A girl was currently falling down and heading straight towards drachen at an incredible speed

He immediately stopped as they both collided with each other

As they did the person turned towards him

"What the?!who are you?!"asked the girl

"I'm drachen I live here"he answered calmly

"Okay drachen,I'd love to talk to you more but I think we have higher priorities such as the fact we are seemingly falling from the sky!"she shouted

Drachen nodded as he made a portal underneath the girl and near the ground and pushed her inside while also creating another one for him and doing the same thing

She emerged from the reverse side as she rose up from the ground and landed on pile of spoiled food while he landed on his feet due to being used to it

Immediately after landing,the girl held her mouth before turning away and puking

"Ooh"

The girls was breathing unsteadily as she turned to him

"Thank you...but please I would appreciate if you do not put me through this portal again"she said as she steadily got up while taking a look around her surroundings with a look of shock

"Is this the famed pit of the world split?an oversized junkyard?"she asked sounding more disappointed than surprised

Drachen didn't really know what to say as he stood there awkwardly

"And you live here?"she asked as he nodded

"How?how do you manage to sustain yourself?"she asked me

"I ate the food that was dropped from the sky obviously"he stated like it was obvious

"What?! you've been eating trash all your life?"she asked him as he nodded

"Wow..."she said as she seemed a bit absent

Drachen got a good look at her,she had black hair with blue underlines to it,golden eyes that could be mistaken for gold,a quite large chest as well as being taller than him with his head arriving at the height of her chest

"I completely forgot why I was here which leads me to ask"

"Yes?"

"Have you ever seen a dragon around these parts?a really big and extremely powerful looking one?"she asked

"Uh... not really? I've heard of dragons but I have never ever seen one"he responded

The girl started thinking to herself as she was confused

'this doesn't make sense though,they said there was an extremely powerful dragon nesting here'

"How long have you been living here?"

"Ever since I was born"

"And you've NEVER seen a dragon,wait don't you have parents with you?"she asked

Drachen shook his head

"Do you know how you ended up here?"she asked me

"I remember being told by my grandfather that I was dropped from the very top and down"he explained

"Grandfather?"she asked

"Yeah, although he died five years ago..."

"Oh...my condolences"

"It's alright"

She then looked up back to the top and back to drachen

"So you said you're alone right?"

"Yes"

"Hmm...say,do you want to get out this place?"she asked

"What?"

"This junkyard, aren't you sick of it?"

Drachen nodded

"A little yeah..."

"Then let's make a deal,I will take you out of this dump if you become my companion"

Drachen's eyes lit up

"Really?!what does a companion do?"

"We travel with each other far and wide to new places and take on all kinds of challenges together"

"That's all you had to say! I'M IN!!"he confirmed without hesitation

"Really? immediately?"she asked

"I was told if I was ever given the opportunity to get out of here,so let's do it!"he responded ecstatically

"Wow,nice to know! alright then,if you have anything you want to do before leaving,now is the time"she said as drachen nodded and immediately ran back to his house and opened his door to an empty armor placed on a chair as if sitting on it,he checked to see if it was well placed or that if it wouldn't fall and sat down for a bit

"I'm off now grandpa,hope you're watching cause I'll be traveling to places even you have never been to and I'll be the one to tell you all about them"he said before he got back up,closed the door and ran back to the girl

"Okay I'm ready"he said

"Alright then"

"So how are we going to get up?"he asked

She joined her hands together as a trail of pink mist was coming from them as she started doing weird movements

"I suggest you come as close to me as possible"she said as drachen obliged

She then tapped the ground with her hands as a sphere began to cover them through several layers taking on the form of a rose as it rapidly started to ascend as the two weren't really feeling the weight of it

"Wow this is amazing!"

"I can do a whole lot more than that, I've been learning these sort of things for a long time"she said

"Why didn't you use this when you were falling down earlier?"he asked

She didn't say anything mainly because she didn't want to admit she didn't think of it while she was falling

"Oh I see,you wanted to see if I had what it takes for me to join you right?"he asked innocently

"O-of course!why else"

"That's awesome"he said while looking out the bubble and into the ever expending junkyard of the cracks which he never got to truly see as he was always looking up whenever he'd try to get up

"Oh right,I never gave you my name didn't I"she said

"Nope"

"Well then,my name is seralia akumashii,but call me Sarah"she introduced herself as right in time we had seemingly reached the top and the ball landed on the ground

And I was immediately entranced by what I was seeing

Beautiful green hills full of green grass contrary to the even rare yellow grass he'd find

Little critters flying around with animals also present

Drachen's legs couldn't take it as he was now on his knees from the shock

"Don't breakdown just yet, this isn't even the beginning"she said as she walked ahead

"This is a new start to your life,an infinite amount of possibilities have opened themselves to you

Now then drachen

Let's head off onto our new adventure together,what do you say?"

Drachen smiled as he got up

"YES!!"

And so began the journey of a lifetime for drachen,one he would never forget
