The Trial {part 1}

Hey guys!

I'm finally back again with an actual new chapter.

*awkwardly throws confetti* Hooray!
🎉

But before I begin this fanfic I have multiple long ass A/Ns.

YAAAAAYYYY!!

Aren't I just the best!? ⊙﹏⊙

But honestly you should've expected this from me. But hey, better to have a bunch in this one chapter than in a separate update that you think will be a chapter but isn't! (Ya know...like I have been doing)

I do want you to read ALL of them tho. They're important. You can skim if you want.

Ok, here it goes

1. I started writing a Billdip story. Key word STARTED. I have no clue if I'll ever get around to publishing it. So what it's about is Dipper and Mabel return to Gravity Falls years later. They're 19 years old, done their first year of college and their visiting everyone during summer break. They haven't seen each other in a while so everyone is aged up, is different and is doing something with their lives. Mabel and Dipper have grown apart during high school and Mabel is making an attempt to get them to be as close as they once were. During a walk in the woods to have time to himself away from Mabel, his friends, and grunkles. In the woods he finds Bill who is trapped in a human form and is weak from weirdmageddon. So he makes a deal with Bill. Bill stays with them in the shack without the others knowing who he actually is. Pairings are Dipper and Bill (obvi), Mabel and Pacifica, Robbie and Tambry (as it should be), Grenda and Marius (tho I may make her single or dating someone else..). Candy is single, Wendy is single, Soos is with Melody. I may or may not add Pyronica, Tad Strange (demon ver), and Will Cipher. I'm still tweaking the plot.

2. So uhh...I'm still getting comments about shipping.....mainly cuz I forgot to take down the A/Ns... So yeah, the ship I chose is AmaiRin. And a lotta ppl are happy with that because yaoi, duh. But a lotta ppl aren't loving it too, and it's kinda making me somewhat nervous to have this ship in the story if ppl hate the ship. Kinda making me regret not leaving Rin single. Even though when me and my friend were planning the plot of the story, when I first told her how I wanna try to write a Blue Exorcist fic, but I didn't know what to write about. So she helped me with a basic plot, Rin is suicidal, he leaves to Gehenna to escape his past life at true cross. He becomes a demon king and the ship is MephistoRin cuz that's what she shipped. Tho MephistoRin didn't work out because I didn't know how I wanted to have them start to interact. So I changed the ship. But yeah, all these comments about ships and not liking AmaiRin makes me nervous because I do want ppl to enjoy this fic. But there are a lotta comments like, "but they're brothers." Maybe I don't mind because the whole using vessels thing, and like the manga said, the demon kings started out as "concepts" created by Satan. Then developed an ego and assumed human form. But their bodies don't last long so they gotta change up their vessels. So it's like, the body they're using isn't technically related to Rin. It's a little confusing, it makes sense in my mind tho. Like, Amaimon's vessel is a clone created in a lab....But I got the idea from a fic I read where in that fic they were all Satan's sons, but he had them with different mothers.... long story short, those comments about ships don't sit well with me, they make me stress. And I don't deal with stress well... I get physically sick. Like when physics gave me skin dry patches and stomach aches. And this story isn't even focused on romance. You wouldn't even know that Amairin was even the ship of this story. Romance will distract from what the story is actually about.

3. Read my other stories because why not! Like I said before...I wrote a gay story called Dear Diary, about this gay guys diary...so please read it...cover looks like this.

This is my only story that isn't a fan fiction...I tried to write my own story with my own plot and with my own characters....Its not popular at all...

I try to make this story relatable af.

So yeah, brief description. It's about this dude I made up called Mark. As you will probably be able to tell like most of my characters in my stories he's somewhat made up of different parts of my inner personality. He's an only child who lives with his mom because his dead beat dad abandoned him and his mom and left them for a younger prettier woman. Mark got kicked out of several schools and Lakeside is the last school that will take him. He's kinda laid back, kinda has a somewhat "punk" style, piercings and all the cool stuff. Mark has only one friend that he made at the school called Becka who's also relatable as fuck. Mark has some secrets, like he's gay, he has a crush on this guy, and he cuts because he's severely depressed but hides it well.

