So, I decided to skip through Jessica's vacation and talk about it more when she gets home... enjoy!

September First-

Jessica just got home from Europe. She stayed for an extra month to see more. She spent the whole summer traveling all over. She spent her first few weeks in Germany. Then she traveled to France, Scotland, Poland, Italy, the U.K., Greece, and the Netherlands. It was a trip of a lifetime. Jessica got to have so many awesome experiences. While she was out of town she put together her book that she wanted to publish. She knew it would take a while, but that was okay.

Jessica had taken thousands of pictures so she could look back on them when she was older. Jessica was sad to leave, but ready to go home. Jason would meet up with her in different places to keep her company then leave. They hung out as friends and nothing more during her trip.

Jessica would call Sarah every few weeks and Ann weekly to see how things were at the apartment. Also Jane to check on her.Those were the only people she kept in touch with.

While she was gone Jessica was able to truly find herself and take a break. It was nice to get away and have all new experiences. Jessica made so many new friends and saw amazing things. Jessica visited orphanages and helped the little kids that were less fortunate.

While Jessica was gone she saw all kinds of different people and how they lived. Some were very privileged, others not so much.

Jessica's plane left from Greece to New York. Jessica visited Greece twice on her trip. It was one of her favorite destinations.

On a later September night Jessica's flight landed in New York. Ann picked up Jessica with all three kids in the car.

Jessica waited by baggage claim with all of her suitcases.

Suddenly Jessica saw a big sign, two little kids jumping around, and a women waving the sign. It was Ann and the kids.

Jessica grabbed her bags and ran towards them.

"Welcome home! You're back in America!" Ann drops the sign and picks up her little sister swinging her around.

"Haha, thank you!"

"We missed you so much. You're so tan!" Paige says hugging Jessica's legs.

Quinn hugs Jessica also and smiles.

"Thank you all for coming to get me! I missed you so much."

"Jessica you're so tan!" Ann gasp examining Jessica's body.

"You lost weight" Quinn says

"Hah, really?"

"You must have done a lot of walking."

Jessica nods and looks at Kali who was asleep.

"How about we head home?" Ann smiles

When they get to the apartment Jessica was wide awake while the kids were sound asleep, and Ann was struggling to keep her eyes open.

Jessica walked into the apartment. It was so nice to finally be home. Everything was just as she left it, things were a bit different since Ann and the kids had been living there, but it was still just the way she remembered it.

The kids went straight to bed. Ann stayed up with Jessica for a bit, Jessica was jet lag and couldn't sleep.

Ann pulled out some beers as they talked.

"I can't thank you enough for letting us stay here while you were gone. I really appreciate it." Ann says sincerely.

"I'm glad I could help... I'll miss Europe, but I'm honestly glad to be home."

"Heh, that's good.

It's sad that next week the kids and I pack
up to go back home. I have work, the kids have school, and it's time to house shop. Mom said we can stay with her for a while until I find an affordable place."

"I'm thinking of maybe visiting. Mark said I can come back late December, early October."

"You should!

So tell me, any good love affairs?"

"No..." Jessica smirks moving her head away from Ann.

"You're lying."

"No I'm not." Jessica bites her lip

"Come on, you can't tell me you went a whole summer without sex!"

"Ann, come on."

"You fucked someone, I know it."

"That stuff is personal." Jessica sets down her beer and crosses her arms.

"Ugh, Jessica! You did, I know it! You aren't denying it."

"Okay, fine. I met this one guy. His name was Frankie. He was cool and all. I spent a lot of time with him in Greece."

"Ohh, dang! That's why you stayed longer."

"Yes, you caught me." Jessica throws her arms in the air and rolls her eyes.

"Awww, Jess. I'm so happy for you."

"I'll never see him again anyways."

"True. But still."

"I'm not ready to go back to work." Jessica whines

"Aww, well aren't you going to work on your book? And you have to show me pictures!"

"I plan to go back to work and try to start my book within the next month. I need to edit.  And no pictures until the book comes out."

"Ugh, it's killing me! Facebook pictures aren't  enough."

Jessica paused for a moment and sighed. She looked at Ann suddenly and unexpectedly hugged her.

"I missed you so much..." Jessica says

"I missed you too little sis, don't cry!" Ann pulls Jessica away and smiles.

"Are you okay, girl?" Ann says putting her hand on Jessica's shoulders.

Jessica had watery eyes.

"Now that this trip is over, I'm back to reality. Reality scares the shit out of me.

I keep telling myself it's time to slow down, find someone, and just stop playing around and avoiding reality."

"You're only so young Jessie. Twenty four is young. Don't waste your freedom away. Slowdown when you are ready.

Just don't be that one women that still parties at thirty five. Besides, once you slow down and get a real relationship and have kids, say bye bye to party's." Ann chuckles

"I'm not talking about partying, it's just I want to find someone. I want this someone to be my someone forever."

"I get it.... I kinda can't wait for you to get married and have little babies." Ann scrunches her nose and giggles.

"I'm not having kids." Jessica says bluntly

"What? Jessica! You always said how you wanted kids." Ann pouts

"I'm not mother material. I'm too selfish."

"You aren't selfish. You just like your-" Ann pauses for a moment.

"Mhm, see." Jessica tilts her head and widens her eyes.

"I always remember over hearing you and Danny talking about your future together."

Jessica got quite for a moment and her heart dropped. It had been forever since she thought about Danny.

Jessica and Danny always had dreams to be together forever. But things all ended when they broke up after graduation. Jessica regrets it some days, but she had her reasons. Once she left for college she never looked back, and didn't let anyone stop her.
