Chapter 21

I could t think of a name that suited this, I'll come up with one later. Maybe you guys can name it.

I had a whole bunch of ideas for a new chapter, it was going to be one really large chapter. But I didn't like how it would've turned out, or faded into the next scene, so I divided it into 3, thousand word chapters instead of 1, three thousand word chapter. That makes sense? I think.
Then I realized the idea I thought of for this chapter has kinda been done...it's like a combination of many other fics I read but kinda different at the same time. But I guess the idea of Rin being a demon king has also already been done...
So Imma do it, this one may suck.
Sorry if this chapter gets a tad bit confusing, it's constantly cutting between Assiah and Gahenna.

Plus, this chapter may suck ass

(3rd person)

Mephisto had just pushed them out of his office and into the hall.
They headed back to the cram school class, they were no longer excused from classes starting tomorrow. They internally groaned at the thought of all the work they'd have to get caught up on. Izumo wasn't worried because each night she got notes from Paku on all the things she missed in class.

"What does he mean the mission was canceled?!" Bon exclaimed. By now they were back in the class. Yukio looked through his binder for ideas for a lesson to teach, he had no lesson plan since their main priority was the mission and it was suddenly canceled with no warning. "They tell us some dangerous monster is rampaging through town, tell us to help them hunt it down, and then suddenly they tell us oh, never mind?!"

"Yeah, what was that all about?" Shima asked. "I'm kinda iffy about all of this guys. Bon is right, why was the mission suddenly canceled like that?"

"Mmmm, maybe because we were told to help Rin on the mission, and now he's not here anymore, so it was called off?" Izumo said, though she was wondering herself, that whole meeting with the Head Master was kinda sketchy. Again, when is the Head Master not acting sketchy? "They did say countless times that it was their mission and not ours."

"Sir Pheles gave us all that mission, therefore it was ours." Bon argued. "It makes no sense...." Bon wondered to himself stroking his chin with his thumb. "Something is going on here, they're not telling us, and I'm gonna get to the bottom of this."

"Wait, what?" Konekomaru asked. "What are you insinuating Bon?"

"I gotta find out what the hell is going on!" He threw his arms up in frustration.

"Are you sure that's a good idea Bon?" Shima said. "I wouldn't mess with this. The mission was probably canceled for a good reason. Maybe the demon was too deadly and they're only sending the top ranked."

"Are you saying that we are not qualified for this mission? Because we are. We've been doing this for a while now."

"Not as long as the higher ranks. They're higher ranked for a reason, they're more skilled and have more experience."

"What about that time Satan attacked True Cross? Or that other time we stopped the Impure King from spreading his disease across the whole entire globe?"

"Both of those things we did while Rin was still here. We wouldn't have done any of those things without Rin. He's the one who defeated Satan AND the impure king, not us, if you're forgetting." Izumo pointed out. "Without him, we would've all died in both of those situations."

"We played part in that too."

"Oh, did we really? Were we the ones that exploded into blue flames and blew them into oblivion? Maybe we did play part in defeating them, but it wasn't us who caused the final blow. If this creature really is as powerful as they say it is, maybe we can't do anything about it."

The class was silent for a moment.

"That doesn't mean, that we should just sit back and do nothing. If there's anything we can do to help, we should, even if it's not us that delivers the final blow."

~*~*~*~

By now Rin was back in his own Palace in the Shadow kingdom. He was resting in his bed just as they instructed him to do. It felt so good to be back in his own bed in his own home. It was a thousand times comfier than the beds back in that dorm he had been staying in him. It made him appreciate his home so much more, he hadn't felt such appreciation for Gahenna since he first came over 250 years ago. Even then he didn't feel such appreciation as he did now. Then he was too depressed and lethargic go really care about anything. And he had always been raised to hate demons so he didn't know exactly how to feel about being in Satan's palace. He felt, conflicted almost. He was taught to hate demons and Satan. And he was taught to be ashamed of his demonic heritage. But there he was being treated with respect and welcomed with opened arms by the very people he was taught to hate. Eventually he came to appreciate and grow attached to his new home.
He was very unfamiliar to this feeling. The comforting and relieving feeling to return home after a long time of being away. He never felt that way on Assiah. He never felt joy to return home, that's why he stayed out as long as possible. Of course he paid the price for coming home so late later when he finally arrived home.

