(Alarm Blasting)

I jumped up quickly in my bed, trying to regain my balance. The sun was beaming through my window as I rubbed my eyes slowly. "Bombaclat", I screamed at the alarm. I low key have an attitude because it scared the heck out of me. "What is today?", I yelled.

"GRADUATION DAYYYYYYY", my mom yelled as she burst through my room door. "Are you excited my little rooster?", my mom asked. I stared at her for about 5 seconds. "Mommmm don't call me that. But to answer your question, yes I am very excited". I been waiting for this moment and it's finally here. "Well I'm going to go and get out of your hair", my mom said happily. I chuckled as she jogged out the door.

I leaned over and grabbed my phone off the charger. I unlocked my phone and read my Verse of the day. I just feel like that's the best way to start the day off you know. As I finished, I jolted up and went to the bath room. And yes I call it a BATHROOM. I brushed my teeth and hopped in the shower afterwards. I got my phone and turned on some NBA Youngboy. And yes I like Youngboy, don't tell me nothing.

(30 minutes later)

I walked out of my closet holding a all white tee with different shades of brown stitched into a slogan. I hope that makes sense, it sounds good when I say it out loud. The slogan reads, "Good Things Are Coming." Imagine the outfit. I laid the shirt on top of my light brown Allover Print Cargo pants. I walked backed in my closet and grabbed my brown and white dunks. Did you picture it? I put my boxers and sports bra on. Yes I am a girl. Lol.

I grabbed my Vaseline and applied generous amounts to my body. Do you put lotion on your stomach? I put my socks on following my pants. Then I slipped my shirt over my head slowly, making sure not to mess up my hair. Lastly, I put my dunks on. All finished. That was a process. My phone started to light up constantly. I rushed over to see what was going on. I unlocked my phone and seen I had messages from my mom, cousin, and friend.

Mom: "Hurry so I can take pics."

Chloe: "Girlll why aren't you answering, I hope your not still sleeping!"

Remi: "Frienddd its our LITUATION!!!!"

I texted Chloe and told her I was getting ready. "Periodddd friend", I said as I responded to Remi. I laughed at my mom, that lady is more excited than me. Such a sweet lady. I quickly collected the rest of my things from around my room and walked downstairs. My mom hurried to the stairs as she seen me. "Are you ready to take some flicks?" We both laughed hysterically. "Your corny mom, but yes I'm ready", I replied.

She grabbed my graduation gown off the couch, and she swung it around me. I slipped my arms into the arms of the gown. I could of sworn I stood there for 20 minutes as my mom was snapping away. Maybe I'm over exaggerating. "All done", I hear my mom say. " Thank you Jesus", I blurted out.

I looked at the clock and noticed time was getting the best of me. I ran to the kitchen to warm myself a sausage biscuit. 3 minutes went by as I grabbed it out the microwave and jogged out the kitchen. "I'm late mom and I love you", I said as I ran past the living room and kissed her. "See you at the graduation mom, drive safe". I slipped out the front door and locked it.