4. Join my wattpad fam.

All you gotta do is message me and tell me who you wanna be. You also gotta follow me. I always follow for a follow, so by following me you get a free follow back. I also unfollow for an unfollow, so if I notice I lost a follow, I'll find who unfollowed me and unfollow them back. I only need to keep the good ones around. The ones who stay loyal and follow me.

JOIN THE FAM

I have book on here called wattpad fam with all the info you need.

I'm a great mom, and a great sis.

I feel like I'd be that cool mom who never makes a big deal outta things. But I'd wouldn't take shit. I feel like I'd also be a cool teacher...but, I hate school, I'd be depressed if I had to work in one every day...or more depressed than I already am.

Now enjoy the chapter!!!

It's kinda shit, but I felt bad about never getting around to updating on the count I have massive writers block.

5. Again, I'm going back and deleting past A/Ns. And I'm editing this story's past chapters.

6. This story's not first place no more :") it's ok, I knew it wouldn't last.

7. So ya know how I said I was taking a break from writing this story to read the manga? I've just read all of the manga (at least what's out so far)
And I've learned a lot about the demon kings, the Baal Gehenna, Satan & Yuri, and so on. And I would like to incorporate that stuff into here. Except for I found out about Egyn currently having the vessel of a young boy. That or a small cute boy who's a lot older than he looks like Honey from Host Club. It's too late in the story to have Egyn be a small, shy yet evil Lolita boy. I've heard some say Egyn is the only female demon king. Idk if he or she used to be. But the manga has Lucifer say something along the lines of. "This is my little brother, Egyn king of water" Little shy boy in shark costume appears. Is so small and shy but said evil shit in a cute voice. Also, in this story I'm gonna have Azazel NOT be crystalized. I want all demon kings present in this story.

(3rd person p.o.v)

The minotaur guards forcefully threw the exorcists into the torture/execution chamber. Two guards stood by the door, and the rest made sure the exorcists were well chained down to the floor with no chance of escape. As soon as they were locked up the guards left, one guard turned around towards them.

"Four hours" He reminded them. He then turned back around and exited last, then locked the door shut. The two guards remained outside to ensure that no one escaped. The large door made a booming sound as it shut. As the door closed the light slowly drained out of the room until the were surrounded by pitch black. As quickly as the light left the room, so did their hope of ever escaping.
They could hear the deep muffled sounds of the guards voices outside the door. They did not understand the guards words, but one Minotaur seemed to be ordering the others. The only word they understood was 'Satan'. As soon as he was done, they heard loud uniformed footsteps walking away.

"That's it, we're done for." Shima said, slumping down. It was so dark they couldn't even see each others faces.

"We're not dead yet." Shura said. "We can still get out of here."

"No disrespect Ms. Kirigakure, but how? There are bull-people guards standing outside our only exit. We can't see anything, even what's in front of our faces, oh, and we only have 4 hours."

"Don't be so negative Shima, Shura is right, we're not dead yet, I'm sure if we all put our heads together we can find a way to escape." Bon said.

"But-But what if we get caught? Then we-we'd be in even worse trouble." Said Konekomaru.

"Then we just won't get caught."

"If you haven't noticed, we're kinda chained to the floor."

