'THE ROAD CAPTAIN'
" She was lace—delicate, untouchable, meant for a world far from his. He was leather—worn, rough, and bound to the life he chose. But somehow, when they came together, they fit like they were always meant to. "

LEATHER AND LACE | (meet the cast)
NATHANIEL "REV" DELGADO
(AARON PAUL)
AGE: 22
NICKNAME: Rev (Short for 'Revolver' because of his weapons expertise) and/or Nate
RANK IN SAMCRO: Newest Full Patch Member (Prospected at the age of 20)
CLUB ROLE: Road Captain (He organises club rides and ensures that all bikes are in top condition. He makes sure members know the safest and most strategic routes during runs. He handles both the mechanics and the firearms, while also being a skilled rider.)
SPONSOR: Chibs Telford
PERSONALITY: Fiercely loyal and protective, has a sharp mind, can be kind and thoughtful, smart-ass, reckless and moral.
BACKSTORY: He grew up in a rough neighbourhood alongside his best friend, Juice, who is now his roommate, and was the closest thing he ever had to a brother before he joined SAMCRO.
He had a deadbeat father and a mother who did her best but struggled with mental illness, so when he joined, the club became the family he always longed for.
When Rev was a prospect, he was sponsored and mentored by Chibs, and the two of them created a deep bond. Chibs seeing Rev as the son he never had, and Rev seeing Chibs as the father figure he wished he had growing up.
QUOTE: "Oh, absolutely—I'll get right on that. Just as soon as I finish my 'Give a Damn' paperwork. It's backordered, though...might take a while."
DELIAH "LIA" MORROW
(KATHRYN NEWTON)
AGE: 19
NICKNAMES: Lia, and/or Mouse (Only by Clay. Because in his words, she's small but scrappy. Clay sees her as delicate in comparison to the rough world of SAMCRO. But like a mouse, she's also clever and resourceful, able to navigate situations in ways that surprise people.)
RANK IN SAMCRO: The Princess of SAMCRO
OCCUPATION: High School Graduate/College dropout (aspiring entrepreneur)
FAMILY: Clay Morrow (father), Gemma Teller-Morrow (mother), Jax Teller (half-brother), Thomas Teller (half-brother, deceased)
PERSONALITY: Head strong, independent, charming, charismatic, curious but naïve, creative, fashion-forward, and determined to prove herself.
BACKSTORY: She was sent away to boarding school at a young age, and grew up mostly away from Charming, only coming home for holidays. Both parents wanting to keep her away from club life.
She lives with a genetic heart disorder which runs in her family and which her half-brother, Thomas "Tommy" Teller died from at the age of 6.
Lia met her best friend, Emmy, while attending boarding school. They bonded over shared ambitions and their love for fashion.
Lia always suspected her family was more than just "motorcycle enthusiast," but nobody ever confirmed it.
She dropped out of college and returned home to start a boutique in Charming with Emmy.
Despite the distance often between them, Jax and Lia have a strong bond, as Jax often called her on a weekly basis to check in when she was away at school. Jax is the typical overprotective brother, who doesn't like the idea of her hanging around boys.
QUOTE: "Dad, ever heard of a loan? Banks hand them out for this kind of thing all the time. And besides, Emmy's dad is basically a walking ATM—if all else fails, we'll just bat our eyelashes and let his guilt fund our dreams."
JUAN CARLOS "JUICE" ORTIZ
(THEO ROSSI)
AGE: 25
NICKNAME: Juice (Given to him by Rev when they were kids. Juice was one of those kids who was always bouncing off the walls, always moving, like he was running on sugar 24/7. Rev, being the sarcastic little shit he is, started calling him Juice like, "Dude, what the hell are you on? Battery juice?" And from there, the nickname just stuck.)
RANK IN SAMCRO: Full Patch Member (One of the youngest members)
CLUB ROLE: Intelligence Officer
SPONSOR: Jax Teller
PERSONALITY: Loyal, eager to contribute to the club, but is also naïve at times, easily manipulated, moral, kind hearted and tech savvy.
