Kaira's POV.

It's a shame I wasn't allowed to fight, or even help them. If they weren't so focused on beating the enemy, and only that, they would have noticed where the guy went off to. I looked at the mountain, and saw the Jinchuuriki looking right back at me, peeking around the corner.

Looking back at Sasuke and his team, I saw him ordering Karin around, and of course she immediately obeyed. Karin concentrated on finding the enemy, and found him within a few seconds. ''Over there!"' She yelled as she pointed into the direction of the mountain where the Jinchuuriki was currently hiding.

Sasuke didn't waste a second and let Juugo throw him at the Jinchuuriki after he underwent Sage Transformation.  The Jinchuuriki was now cloaked with the Tailed Beast's chakra, and jumped at Sasuke. He sure was fast. Sasuke dodged him, but the Jinchuuriki didn't turn around to attack Sasuke again.

He came to us.

Sasuke realized this and cursed as he went after him.

''Ya'll re first to get hit with the worst!'' The Jinchuuriki shouted as he flew at Sasuke's teammates. Juugo quickly used his powers to get them all away from there, and I jumped further on the mountain for a better view as the platform I just stood on was destroyed by the Jinchuuriki.

Suigetsu fell into the water at the foot of the mountain, while Juugo managed to keep Karin safe. I smirked as I saw Sasuke land near them. ''You guys okay?!"'

''Yeah, somehow.'' Karin answered.

''Now, Sasuke.. What will you do?'' I muttered as I watched them carefully. I noticed the Jinchuuriki looking at me again, and I looked right back at him. He must be asking himself why I am not doing anything. I glared at him once more before he jumped off the mountain, at Sasuke, who was just done talking to Karin.

''Sasuke!'' Karin yelled.

Sasuke activated his Mangekyou Sharingan, and the Jinchuuriki fell onto the ground, next to Sasuke. He made a mistake by looking into Sasuke's eyes.

My eyes narrowed when I saw the Jinchuuriki move slightly. ''Sasuke, watch out!'' I yelled, but it was no use. Sasuke turned around, only to be hit by the attack. ''Lariat!''

Blood soaked his cloak as he flew backwards, and I clenched my fists after I felt my hands tremble slightly. Juugo caught the Uchiha, and Karin immediately ran at them while they were back on the ground. I couldn't make out what they were saying, but Karin looked kinda shocked. She unzipped a part of her shirt and cloak, revealing even more bite marks, but Juugo stopped her.

I decided to go down to them, so I would know what was going on. I landed near Suigetsu, and saw Juugo change partly into a monster again. He fused his body and chakra with Sasuke, to heal him.

As I looked back at the Jinchuuriki, he began to rhyme again. ''I'm gonna bring ya to reality then annihilate ya to infinity! I'm a Jinchuuriki and my true form's a monster, so check out my Host Transformation, yeah!"

He literally changed into a monster.  A mix of an ox and octopus, and he was huge. Sasuke was clearly suffering, while Karin looked frightened. ''With just one glance, ya little shits will wet your pants.'' He shouted. ''I'm stingin' like a Texas Longhorn; rippin' at my enemies till they're torn! Whee!"

I'm not a sensory type, but with the chakra that I was able to sense, I knew the Jinchuuriki had plenty left. This wans't good..

''Juugo, are you done yet?!'' Karin exclaimed.

Juugo pulled his hand back, and Sasuke opened one of his eyes. For some reason, I got a warm feeling in my chest, and felt relieved. I guess he's okay after all.

''You're conscious?'' Karin asked. ''Come one now, wake up!" she yelled as she pulled Sasuke up, but I frowned when I saw Juugo. He looked like.. a kid? Juugo changed into a kid?! Did he use up to much power to heal Sasuke? Karin stood up, yelling they would have were gonna run. Are they going to abandon their mission? Maybe it was better this way. If we retreat, we can come up with a plan to defeat the Jinchuuriki.

The Jinchuuriki growled, and charged at Sasuke, Karin and Juugo, but was stopped by Suigetsu. He had made a monster of water, blocking the Jinchuuriki's way. ''Leave this to me!"' Suigetsu yelled. ''Get out of here now!''