"We're in a torture chamber, I'm sure there's something here that's is sharp enough to cut the chains. Then we can find a way outta this room without being spotted. Then once we're out, we can find a portal that leads back to home." Bon then proceeded to carefully feel around for a weapon sharp enough to cut the chains.

~~~~
Rin watched in horror as his ex-friends got dragged away by Satan's guards. He watched them struggle while the Minotaurs held them into place and put them in cuffs. His face drained in colour, and became even paler than it originally was, which was rather pale.
He was too late.
He paced back and forth worriedly, wondering what this could mean for him. A small part of him wondered what it could mean for the exorcists as well. Before he said that he didn't really care what happened to them, and if they left the palace and got them selves killed, it'd be their own faults. But now he was starting to wonder if he was entirely truthful. A sliver of his cold heart felt a tad bit worried about the humans. He hated them, but he did care for them at some point. Maybe deep down he still cared about them, despite how they all abused him and tortured him emotionally.
Rin went to go find Amaimon and tell him about their arrest. After a while he found Amaimon on top of a building. Rin easily floated up to the top of the building, he stood behind Amaimon, and tapped him on the shoulder. Amaimon looked over his shoulder.
"They found the humans and arrested them before I could get to them."
"I figured they would. Father sees everything that goes on."
"Well we have to catch up to them."
"It's no use to go after them now, they're probably almost there anyways. Now that Father has them there's nothing we can really do about it." He turned away from Rin and stood near the ledge. "I suggest that you just forget about them, they're minced meat. Besides they're just humans, so it doesn't really matter. Let's just go home." Amaimon hopped off of the roof. Rin followed after him, hopping off of the roof.
"They may just be humans, but we can't just let Satan kill them."
"Why not?"
"Because..." not even Rin fully knew why he wanted to save them.
"Because? I don't know why you would want to rescue them. They're awful."
"I know that, I still think I should try to prevent their execution if I can."
"You're too nice. You won't even execute your own subjects when they commit crimes. That's why your dungeons are full."
"I'll have you know I have executed a few criminals." He crossed his arms.
"Oh yeah? How many? 2?"
"No!" He said with a slight blush.
Then suddenly a strong feeling washed over them, like they were being called.
"What was that?"
"We're being summoned" Amaimon said simply.
"Really?" He raised an eyebrow. Being summoned felt awful, the feeling was powerful. When a demon was summoned, they new almost on instinct what was going on, and where they had to go. The feeling was stronger depending on the rank of the demon and how powerful the one who summons is.
However, it was nearly impossible to summon someone with a rank as high as the Baal. Only one could summon demons of the top ranks.
"Father calls us, it looks like we need to head to the palace. I think it's really important."
"It's about the humans being here isn't it. I knew it, I'm done for."
"You'll be fine. Your human friends may not be. Now let's go."
~~~~

You see, a hearing in demon court was not like one in a regular human court.
In Gehenna, only the most important figures, gathered around in the large palace court room.

They all discussed what course of action should be taken. This applied to both making and passing laws and criminal hearings. All who attended court had a chance to voice their opinion and reason for action. Although Demon Kings and any other royalty got most word. The one being persecuted were only allowed one chance to explain themselves, but that was only if Satan was feeling somewhat generous. Other than that, they were only allowed to speak if asked a question by the court. Ultimately Satan was the one to have the final and absolute decision of what should be done. No one was allowed to argue with him.

Those being charged were not given a lawyer or anyone to defend them. It was up to the court to decide if they were guiltly or not and give evidence. And evidence was not always needed. However, in huge cases like this that could potentially effect other dimensions besides Gehenna alone, all rulers apart of the Supernatural Court were involved and had as much say as Satan. Which is why a vote was needed to decide the fate of the accused. And death penalty was an option, and was most often decided too. For they showed no mercy to those who broke the law. To them, the law was sacred. Unlike humans breaking a law could rarely ever be justified. Satan was the one who dealt with actually acting on punishments once they were decided. As he was more than willing to take care of people. He found joy and pleasure in torturing souls.

The court room quickly started to fill up as people flooded into the palace. Demon royalty from all over Gehenna started to make their way to Satan's palace in Ente Isla.

[A/N: at the top I have a picture I drew of the court room. It's a quick scribble...I can draw better I swear! I was just being lazy. Anywho, it gives you an idea of how the court room is laid out. Just because I suck at describing things]

All nine demon kings were almost immediately summoned to court. They knew that this could mean nothing good.

Once they had arrived they took their reserved seatings near the front. They would have a better view of the trial taking place than anyone else.
Because of their ranking on the hierarchy they would get most word than anyone else attending. Well, besides the judges that is.