Part of him also felt uneasy and confused. Why were his brothers so surprised to find that he uncovered so much information for their mission? Did they not think he was capable of doing so? It sort of made sense, Rin always noticed how his brothers always went the easiest on him. They treated him nicer, and they weren't as rough with him in battle practice. Was it because he was like the baby of the family? Did they still view him as a child. Because that's what it felt like. It felt like everyone thought of him as a child. His older brothers were very protective of him. Satan always kept him extremely supervised, guards were always escorting him everywhere. Someone always went along with him whenever he left the castle. Father made Amaimon come with him when he went to Assiah, he almost didn't let him leave Gahenna at all. He tossed and turned in his bed unable to go to sleep. So he decided not to sleep at all. He got up from his bed and went towards his throne room. He took a seat on his large throne and summoned the all seeing eye which he would use to keep watch of his entire kingdom.

*~*~*~*

"Are you sure this is a good idea Bon?" Konekomaru asked.

"Yes I'm sure." He had a determined look on his face.

So the exorcists in training decided to take initiative and figure out themselves what was going on. Or Bon did, and the others just followed him. They didn't know why The Headmaster just canceled the mission for them. They didn't know if the mission was called off for everyone, or just for them. But they heard that other groups were still searching regardless, so that's what they were going to do.
They had set out in the forests of True Cross where there search has primarily taken place. Konekomaru and Shiemi were very reluctant to agree but ultimately followed Bon since they now viewed him like a leader.
Izumo knew this wasn't a good idea either but agreed to come since she had 'nothing else to lose'.
They were deep into the forest now looking around for anything suspicious. He knew that the creature must still be out there and he didn't know why they canceled the mission. Izumo insisted it was because the two demon kings no longer needed their help, if they even needed it in the first place.
They were all dismissed from class since there was no real lesson plan for that day and there was no sense in keeping them there.
After class Bon came up with the bright idea to finish the mission on their own without the higher ups involved. He thought it was a good why to quench their thirst for the absolute truth, and to prove that they were capable of so much more than what people thought.

~*~*~*~

Rin heard someone enter the palace, he looked up for moment from the seeing eye expecting to see Amaimon since he was the only one who randomly dropped by. To his surprise the person who dropped by was Beele.

"Beele." He said with widened eyes. "What are you doing here? You never come to visit me." Rin said waving his hands through the seeing eye spell causing it to disappear.

"I came here to check up on you." He said walking towards him. "I thought you were supposed to be resting."

"I wasn't tired."

"But still, you need a break after what you've been through. Missions are stressful, and humans are even more stressful." He said with a smile.

"What about you guys, I didn't see you taking a break after getting back."

"We got back before you guys, we did have time to regenerate." He stood next to the throne. He propped his elbows up on the arm of the chair and looked up at Rin. "What's the matter little bro?" He asked with a smile, although there was concern in his yellow eyes. His insect like wings were drooping down. "You look like something's on your mind."

"Nothing is wrong." He made the seeing eye reappear and when back to supervising his kingdom.

"Don't give me any of that, I want the truth." His eyes darkening with anger. Rin felt his throat tighten as he looked at his older brothers dark stare as if looking into his soul. He knew it was best to just tell him.

He let out a sigh. "Why do you guys treat me like child?"

"What are you talking about."

"Ugh, you know what I'm talking about." He groaned. "You guys treat me like a- like a little kid. You all go really easy on me, and you expect little of me, and won't let me go anywhere all by myself. I always have to be supervised at all times. I've been here for 250 years now and you still make guards follow me around when I leave the palace." He frowned. "You guys treat me like a little kid, I know I'm a lot younger than you guys, but I'm perfectly fine of taking care of myself, "I've been doing it my whole life." He said the last part more to himself.

Beelzebub let out a sigh. "We don't think of you like a child, ok, maybe we do a little bit, but that's because other demons your age are little children. But that's not it."

