The Trial {Part 3}
Yikes!! I haven't updated this in months!
But in my defence I've been very busy. I'm applying for 2 different art programs and looking for post secondary schools. I don't have much confidence in my art abilities and I'm pretty sure I won't make it into any (at least not the first time around). But I've been busy making portfolios.
Also I've had mad writers block.
But thanks to DenniaArlen I was able to write this chapter. I want to credit her for her plot ideas used in the chapter. She helped me figure out what the demon kings should say and how some things will go down.
I want to thank ItsuItsu for trying to help me with ideas too. And ThatLilMarshmallow for giving me some ideas as well. Your ideas were great and I may use part of them later on. It's just DenniaArlen 's idea was more aligned with the overall plot I had in mind. Not that you guys would know the plot I have in mind since I didn't tell you.
Also, before proceeding take a quick gander at this:
It is taken directly from the blue Exorcist manga and it tells you who is aligned with who.
However my take on the characters are a bit different from in the manga because when I started writing it I only had the anime to base it off of.
So Egyn, is a bit nicer in this story than he is in canon.
Plus I think Iblis is possessing a girl in canon... and Egyn is possessing a child....
This chapter is freaking long but I wanted to be done with the trial by the end of this chapter.
Now on with the story ~

(3rd person P.o.v)
Rin and the exorcists weren't the only ones who were panicking, but Queen Yuri was as well. So far, everybody who spoke during trial voted for the execution of the humans. But this was her own son they were talking about. She had to sit there and watch as people voted if they should execute her child or not and there wasn't much at all she could do about it.
They were taking a recess so for now they had some more time. She would have to think of something to do. Maybe she could talk to Satan about this. It was clear that he had not gotten a good enough look at who the humans were or he would've noticed his own son was a part of the mix. He wouldn't kill his own son if he were aware that it was him, would he? On the other hand, it was not like Yukio was the child Satan was the most proud of unfortunately. After all, he did view Yukio and Samael as traitors to Gehenna.
But he wouldn't go through with the execution if he got a better look at Yukio. Although Samael betrayed Satan and his own kind by aiding the humans, revealing their ancient secrets to them. Teaching them how they can destroy his own kind. Even then, she could tell that Satan still cared for Samael deep down though he refused to show it. Of course he did, he was his son.
Everyone used this time to stretch their legs, walk around, prepare their arguments, and discuss their opinions on the case. The whole hall was filled with chatter from everyone having conversations amongst themselves. A few members of the supernatural court got up to stretch their legs as well, and to speak to some of their royal advisors or royal staff.
Yuri tugged on the sleeve of Satan's robe.
"Satan!" She whispered loudly.
"Hmm?" He still kept the bored look on his face, the sooner the recess was done the sooner he could finish up the trial. He was the God of Gehenna, so of course he had plenty of other things to take care of besides the stupid trial.
"Satan I have something to tell you it's very urgent to please listen to me well!"
"Mhmm what is it dear?" He did not turn toward Yuri, just kept looking off into space with a look of tiredness.
"It's about the exorcists, we can't go through with the-"
"Lord Satan," the queen of the seelie fae interrupted. "May I have a word with you alone to discuss important matters."
"Alright." Satan says pushing himself up from the seat.
"But Satan!-"
Satan waved a hand at Yuri.
"We will talk about what's so urgent later, I'm sure whatever it is can wait a little while."
"But it can't wait!" She reached out for him but by then he was already walking away with the fae queen.
~~~
The recess was coming to the end soon and Rin was feeling something he hasn't felt in quite a while. Anxiety.
Panic.
And as the seconds ticked by the more this feeling of dread and panic grew within him. It made him feel almost nauseous.
And while Rin's anxiety grew so did Amaimon's concern. He hasn't seen Rin like this since Rin had just came to Gehenna. This behavior wasn't like him, at least not anymore. And it definitely wasn't befitting of a great demon king. He worried how Rin would hold up when it was his turn to speak. He had to do something.
He turned Rin to face him grabbing his face with both his hands to make sure he didnt look away.
"Rin, tell me, what's the worse thing you think that could happen to you?" Rin blinked a couple times, looking him in the eye. "Well?"
"The humans could get executed."
"I said to YOU Rin."
"Well, Satan could get furious with me for holding them here. He could torture me. The whole court might find me guilty as well."
"Do you realize how rediculous that sounds? What you did wasn't even as bad as what the humans did. And Satan's all about you. You're his youngest son, the baby of the family, the only one who inherited his power. He won't torture you. At worse he'll scold you harshly."
