VII.|The Trancy Manor|

A/N -- Last chapter was terrible... -.-

AND SO I MAY HAVE GOTTEN CAUGHT UP IN LIFE AND FORGOT THAT I HAD A CHAPTER IN RESERVE

R e c a p - Early January, 1890

I was planning.

Planning what to do, when to do it and how to do it.

This was only stage one of the insanity I'd later call my love life.

VII.|The Trancy Manor|

Early January, 1890
[Third Person's PoV]

And so, an era of peace began in the Phantomhive Manor. For some fortunate reason, Alois had never bothered them. Ciel was clueless as to why.

But (Y/N)... she knew.

She and Alois would have little rendezvous, every week.

In order for (Y/N) to stay at the Phantomhive Manor, Alois needed payment. No, he wanted payment.

He demanded (Y/N) come to the Trancy's, every Saturday and Sunday night, which she usually said, to Ciel and Sebastian that it was, "Merely a nighttime stroll."

It was torturous. Not physical, but emotional torture.

Let me rephrase, not torture, but seduction.

It was always a heated night, although it never went too far.

The damned Trancy had stolen (Y/N)'s very first kiss the second night she came.

"Remember," said Alois every week, "if you want to stay with him, you shan't breathe a word of this to anyone."

And surprisingly... she listened.

It was not until a month later that Ciel and Sebastian figured out the truth.

"Sebastian?"

"Yes?"

"Watch and follow (Y/N) the next time she goes for a 'stroll'. I need to know where she goes before returning so late at night."

There was a moment's pause before the Earl added, "I shall come with you."

"Yes, My Lord."

Saturday Evening, Early February 1890
[Your PoV]

They're following me.

Chills went down my spine and I shuddered. I could recognize Sebastian's stare from miles away.

But do I say something?

I kept quiet. It's just a midnight stroll, I assured myself. I just won't be able to go to Alois' this time.

So, I acted casually. Well, as casually as one could whilst they were being watched by a demon and an Earl.

"Sebastian!" cried a happy voice.

There was a harsh, "Shh!" then it went quiet again.

There was a bit of a murmur, something about curry was being said, then I heard my name, concluding in another, "Shh!"

And then there were three. Maybe four.

I started humming a tune, walking around dreamily with my hands behind my back.

So, what do I do now?

Ah, screw it. I started walking to the Trancy Manor, my lips pursed.

Happiness. The word just popped into my head. What brings me happiness? What makes me happy?

I listed things off in my head, a smile planted on my face as I continued to hum, until I realized...

Ciel makes me happy. For the last fifteen minutes, I'd been humming the waltz that was played that night that we danced together.

The night where he'd come home to us, the servants, dancing happily to a classical waltz, smiles plastered onto our faces.

At last, I stood in front of Alois Trancy's large mansion. The feeling of multiple pairs of eyes glued to me remained.

I looked back to the place in which they were presumably hiding.

"You're late." said the cold voice of the blond.

"Lord Phantomhive kept me," I lied.

[Ciel PoV]

-
W-what is she doing? Why is she with Alois? "My lord," Sebastian said, "are you alright?"

"Why do you ask?" I questioned coldly.

"You seem troubled."

"I-I do not!" I shouted.

"My lord, in all due respect, Lady (Y/N) can hear us. So if you please would be quiet."

"Fine." I grumbled. I thought I was the one giving orders around here!

Alois wrapped his arm around (Y/N). Rage seethed within me (even more). They went inside. Were they shagging each other? How dare he!

I ordered, "Sebastian, follow them."

"Yes, my lord."

We snuck in through a hole in the roof from, I assume, the storm from the night before.
-

Questions ran through my head as (Sebastian and) I walked through the melancholy corridors.

All those questions were blanked out when I heard a whimper–– (Y/N)'s.

Without warning, I screamed her name. "(Y/N)!"

A gloved had clamped over my mouth. "Reckless, Young Master."

"Reckless indeed," chuckled a voice. We turned, Sebastian's crimson orbs meeting bright amber ones.

"Go." Sebastian pulled out his silverware. "Find her."

As much as I wanted to disobey my own butler's orders, I knew I'd do the same thing either way.

The hallway I ran down was dark and damp, cobwebs decorating almost every nook and cranny.

"Phantomhive."

"Trancy."

I stood eye to eye with Alois, (Y/N) nowhere to be seen.

"Looking for someone?"

"Hand her over."

Our voices seemed to echo in the cold emptiness of the manor.

I needed to get this over and done quickly, for Soma and Agni's sake. They were told to go back to the mansion and wait.

"She's been coming here on her own will," said Alois, his smirk growing.

"And why is that?"

"Don't believe me?"

I stayed quiet, fists clenched tightly.

"She can tell you herself."

And with the snap of his fingers, the triplet butlers came, holding swords.

I looked around 'till I heard a muffled cry in the corner.

His maid was there, emotionless as she held (Y/N)'s hands back–– (Y/N) had a gag forced into her mouth.

Before my mind could comprehend the current events, I was dueling with the blond, metal clashing against metal.

"What's say a battle for (Y/N)'s love?"

"You're on."

I looked over to (Y/N) for a moment– and she wasn't there. What'd happened to his maid?

Alois took the chance with open arms and slashed harshly at me.

My eyes squeezed close, awaiting the impact.

But it never came.
[But nobody came. WHERE MY UNDERTALE FANS AT]

"Ow..." I heard a female's frail chuckle.

"(Y/N)!" Alois screamed.

I stood frozen, watching the (h/c) haired girl fall to the ground, spitting up blood.

"It's not that bad, is it?" she asked, a tone of humor in her breathless voice.

A large gash was cut from the bottom of her right jaw to almost under the left side of her collarbone.

"Ciel?" she sang. "Hello~?"

Alois was gone. His servants had run away and I could hear Sebastian's footsteps approaching.

I fell to my knees beside her.
[The literal best I could come up with. I know, it's shit XD]

"Come... c'mere." her voice seemed weaker and weaker. (Y/N) held out a hand.

I placed my hand in hers and with a sudden jerk, she pulled me closer.

"This hurts pretty bad," she said, "but if I do lose my voice, I wanna tell you something."

"Ciel," she gulped. "I love you."

Her lips crashed onto mine, pressing firmly onto my lips for a mere two seconds.

With that, she collapsed onto me, and with a last breath, she whispered:

"I'm sorry, Lizzy."

And I hadn't even said a word.