"If it's not it then why don't you trust me to go anywhere by myself. It's not because I'm royalty or some crap like that because you guys don't get followed around whenever you leave your homes! Why won't you let me go places by myself? Why do you go easy on me in battles? It's not fair!"

"That's not it Rin!"

"Then what is it?! Tell me!"

"It's because you're part human!" Rin was taken back by this.

"W-what?" Beelzebub let out a sigh.

"It's because, you're part human. You're not like the rest of us. You're not built like us, you don't have the exact same capabilities of us, you don't think like us..."

"So, you treat me this way, because you think I'm weak since I'm part human...?" He frowned and his tail drooped.

"What? It didn't say you're weak, you're definitely not weak that's for sure. Last time we battled it took three days for my wings to regenerate. I said, it's because of your human side. You weren't brought up the same as us. You think, feel and act differently from everyone else."

"If it's not because you think I'm weak, then why? Why am I treated differently from the rest of you?"

"The reason why we ease up on you, and always supervise you is- it's because father is afraid you'll leave."Rin looked at him surprised and confused. "Thinks that if we don't do this, you'll want to leave and return to Assiah.

"W-why?"

"I don't know, because he actually cares about his children and wants them to be in the same dimension he's in?"

"..but then why is he only concerned about me leaving?"

"You know, you're part human, you'll miss the other humans and want to return to Assiah?" Rin just looked at him confused. "The rest of us are full demons, and we have kingdoms to run, we're always gonna end up back here eventually." He rolled his eyes.

"But what about Samael? That didn't stop him from leaving."

"U-uh, well...all the more reason to be concerned then!" He let out a nervous laugh. "Ok, what parent wouldn't want their child to stay. And besides, you just got here! We can't just have you leaving us. Wouldn't want another repeat of what happened with Samael...." He muttered the last part.

"What makes you guys think I'll leave? You think if I don't get pampered and monitored 24/7 I'll run back to the same people who betrayed me? It's horrible in Assiah."

"Oh I know, I've been.."

"Then you guys don't have to worry about me leaving." Rin smiled. "You can tell father that too."

"Oh, he's Satan, I'm sure he already knows by now." Rin looked at him with a tad perplexed look. "Eyes everywhere, remember?"

{Next Day: In Assiah}

Yukio walked into the classroom, he had his folders and briefcase and a complete lesson planned for the day. He had gotten a bit more sleep than he had last night and woken up bright and early and fixed himself up. He still felt a little guilt pulling at his heart strings, but he pushed that aside and put a smile on his face for his students.

"Good afternoon class, I hope you've had time to settle yourselves down because I have a nice and long but very important lesson planned for today about... different ...categories of hauntings...." He looked around surprised to see that nobody was in class but Shura leaning on a desk eating a bag of chips. "Shura, what is going on here, where is the class?"

"They're out doing some mission or somethin' like that.." She muttered stuffing her face.

"What do you mean!?" Yukio grit his teeth with an irked expression.

"Hey, I thought this could be good practice, and experience for the real world."

"And you didn't go with them?" He seethed clenching his fist.

"On a real important missions they won't have people looking over them." She popped another chip in her mouth. "They may still be in training but they're not just little exwires anymore. Now they're a group of Tamers, and Aria's and Dragoon's and what's not." She spoke with a mouth full of salty potato chips. "They need this experience, going on missions on their own, if their ranks will ever be raised. They're barely lower 2nd class. They're gonna be in training forever at this rate." She said. Yukio wore a frustrated look.

"Well we are still their educators meaning we are responsible and need to keep track of them and make sure they're safe. We need to catch up to them now or we risk something happening to one of them." Shura groaned and got up.

"Fiiine." She groaned.

"Come one." He dropped his lesson stuff and sped walk out the class. He hopped to God that they didn't travel too far off campus.

*~*~*~*

"U-umm, Bon, don't mind me asking b-but..where are we exactly?" Shiemi looked around at her surroundings, they were surrounded by tall trees that blocked out most of the sunlight and she was positive that she had never been in this part of the woods before.

"Yeah Suguro, where are we?" Izumo crossed her arms.

"What's going on?" Shiemi asked looking all around her.

"What's going on is Bon over here, got us all lost!"