"What if I choke up there."
"You won't."
"How do you know that?"
"Because I believe you won't. I believe in you Rin. You'll be fine. And on the odd chance that things go south, they'll have to go through me before they even try to torture you."
Rin gave him a small smile.
"Ok."
It was hardly noticeable, but Rin could clearly see the was Amaimon's lips curved slightly upward.
~~~
Satan held a serious look on his face.
"Are you sure?" Satan said with a dark tone of voice.
"I am not one hundred percent certain but I feel as though it is most likely. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you." Queen Sobyria stated.
Satan nodded his head, eyes somber, not meeting Sobyria's.
"I fear there will be another uprising. I'm not quite sure if it is her or not. But we cannot rule that out as a possibility. It could be one of her many disciples as well."
"...We will discuss these matters again soon, let us get on with the trial and finish it up already. It has been dragging out for far too long."
Queen Sobyria's mouth opened and closed again.
"Yes, my Dark Lord."
~~~
Satan took his seat back on his throne. Ready to get the trial over and done with. Queen Yuri with a look of worry turned to Satan as he sat down. Worried for her son and his friends. But as she gazed upon his face, she gained one more thing to be worried about. She took note that Satan's facial expression and demeanor as a whole changed. He face void of emotion but his eyes held a dark and cold look. She leaned in a bit about to ask him what was the matter. However just then Satan spoke.
"Quiet down all of you, our break is over. The trial will now proceed." The loud chatter slowly died down to merely a few whispers. "Next speaking will be each of the demon kings."
Lucifer being the oldest and sitting closest to the aisle took this as his cue to stand and make his way to the center of the court. He stood straight and tall with a stern look on his face, demanding the attention of all listeners. Rin unconsciously bit his lip worried. He knew that Lucifer definitely won't vote in his and the exorcists favor. Lucifer had total alliance with Gehenna and has made it clear time and time again he didn't really care about the wellbeing of humans.
"I say that the humans are guilty." Rin felt his chest tighten. "It is pretty much an unspoken law that no living humans may enter the land of the dead. And it is such an important law as well which ensures the safety of all beings in both Assiah and Gehenna. Not only have they endangered themselves but everyone else in Gehenna. Especially being that they are in fact exorcists." As soon as Lucifer mentioned the fact they were exorcists the whole court had an uproar with shocked gasps, screams and sounds of disapproval. Lucifer recognized these exorcists, he also recognized them as threats to his plans for his organization and assiah. It was in his best interest as well if they were disposed of. "I believe personally that the best form of punishment is in fact execution." The crowds clapped, whistled and hollered agreeing with his statement. Lucifer went back to his seat.
Originally it was accustomed for the demon kings to speak in order of age, meaning Mephisto would speak next. But because of recent events and such, this was no longer the case. Mephisto would speak later. However the reason is most likely believed to be that because of his allegiance with the humans his opinions were slightly less valued.
"Next to speak would be the demon king of insects, Beelzebub."
As Beelzebub walked up to the podium he turned to Rin and gave him a small smile. Rin wondered if that meant Beelzebub knew something about him holding the exorcists at his castle.
He cleared his throat and looked directly at the supernatural court.
"Although the humans have found their way into Gehenna, and that is very much against our customs. The reality is they have not really harmed anyone while here, or committed any other major crimes. So I believe execution would be a rather harsh punishment. A slightly less severe one would do just fine. Or we can simply banish the humans from Gehenna, sending them back to Assiah. Making it as if the whole situation never happened." The supernatural court seemed shocked by his answer and so did the rest of the audience. It was clear that they did not agree with him. Voices filled the court room once again. "But let's all be honest, during the humans time here have they assaulted anyone? Not to my knowledge, no. All they did was enter Gehenna, that is all. We are not even sure how they managed to arrive here. So until further questioning from the mortals I think that the punishment should be less severe. Execution definitely being out of the question."
Beelzebub was well aware ahead of time what he said would cause a stir. He made his way back to his seat ignoring the looks of shock or even slight anger from his brothers.
"...Yes... And next speaking will be Iblis, demon king of fire."
Iblis stood and made his way toward the podium. He had been contemplating what to say on his term for the entire trial. Yes he did believe the humans should be executed. But he had been tasked prior to Rin's arrival to Gehenna to keep an eye on the youngest demon. And even after his arrival he still preformed said tasks. He has been observing Rin for a while and he knows who these humans are. And he knows what they were to Rin.
