Chapter 4
Damn, it's been a hot minute since I updated.
Enjoy~~

I nearly spit my coffee out. "W-What?" I asked, choking on my drink.
"Well...he was here when I got home. That was around 9:30. When I saw him, he was leaving your room. I told him it was okay if you two did have sex but-"
"Mom! Frank and I didn't have sex! We were just hanging out," I blushed. She nodded slowly, smiling.
"Okay, hon. But, it's totally okay if you did," She assured.
I took my mug to my room and started getting ready. I saw the note on my table. I smiled and read it over again. It gave me motivation, so I got ready quickly, did a full face of extravagant makeup, and even straighten my hair. I smirked at myself and fixed my skirt.
Back downstairs, my mother held my bag and her keys. "I can give you a ride to school?"
"That'd be rad, mama," I said. She giggled and we were out the door.
On the way there she sighed and looked over at me. A sad smile broke out on her face, it made me a little nervous.
"You know, Gee...I did always want a daughter as well as a son," She started. I gave her a confused look.
"Why didn't you try for a second kid then?" I asked. She seemed to freeze and her gaze shifted everywhere.
"It's not- well, there were medical complications after we had, uh, you. And your father didn't want anymore children," She explained. I could only nod.
"You could've adopted. I mean, hell, you still can! You're young enough," I said.
She laughed. "That's nice, Gee, but it's a lot of money." There was a few moments of silence. "But back to the first thing I said. I did always want a daughter. Someone I could do makeup with, and go shopping. Do our nails, bake. All kinds of stuff. And then...well, you gave that to me. I could do all that "girl" stuff, and only have one kid, who happened to be born a boy. I'm just...I'm very thankful that you're my baby. Thank you for being you, Gee."
I cried and laughed. "I love you, mama."
We pulled into the school and I waved, seeing Dallon, so I hurried off. He flashed a grin at me and we walked around campus for a little bit. I remembered it was almost the weekend.
"It's finally Friday," I sighed.
"I know. This week seemed to last like years," Dallon said. I nodded in agreement. "Hey, you going to Toro's party tonight? His folks are out of town on a vacation."
"I guess I'll go," I said. "Shit, man, we haven't been to a big house party since last year at Pete's."
"We've all been busy," He shrugged. As we said this a girl with dark hair who kind of looked like me walked into our view. This was Jamia. And her stomach was a little rounder than it was a few months ago. Dallon scoffed. "Looks like Jamia's been especially busy. Who do you think knocked her up?"
"Ew...I don't know," I grimaced. The thought of pregnancies at this age made me sick. Couldn't people wait until after highschool?
"Whatever...back to the party. Toro's making it a strict "must have date" policy. He's hiring people and all, you gotta have a date. Wanna go with me?" He asked. I looked at him a little confused. Last I checked Dallon and I were friends, and just friends. He obviously noticed my confusion. "Relax, just so we can get in. I know you got your eye on Frank." He winked.
I blushed and shoved him. "Oh, whatever. Yeah, I'll go with you," I giggled, and then froze. "Wait, what if Frank goes?"
"Then you can go with him. Brendon said he'd be my date if you couldn't. Just do whatever, Gee," He said. I smiled and he wrapped an arm around my shoulder and we continued walking.
After a few minutes, the first bell rang. Dallon and I made our way inside. He left me at my locker, and I was surprised the see Frank there. Dallon nudged me.
"Have fun," He sang. I blushed and started putting my stuff away. I suddenly remembered the conversation my mother and I had this morning about Frank. My blush only deepened.
"Hey, Gee," Frank said.
"Hoi," I said, sheepishly.
"Sorry about just leaving last night. I didn't really know what to do," He chuckled, awkwardly.
"It's fine. But next time, wake me up," I said. "My, um, my mom thought we had sex."
I was nervous awaiting his response, but he just shrugged. "Maybe I'll get that lucky eventually."
I made a sort of choking noise and stared at Frank. He laughed his stupid, pot laugh.
"Not like it'll happen anytime soon. You do have a boyfriend, after all."
I gave him a quizzical look. "I don't have a boyfriend, Frank."
"Dallon?" He asked.