Sasuke was still weak, Juugo was a kid now, and Karin didn't have much chakra left as well. I guess I should give them a hand. Dad said I wasn't allowed to fight, but he said nothing about helping them in other ways. I quickly jumped down here, and landed next to Karin. We needed to move quickly. Suigetsu will not be able to hold him off forever.

I grabbed Sasuke's arm and pulled him onto his feet. I put his arm around my neck, and held his wrist, as I put my other hand on his waist, supporting him. I noticed Sasuke looking at me from the corners of his eyes. What I saw in his eyes wasn't hate or anything like that, what I expected. It was a soft look he was giving me. I looked away from him ''Let's go, we've got no time to lose.'' I spoke as I turned around and began to run, dragging Sasuke with me. Juugo and Karin followed me quickly.

I grunted when I heard a loud explosion. This wasn't going very well..

After the explosion, we saw Suigetsu lying near us, and we went to him.

We were all kneeling around Suigetsu, who was lying on the water. ''Suigetsu's a mess.... Damn it!" Karin hissed. ''We can't run away from him! What should we do?''

Sasuke looked at Juugo, Suigetsu, and then at Karin. They were all pretty loyal to him. They have done everything they could in this fight to protect Sasuke, to defeat the Hachibi, while I was just merely watching. For a second, I was thinking of acting as a decoy, to distract the Hachibi to buy them time to get away. Of course I wouldn't be able to defeat him, but the others couldn't even stand properly anymore..

''He's coming!'' Karin yelled.

I was about to activate my Mangekyou Sharingan, but Sasuke was faster, and had already activated his. Blood left his eyes as tears, and black flames appeared on the Hachibi, who was now screaming in pain. Sasuke groaned, and put his hand on his eye. Juugo and Karin were watching in awe. They must have never seen the Amaterasu before. I have seen Itachi doing it before, more than once.

The Hachibis tentacle moved around wildly, and one was falling down towards us. I gritted my teeth and jumped away with the others. Karin landed a few metres away from us, and another tentacle was above her. Sasuke cut the tentacle in two with his Lightning Release. The part that was cut off, fell into the water and sunk. Karin just stood there, while other tentacles came at her. ''Karin, run!'' Sasuke yelled, but it was too late. Even though Karin began to run away, one of the tentacles covered in the black flames, hit Karin, and her back was on fire.

''Shit, the black flames!'' Sasuke grunted.

''Karin's gone.'' Juugo stated. ''Let's get out of here before it gets to us as well!'' Juugo was about to stand up, but Sasuke stopped him. ''Wait, Juugo.''

''She's done for!'' Juugo exclaimed, and I was silently agreeing.

Sasuke took a deep breath, and looked at Karin. What was he trying to do? The black flames disappeared from Karin's back as she slowly sunk into the water. I looked with widened eyes at Sasuke. He was able to do that?! Even Itachi couldn't.

Sasuke groaned in pain again and grabbed his head in his hands. I silently cursed. He overdid it..

''T-This is...'' Juugo murmured.

''Juugo, get Karin now!" Sasuke ordered. I quickly took Suigetsu from him, who was now in a jelly-like state, and Juugo grabbed Karin with his Sage powers. ''The black flames really did get extinguished.''

Sasuke stood up, and I glanced at him. ''Are you okay?''

Sasuke simply nodded, and closed his eyes, only to open them seconds later. I saw the familair pattern on his eyes. He was using the Mangekyou again. The flames on the Jinchuuriki were now extinguished as well, and I saw him lying in the water in the distance.

Sasuke was clearly in pain. He shouldn't have used his Sharingan that much.

''It looks like he's still alive.'' Juugo said, and I nodded.

''At least we don't have to kill him now.'' Sasuke spoke. ''Let's hurry up and get him out of here.''

Sasuke took off his cloak, that was already full with holes, and lifted the Jinchuuriki up, throwing him over his shoulder. I looked over my shoulder at the mountain not far away from here. With my Sharingan, I was able to see the two shinobi spying on us. It wasn't necessary to eliminate them.

They weren't a threat anyway.