He knew full well they should be executed for their crimes against Gehenna. As well as the crimes against their prince. Abuse is no small matter and definitely cannot be dismissed.
He should vote for their execution, but he has noticed how fidgety Rin had been acting the entire trial. And he knows the reason isn't the fact it was Rin's first major trial. He noted that Beele looked in Rin's direction before speaking. He also noted Rin's look of relief when Beele voted against.
Would the right thing be to go according to the laws of the land and vote for? Or does he vote against for his brothers sake? He had no more time to ponder this as his time to speak was now.
"I vote against the execution." Iblis bit his tongue as soon as the words fumbled out of his mouth. He definitely did not believe in the words he just said. And it almost physically pained him to be saying these words. But he reminded himself why he was doing this and who he was doing this for. "...I agree with Beelzebub. Although it is against our customs to have mortals enter the underworld, we are not sure yet how they arrived or what their intentions are...And they have not physically harmed anyone during their stay, at least not to my knowledge. I think we should have further investigation on the case. Until then, we should give them a less severe punishment than execution."
Everyone was especially shocked at what Iblis had said. They had definitely thought he'd vote for the execution. Lucifer had a look of betrayal and rage and so did Astaroth. Rin's was trying to cover the look of shock and disbelief on his face as well, and failing miserably. Even Amaimon looked shocked, or as shocked as Amaimon could look.
Even Satan was mildly surprised as he did not fully foresee things going this route. He saw it as a possibility, but chose not to believe it as it seemed ludacris. He decided to just move on with the trial rather than stating his thoughts.
"Right, and next speaking is the demon king of water, Egyn."
Egyn rose up and made his way to the center. He cleared his throat.
"I do believe that the exorcists are guilty." The audience appeared to agree with that statement. "However." That's when confused chatter and a few gasps were heard. "Execution is a tad bit over the top for this situation. They technically haven't hurt anyone yet. I believe that the humans should be imprisoned for their crimes rather than brought to immediate death. Torture and execution are out of the question. A few decades would suffice. Maybe a century." Some of the audience didn't agree, but some seemed to ponder it.
Egyn took his seat.
Rin was relieved that most of his brothers were voting against the execution. Although, he would prefer for the humans to be set free. Being imprisoned was slightly better than torture and execution. At least they'd be alive.
"Next speaking is the demon king of spirit's, Azazel."
If there's one person Rin could count on for voting against the execution was Azazel. He was the head of the Grigori and was allied with humanity. He was all about protecting human life.
Azazel walked up wearing a loose all white outfit. His platinum blond hair pulled back in a pony tail. He had a calm look on his face and didn't looked panicked or worried at all. Rin wished he could say the same about himself. He always admired Azazel for his ability to remain so composed no matter the situation.
Azazel had made his way to the podium.
"We must not execute the humans." He said in a calm and clear voice. "It is wrong and unjust." Shouts and hollers or rage and disappoint were heard throughout the court. "All life is sacred and must be protected no matter the species. Us demons are proud and noble beings. Unlike mortals we live for centuries. We have an infinite amount of years to develop an infinite amount of knowledge. So why is it that we act like savages? Why is it that we cannot realize what is so obvious?" The whole palace was in an uproar. Azazel raised his voice. "We are older and wiser, we are supposed to know better!"
The court was in chaos. It was clear that they didn't like what they heard. People were even starting to throw objects. Guards held their weapons tighter and got into a defensive stance to protect the royalty.
"Order! Order!"
The crowd still continued to scream and yell.
"THAT IS ENOUGH!!!" Satan's voice boomed like thunder. The ground even started to quake a bit. Yuri and the rest of the super natural court had to plug their ears as they were next to Satan.
The room went completely silent.
"Do NOT speak over me! OR your superiors!"
Satan looked at Azazel signaling for him to continue.
"This is exactly what I was saying before. We act like savages. Full of ignorance and arrogance. We act rashly without even stopping to think about if it's the morally correct thing to do. As the king of spirits I spend plenty of my time with the souls of the deceased. Speaking with them and getting to know them. So believe me when I say every soul is unique and special and should be treated as such. These people have done no harm to our people. And we do not yet know their true intentions. It isn't right to punish them without reason. And it isn't right to judge them. Thank you for your time." Azazel stepped away from the podium and he sat back down. He was met with unhappy and unwelcoming looks from Lucifer and Astaroth. Disappointed looks from Iblis and Egyn.
Samael simply nodded and smiled.
"Next speaking is Amaimon."
