"DAMN IT!" I scream in frustration. I've been trying to win this game for the past hour. I hear the sounds of other games playing in the background and kids screaming around me. Looking around at the room filled with neon colors I don't see my friends. I'm not surprised that they got bored watching me try again and again. We were all here for my birthday, I recently turned 14. I shrug and turn back to the game reaching into my pockets only to see that I'm out of tokens. 
           "Awe man." I frown. If I only had one more game I could have won this game, I know I could have. I look back up the game with determined eyes. One day I'll win. I turn around to go find my friends when I bump into someone. I look down to see a boy who looks around my age. The neon lights bounce off his black hair and he smiles at me.
           "You know you chose the hardest game here." I frown at his statement.
           "So what, I'll still beat it one day." I retort. I was fully aware that all the other games were easier. Almost no one likes playing it because it's unbeatable. Or so that's what everyone thinks but I'll prove them wrong. 
           "Cool! I hope to be there when you do! I've been trying that game the past year but you're really good!" He exclaims before looking down at his pockets and paying out four tokens. He looks back up at me. "Wanna work together on it?" He asks.
         "Sure!" I smile at him. We quickly turn to the game and slide in two tokens getting ready to play.
         "By the way, I'm Carter!" He informs me.
        "I'm Lucas."

          I pull back from our kiss and stare into his soft brown eyes. We were hiding in a closet at school, how cliche, I know, but I loved it. I loved running around with our secret, with his hands on my waist keeping me in his grasp, his sly smile while he looks down at me. To think it would be ending soon. Our secret would soon be know to the world.
           "Are you ready for my party this weekend?" I whisper to him, slighty pulling on his collar to bring him closer. 
           "Oh definitely! Now everyone will know that you belong to me and me alone." He firmly answers before placing his lips on mine and I smile into the kiss. I swear I fall for him more and more.with every kiss. 
             RING! I jump at the sound of the bell, breaking our kiss and he laughs at me. I roll my eyes and playfully hit him. 
          "Well would you look at that it's time for class." I say as I turn to leave only to be pulled back. I smirk looking up at him. He may have gotten taller but I knew I had him wrapped around my finger.
          "I'm still allowed to come over later, right babe?" He whispers in my ear and I smile knowing what he ment.
          "Of course, I wouldn't want to celebrate my 18th birthday any other way." I whisper back quickly giving him a peck on the lips before leaving. 

          We opened the door and walked into the apartment and I immediately run inside. I was so excited to start this chapter of my life with him! His parents helped him get a place for us that's near where I'm going to college and it would be ours! I turn to see him watching me with a smile. Oh how I love his smile. I raise my arms up and nod to him and he runs to me immediately reading my mind. He grabs me picking me up and swings me around while I laugh at the excitement spilling out. We fall to the floor and I look over to him making eye contact with him.
          "Happy 21st babe" he gently holds my face with his palm. 
         "Thank you, I love you so much Carter Lee." I respond.
         "I love you even more Lucas Jones."