"Pfft!" I scoffed. We started walking into the classroom. "We've been bestfriends since the 2nd grade. We tried the whole bestfriend to boyfriend thing once, and that did not work."
"Ohh," He said. "So you're single?"
"Yup. And as straight as a circle," I said. He laughed and we sat down, waiting for Mr. Colby.
He walked in only moments later. Everyone hushed their conversations.
"Good morning everyone," He greeted. Everyone mumbled a 'good morning' back. "Now, I know it's Friday and you're all eager to get done with today. So I thought we'd keep it mellow. Just get with a partner and discuss the reading you hopefully did last night. Use the rest of class to your advantage."
I immediately looked over at Frank and he nodded. I took the book out, To Kill A Mockingbird. I had read it multiple times, so I didn't bother reading the assigned chapter last night. Frank had taken his out so I started spewing what I had remembered.
A few minutes of me plain rambling passed by before I finally noticed the dazed look back in Frank's eyes. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"You didn't read it, did you?" I asked. He grinned guiltily.
"Oops. It's almost like I don't give a fuck. Oh wait, I don't," He said. "But seriously. I read this book in the 7th grade. I don't need to read it again."
"Well, that's fair. But why not get a few words in?"
"I liked listening to you talk," He stated simply.
"Frank Iero, if I knew being your friend was going to be so flattering, I would've done it years ago," I chuckled. "Now can we get back to the book? I don't wanna get in trouble."
"Oh, come on, Gee. Look at everyone. They don't even have their books out, half of them are on their phones. Mr. Colby doesn't care," He said. I still looked at him nervously. He smiled softly. "Okay, if he gets mad; I'll take the blame. I just want to get to know you more."
I just nodded silently. God dammit, what was this boy doing to me? I always did my work, even if I or my partner didn't want to. Even if the work was stupid! He talked me out of it with a few sentences. I knew Frank was bad even before he got here, but it didn't make me want him anyless.
"So, you hear about that Ray Toro's "must have date" party tonight?" He asked.
"Uh, yeah! I plan on going with...Dallon," I said meekly. "He's just my ticket to get in, I swear."
"No sweat, sis. Pete is my "date." I didn't realize that there were so many gay guys in this school. Where I came from, we only had one. That was me," He said.
"Yeah. We all just got so hot that we needed to be with each other," I said. Frank laughed. I looked at him seriously as I had down last night. "I'm not joking. We've all dated each other at some point."
"That's kind of great," He said. I shrugged and nodded. I heard a buzz from under the table. Frank picked up his phone. "Well, shit. There goes my date."
"What happened?"
"Pete's got this other guy. Patrick. But, he's actually into him so it makes sense," He said.
"Sorry, Frankie. I'd go with you but-"
"No, it's okay. I'll find someone else. It can't be that hard. Hell, I kind of have someone in mind..." He said, almost dreamily. I felt a sudden pang of jealously, but I didn't even know what he meant. It could be anything.
He sat on his phone as I remained silent. He fingered one of his dreads a few times before looking annoyed.
"Ugh, I'm taking these out tonight. Fuck, but that'll take forever. Ugh!" He exclaimed. Everyone in the class looked at him.
"Mr. Iero? Are you alright?" Mr. Colby asked. Frank shook his head.
"No. I feel quite sick..." He said.
"Would you like to go to the nurse?"
"That would be great," Frank said. Mr. Colby wrote him a pass as he packed his bag. He grabbed the pass and was halfway out the door before he came over to me. "Text me," He whispered. And then he was gone.
Frank must've gone home "sick" because no one saw him all day. I did eventually text him at lunch. He had gone home to started brushing out his dreads. He said he'd see me at the party, and I could only wonder who my Frankie could be going with...

Alright, alright! That's what I'm talking about!
Guess who's back and is ready to put their ideas and then some into this story!? Moi.
I also intend on writing a few Frerard~Oneshots, but I've literally been saying that for months now. School is almost over, so I should be free for the most part. I know where I want to take this story, but I feel like it'll be a while before I get to the big conflict.
HOLY FUCK! Writing that just gave me an idea. Muahahahaha.
Anyway, I'm back with something other than a diary!
I hope you enjoyed this and BTW
It wasn't proofread. It's never proofread.
Danka! Kokoro! ;*
