I'm back here. I...don't know why. I hate this place. It's scary. But I just HAD to come here. Even after Baby's warning.
Baby....Was she the reason?
I shook the thought away as the elevator hit the floor. I quickly went through each room and literally sped to Baby's room. I punched that light button in the face LIKE A BOSS! (I'm not a septiplier shipper. What are you talking about?) I looked around frantically, only to not see her there.
"Baby? Helloooo?"
It was silent. I didn't like it.
I stood there looking around. There was no sign of the red-haired robot. Two hands grabbed my shoulders and shook me.
"Boo!"
"AHHHHHHHH!"
I heard a small thump and shakily turned around to see Baby laughing on the floor. Seeing her smile made my mouth curve into the same.
My heart felt warm. Like any coldness that was there had left. Why did her smile make me feel this way? Her laugh was like music, soft and lively, but strong and confidant. What is this feeling?
Baby giggled softly as she stood.
"It's nice to see you again, Mark."
"Same here Baby. But did you have to give me a heart attack? You could have waited by the window."
Her smile grew wider. Oh how I loved that smile.
"Where's the fun in that? It was boring."
I gave a chuckle.
"I guess it cou-"
A gloved hand clamped over my mouth. I tried to speak, but Baby gave a soft slap to my arm. I looked slightly down at her, she was scanning the area. Before I could react, I was pushed under the desk. Baby's feet were in front of my hiding spot. I was about to speak but her foot moved back and touched my leg as if to say 'shut up'. I kept quiet as the door opened. I was able to see it for a brief moment. A jumble of wires like the endoskeleton. The face was almost like a human, but one having one red pupil. It's smile was like it was made there, which it most likely was.
Wait a second.
Every animatronic had the same face. They were robots meant to always have a smile, being they were made for entertainment. But I was looking at Baby. Her face had a frown. Her eyebrows furrowed and anger glinting in those green eyes. Now that I think about it, she's been the only one to show emotion.
"What do you want Ennard?"
Her words were harsh, like she wanted to jump on it and tear this it apart. 'Ennard' raised his 'hands' up.
"Calm down Baby. You don't need to get fussy."
"Stop saying that! I'm different from you and you know it!"
Different? I knew that, but how?
"Oh, Baby, we all know. We know everything, even your little secret."
"What secret?"
"You know, that little one you're hiding from, what's his name? Mark, was it?"
I tensed up, and I could tell Baby did too. She was hiding something from me.
"I-I don't know w-what you're talking a-about."
Ennard carefully walked forward, taking advantage of Baby's hesitation. It grabbed her by the frilly collar, and threw her to the window. It surprisingly didn't break, but when she slid down, the glass was cracked. Baby seemed momentarily dazed, just enough time for Ennard to come again and throw her right in front of the desk. Her eyes shone pain and she was heavily breathing.
Wait what. BREATHING?!
She stood up, or tried to at least. She put most of her weight on the table, and I could tell. Ennard was coming for another attack, so when he was less than a foot from the table, I came out and punched him square in the face. I groaned at the pain from the metal but he seemed unfazed. I felt a push and Baby had pushed me to the side. Before I even hit the ground, she round-house kicked him and he went flying into the wall. She grabbed my hand and whispered
"We're taking a short cut."
She took off and ran through Ballora's room. Rather than left, she took a right and there was a ladder.
"Climb."
Her words came out quickly, showing the urgency of the command. I climbed up as quickly as I could. There was a trapdoor on the top with a lock. Without me asking she said
"2, 1, 2, 2, 4"
I pressed in the numbers and the hatch opened. I got up and she did as well. I looked down and saw Ennard trying to climb up. Baby slammed the door shut, making the room pitch black. I could only see Baby's bright green eyes and heard our heavy breathing. Her eyes moved somewhere else, then disappeared. She must have faced another direction. A light suddenly flickered on, making me cover my eyes. When they got used to it, my eyes traveled to Baby. She was leaning on the wall and sitting down.
"Oh my god."
Baby was...
