"Happy Birthday, Kali Girl!" Jessica says walking into Ann's house.

All of her nieces and her nephew come running up to her.

"Aunt Jessie! You're here!" Paige yells wrapping her arms around Jessica.

"We didn't know you were coming!" Quinn says

"Well surprise!" She chuckles

"Is der baby in der?" Kali says poking Jessica's stomach

Jessica nods "Yes, there is!" She says

"We are having a baby cousin, remember? It's a girl." Paige says to kali

"I remember I remember! Baby cousin!" She jumps in the air.

Jessica giggles at her cuteness then bends down to give her a hug.

"How old are you today?" Jessica says

"I Four!"

"Wow! You're such a big girl, huh?"

She nods "Yes!"

"Aunt Jessie, how long are you staying for?" Quinn asks

"Well, I've moved back to Minnesota. So I'm not going anywhere." Jessica says

"Does that mean we can have sleepovers and hang out?" Paige smiles

"Yes, Of course!"

Ann walks Into the room to greet Jessica.

"Hey there!" Ann says

"Mom! Aunt Jessie is coming to Minnesota!" Quinn says

"Yes, I know!" She smiles

"Hi! I came a little early if you don't mind." She says after the kids settle

"Of course not. Come in, snack, do whatever you please. We just got done setting up!" Ann smiles

The kids go outside to play. It was just Ann and Jessica now.

"Are you settling in Okay?" She asks, referring to Jessica's move from New York.

Jessica sits down and nods "Yes. It feels good to be here."

Ann sits down with her and takes her hands. "It's good for you to be home."

Jessica gives her a soft smile and nods

"You're getting bigger and bigger!" She says placing her hand on Jessica's stomach.

"Six months" she says

"Pregnancy looks good on you, Jessica. You're lucky you aren't like Jane or I who were bloated to the max." Ann chuckles

"I still have some weight to gain. They have been watching it."

"That's because you're so skinny." She says

"How have things been?" She asks

"Crazy. School is out for the year so no work for me. We've been in this house for a couple months now, it feels good."

When Ann's husband first died they had to move into an apartment. Now that she was back on her feet she was able to move into another home.

"I'm happy for you!"

"And today my friend is coming to celebrate with us."

"Your friend?" Jessica smirks

Ann nods "I met someone."

"Oh really, Ann that's great!"

"It was really hard at first. But the kids love him."

"Do you love him?" Jessica asks

Ann shrugs her shoulders "I don't know... it's too early. I need time."

"Well of course. As long as the kids are comfortable with this, I'm glad."

Jessica hugs her sister tight and Ann begins to cry.

"It's been three years... I think he'd want this for me."

"Of course Jim would, Ann. He'd want you to be happy, and the kids too."

"It's good for Quinn, to have a man around. He's always stuck with us girls."

"Poor Quinn..." Jessica pouts then giggles

May 27th/ 27weeks-

Today was Jessica's surprise baby shower. She had no clue what her family had planned for her, but they were all in on it. They wanted to go all out for Jessica. Her sisters planned to have it at a restaurant/ banquet center not to far from where they live. Everyone pitched in.

Dorothy had to leave to go help set up. It was George's job to occupy Jessica for the day and make sure she is at the restaurant.

"George, don't let her go anywhere today!" Dorothy says sternly as she grabs her keys and purse

"Okay, mom. What am I suppose to do with a pregnant lady all day?" He whispers harshly

"I don't know! She's your sister George. You'll figure something out." Dorthy quickly leaves and George sits on the couch alone waiting for Jessica. She was upstairs getting ready for the day.

Dorothy gave George a few instructions.
Make sure she doesn't leave without you
Don't give her any clues
Make sure she's dressed in something other than leggings and a shirt
Be on time, not later, not earlier

Time had passed. Jessica came downstairs to see George anxiously waiting.

"Hey, where is mom?"

"She's uh- out... yeah, out for the day." He says with hesitation.

Jessica plops herself next to George and nods.

"I might go out today. What are your plans?"

"No!" He says

"Excuse me?"

"No- you can't leave."

Jessica turns to her brother and gives his a strange look.

"I want to spend the day with you. I never see you." He says, saving himself.

Jessica smiles "okay. Did you want to walk around the maternity store with me?" She chuckles

As much as George dreaded it, he couldn't say no.

"Uh, sure. Then we can go to game stop." He says

"Fair enough. I'll go get my keys."

He quickly grabs her arm. "No!"

"George! What's gotten into you!" She snaps yanking her arm away.

"Sorry- I'll drive."

George was a nervous wreck the whole day. He was scared he'd mess up or blow cover. He wasn't good with stuff like this. He was especially scared of his mother and sisters if he messed anything up.

When they got to the mall they stopped at the maternity store first. Jessica wasn't fitting into anything.

From what George saw Jessica was only getting jeans and shirts. He had to find something she could wear to the shower.

"Jessica, try this on." He says throwing a pink
Summer dress at her.