Turned to see Queen Proserpine and her daughter, Belladonna. Prosperine was a powerful and ancient demoness. She has such great power, some religions view her as the true queen of the underworld. Satan being the demon God and above her, and true ruler of the underworld represented all demons in the supernatural court. Her say during trial was extremely important as well however. She came looking as prim and proper, and menacing as always. Her daughter looking almost every bit as menacing and powerful too. Belladonna was about the same age as Astaroth, which was relatively young for demons. A teenager in the eyes of Gehennans.

Then came Asmodeus, king of lust. He took his respectful seat in the front row, and sat next to the young princess. He shot her a dazzling smile to which she scoffed and turned her body away from him. More and more magical beings of high ranks filled the room until all who were summoned were present.

Trials were about to begin soon.

~~~~
Bon felt around in the dark.
He was unable to move far with the restrictions he had on his wrists and ankles.
"Give it up already Bon." Shima signed, slouching against the hard stone wall. "You've been feeling around for what, an hour? Two hours? You're not gonna find anything." He closed his eyes, not that it'd make much difference since eyes opened or closed, all he saw was black. "It's hopeless, we're gonna die."
"Well with that attitude we might."
"No, Shima's right. It's no use." Shura said.
"Eh??" Bon wore a look of shock and confusion. "I thought we were on the same side here. Don't tell me you lost hope too!"
"You've been trying to get outta those cuffs for hours. At this point I don't think we're gonna get out. They said we got four hours until they come back for us. I say we wait it out. Maybe we can try and escape after they let us out."
"That didn't work the first time when they dragged us here! We gotta get out before they come back! Or there's no way we have a chance at survival."
"Now seems like a very bad time to say this. But we're going to-to die anyways!" Koneko said.
"I-I told you so!!"
There was silence.
"I said that we shouldn't have gone through the portal! An-and I said tha-that we shouldn't have left the palace! I also said that the-the demons would hurt us. Bu-but nooo. You guys didn't listen to me. You-you never listen to me! Now we're all go-going to parish!"
The others were all shocked at his outburst.
"We do listen to you Koneko." Bon said.
"No-no you don't! I always ju-just follow you around and do what you say. Bon is the leader. He's always been our leader. I always do what Bon tells me to do. But look where that has left me. In a cell, waiting to get-get executed by a bunch of demons. Which I said they would kill us. But you gu-guys don't listen to me or what I have to say about things."
"...."
"...."
"Geez, I didn't know that you felt that way." Bon said feeling bad. "If you felt that you weren't being listened to you should've spoken up sooner."
"We-well we are about to die. Now would be the best time to confess."
"But what if we don't die." Shiemi spoke up for the first time in a while. "I'm sure Rin will come and save us."
"He's not coming!" Konekomaru said with a frustrated voice. "He's on their side remember?"
"Rin is still good!" She defended. "If Rin were bad then he would've let those guards kill us as soon as we were brought to the palace. But he didn't. Instead he gave us a place to stay, a comfy bed, food, and clothes. Even though we were terrible to him and probably don't deserve it. He's still a good person. I don't think he will let us die. I know he won't. I have full faith in Rin."
~~~~~

The crowed was loud with chatter as they discussed what the issue could possibly be, but they knew it was serious with the entire Super Natural Court present.

Rin stood there as stiff as a board, with a few droplets of nervous sweat dripping down the side of his face. He looked straight forward. He didn't move a muscle or turn his head to look directly at anyone.

"Calm down. It's not like it's you who's on trial." Amaimon looked at him calmly.

"Yeah but I hid them instead of reporting them. I'm an accessory to the crime." He said with a strained voice.

"I told you you should've killed them-"

"-you're not helping."

Rin was now dressed more formal for the occasion, he had to look serious and professional when defending his "friends".

"What if I get in really huge trouble."

"You can't get in any more trouble than Samael. He defended the entire human race and gave them knowledge on how to fight us."

"What was his punishment?"

"Eternal banishment and disownment." He said casually.

Rin went pale.

"Like I said, can't be worse than his punishment."

Rin didn't want to be disowned like Mephisto and Yukio...not that Yukio was aware of his disownment.