BACKSTORY: Juice is of Puerto Rican and African American descent, and grew up in the rougher side of Queens, New York, alongside his best friend and childhood neighbour, Rev.
QUOTE: "Wait, hold up...Lia? The privileged white girl with the sheltered life and the trust fund? That's what's got your heart racing, Rev? Man, I gotta admit, I'm shocked. That's like you suddenly craving kale when you've been all about greasy burgers your whole life. I'm both impressed and kinda confused, bro."
FILIP "CHIBS" TELFORD
(TOMMY FLANAGAN)
AGE: 45
NICKNAME: Chibs (comes from the Scots slang for "knife" or "stab," referencing the distinctive facial scars he bears—a result of a past altercation with Jimmy O'Phelan.)
RANK IN SAMCRO: Full Patch Member
CLUB ROLE: Club Medic
PERSONALITY: Level-headed and pragmatism. He often acts as a voice of reason within the club, balancing loyalty with a clear sense of right and wrong. His willingness to undertake difficult tasks shows his dedication to SAMCRO and its members.
BACKSTORY WITH REV: Chibs first met Rev when the boy was eighteen, barely old enough to ride but already drowning in bad habits. Meth. Oxy. Booze. Whatever could numb him from the ghosts haunting his mind. His mother was locked away in a psych ward, his father was a name on a birth certificate, and the world had written him off before he even had a chance to prove them wrong. Rev was smart, quick with his hands, but he was also reckless—too reckless.
Chibs had been sent to collect a debt from a low-level dealer in Stockton when he found Rev instead—face-down in an alley, nose busted, eyes swollen shut, needle still in his arm. The dealer had cleaned him out, left him with nothing but a body barely holding onto life.
Most men wouldn't have looked twice. But Chibs did.
Maybe it was because Rev reminded him of some kid from the old country, some poor bastard who never had a chance. Maybe it was because he saw that same fire he once saw in a young Jax Teller. Or maybe Chibs just wasn't the kind of man to let someone rot in their own filth when he had the power to pull them out.
So, he did.
He hauled Rev's half-dead ass out of that alley and dumped him in a safe house, where he spent the next three days sweating out the poison that had nearly killed him. Chibs was there for every second of it—watching, waiting, making sure the kid didn't choke on his own vomit.
And when Rev woke up, body screaming, mind desperate for another fix, Chibs gave him two choices:
1. Crawl back into the gutter and die like the worthless junkie he was trying to be.
2. Get his shit together, prospect for SAMCRO, and prove he was worth a damn.
Rev, stubborn as ever, tried to laugh in his face saying, "Who the hell said I wanted to be a biker?"
Chibs smirked, lighting a cigarette saying, "Doesn't matter what you want, lad. You owe me now."
And that was it.
From that day on, Rev was his responsibility. Chibs became his sponsor, his mentor, his pain in the ass. He taught him how to work on bikes, fix guns, hold his liquor without blacking out, and most importantly—how to live without the crutch of a needle in his arm.
QUOTE: "I didn't pull your sorry ass out of the gutter just for you to crawl back in, lad. You think I saved your life just so you could piss it all away on that shite? You're better than this—so get your head straight before I do it for you."
JACKSON "JAX" TELLER
(CHARLIE HUNNAM)
AGE: 30
NICKNAME: Jax
RANK IN SAMCRO: Full Patch Member
CLUB ROLE: Vice President
FAMILY: John Teller (father), Clay Morrow (step-father), Gemma Teller-Morrow (mother), Lia Morrow (half-sister), Thomas Teller (brother, deceased)
PERSONALITY: Stubborn, brave, and a natural leader. He is the most introspective member of the Sons of Anarchy and tries to follow a complex set of principles that correspond to his father's ideals of a "perfect" outlaw. Depending on the situation, he can be cool and collected or vengeful and wrathful. Despite his occasional violence and criminal ties, Jax longs to be a good man and feels an incredibly deep sense of loyalty and responsibility to his friends and family.