"Ehh, I don't think so."

"Try it on! You're gonna look like a bum if you get just jeans and leggings."

She rolls her eyes and try's it on.

When she comes back out in the dress George gives her a thumbs up.

"Great! Keep it on."

"Why?" She whines

"Because, you always look like a bum!"

"Hey!"

"It's true." He was of course lying, but he needed to follow Dorothy's instructions. Make sure she's dressed in something other than leggings and a shirt.

"Fine! I'm ready to leave after this! No game stop!" She snaps

George chuckles and waits for Jessica to check out.

When they're done Jessica wanted to stop to get a milkshake.

They sit down outside of the mall.

"Jess, I was just kidding about the bum thing." He says

She pouts "Sure"

"Seriously. But you look really nice in that dress."

"Aww, thanks George!" She giggles

"I miss you, Jess." He says sadly

"George, I miss you too. Today was fun." She smiles

"Even though you were being mean."

"What? Me? You're the one acting weird." She says

He shrugs his shoulders.

"But you're doing really well, Jess. I was worried."

Jessica clears her throat and puts her head down. "Don't worry about me, okay?"

He nods then checks the time. It was a little after three. He needed to be at the shower by three thirty.

"Jess! Get up, we have to go!"

"What?" She says

"Come on! I forgot I have to pick up my friend at that restaurant by moms. His car broke down."

Jessica groans and sits up.

"Can't we do this later?" She says

"No. His shift is over soon!"

George drives as fast as he can to the restaurant. It was way past three thirty by now.

"Want to come in?" He says

"No, I'll stay."

"No, you'll come. Maybe we can get something to eat." He says getting out of the car.

Jessica rolls her eyes and follows him into the restaurant. George's story was starting to not make much sense. Jessica was becoming confused.

Jessica follows after George until she finally catches up to him.

He opens the door for her and they walk through the restaurant to one of the private rooms.

"George, where is he?"

"In here." He says pointing to the door where all of her family was.

He slowly opens the door and when he does Jessica sees all of her family.

"Surprise!" They exclaim

"Oh my gosh, what's going on?"

"We wanted to throw you a baby shower!"
Sarah says coming up and giving her a hug.

Jessica starts to tear up. All of Danny's family was there as well, including lots of friends and other family members.

Dorothy comes up to George and lightly hugs him behind his head.

"Owe!" He whispers

"Three thirty, George! Three thirty!" She says

"Hey, I did everything else you wanted me to do!" He says

Dorothy chuckles "I'm just playing, thank you baby!"

Jessica turns to George and taps his arm.

"Is it abuse George day?" He says holding his arm.

"Now I know why you were being so weird!" She says giving him a hug.

"I'm sorry Jess."

"Aww it's okay! You're the best brother!"

"Were you surprised?" Angelica says coming up to Jessica.

"Hi Ang! I haven't seen you in forever!" She says giving her a hug.

A couple months ago Angelica moved. She flew in just for Jessica's shower.

"Hey, Jess! You look beautiful."

Jessica smiles "So do you!" She smiles

"This little shower they threw is so adorable. I actually have something for you." She says putting a small little gift bag in front of Jessica.

"Did you want me to open in now?" She giggles

"Yes!" She says

Jessica smiles and slowly opens up the bag.

Inside was a onesie. Jessica read it and began to tear up.

"Oh wow, it's so cute." She says wiping her tears.

"I saw it and I had to... even though her daddy may not be here, she deserves some of those cheesy daddy outfits." Angelica smiles

"Thank you, I appreciate this so much."

The shirt had read Daddy's Little Angel

Jessica gives Angelica a firm hug and cries.

"Jessica, I just wanted to tell you that you are going to be such an amazing mother. I cant wait to meet your little girl... it's going to be crazy, holding her. It will be like holding a piece of my brother." She says

Jessica nods "thank you... I hope I will be." She says to herself

The party lasted all day. It went amazing. Jessica really had fun and was glad her sisters and Sarah had done this for her. For the first time in a very long time Jessica was able to loosen up, smile, laugh, and enjoy herself. Everyone had been so amazing and supportive of her. She was truly grateful.

Jessica saw her sisters sitting at a table with the kids. Jessica had been talking to guest but she wanted to see them for a bit.

"There is the baby mama!" Ann says

"Baby mama?" Kali repeats Ann

They all laugh.

"I wanted to thank you guys for all of this. I really appreciate it." She says

"Of course Jessica! It's your first little one, we wanted it to be special."

"I didn't deserve any of this." She says, quivering her lips.

"Don't be silly, you deserve all of this... and more of course!" Sarah says hugging her best friend

"You deserve the world!" Paige chimes in

"You guys are all so amazing."

Jane shrugs her shoulders "Yeah, we know."
She says in a joking way.

"Baby shower is over... now it's time to meet the baby!" Ann adds

"Baby cousin!" Kali yells

"Baby?" Lillian says

"Yes, little girl, Baby!" Jane says

"Yay!"