"You won't be disowned. I've done worse things than what you did by helping Samael. And I have yet to be disowned by Father."

"...OK" Rin said unsure. "I'm choosing to believe you."

"Good. If it makes you feel better I'll vote for not guilty I guess..."

"You'd do that? I thought you said that they should've been executed?" Rin's eyes were wide.

"Well they should have. They've caused too much problems already. Even before they stumbled into this dimension, somehow without being destroyed." Rin looked at Amaimon.

"I don't know why you want to help them. Even after all they have done to you. But if having them be not burned alive by Father is what you want, then I'll help I guess..."

Rin smiled softly.

"Are you sure that part of you doesn't want to help them too?" Rin poked.

"Eeh. I'm neutral. I don't really hate them as much as Lucifer which is to the extreme."
Rin's smile dropped, he was right. Lucifer, Iblis, and Egyn, although they were great and caring older brothers, hated humans to the extreme. It would be hard to go against them in court. Not to mention the level of disappointment they have towards him when he defends the exicists, enemies to Gehenna.
"But I don't love them as much as Samael and Azazel to the point I'd go out of my way to defend them.

That was also true, they had Mephisto and Azazel to help defend the humans. The Kings of Time and Spirits were on humanity's side.
They founded True Cross and gave knowledge to humans on how to defeat demons. To give them a fighting chance. The only question is if they gave them too much of a fighting chance. Because even innocent demons get exocized just about every day. It also got Mephisto on Satan's bad side since what he did resulted in the death of his kin. Azazel, in simple terms, had Satan let a few things slide. Because he still kept quite a few connections in Gehenna. Although he was on humanity's side, he still cared for and defended people in Gehenna. He was also a lower level and younger demon than Samael, and therefore Samael should know better.

However, the exorcist broke a major law in Gehenna and therefore it'll be very hard to defend them. They'd have to get the majority of peoples vote. Which will be difficult when just about everyone in the room hates humans. And those who like humans to a degree are lower level or not trusted entirely by the court.