BACKSTORY WITH REV: When Rev Delgado was patched in as a prospect—fresh off the needle and with Chibs vouching for him—Jax had already made up his mind.
He was a liability.
Jax saw it in the way Rev moved, the jitter in his hands that hadn't quite faded, the way his eyes darted when he thought no one was looking. A guy like that? Weak. A guy like that? Dangerous.
So, Jax rode him harder than any other prospect. Sent him on bullshit errands, made him clean the club bathrooms with a toothbrush, put him on long, pointless stakeouts just to see if he'd crack. And maybe, deep down, he wanted him to. It'd be easier if Rev folded under the pressure, proved Jax right.
But Rev never did.
One day, a gun deal went sideways. One of those things that should've been routine—quick, in and out—but ended up with bullets flying, blood spilling, and Jax cornered behind a rusted-out car with a bullet in his leg and nowhere to go.
He remembered the sound of tires screeching.
The roar of Rev's engine as he came barreling in, no backup, no plan, just reckless fucking determination.
Jax had no cover, and the guys gunning for him knew it. He could see it on their faces—they had him. He was done.
And then Rev.
Rev, the junkie. Rev, the liability. Rev, the guy Jax never fucking trusted, came flying in like a bat out of hell, gun drawn, taking down two guys before Jax could even blink. He didn't hesitate. Didn't freeze up. He grabbed Jax by the kutte and dragged him into the passenger seat of his old Chevy, peeling out before the remaining bastards could figure out what just happened.
Jax was in too much pain to argue, too busy pressing his hand to the wound on his thigh to snap at Rev to slow the fuck down. Instead, he just stared at him, this scrawny kid who'd just saved his ass, gripping the steering wheel like he was daring death to try again.
Rev glanced at him, smirking through the blood on his lip and said, "Still think I'm useless, V.P?"
Jax should've been pissed. He should've decked him for being a cocky little shit.
Instead, for the first time since Rev had started prospecting, Jax actually laughed.
From that moment on, something shifted.
Rev had proven himself the only way that mattered—with blood, with bullets, with risking his own goddamn life.
After that, Jax took him under his wing. Not like Chibs had—Chibs was a father to Rev. Jax was something else. He sharpened him, tested him, made sure he didn't slip back into old habits. He still gave him shit, still rode him hard, but it wasn't about breaking him anymore.
It was about making sure he was ready.
Because whether Jax liked it or not, Rev wasn't just some junkie trying to play outlaw.
He was one of them now.
QUOTE: "You wanna be a screw-up, Rev? Fine. But don't do it wearing that patch. The Club doesn't hand out second chances—you either step up, or you get thrown out. And I don't wanna see you thrown out on your ass, man. So, get your shit together and prove me right for believing in you."
EMERSON "EMMY" CALLOWAY
(MADISON MCLAUGHLIN)
AGE: 20
NICKNAME: Emmy
HOMETOWN: San Francisco, California
Occupation: High School Graduate/College dropout (aspiring entrepreneur)
Personality: Flirtatious, Outspoken, Eccentric, Loyal, Smart and Free-spirited
BACKSTORY: Emmy grew up in San Francisco's elite circles, the daughter of a wealthy investment banker who threw money at her rather than attention. While her upbringing was filled with privilege—private schools, European vacations, designer clothes—Emmy always had a rebellious streak that set her apart from the snobby rich kids. When she met Lia at boarding school, the two became inseparable, bonded by their shared desire to carve out their own paths away from family expectations.
QUOTE: "You know, Tiggy, I've got this bucket list, and right between 'skinny-dipping in the Pacific' and 'joining the mile-high club' is 'have a wild night with a dangerous older man.' Lucky for me, you look like you'd be more than happy to help me cross that one off."
