Rainbow's POV :

I look up and froze. I saw Dumbbell and his friends standing there.

"Get her".

Two boys grab me. I struggle and yell for help but a hand covered my mouth. I struggled and fought but I wasn't strong enough. They dragged me down the hallway and out of the school. I felt tears in my eyes. This wasn't happening.

I heard Dumbbell laugh.

"Applejack ain't here to save you now", he said.

They dragged me into the woods that was near the school. I was terrified. I wasn't sure what they planned to do with me but whatever it is, it'll hurt. That scared me even more.

I was suddenly let go and I fell to the ground. Next thing I knew I was being kicked repeatedly. I cry out in pain.

"This is what you get for getting me in trouble and not doing what I say", Dumbbell said.

He kicked me hard in my lower stomach.

"Ahh!!".

She curl up and cover to head, trying to ignore the pain. That's what I use to do when I was with him. I just numbed the pain and dreamed I was somewhere else.

"HEY!!".

The kicking stopped. Thank god. I was roughly picked up. I was picked up. I turn my head and see Dumbbell. I struggle against him and kicked him. He actually let me go. Didn't think that would work. I turn and run.

My run was short when the ground suddenly ran out. I screamed. I couldn't stop myself in time and went over.

I let out a loud scream. I twisted my body around I was about to claw at the side of whatever it was I fell off of.
I stopped falling. I look down. I was now hanging off of a rocky steep slope. The slope went down and stopped at some rocks at the end.

That's where I didn't want to end up.

"Let's get out of here!!", I hear one oft Dumbbell's friends shout.

Then I heard them run away.

"Oh god", I whimper.

What was I gunna do??. I'm stuck. I felt tears run down my face as I realized I wouldn't be able to hold much longer. I was gunna fall.

I close my eyes and cried softly. So this is how my life would end.

"Rainbow!!".

Huh??. I look up and saw Applejack and Uncle Strike looking down at me. Applejack reached out her hand.

"Grab it", she said.

I let go of one hand and reach my arm up. I took hold of her hand. Suddenly the dirt and leaves came loose, making me let go of my other hand. I was now dangling. Just perfect. Applejack being the only thing keeping me from dying at this point.

"I'm gunna fall", I cry. Tears ran down my face. I was panicking. Applejack shook her head. I felt her grip tighten around my wrist.

"No you're not. I've gotcha".

"Yes I am. I'm gunna fall. Please don't let me go. Please".

I knew that Applejack was the only thing keeping me from falling and that scared me. What if she let go??. What if she let me fall??.

"Rainbow", she said. She looked down at me.

"Ah'm not gunna let chu fall. Ah promise. You have ta trust me".

Trust. That was one thing I knew I had to do. I had no choice but to trust her. I look down at the rocks then up at her. She had a serious look on her face. She was Applejack. Honest. She had never lied to me so far so why would she now??. I nod my head.

"Okay", I said.

She smiled. "Now. I'm gunna pull you up. When ah say grab me, you wrap your arms around mah neck. Okay??".

I nod. "I'm scared", I tell her. She nodded.

"Me too", she said.

"You're gunna be just fine Rainbow", Uncle Strike said.

Applejack stared to pull me up.

"Now grab me".

I was close enough to wrap my arms around her neck. I felt arms wrap around my waist. They pulled me. I fall into of Applejack. I quickly got off and sat on the ground beside her. Okay. That really just happened.

Applejack looked at me.

"Are you alright??", she asked. I nod my head. I was about to have a heart attack, again. But I was alive. She saved me.

Uncle Strike kneeled beside me.

"Are you hurt??".

I wince at the bruises. I remembered what the guys did to me.

"Well. I think I have some bruises on me", I say. "Dumbbell and his friends beat me".

Uncle Strike did not look happy.

"They are in so much trouble", he growled. I shake my head. He couldn't tell on Dumbbell. I would be dead by the end of the week.

"Please don't tell anyone. They'll get more mad and then beat me up again".

He sighed and looked at me. Rainbow", he said. "This can't keep happening. They need to be punished. What they did was a crime. We need to tell the school".

I look at my lap. I froze when I felt arm wrap around me. I saw blonde hair in my face. Applejack. I stayed tensed. She held me in a hug.

"Ah was so afraid when I saw you fall off the edge. I wasn't sure you survived the fall".

Slowly I hugged back. I was so glad to see her.

"Thank you", I say. We stayed like that for a while. I didn't want to let go but I had to sooner or later.

"So. You still want to show me something??", I ask.

Applejack looks at me weird.

"You still want to go to the park after what just happened??", she asked.

I nodded. I thought it was good to do something to keep my mind off of what happened. If I dot then it'll just haunt me for a few days.

"Yeah", I say. "I'm sure".

I look at Uncle Strike.

"Oh yeah. Uncle Strike. This is my friend Applejack. Applejack, this is my uncle".

The two laugh and shake hands.

"What a very bad way ta meet", Applejack said laughing. My Uncle laughed as well and nodded. I could tell they were gunna get along.

"So now you've met. So let's go Applejack".

Applejack helped me up. I look at my uncle.

"We won't be long and I have my phone I my bag", I tell him.

My eyes widened. "Which is at the school still".

I turn to Applejack.

"I gotta go back to the school", I say.
"My stuff is all over the floor I bet. If that okay with you".

She nodded. I look at Uncle Strike and hugged him.

"Be careful", he said giving me a look. I nod.

"We will. Plus, I have Applejack. She's my bodyguard".

We head out of the forest and head back to the school. My Uncle left for his truck while me and Applejack went inside. My stuff was all over the floor. Walking over to my bookd, I pick them up. I opened my locker and put them in. I didn't need them anyway.

I pick up my book bag. I wine when I touched a bruise on my arm. I was use to bruises but that didn't stop them from hurting.

"Here". I look at Applejack.

"Let me carry that for ya", she said.

I shyly give it to her. We walked out of the school and down the street to the park. There were a few people there. Kids were hanging out there. It being after school and all.

"Now follow me", Applejack said smiling. I follow her down around the pond and away from the park.  We came to a hidden garden.

"Woah". I look around. It was beautiful. There was a pond with lily pads floating around. Flowers of every color were growing in the grass.

I smile when I spotted a butterfly fluttering around.

"This is amazing", I say. I look at Applejack. She smiled.

"Glad ya like it. This is mah secret hideout. Noone knows bout' this place. So let's keep it that way okay??".

I nod. We sat down on the grass. I look at her.

"How do you find this place??", I asked.

Applejack sighed. "It was a few years ago when ah was little. Me and my dad had an argument and ah ran out of the house".

I frown. "Did he hit you?", I asked nervously.

She shook her head. I was relieved. I would die if Applejack had went through what I did.

"Okay. Good", I said. Applejack looked at me confused.

"Why do you ask??".

I shook my head. "It's nothing. Nevermind".

I pull on a fake smile. She didn't buy it and gave me a look.

"Rainbow, what's wrong??. You can tell me".

I sigh. I know I can tell her. I do. I want to. I trust her. I really do. I'm just worried about what she'll do. Would she tell anyone else??. Will she not want to me friends with me anymore. Would she hate me or think any less of me??. I felt my pulse racing at the thought.

I wouldn't be able to handle it if she did. I don't know what I would do. I couldn't handle losing Applejack or the others. She was my best friend, they all were.

I take a breath and let it out. I can't believe I'm gunna do this. I just bad to wait for the question.

"What are you asking me??", I ask lookimg her in the eyes.

"Why are ya afraid ta trust someone??. What happened to ya??".