"Hey, we're not lost! I know exactly where we are!"

"Oh really?"

"Yes really, we came from that way!" He said pointing to his right.

"Wait, didn't we come from that way?" Shima said pointing in a different direction.

"UUURGGH! Damn it Renzo! Now you made me all confused!"

"I knew it was a bad idea for us to come out here." Konekomaru said softly.

"This is all your fault! You lead us out here!" Izumo yelled. The two of them broke into a fight and started yelling at each other about if it was Bin's fault they were lost or not.

"There you guys are!"

"Yuki!" Shiemi ran up to Yukio and gave him a hug. "You found us, I thought we were lost for good!"

"We were looking all over for you guys! What were you thinking? And why aren't you in class?!"

"The creature is still out here sensei! We need to do our part to find it!"

Yukio let out an exasperated sigh. "That mission was canceled Bon, as in we're not to worry about it anymore."

"Aren't you the slightest bit curious on why such an important mission was just suddenly called off? First they tell us we're in danger because some demon is on the loose and we all need to find it, and then they're just telling us not to worry about it anymore?"

"Well maybe it was a false alarm-"

"What about all those portals they found left open?? What about all those high levels of demonic energy?? And two demon kings appearing who seem to be concerned about it too?? Demon kings! Was all of this just some false alarm? Somethings going on! Something big! Something they don't want us to know about-"

"They probably want to keep the information to themselves for a good reason-"

"-a good reason, or a selfish reason? How don't we know that all of this isn't just part of some grand scheme?"

Yukio was taken back by this. Rin had said something about all of this being part of The Grigori's 'master plan'. Was all of this chaos now going on also apart of said plan? Maybe his higher ups where keeping something from them...

"Fine. But we will are attending this mission of yours with you to make sure everything is kept under control. Bon smiled and nodded.

"U-umm..you guys?" Shiemi spoke softly. "What's that over there?" She pointed off at a distance. There behind a few bushes was some kind of glowing light.

"I don't know, good eye Shi." Bon slowly went in the direction of the light source.

"Wait! Don't go over there! It could be dangerous!" Yukio reached out and tried to stop him. Bon paid him no mind and continued to follow the light. He walked through the bushes, and what he saw made his jaw drop.

The other ExWires came up behind him to see the source of the light.

"Bon, what is...it." Shura's eyes widened.

"W-what is that thing?" Konekomaru asked shaking slightly. Bon stepped closer to it. "Don't move towards it!" He grabbed Bon's sleeve to prevent him from going any closer.

A bright swirling mist was before them, it was almost like a small tear in the universe.

"It's- a portal..." Shura said.

"A-a portal! What's a portal doing near the academy?!" Konekomaru asked.

"How else would demons come to and from Assiah?" Izumo said matter of factly. "But why is it still left open? Unless something traveled through it recently..."

"Let's see where it goes." Bon said about to step through.

"Woah woah woah!" Shura grabbed Bon by the shoulder. "Not so fast there buddy, you don't know where this portal leads to! Never a good idea to just walk through a random portal." Bon removed her hand from his shoulder

"This could be the answer to everything that's going on!" He turned towards the others. "I have to know where this goes."

"Are you insane Bon!" Konekomaru exclaimed.

"Hey, traveling to another dimension is the chance of a life time, I'm not about to pass up this opportunity."

"That's the dumbest thing I ever heard." Izumo said. "But he's right, I'm in. You don't get the chance to travel to another realm everyday."

"Absolutely not!" Yukio said. "It is dangerous and - and insane and outrageous! You're both out of your mind if you think I'll let any of you go through this portal." Bon stared at Yukio before saluting and walking through anyways. "RYUJI!"

"See ya later guys!" Izumo walked into the portal as well.

"Miss Kamiki!" Shiemi yelled as she reached out to stop her but was too late.

"Uuuuhg! This is bad! This is really, really bad!" Yukio said grabbing a fist full of his hair. "None of you go in there!" He said looking at the other students. He stepped forward towards the portal.

"Woah chicken butt! Where do ya think yer going?" Shura stopped him.

"After my students." He said with a determined look. "They're my responsibility and I have to make sure they return safely."