Amaimon got up from his seat. He looked at Rin before making he way to the center. Rin gave him a hopeful look back.
Amaimon stood at the podium.
"I vote not guilty." He said in a monotone voice. "The humans are not guilty because they came to Assiah by accident...Oh yeah, and like Beele said they didn't hurt anybody while they were here. So we should just send them back to Assiah. Or something." Everything was silent for a moment as Amaimon stood at the podium. "...That is all."
"Objection your honor!" Lucifer yelled.
"What is is Lucifer? And make it quick, I'd like to get this trial over with today maybe." Satan sighed.
"Amaimon's statement is invalid! Everyone knows he is just Samael's little puppet! Samael is probably telling him to say this. It is not a fair trial. How can we tell if he is really speaking honestly?!"
"Yeah!" Some guy in the audience yelled.
"He's right." Yelled another.
"He's got a point."
Satan pinched the bridge of his nose with a 'done' look on his face.
Amaimon went back to his seat.
"Well. I tried." He said to Rin.
Rin sighed and looked down.
"It's ok. Well, thanks for at least making an effort."
"You're welcome."
Mephisto made his way to the center with a smirk on his face while the audience still talked amongst themselves.
He cleared his throat.
"Father! Does he even have the right to speak in this trial?? His status was removed years ago! He's a traitor and has no place here! He leads the exorcists! The destroyers of our kind. He's on the humans side! He's biased! And sleazy aswell."
"That's enough Lucifer. Yes he technically has right to speak in this trial. Despite our wishes. He still has his place as the king of time. And therefore is technically a member of the Baal."
"That is correct. I am still a member of the Baal which means that I still get to speak." He smirked and turned to the audience. Although according to tradition he was supposed to face the judges. "Should we imprison, torture or even execute the humans." He hand gestured slighting his his throat at the word execute for extra emphasis. Which caused a few people to roll their eyes. "Well I believe that that's not exactly our call to make." He turns back to Satan. "You rule over Gehenna. This land. This realm. You rule over all people living in this realm. Are the humans from this realm? No. No they are not. The humans are NOT from Gehenna which means you do not have power over them."
"They are on MY land! While they are on my land they follow MY law!" It was clear he was getting under Satan's skin.
"That is false your honor! You rule over demons, the souls of the deceased that enter into underworld, and you rule over Gehenna's residents. These souls are not lost and these souls are not dead which means they are not yours! You are from the land of the dead, they are from the land of the living. You do not have your hands on them quite yet. So you cannot determine what happens to them."
"Their souls are in the land of the dead. They are as good as mine." Satan grit his teeth.
A grin spread across Mephisto's face.
"Us demon's are all about strictly following the law. Both our law and the laws of nature. And according to the laws of nature, as long as they are not dead yet they don't belong to you. As long as they are not condemned you have no power over them. You cannot physically harm them. The living do not belong here, so they need to be sent back. And that is final." Mephisto paused.
It was clear that Satan was very angry after that. Rin really didn't want to go after what Samael had said. Satan was going to be in an even worse mood after what he had to say.
"Now I think this can be used an opportunity." He continued. "A chance to negotiate peace with the human realm. They've been to Gehenna. We can send them back as advocates of our people. Imagine a world where demons could freely walk around Assiah without there being chaos and disorder. I think our people could benefit from what the human world has to offer. Sunlight, food, nourishment, culture, amusement, different job opportunities. And in return we can share our knowledge with the humans, enlighten them so that there is no more death amongst our people. That will be all."
Mephisto sat back in his seat.
Satan seemed to have calmed down a little bit much to Rin's relief. Satan had talked about wanting to find a way for demons to enter Assiah without being killed. Species like fairies, elves and some types of demons thrived in Assiah. Maybe he could use that to his advantage.
"Next speaking is the demon king of rot, Astaroth."
Astaroth made his way to the center of the room and by the look on his face it was clear he was not too pleased with what Samael had to say.
"Everything Samael says is false!" He angrily pointed at the exorcists with his claw like finger. "These human's deserve to die for their crimes. These humans broke one of the most important laws and we're just going to let them go scot-free because no one was injured yet? Regardless of that fact they still commit a crime. You think they are innocent just because no one has died? Mortals have hunted our kind for centuries. Just because there were luckily no casualties, it does not mean it couldn't have happened eventually. These humans are guilty. End of story."
Everyone in the audience clapped, cheered and whistled. Astaroth made his way back to his seat. He got an approving nod from Lucifer. Samael gave a look that showed an unclear emotion.