They were going to need a miracle to win the case.

~~~
They had been in the cell for hours and were without a doubt, running out of time.
Their eyes had somewhat adjusted to the dark, but they still could not see to far ahead of them. They could only sort of see the others next to them.
Bon had not given up on feeling around for a way out.
They sat in awkward silence, the only sound was the clank of mental and the clinging sound of the rustling chains as Bon moved about. The others had long given up hope on ever escaping. Their four hours felt like an eternity and it seemed that they'd never get out. But in truth their time was rapidly running short.
Four hours for a human can be a rather long time when waiting for something to happen. Or it could feel incredibly short. Time was a funny concept made up by humans. Four hours to a demon felt like the amount if time it took to blink.
The others laid around lethargically, in a depressive state knowing that there's a possibility that they'd be brought to execution once let out of the horid cell.
No one had really spoken up since Konekomaru's outburst and that argument on whether Rin would help them or not.
"For the hundredth time Bon. Give it up!" Shima whined. "This is starting to become pathetic watching you try. And frankly, quite annoying too!"
"I...will not..." He said through sounds of struggle and grunts "give up...I...never give up...no one ever got anywhere by giving up."
"Well sometimes it's good to know when to quit." Said Izumo.
"Huh...hrg...funny ..ngh...coming from the one who said she doesn't know when to quit."
"Yeah, well, back then I wasn't trapped in a dark torture chamber. Surrounded by idiots, waiting for a group of demon royalty to decide whether they think I should get to live or not."
Bon chose to disregard being called an idiot given their current situation. It wasn't any time to argue.
"All the more situation to not give up."
Izumo rolled her eyes at him and looked the other direction.
"A ha!" Bon piped up a few minutes later. "I found something. It feels like...an Axe!"
The others eyes widend.
They didn't think he'd actually find something.
Bon moved himself into an uncomfortable position that worked. He struggled but found a way to hold the Axe. He carefully lifted the Axe and brought it down onto the change.
Where he struck the change glowed blue and sparked a light.
The chain was still intact.
"Wha-?" Bon was confused. He his the chain again and again and again, only to get the same result.
"Why *strike* won't *strike* this *strike* stupid *strike* chain *strike* break!" He said between each slice.
"Looks like there's a charm on the chain. They probably anticipated we'd try to break it."
"Of course there is." Izumo said with a sigh. "Did we really think that Satan would be so stupid as to chain us up and lock us in cell with tons of weapons to help us escape. Of course he did something to make sure we didn't leave."
Bon finally sat down defeated.
"No." He said disappointed. "No no no." He groaned.
"So you finally give up?" Said Shima in a monotone voice.
"No." Bon looked around. "There's gotta be another way out."
"There isn't!" Shima whined. He couldn't take anymore of Bon attempting to escape and failing, and attempting to escape again.
Yukio watched in silence as his students argued and Bon tried to escape. Yukio had remained silent the entire time. He sat in darkness contemplating in his head.
[A/N: me currently while writing this (sings): I be thinking in my bed I be thinking in my bed. Lots of things in my head contemplating in my head....*mumbles next part* *deep breath* I WANNA FLYYYYYY BUT I JUST CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU! YEAH YOU MAKE ME CRYYYYYYY. BUT I KNOW THAT I JUST CAN'T HURT YOU!!!]
"There's got to be a way out!* Bon exclaimed. Yukio sighed and looked away.
"He raised you to hate demons. He raised Rin to hate demons. He raised you to hate yourselves for what you are! You hate yourself for being our son don't you?"
He could still hear his mothers crying voice in his head.
"And you hate your brother for being the one to inherit your father's abilities. My poor baby, everyone was so horrible to him. No mother wants to watch her children suffer. Be stuck behind the sidelines while life beats down on her kids. No mother wants one of her own children to torture the other."
"A child's bad behaviour can only be blamed on bad upbringing."
She wasn't entirely wrong, was all Yukio could think to himself. And there was something about hearing those words from his own mother that struck something deep inside him.
He did hate himself for being connected to Satan
"I never wanted you to work away your childhood. I wanted you to have a normal childhood, where you'd eventually grow up and decide what and who you wanted to be. But you were harshly shoved into adult hood"
He did hate that he worked away his childhood. It was pure torture watching Rin get to run around outside, and play games, and live a normal childhood. He hated how Rin got to live oblivious to who he really was and his dark background while Yukio was burdened with this knowledge at a young age.
Growing up everything was about Rin.
We need to work hard to protect Rin.
Shiro was focused his love and attention on Rin.
What was so great about Rin?
Why could Rin always do what she couldn't?
Why was Rin always the stronger twin?
And just when Yukio gains strength and power, becoming a successful exorcist, Rin unlocks his powers and gains more strength. And over shadows him yet again.
Even after the death of their father, which Rin caused, the focus was still on Rin. We need to train Rin so that he doesn't get executed. We have to protect Rin from the demons that come after him.
What was so special about Rin?
Rin was a joke.
He never took anything seriously.
He was careless, and reckless and most of all dangerous.
Rin was a monster.
Rin left true cross, betrayed them, and joined Satan. But somehow he's still loved by all the others, they still think he's this great person. Why?
And instead of punishment for his betrayal and receiving a consequence to running away, what does he get? More power? And money? And a kingdom!
Rin singlehandedly ruined Yukio's life, but he's still treated like a monster for not wanting to apologize to him for something he deserved. They all talk about how Rin suffered. What about how he suffered?
He's weak, he's constantly being overshadowed by his dimwitted brother who even though is older acts like he's 6. He always has to work his ass off while he he watched Rin relax and sleep all day. His only father figure was dead because of Rin. He has to suffer knowing the truth about his heritage. And though being cursed with his bloodline he doesn't even get any power which would be the one good thing to come from it. But his brother gets power. And now he's a monster for being upset about it.
And even though he's in the right to act how he acts and feels how he feels, he can't help but feel a small pang of guilt by the way the others berate him. Everyone always seemed to blame him for Rin leaving. Even his mother seemed to believe that Yukio was the reason Rin left. And she wasn't even there.
And now if things couldn't get worse he was about to possibly get executed by Satan.
Life really was out to get him.
~~~~

"Settle yourselves." Said a loud yet graceful voice.