"And what about you and your safety? You don't know what's in the other side of that portal! Send a specialist to go there after them."

"A specialist? As their teacher I'm responsible for what happens to them, watch the others for me until we get back."

"Yukio wait!" Yukio turned and walked into the portal after his students.

"Uuuuuuuhg." She groaned. "They're gonna get themselves killed for sure." She said. "Ok you guys head back that way to the Academy and get help if we don't return."

"Where are you going miss Kirigakure?" Shiemi asked.

"After your stupid teacher and classmates. They're not gonna last out of this dimension without me."

"H-how do you know!?" Shiemi asked.

" 'Cuz. I've had my fair share of experience with dimension hopping." They looked at Ms. Kirigakure shocked. She stepped one foot into the blue swirling portal. "Remember, go straight to the Academy, get help." Then she turned around and went into the portal after Yukio, Izumo and Bon.

"This is bad this is bad this is bad!" Konekomaru panicked. "We need to get help now! We need to go tell Head Master!"
A determined look spread on Shiemi's face.
"We need to go after them!"

"What!?" Konekomaru exclaimed.

"I don't know if that's such a good idea Moriyama. It's probably best we listen to Shura and go get Sir Pheles."

"Y-y-yeah, I'm sure Ms. Kirigakure said that we should just get help."

"No! I already lost one of my friends! I can't lose more! I need to go after them! Whether you come with me or not I don't care! I need to go!"

"Wait, Shi! A little lady like you can't go in there all by yourself." Shima stopped her with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah!" Konekomaru agreed.

"Koneko and I will go with ya." He said smoothly.

"Yeah! Wait, what?" He gave him an exasperated look.

"Yeah, let's go." He said taking Shiemi's arm, Shiemi smiled and the two of them walked through together.

"Wait! You guys!" He tried to stop them but was too late. Now it was just Konekomaru left there, everyone else had walked through the mysterious portal that led to who knows where. "Uuuuuh!" He panicked, he didn't know what to do now. Should he run and get help? What would they even say? Would they believe him if he said that all of his classmates walked through a mysterious portal in the middle of the woods and are now missing? Should he go after them? He was torn between getting help and jumping through himself so he wouldn't just be there all alone. There was no Bon, or Shima or Yukio sensei to tell him what to do. He looked around himself, there he stood, alone in the woods. The was the leaves and branches rustled in the wind and the birds squawked  made him feel even more uneasy. He felt fear build up inside him. His friends were all gone, and his teachers, there was no one to guide him, protect him.
He had finally made the decision which probably wasn't the best one and jumped through himself after his friends. When he jumped through all he saw was an extremely bright white light. The journey was intense, powerful wind was blowing on his face and it felt like he was being sucked through to where ever it was this portal led to. He was extremely terrified and it felt like his heart was going to burst through his chest. It was like the worlds most intense roller coaster. Just as soon as he was sucked in he was shot out through the other side. He flew out of the portal and tumbled onto the ground screaming. A sharp pain bloomed on the left side of his face which had scraped in the ground as he fell. He winced in pain as he now laid on the ground. Gathering all the strength he had left. He turned his head slowly and looked around, vision slightly blurred, seeing the rest of his classmates groaning in pain and sprawled out on the ground.

Shura slowly got up and dusted herself off.

"Are you guys alright?" She asked.

"Ugh. Yeah, I'm fine." Bon sat up grabbing his head.

Shura turned and saw Konekomaru, Shiemi and Shima and you could tell that she was not pleased. "What the hell you guys! I said to return to the academy and get help! Not follow us through!" Shura turned around and she saw that the portal had now closed. "Well that's fantastic! Now we're all stuck here with no one on the other side to bring us back!"

"Oh, well it's too late for that now." Shima said brushing off the dirt on his uniform pants. They all looked around, they could see that they were still deep in a forest, but it was clear that they were not in the same location as before. There was something odd about these trees. They were extremely tall, you could not see where the tree ended. The bark was black like midnight and the leaves were a bright green that almost seem to slow as light hit it. There was an ominous rustling sound as the wind lightly blew through the leaves. The whole setting made the exorcists feel very uneasy.