"Next speaking is the demon king of darkness, Rin."
Rin felt his chest tighten as he was announced. He would have to come clean and accept his punishment.
Amaimon mouthed the words 'good luck' to him.
Rin slowly got up and made his way to the center of the court room. He could feel everyone's eyes on him. As a king, he should be used to it by now. But it didn't stop the feeling of discomfort from boiling in the pit of his stomach.
Satan looked directly into Rin's eyes with a piercing gaze. Expecting Rin to begin speaking.
He swallowed hard.
"I vote not guilty." Rin checked Satan's face for any sign of emotion, but found none.
Most of Rin's older siblings were surprised, yet at the same time half expecting this answer knowing of Rin's heritage and upbringing. Also taking into Rin's naturally kinder nature.
Rin took another breath, trying to accept whatever outcome.
"We cannot prove whether the humans are truly guilty we are not sure how they arrived in Gehenna in the first place. They could've come here by accident though one of the portals. I think before jumping to give them such an extreme punishment, we should further investigate-"
"That should not be necessary." Satan interrupted which caught Rin off guard. Because of his position that was allowed during trial. "It should not be necessary to investigate how they came here or whether it was an accident. They were found in the shadow kingdom. That's your kingdom. Which you are responsible for constantly watching over which I trust you have. So you saw them enter your kingdom."
There was a short silence.
"That is not entirely correct. I didn't see them enter Gehenna, but I found them wandering the forest of shadows." Rin knew that if he tried lying he'd be caught, so he had to come clean.
"When did you find them wandering the forest?"
"A couple of days ago, my lord." Rin's eyes looked away from Satan. He could already tell that he was gonna get it.
"A couple of days?" Satan straightened up a bit. "And why was no one alerted of this immediately?"
"Because I figured that something like this would happen. That it was going to cause a panic or chaos. I was planning on sending them back to Assiah as soon as another portal opened leading to Assiah."
"And where were you keeping them?" Satan was clearly not pleased. His face remained cold and emotionless, but you could feel the aura around him darken.
Rin hesitated to respond.
"In my palace, until I could send them away."
A look of anger flashed across Satan's face and small blue flames licked his skin here and there.
"Why would you do this? Do you have any idea what you have done by holding humans here? Having mortals enter the underworld is against the law and you know this perfectly well-" The flames that sprouted on Satan started to grow as his temper did.
"Satan please." Yuri said softly grabbing his arm. "Look at him."
Satan looked at Rin, clearly seeing the slight look of panic on his face.
"He knows that what he did was wrong. Have some sympathy."
Satan's flames died down a bit, but still flickered here and there.
Satan's patience had worn thin.
"I have had enough of this. This trial has come to an end. The humans are found guilty and shall be sent to the torture chamber right away unless the rest of the council has something to say."
Yuri turned to Satan quickly, mouth open with shock.
"Wait!" Rin exclaimed. "The trial isn't done yet! Not everyone has spoken yet! The humans never even got a chance to plead their case. It is stated in the law that those put on trial get to at least make one one statement to the defend their case."
"This trial has gone on long enough, and all that needs to be said has already been."
"Satan, he is correct! The humans do get one chance to defend their case." Yuri claimed.
"I wasn't finished speaking yet." Rin stood up straighter and had a more confident look.
"Then finish. And make it quick."
"The humans did not come through a regular portal. No portals leading to and from Assiah and Gehenna open during this time. The only way they could enter Gehenna is if a portal was created. I think that this has to do with the case about the mysterious portals opening up. We could use them to solve the case. They may have valid information we can use."
There was silence and the rest of the supernatural court shared looks with each other.
Satan was the first to break the silence with a small sigh closing his eyes.
He opened his eyes looking directly st the humans.
"Verywell. Humans. You will get one, and only one chance to plead your case so you better choose your words wisely." He warned. "You shall choose only one representative to speak for all of you. Hurry and choose who shall speak. I'd like to speed things up."
The exorcists huddled together quickly to decide who will speak for them.
"Maybe I should speak." Bon spoke softly. "I think I can be convincing enough."
"What!?" Izumo whisper yelled. "That's a terrible idea!"
"Excuse me!"
"You'd just yell at them or something. Or screw it up." Izumo sassed.
"Now is not the time to argue!" Shura said.
"Well I'm definitely not speaking." Miwa said, shaking.
"Me neither." Shiemi said quietly.
"I'm not speaking either." Shima looked away.