Almost immediately, all the murmuring stopped. All attention was directed towards the Fae queen.

"Trial is about to commence."

Everyone was in their respective seat and remained silence.

"It seems as though there has.. Been a breach in our universes." She said slowling and clearly in a calm and collected voice. There were a few gasps and people started chatting amongst themselves again in a frenzy.

"Settle down, settle down."

The voices had seized except for a few whispers here and there.

"Satan will speak now." She said taking her seat. All attention was now directed towards the demon God.

"Something terrible has happened. One of the greatest laws of the multiverse has been broken!" He said dramatically, with rage seeping in his voice. With that the demons were in a frenzy again. If Satan says something horrible has happened it really just be catastrophic. "LIVING humans have entered the underworld!"

The demons were raging, they were in even more of a frenzy than before.

"This trial is to see whether they should get to live, or if they should be executed." With emphasis on the word execute, as if hinting that that is what he wanted and trying to persuade the crowd. However, this needed to be voted on and Satan alone wasn't allowed to decide.

The crowd roared.

"Execute them!" They yelled.

"Kill them!"

"No mercy!"

Satan seemed pleased with the crowds answer showing a slight smirk.

Yuri broke out into a nervous sweat. She wondered if Satan really got a good look at the humans and realized exactly who he may be executing. Or if the reason he wants the execution so bad is because of any hurt feelings he has deep down from his child's betrayal.

"Bring fourth the offenders!" The crowed yelled even louder than before.

"Satan." Yuri whispered.

"Not now Yuri, trials about to begin."

"It's about the trial. About the offenders."

"Anything you have to say about the offenders will be said during the trial. I know this is your first trial like this, I'll walk you through it."

Yuri pouted and sunk a little in her seat as the anxiety stuck in.

She would not let her child die.

Not today.

