Chapter 10
3rd Person POV
Ali: Legacy Day! It's finally here, and all the students were getting ready for the big evening! The event would start with a speech made by Headmaster Garmadon, and then one by one, everyone would come up to the Storybook of Legends and sign! However...this one may be different. As you recall...Morro threw down the original Storybook of Legends down the Well of Wonder, and replaced it with a fake. Pixal saw the vision, but couldn't tell who it was, as their face was covered. The Well of Wonder is the only seal left open, just to let some of the Wonderland Magic in. It could be used as a teleport from our world to Wonderland, but the high-powered water, and all the manic twists and turns would ensure you'd turn up anything but alive!
Skylor lightly dusted some blush across her cheeks, whilst ranting to Nya about Harumi. Nya was casually sitting there, nodding along to everything, but in reality her mind was split. Should she sign? Should she rebel?
On the other side of the dorm buildings, Kai was applying a coat of hair gel to his spikes, and Zane was secretly oiling his gears. Like Pixal, he hadn't told anyone about him not being a human...except Pixal.
Kai grins as he mimes writing his signature, "I can't wait to sign the Book!"
"Or...can you not wait to get out to the public?" Zane asked, slipping the oil tank away.
"...I can be excited about both. What about you, Zane?"
"Well, I'm excited too, and I already have my eyes on someone to rule alongside me, but I don't know if she'll say yes," Zane sighed, thinking about the girl who had captured his heart.
Ali: Ooh! Pixal!!
The brunette tweaked the cuffs on his suit, "Well, do you want me to ask her for you? What's her name?"
"I'm not telling you!"
"Oh come on! Please!"
"Nope!"
"GAH!"
In another dorm, Lloyd was staring into his mirror, fiddling with his crown. Morro appeared beside him, and grinned.
"Aren't you gonna do the whole 'Mirror Mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all' thing?"
The blonde prince nudged the raven playfully, "I thought that was your line!"
"Technically it was my mother's line!"
Lloyd laughed, "Right! I'm gonna check in with Skylor and Nya. You coming?"
Morro stood up, "Yeah, sure!"
The two left their dorm, and headed to the one just opposite, and knocked on the door. A shout of 'Come in!' was heard from the other side.
They entered the room and Morro grinned at the two princesses who were making the final tweaks, "You guys look awesome!"
Skylor smiled, "Thanks! You too,"
Lloyd looked around, "So...which of the many identical shoes are you gonna wear tonight, Midget?"
Nya held up two pairs in either arm, "I'll have you know that this one's a seashell tinted glass, and this one's an oyster tinted glass!" she huffed.
"How's the line order gonna go?" Skylor asked, fixing the tiara on her head.
"I think it's by alphabetical order," Morro responded. Nya came back out, adjusting the gown, "And this is why I hate dresses!"
"Well I can already tell today is gonna go wonderfully!" Skylor sighed, "Should we go? Kai and I were planning on meeting up."
Nya snuck her heels off, replacing them with trainers, "You guys go on ahead, I said I'd meet with Jay, Cole and Seliel,"
"Gotcha! Also, you might wanna take the heels with you," Morro added, before following Lloyd and Skylor out the door.

"Okay, in terms of hair, that's the best I could do," Seliel murmured, as Jay stared at his reflection. His hair had been patted down neatly, but it sprung up to it's curly mess. The girl groaned, "I give up!"
Pixal laughed, as she fixed her hair. Her eyes fell upon the photo frame, and she frowned. She still hadn't told anyone about the vision she'd seen. Maybe now was a good time to do so.
"Hey guys-" she was cut off by a knock on the door. Jay stood up and jumped around excitedly, "That'll be Nya!"
And sure enough, it was her. Jay swept her up into a hug, grinning, "Glad you could make it! And...are you wearing trainers?"
"Just for now," she assures him, "I'll switch them out later,"
"Hey, Sel, what do you think of-" Cole came out of the bathroom, adjusting his tie. He looked up, and did a double-take when he saw his girlfriend, "Woah! You look...beautiful!"
Seliel thanked him with a kiss, before greeting Nya with a hug.
"We ready to go?" Pixal asked. She'd wait till after Legacy Day to tell them.
"Sure!" Jay and Nya ran ahead, hand in hand, and Cole and Seliel were next to them, their arms linked. Pixal smiled softly at the two couples. She was about to join them, when she felt someone tap her shoulder. She turned to see Zane, smiling at her, "Hi! So I was wondering...do you want to walk down with me?"
Pixal smiled, "I'd love to!"
Zane tentatively took her hand. Pixal blushed and they walked down the corridor.
"I have a game," Pixal spoke up, "a challenge, if you will. We have to recite the first line of nindroid's code as fast as we can!"
Zane smirked, "You're on!"
Ali: 3...2...1...