"I'll do it!" Shura said. "I'm the one who was supposed to be responsible for all of ya's so I'll speak."
"Your times up." Satan's patience worn thin. "Speak now or forever hold your peace."
Shura turned to face Satan.
"Your honor we-"
"We're not guilty!" Yukio interrupted.
"What are you doing four eyes!" Shura angrily whisper yelled.
"These are my students so I'll take responsibility for them." He whispered back. He turned toward Satan. "We are not guilty! We did not do anything wrong. You cannot just torture us and toss us in the dungeon for doing nothing wrong." His voice was laced with venom. "It's just like you demons to act with such savagery."
"Excuse me? You mortal will not disrespect me and my people on our land." Satan's brows furrowed.
"I am not speaking disrespectfully I am speaking honestly."
"Yukio cut it out! Our lives are at stake here." Shura grabbed his shoulder which Yukio angrily shrugged off.
"You are all monsters! Why else would you kill people for no reason."
"Kill people for no reason!? We do not kill anyone without reason. It is you humans who kill people without reason. You hunt down and destroy our kind just because you do not understand us. You humans hate everything you cannot comprehend. It is you who are the savage beasts. And you dare call me a monster? Know your place mortal. You have one last chance to plead your case. I suggest you choose your words more carefully.
"You demons are liars as well. We only kill demons in self defense, it is you who attack our kind. You cause nothing but chaos and destruction. All we did was show up, and you're ready to throw is in a dungeon and torture is to death. We are completely innocent." Yukio spat.
Satan looked down at Yukio with an icy glare.
"If that is what you truly believe, then we are done here. I have given you a chance to defend your case." Satan looked at the rest of the council, a few words were shared. "We have taken a vote and decided your fate. Guards, take the humans to the execution chamber. The execution will take place shortly."
The humans screamed and yelled 'no' as the minotaur guards grabbed hold of them.
"Satan wait please!" Yuri grabbed Satan.
"What is it?" He said bitterly.
"Please reconsider! You have to understand, the humans were raised to have these beliefs!"
"That is not my concern."
"Please! My love! Please, take a closer look at those humans." Yuri pleaded with desperation.
"I have looked at them long enough. I want them out of my sight."
"Please. Just take another look!" Satan sighed and turned his head to look at the humans. "Look at who's with them! That's Yukio, our son."
Satan's eyes widened slightly only for a second, then his facial expression went back to normal.
"HALT!" Satan exclaimed.
The guards stopped in their tracks.
"I have changed my mind." The supernatural court looked at Satan with shock and disbelief. "There will be no execution taking place today. This case will be further investigated until we find out how the humans got here." The crowd made sounds of disappointment. "Guards! Take the humans to the dungeon instead."
The guards began to take the humans to the dungeon.
"Execpt for him, in the dark cloak." Satan pointed at Yukio.
The guards nodded and separated Yukio from the rest of the exorcists. Shura and the cram school students were taken to the dungeon while two guards stayed holding on to Yukio.
🤚🤚🛑🛑STOP SCROLLING!!!! 🛑🛑🤚🤚
READ DIS!
Yes the fairy queen is named Sobrya. I wanted to name her Titania but I wanted to avoid a Fairy Tail crossover.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Please leave me ideas for the next chapter, the more detailed the better. Remember, any ideas I end up using gets credit.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Also please leave lots of comments and votes. I struggled to write this chapter with my extreme busy schedule, extreme writers block, depression and all that jazz. On top of that I'm having exams and looking for universities that'll accept my dumb ass self.
This chapter was slowly written over the past months.
And I did NOT bust my ass only to have next to no comments and votes.
So do that.
Also, I find the more comments and votes I get the more motivation I can muster up to update. And for y'all who have been here since the beginning of this ever being published....You know motivation is something I lack.
So vote, unless you don't like this story. But honestly if you didn't like the story why are you still here and why did you read this far?
------------------------------------------------------------------
AND ALSO! Randomly introducing new characters is never a good idea. But Satan's palace can always use more staff! If you want your OC to be featured in this story. Then they can be included as royal staff. Such as butlers, maids, advisors, guards, etc. Wherever seen fit.
It's not a very luxurious job but it'd have your character featured in a fic. And saves me from inventing new characters whenever I need royal staff to fetch something, or say something that goes toward the plot.
If you want your character featured as background character or royal staff. Leave their name, looks, gender pronouns, personality and any other important defining traits about them.
There's no limit to the amount of entries and you can submit more than one character. And again, the creators always get credit for the characters I use.
Thanks!
