He poured some rainbow coloured counters from a tin, onto his desk. Jay smirked, "I win at Tiddlywinks, we get out?"

"Actually, any type of combat. The acting Vice Principle today is the Red Knight, so that would be swords. What fun!" He pulled a lever, which sent an alarm around the school. One of the walls opened up, and everything flowed towards the fall. They landed in a heap in a fenced in bush. 

"Challenge! Challenge! Challenge!" They looked up to see several students rushing over, and standing around the edges, grinning and cheering.

"What's going on?" Skylor asked.

"A challenge," Tox deadpanned. A neat rectangle was cut into the hedge by a sword, and the Red Knight burst in, "As acting Vice Principle, the rules decree that I must battle you!"

Just next to the group of eleven, a messy, uneven circle was cut through the hedges, and the White Knight jumped in, "Then you know the rules allow a champion to take their place!" They demanded, pointing their sword at Scott. The White Knight turned to the group, "Go! Find the Queen of Hearts and save her! Find the Book of Legends! I'll handle this, go!"

The students grinned and rushed out. The White Rabbit held out his pocket watch, "We're not too late! Follow me!" They ran out, and Pixal flashed a glance behind her, to see the Red Knight battling the White Knight.

They followed the rabbit to a bush trimmed to look like a teapot, "Quickly now, down the rabbit hole! There's not a moment to lose!" He tapped the glass screen on his watch, and it glowed, as did the top of the bush, before disappearing.

"I'll go ahead. Cheshire Cats travel light!" Tox grinned, "And always with a smile!" The sparks flew and she disappeared.

Ali: One by one, Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Morro, Lloyd, Skylor, Pixal, Seliel and Lizzy jumped into the hole, followed by the White Rabbit, and left the White Knight to battle Scott. They were on their way to Her Majesty's palace where Camille was planning to steal the throne and rule Wonderland.

So, exciting news! We have Chapter 16, 17 and the Epilogue left of this, at least that's the plan.

I also have another AU coming out! It's called Revolution, and it's split into two parts. Yes, it's based off Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2, so yeah! Here's the cover picture, if y'all wanna see

The introduction part is already out, now I'm just gonna go write a Prologue and publish that, and just watch YT for the night. This chapter took way too long!