"Where are we?" Shiemi asked looking around.

"Obviously not in Assiah anymore." Izumo said.

"Yes, but where?" Shima asked. Shura looked around, this place seemed familiar but she just couldn't put her finger on it. There were all sorts of strange sounds coming from all around them, from animals and creatures they couldn't identify. The longer they stood there the more uneasy and fearful they became.

"Ok guys, we just need to stay together and find shelter for tonight, I have a feeling we won't be heading back to Assiah in a while.

~*~*~*~

Rin sat in his thrown bored, the whole day was completely uneventful. He had insisted that they continue with the mission. Satan had given them as task and they should complete it as soon as possible. But the others agreed that they would take a break on the mission and return to normal duties. Even though it was important to solve the mystery of the open portals, they had a kingdom to run and they couldn't just abandon their people to solve a case. Rin had returned to his usual duty of watching over the whole of his kingdom. It was rather boring at times, but part of him found it cool that he was able to see everything that went on in his kingdom and always be aware of everything that was going on. He figured this was how Satan seemed to know everything about anything that went on in all of Gahenna. It must be similar to his seeing eye but on a much larger scale. One that allowed him to see all kingdoms at once instead of just one particular one. Rin was lazing about, leaning back on his chair while aimlessly scrolling through the seeing eye spell. He gently stroked the black fur on his cat sidhes head. He was completely bored and in the verge of falling asleep until something caught his eye, or someones. He sat up eyes widening leaning in closer to the seeing eye zooming in on a particular part. People who did not belong intruding into his kingdom. They were in the Far East side of the shadow forest. They were not subjects to his kingdom and by the looks of them they didn't even belong in this realm.

"Guards!" He yelled. Six shadow men guards immediately appeared before him. "There are intruders on the far eastern side of the forest. Capture them and bring them to me as fast as you can." They nodded and quickly dispersed. Being shadow people they traveled very quickly and easy dodged the trees.

~*~*~*~*~

Izumo, Shiemi and Shura were setting up a shelter for them to spend the night. They would have to spend the night in the strange forest. They had no idea which dimension they were in or what creatures lurched in the night. They didn't not know how concerned they should be for their safety. The boys were searching for supplies and anything they could use for the shelter. They also took the time to try and become a bit more familiar with their surroundings. While gathering wood for a fire they came across an odd looking creature. Like a black bunny with entirely matte purple eyes and two small twisted horns. It ran out from a bush and looked directly at them for several seconds before running away. They have never seen a creature quite like it before. The plants were nothing as they seen before as well, which Shiemi really admired and only wished she coulee taken a picture. She wished she could take home with her some of the plants home with her and plant them in her own garden. Bon an Shima came back to the small camp site and placed the like of black fire wood on the ground. Yukio gathered a few sticks and started to rub them together to start a fire, when they finally sparked a flame and let the fire they could see that the flames were an odd colour. It had almost a greenish tint to it. They made a shelter with leaves and branches and all sat on the ground gathered around by the fire. They would go to bed hungry that night since they were unable to find any food to eat. Konekomaru found small purple berries but they did not eat them since they weren't sure if it would be harmful to them or not.
After about an hour or so the group of exorcists had settled down for the night laying down around the fire for warmth.

Shiemi tossed and turned, it was very uncomfortable sleeping on the cold hard ground, and she was absolutely terrified here. She was regretting her decision of following the others into this dimension, but at least they were all together. Turning over to her other side, she opened her eyes a bit. She tried her very hardest but sleep wouldn't come. She closed her eyes again only to instantly reopen then as she heard a strange rustling noise, and it didn't sound like the wind. She looked around but saw nothing but her classmates were all fast asleep on the ground using large leaves and sweaters as blankets. She closed her eyes again, and then heard the same rustling noise again, but louder this time. She started to worry, it almost sounded like the rapid footsteps of something running around near them. She turned to her side and poked Izumo.

"Ms Kamiki?" Izumo didn't budge, she poked her again. Izumo groaned but didn't open her eyes. "Did you hear that noise?" She asked.

"I heard nothing, go back to sleep." She slurred tiredly.

