"Danny, I did it... I really did it!" Jessica comes running into her apartment with her arms in the air. A smile went across her face and her eyes sparkled.

Danny sat up from the couch and gave Jessica a big grin. "I'm guess your first day at the new job went well." Danny stands up and rushes over to Jessica.

Jessica puts her hands on his shoulders and nods, breathlessly. "It went more then well. This is it, Danny. I never thought id get here but I did."

Danny pulls Jessica closer to him and passionately kisses her. "Baby, I'm so proud of you."

"Who knew id be the head of a writing department... for a big time magazine company." Jessica giggles

"I knew, Jessica."

"I love you! I love you! I love you, I love you!"

Jessica finished her first day with her new promotion. It felt so refreshing, and Jessica was in love with the job... even on her first day. Now that mark was gone Jessica was able to do things her way... her way was a way that everyone would like.

"The rush I got sitting in my spiny chair today was a rush I haven't had in a long time!" Jessica says

"You're so cute."

Jessica kisses Danny's cheek then blushes.

"I say we celebrate with a nice glass of wine." Jessica walks into the kitchen and pulls out two glasses.

"Stop right there, I'm already a few steps ahead of you." With one hand Danny reaches for Jessica's hand, and with the other he covers her eyes. He slowly begins to guide her to the outside patio.

"Danny, where are you taking me?" She whispers

"Not that far, babe. Just keep your eyes closed."

Danny slides open the sliding door then slowly moves his hands away from Jessica's eyes. She still kept them shut.

"Honey, you can open now." He whispers

"I'm scared!"

"Don't be."

Jessica slowly opens her eyes. In front of her stood a small dinner table with a white cloth over top of it. Two glasses of red wine stood on opposite sides. There was a candle that lit up the table and a bouquet of roses. Danny turned on the outdoor party lights that lit up Jessica's patio. The view of the city seemed even more perfect than ever before.

"You did all this, for me?" Jessica says

Danny picks up the bouquet of flowers and nods. "Yes."

"This is so sweet, I love it."

"I'm so proud of you. You're gonna do great things."

Jessica's Birthday //

Danny and Jessica laid in bed together and didn't care to wake up early as usual. It was a Saturday, all they wanted to do was stay in each other's arms.

"Happy Birthday, Jessie." Danny whispers into her ears

"Hmmm, Thank you." She hums. She shifts her body so she can face Danny. With her finger she plays with Danny's curls and smiles.

"Are you ready to celebrate the big ol two-five?"

"You really didn't just refer to my age as the 'big ol two-five.'." Jessica giggles

"Oh you know I did."

Jessica rolls her eyes then kisses Danny's nose. "I'm ready."

Jessica and Danny had a calm morning. They started off by having breakfast and coffee at the apartment then taking a walk through the park. It was a late start to the day but they didn't mind.

Once it became later in the evening Jessica and Danny were going to go over Sarah and Evan's so they could all carpool to the restaurant for Jessica's birthday dinner.

While they waited for an uber Danny and Evan shared a conversation in the living room while Sarah was still trying to pick out what to wear.

Jessica sat on the bedside watching Sarah go back and forth from one outfit to another.

"God damn, I look disgusting in everything. Maternity clothes are horrible!" Sarah says

"Sarah, you look beautiful. Don't get all down on yourself." Jessica says

Sarah covers her face and immediately begins to sob. "I don't feel beautiful! I still have a few weeks left of this pregnancy... I don't think I can handle it."

Jessica stands up and hugs Sarah and tight as possible. "But it's all worth it because you'll have your baby in your arms before you know it."

Sarah starts to cry even more, startling Jessica. "But see, I'm so scared! I'm not ready for this baby!"

"Oh honey, but you are."

Sarah wipes her tears then looks up at Jessica. "You really think so?"

"Sarah, I know! I'm your best friend, I know everything, remember?"

Sarah nods then starts to chuckle "I'm just so damn emotional! My god I'm sorry Jessie. Thank you for everything."

"Aww, sarah!"

As Sarah goes to smile she hunches over and grabs ahold of her stomach. She hisses in pain and squints her eyes.

"Oh my god, Sarah are you okay?" Jessica says

"Just a little pain... I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes! Just Braxton Hicks!"

"Okay... if you're sure."

Once the pain goes away sarah takes a deep breath then looks into Jessica's eyes  "But Jess... I need to talk to you."

"Okay, What is it?"

"Evan and I would really like it if you were in the room when our baby is born." Sarah takes Jessica's hands and begins to tear up as Jessica does the same.

"You're kidding me?"

"No! I want you to be there!"

"Sarah, of course! Of course I'll be there!"

"I love you, you know that right?"

"Of course, I know you do! And I love you too!"

"So you wouldn't be mad if I told you that my water just broke?" Sarah says nervously

"What?" Jessica gasps. She looks down at the floor and sees a big wet spot.

"Sarah, you're in labor?" Jessica says loudly

"Oh my god, I think so!" She says

"Evan, Danny get in here!" Jessica yells

Evan and Danny come running into the room and immediately they see the wet spot underneath Sarah. Evan comes up to Sarah and takes her hand then holds her back. "Baby, did your water break?"

"Evan, I think it did! I think we're going to be parents tonight!" She says

"Danny, They're having a baby!" She says jumping into his arms.

"We need to get you to the hospital, Sarah." Evan says

"Here, I'll help you get your stuff together. Danny we are going with them." Jessica says

Danny nods "Okay!"

"Aww thank you so much, jessie." Sarah says

"Anything." Jessica sees Sarah's hospital bag from the corner of her eye then grabs it

"It looks like our baby might be taking away your birthday thunder." Evan chuckles

"Oh please, I don't mind!" Jessica giggles

"Alrighty then, let's go meet our baby girl." Evan says to Sarah.