The guards marched uniformly out of the room and towards the torture chamber.

~~~~~
"Are you done yet?" Izumo said with a bored expression.
"Nope." Said Bon still trying to escape.
"You know what? I hope they come for us soon, I can't take much more of this. Execution sounds like a dream compared to this."
Then there was a booming sound of the door being slammed open. Six guards came rushing in.
"Ahh! Now look what you did Izumo! Your words brought them sooner!" Shima yelled in a rushed voice.
They removed the ankle chains but kept the cuffs, they then yanked the exorcists to their feet and dragged them out the door.
"Ow! Not so rough!" Shima whined.
"Shut it, human!"
One guard locked the door behind them.
"We must protect the weapons." He said.
They were carried out of the torture chamber and into the hall where the trial would take place. As the guards opened the large doors they were met immediately met with the deafening sound screeching and hollering. People booed as they walk down the hall.
The guards lead them to a stand in the middle of the room, once there one guard stood at each side of them since sometimes people had a tendency to run from the trial to avoid whatever fate was given.
Satan silenced the crowds leaned forward in his throne.
He slowly clasped his hands together folding over one finger at a time.
The silence crowd and the court waited for him to speak. He just stare at the humans, eyes half lidded and with a sly grin.
"Do you know why you're here?" He leaned forward and rested his chin on his fist.
"Before you make any rash decisions- " Shura started.
"SILENCE PUNY WORTHLESS HUMAN!" His voice rang throughout the room. "You speak when I tell you!"
"But you asked us a question"
"SHUT UP! It was a rhetorical question."
He sat up straight once again.
"Don't look so smug, mortals. You have no idea how much trouble you are in right now, or the weight of your crime. You have not only broken a law of my kingdom. But a law of all kingdoms, the law of the multiverse, the law of nature. You, humans, willfully passed into the underworld, alive. And now your punishment shall be decided. But no matter the outcome of this trial, don't think you will be let go scotch free. No matter what the vote is, you will suffer in some shape or form. I'll make sure of it." His face becoming dark at the last sentence.
"Since you are all insolent and ignorant, hold zero knowledge of any worlds beyond your own and therefore and know nothing of our customs. I shall briefly tell you how this goes and I expect your utmost respect in return. You will all get a chance to speak, but that will not be now. However, when you do speak it is only once and kept short, so choose your words wisely. I hope you were paying attention because I hate to repeat myself. The rest of the court and the jury will decide your punishment and if you should be held accountable for your actions. Step out of line once and I shall burn you alive instantly." He directed his gaze towards someone in the audience. "Queen Proserpine shall speak first." A lady stood up from her seat, she made her way to the front. Lady Proserpine stood tall and elegantly. Although something about her struck fear in the hearts of those who saw her.
"I say the offenders are guilty. They shall accept full weight of their wrong doings to our beautiful land. Punishment I feel would suffice...
Immediate execution."
OKAY!!
YIKES!!
All those A/Ns I posted before! This is exactly what happened with my last fanfiction! Near the end all I did was post A/Ns instead of actual chapters. Then eventually I just gave up on the fanfiction. That story is discontinued for good tho now....
In the even I ever decide to call it quits on this fanfictions which I've always done with almost every story I've ever written. I will give you a break down of the plot I had in mind. That way you won't be in suspense forever.
But hopefully I don't abandon it.
But I will need all of your encouragement. What fuels my writing is sadly guilt. If plenty of people read and comment and vote on my stuff, and seem to really like it, I'll feel bad if I abandon it.
I will complete this story.
I will I will I will! I'm determined to!
Come one Alex! You're a little over halfway done the story! Bout 2/3s done! Don't quit now!
I got a message asking when I'll be posting a new chapter. That kinda guilted me into actually picking my lazy ass up and pushing to finish this update!
But what'd you think of the new chapter?
Worth the wait, right??
Of course it wasn't! ⊙ω⊙
Yeah, so sorry for the long wait...
1. I had writers block
2. Some stuff is happening in mah life rn.
It isn't really necessary to read this part. Only if you're interested in actual demonology.
Asmodeus: Demon king in Christian mythology. King of lust, he is like a second devil. Those who fall to his ways are sentenced to an eternity in the second layer of Hell.
Belladonna: That name just came up when I searched up evil names for demons. It is an Italian name that means beautiful woman. But it also means deadly nightshade. Fiting for the daughter of demon goddess depicted as a very beautiful woman, and is associated with growing crops and nature.
Proserpine: Goddess of the Underworld in Roman mythology. She's the equivalent to Persephone.
Like how Hades kidnapped Persephone to force her to be his wife.
Pluto kidnapped Proserpine to make her become his wife.
But like....Hades is like the Greek version of Satan. So idk if I want her to be one of Satan's past wives cuz the demon kings have different moms...
Or if I want Pluto to be like a separate side character who we know of but never really meet.
Things may be complicated if Satan's ex wife shows up...
I read that Satan's wife (possibly his first) was a woman names Lilith who used to be married to Adam before there was an Eve[?] I hope I interpreted the text right. But she turned against God, left Adam, joined Satan, and Satan married her...
But in this fanfic Yuri is his current wife.
But by the logic of actual religious mythology and the logic of Blue Exorcist (which is based off real demons from different religions but it isn't really religiously accurate.) would Lilith be Lucifer's mom?
And why did Satan's marriages end so badly...?
(Yet again in the anime it said Yuri changed Satan....)
Idk..I like my fics to be accurate tho.
Especially cuz I actually am very interested in fantasy, mythology, demonology etc.....
That stuff fascinates me, idk why.
Religion is interesting:]
Oh yeah, and sorry for any typos. I wrote some of this on my phone at school with their crappy wifi. And my phone is glitching because it's old and outta storage plus I think something up with the autocorrect. It isn't as good as what I have on my tablet. I write this story on my iPad mini mostly.
Again, sorry for the wait, I'll try to update again soon.
Bye!!
<3 love Alex, or Kitten, author -san, y'all can decide what to call me.