"Who won that?" Pixal panted. The two of them were out of breath and had dorky grins on their faces.
"No idea!" Zane breathed, "But that was fun!"
"Wanna do it again?"
"Yes!"
Ali: Oh boy! Let's see what Kai and Skylor are up to!

Kai grinned when he saw his girlfriend running towards him, "There's my girl!"
He picked her up, lightly throwing her in the air, before putting her down, "You look gorgeous!"
"As do you, as do you,"
Kai offered her his arm, "M'lady,"
Laughing, Skylor accepted, and the two walked along to the podium, where citizens, parents and teachers were seating themselves. A large mirror had been wheeled out for Morro's mother. She was banished to the Mirror Kingdom so she wouldn't cause any harm.
The podium had been decked out with flower garlands, screens and lights. Upon the stage, the Storybook of Legends was rested on the stand. Cameras were pointed at every angle of the stage, as this was going to be live broadcasted.
Ali: Oh no-
The seats were grouped into two sides, with a long carpet down the middle.
Once the place was filled, trumpets started playing, as Headmaster Garmadon headed up onto the stage. He adjusted the mic, and cleared his throat, "Good Evening, all! As you can tell, it is officially Legacy Day!"
Cheers emitted from the crowds, and Garmadon continued speaking, "We are all here today, to watch our students pledge and sign off their destinies, and follow in their fairy tail footsteps. But first, a little history..."
Ali: Okay, this is getting boring. What are the students up to?
Everyone was huddled together, trying to get a peak of the stage. Nya had switched back into her heels, and Pixal and Zane were reciting the nindroid's code, trying to come up with a winner. Akita Badwolf was standing by the stairs. Her name was first on the register, so she'd go first, followed by Antonia, Skylor, Kai, Nya, Griffin, and so on.
Jay and Nya approached Kai and Skylor, "So! How's everyone doing?" Jay asked. Skylor peeked out at the crowd, before jerking her head back, "Okay, maybe I'm not prepared. The place is way more crowded than I thought!"
"Not to mention, it's live all over!" Nya added, her grip on Jay's hand tightening. Lloyd ran up to the two couples, "It's starting!"
"Now, without further ado, I know you're all excited to witness this magical event, so let's begin! First, we have...Akita Badwolf!"
The crowd cheered as the Rebel made her way onto the stage. She approached the stand, and took a deep breath, "I am Akita Badwolf, daughter of the Bad Wolf, and I am ready to pledge my destiny!"
As practised, she held out her hand, half expecting the key to appear. But it didn't. Frowning, she cleared her throat and tried again.
"I am Akita Badwolf, daughter of the Bad Wolf, and I am ready to pledge my destiny!"
Still nothing. The audience started murmuring among themselves. Garmadon came onto the stage, confused.
Cedar stood, with her glasses, watching everything go down. There was something special about her glasses; they were revealing rays. She gasped, as the glasses notified her of something. They zoomed in on the book, revealing it to be a fake.
Without hesitating, she pushed past the other students and ran up onto the stage, "Sir! Sir!"
"Miss Wood! Wait your turn!" Garmadon hissed. Cedar ran and took the book off the stand, "This isn't the real Storybook of Legends! It's a fake!"
So, my lovely readers!
We are almost at the part where things go...kablooey!
If y'all have already watched the show, you'll understand what I'm saying. Everyone else, just smile and wave, bois, smile and wave!
So, Legacy High is inspired by Ever After High. It's a combination of Legacy Day, Thronecoming, Way Too Wonderland, and a little bit of True Heart's Day (with the whole Jaya plot).
I might add a 'Dragon Games' plot to it as well, I might not. Let's see!
But, yeah!
Okie, bai!
Love, Ali <3
