Chapter three
Olivia took another step back, holding Millie close to her side. She wasn't letting her little sister go for a single second. Inside her self, she knew that they weren't going to get out of this. But what shocked Olivia the most was not that they were all hot, but that there was a girl there with them. If they were human, then there must have been more girls left than she had excpected. But if they were creatures, they would have been dead already... or would die in the next ten seconds.
"Liv, whats going on?" Millie whimpered, snuggling her face shyly into her sisters body. The three tallest continued to stare at them as if they were that rare monkey in the zoo... whilst the other two twins just looked bored. "We were not aware that there were any other humans around in the area... in fact we were not aware there were any girls any where." The girl spoke softly, regaining her composure.
"Like I said, you should come with us. We were all alone at some point... its easier to survive together." the boy they first met spoke, who they believed was named Harry. He looked at her and gave her a reasuring smile. Olivia couldn't pull her eyes away from his his, for some unknown reason. She felt as though she could trust him. But her and Millie had survived for so long on their own... would she really be willing to give it all up and take a chance at a better life? It could so easily be a trap.
"We have to leave soon... to find shelter for the night. If your coming, we have to leave now." the blonde boy said, smiling widely at the two girls. They were both hesitant, but the second Millie remembered about the dog, she replied. "We will come if I can play with the dog." The three burst out laughing, and the twins just smirked. She sounded so formal and demanding when she spoke. "Yes, of course you can play with Gavin. He seems to like you" Harry said, bending down and smiling at her.
Olivia had decided to take the risk. It was either that, or have them kill them both. They all started walking in a group, blondie and the girl at the front, along with Millie hand Gavin, then the twins and then her... and Harry. "We haven't seen many other people, you know. We were just quite surprised to find you too." she nodded, still having not spoken a word since they had met.
"You see, we were all found from different back grounds. I found Rebecca five years ago, when she was eleven and I was sixteen. Her parents had just died from a disease, and she was all alone. Then we found Owian next, when I had turned eighteen. He was only fifteen, two years older than Rebecca. Well, we actually found Ow and his girl friend, Cara, but she sadly passed after three weeks. And then it was three years, which brings it just before now. About a month ago, we found the twins. Their both nineteen, and still aren't properly settled in with us... but they will come around just like you will."
Olivia nodded, still not looking him in the eyes. At least her and Millie weren't the only new ones to the group. Although, she didn't know why, but she was sure that this was the start to some good times. Perhaps she had made the right decision to join them? And if not... well, she would deal with that in the moment. But for now, she would just keep quiet and observe.

Evetually, after walking a good few miles, the came to a deserted town filled with empty houses. Olivia still had not said a word, but the others didn't seem to mind. Once they had found a suitable house to stay in for the night, they all settled down in the 'living room', which in fact was not very liveable. Harry set a fire in the fire place, to warm them all up. It was night fall already, and they were all practically freezing to death.
"It should be fine now, we just need to sit here and warm up for the night and we should be okay" Owian said, sitting back down on the dirty floor with the rest of them. Even though they were travelling together as a group now, you could still see the lines that seperated them. Harry, Rebecca and Owian all sat close together, the twins sat a little distant away, but not too far to not still be close. And then there was Olivia, with Millie falling asleep in her lap... far far away from the rest. They all sat by a window, whilst the two sisters a good three or four meters away, against the opposite wall.
"What are we going to do next?" Rebecca asked, smiling towards the twins. Olivia could have bet her socks that she had a crush on one of the pair. The way she stared dreamily towards them... Olivia couldn't understand it. "We should keep moving" Harry quoted, his voice firm and strong. But the grumpy twin sighed in destress, grumpily huffing out his anger. "Well, we think that we should settle down. Permanently." Instantly the trio stiffened, no longer grinning as they had previously. "We can't do that. You know its too dangerous." Owian reasoned, his voice raising in the end. Olivia could sense the tension in the room. It could be cut with a knife... NO! A a chain saw.
"Theres two more of us now. Four would have been enough to settle down, but we always felt like the new comers. And now were not. Me and him are staying. I doubt you three will stay, nor the two girls, but anyone else?" A thick silence grew and grew in the room. Olivia knew what she wanted to do, but she felt nervous. She thought that she might as well state her opinion before she backs out.
Slowly, her arm went up in the air. All five people stared at her in disbelief, astonished by her actions. The loud twin grinned and clapped his hands together. "Great! You three can leave in the morning, and us three will set up here, or in another house." Olivia nodded. It may have been a better idea to keep moving, but she knew that her little Millie couldn't take it. For the love of God, she was five! When Olivia was five, she had been using barbie dolls and playing boys catching girls!
Almost instantly, Harry stood up. He looked at Olivia with sorrow, but then collected him self. He took a deep breathe and stood up straight. "Fine. We'll stay. But theres only one reason I'm staying he said" The twin huffed, obviously annoyed with his staying. But do you know what the funny thing was?
Harrys eyes never left hers.
