Elsie sat on Cassian's bed as she looked at his collection of CDs and cassette tapes.

Elsie set a CD aside, "So, you have Vixen..."

Cassian asked, "Do you not like all girl rock bands?"

"I think my dad described them as an all female Bon Jovi," Elsie said.

Cassian asked, "You haven't listened to Vixen before?"

"I have listened to them," Elsie defended herself. She looked at the open bedroom door. Vivian kept walking by, probably to make sure that they weren't having sex, which is why she had the door open. She wasn't an idiot. She knew about condoms because her grandparents drilled safe sex in her head because they didn't want her to become Lorelai 2.0 by going out to get pregnant at sixteen.

It wasn't the ideal date that Elsie had in mind with Vivian practically spying on them.

However, Cassian seemed excited when Elsie asked about the bands that he had on his vest. They had been making out and Elsie noticed a patch that simply said Helloween and she asked about it. So, Cassian said that he was going to 'educate' her on the bands and Elsie said 'it's a date.' Now, here she was, getting 'educated' on it in a dress and cardigan, with burgundy leggings, and combat boots. She wore her locket, the bracelet Cassian got her for her birthday and the bracelet that Rory got Elsie for their birthday.

For some reason, Elsie felt like she couldn't part with Rory's bracelet.

Elsie looked at Cassian, who was looking at her. "My dad had me listen to Love Is a Killer and Edge of a Broken Heart."

"Actually, I was looking at you because you're beautiful," Cassian told her.

Elsie's face turned red, "Oh."

"But those two songs are like their well-known songs," Cassian told her.

Elsie rolled her eyes, "Anyway, I heard of Vixen." She looked at another CD, "Within Temptation?"

"Dutch symphonic band formed in..." Cassian started, looking like he was thinking of it, "In 1996, I think." He took the CD from her and looked at it. "I think they have another album coming out this December." He got up from the floor, (he was sitting next to Elsie's legs, which were over the side of the bed) and went to play the album that Elsie looked at it.

Vivian walked by.

Cassian asked, "How about you join us?" He sounded amused.

"No, no," Vivian replied. "You two enjoy your date."

Cassian said, "Well, then can you stop being a creep by making sure we're not having sex? That's why the door is open."

Vivian made a face, "That's not what I'm doing."

Cassian asked, "Then what are you doing?"

"Listening to what you're listening too," Vivian said, before continuing on.

Cassian called after her, "Then why don't you join us if you want to listen to my music so badly?"

They didn't get a response and Elsie busted out laughing.

After the date, Cassian drove her home. Before she can get out of the car, he said, "So, how may I tell you goodnight?"

Elsie looked at him, a little baffled by the question, before saying, "Any way you want to."

Cassian asked, "May I?"

"You may," Elsie replied, a little amused.

Cassian kissed her.

The rest of the month seemed to fly by pretty quickly, it seemed. Rory and Elsie made brief small talk in passing, but that was about it. Elsie did notice that Rory had silver thread on the buttons on her blazer. When Elsie pointed it out, Rory had said she used silver to set her apart from 'the crowd'.

Sure they talked to each other, but Elsie was sure that they were still far from becoming 'sisters'. She wouldn't even consider Rory a friend, maybe an aquaintance, but not a friend, but definitely not a sister.

It seemed less tense, but Elsie knew that things were still far from 'mended fences' between the two.

The Halloween party was in full swing when Elsie walked in. She spotted Skye who was dressed like Ghostface, at least with the mask on top of her head, and a black cloak that she wore as a dress with black platform shoes. Pepper was dressed as a female version of Freddy Krueger with make up to make one side of her face look burnt, though she wore short-shorts and ripped fishnet tights. Vivian was dressed like Annie Wilkes from Stephen King's Misery, complete with sledge hammer and rolled up paper as the manuscript. Vivian even styled her hair like Annie Wilkes's.

She went to her friends.

"You look hot," Skye told her.

"Thanks," Elsie replied. "I spotted at leave ten people who didn't dress up. At least, if they did, they picked the non-villains."

"Doesn't matter," Skye said, looking at the crowd. "Who cares?"

Some would probably think it was weird that Skye practically held parties week after week, but it wasn't that weird because Skye's parents were barely home. She usually went to Tristan's home because she didn't like being home alone. Sometimes Tristan stayed with her at her house, but that was because he wanted to hook up with girls and not have his parents know.

"I see Lindsay," Skye said and put the mask on before heading towards the girl.

"Use the voice!" Elsie called after her.

"Who are you supposed to be?"

That was Dugray.

"Elvira," Elsie replied.

Dugray eyed her, "You don't look anything like her."

"I didn't want to wear a dress that was too revealing," Elsie replied.

Dugray asked, "Not even for your boyfriend?"

"Not even for him," Elsie replied. "Don't you have anyone else to go bother?"

"Your sister's not here," Dugray replied. "So...has she ever mentioned me?"

"Nope," Elsie replied. "If she has, it's not to me." She turned to leave Dugray, because she spotted Cassian, dressed like Michael Myers, except for the leather jacket her wore, walking in with Anthony, who was dressed as Chucky from Child's Play.

She went over to greet them.

"You look beautiful," Cassian said, greeting Elsie with a kiss.

Anthony rolled his eyes, but he was smiling, because at least they finally their shit together and got together.

"Vivian's somewhere over there," Elsie told Anthony, because the guy hasn't picked up his balls and asked Vivian out yet despite the fact that Elsie got together with Cassian. Sort of. They've gone on two dates, but they haven't said if they were boyfriend and girlfriend.

Anthony went to Vivian and Elsie went to get some spiked punch. She got a cup and handed one to Cassian.

He shook his head, "Not after last year when I decided to walk home. I remember passing out in the front lawn and waking up to a fireman kicking me saying that they keep getting calls about a dead body. My parents weren't happy when they came home to that mess." His parents had gone out of town to some event the night before. Apparently they came home early to find a fireman kicking their drunken son.

Elsie asked, "Who calls the firemen about a potential dead body?"

Cassian shrugged, "Don't know. I had bruises on my torso from that though."

Elsie went out back to the gazebo to cool off because it started getting hot in the house. She sat on the bench in the gazebo and regretted not bringing her peacoat out with her. She did take her saddle bag with her.

Cassian came out with his leather jacket and joined her on the bench. He put his leather jacket around her shoulders, "There. You look cold."

"Thanks," Elsie said, putting the jacket on. She moved to sit a little closer to him.

"Kind of weird, thinking about how twenty nights ago, we made out in this gazebo," Cassian stated.

Elsie snickered, "Yeah." She opened her saddle bag. "Here, I got you Slipknot." She handed him the CD. She mentioned it and to her surprise, Cassian had said that he hadn't listened to them. So, Elsie mentioned that she would loan him her CD of them to listen to.

"Thanks," Cassian said, taking the CD.

Elsie nodded and grabbed his hand. "May I be your girlfriend?"

"You may," Cassian replied with a smile, squeezing her hand in return.