"I can't." She heard the noise again, but louder causing her to panic.

"Hte inhkuxekj ake htah fac"

[Ente Islan for the intruders are that way] she heard a voice say. Shiemi whimpered. "I don't think we're alone." No one seemed to hear her.

"Htij fac!!"

[ente Islan for this way] she heard them say again. Suddenly there was the loud cracking sound of a twig snapping. She sat straight up, her breathing hitched.
Suddenly she feels two cold hands quickly grab her and drag her away from the camp site and deep into the forest. She screamed at the top of her lungs waking up the others.
It was extremely dark, she could see nothing and no one as an unknown force dragged her deep into the woods.

The others screamed her name as she was taken away. Two sets of shadowy hands on each side grabbed onto Shima. He struggled and frantically tried to jerk his arms out of their grasp but resistance was futile. Yukio started shooting at the other shadowy beings as more and more appeared and started attacking. His attempts were useless as their bodies were just made of shadows and the blessed bullets traveled right through them. Soon Konekomaru was dragged away screaming for help. Then Izumo, and Renzo and and eventually Suguro. Shura and Yukio tried to save them but failed. They both fought the creatures and more and more seemed to come. Eventually Yukio was out of amo and Shura's weapons were knocked right out of her hands. She then tried to engage in hand to hand combat which was useless as well. Soon both were knocked to the ground and dragged off.

*~*~*~*

They were almost sure that this would be the end for them as they got physically dragged deeper and deeper into the forest at such speeds. Eventually they found themselves exiting the forest. They came to an abrupt stop, they figured this is where they would either be held captive or murdered.
The shadow creatures who had kidnapped them seemed to converse for a bit in an unknown language to them. They had studied these creatures in class. They were known as shodow people, a form of dark spirits possessing shadows. Then two other buffer looking shadow men halled open two large wooden doors. They were all dragged into the large castle like building. They looked around as they had entered. They were in a large room with dark stone walls. Different statues and artifacts lined the walls There was little to no light in the room other than that coming from a few torches with blue fire. The colour scheme was all blues and blacks. They could see all sorts of portrait paintings on the wall. Of different beasts they had yet to study. And portraits of people unknown to them. All had similar demonic features. Everything then seemed to click. The strage looking plants, the shadow men, the blue fire. They were in Gahenna.

They took notice that majority of the paintings were of the same ominous figure. Dark clothing, and dark shadows covering all their defining features making them unable to be identified. It was as if this mysterious and dark being was hidden withing the shadows. Making them even more frightening. As they gave the illusion of this being hiding in the darkness and watching people unsuspectingly.

"Where are you taking us!" Yukio demanded as they were dragged through the unknown building by the shadow men.

"To our dark king." They said in a deep voice with a slight unknown accent. His eyes widened.

"Satan!?" He asked, fear rising within.

"No." They plainly stated.

"Then who?"

"This one asks too many questions." He said to the other. "I hope My Lord gives me the permission to take him to the execution room." The other nodded in agreement. That instantly shut Yukio up as he now feared for his life. If it was not Satan they were talking about, who is 'the dark king'? Shura struggled the whole way and let out a string strong of profanities at the shadow men. Finally they had reached then end of the large room they were being dragged through and came to a stop. The men let them go and immediately bowed down making a sign with their arms and hands.

"My malevolency." One said. "We have brought forth the intruders as you have requested."

"I can see that, good work." The voice was very familiar. But it sounded very echoey and loud. The exorcists finally brought themselves to look up at the one they called the dark king. They were faced with the same shadowy and mysterious figure from the painting. With the very dim lighting and the figures bright blue hair, they were unable to see their face clearly. Just like the paintings they were hidden behind a curtain of shadows. He sat in a large extravagant throne that had been lit on blue fire but did not seem to burn. He sat in front of some yellow bright mist they could only describe with their vocabulary as a small portal like thing. The figure waved their hand through the mist and it disappeared. He leaned over out of the shadows and looked down at them. Both the figure and the now prisoner exorcists eyes widened. The figure quickly regained himself and his shocked look was replaced with an angry and displeased one.

"R-R-Rin?" Shemi's green eyes were wide with shock.
