Kaira's POV.

After supper, Suki told us everything that had happened in Konoha. I still can't believe she went to that village while dad clearly told us to not go there. He obviously held hatred for The Hidden Leaf, and I wondered why. I knew that mom and Deidara held  grudge against Iwagakure, but I didn't know why they hated their village either. Both mom and dad rarely told us anything about their pasts..

''Suki!''

The three of us looked at the doorway, and we saw dad standing there. He looked frustrated and angry at the same time. Did he find out about Suki going to Konoha? I frowned when I saw dad pulling mom with him into the room. Tears were running down her face and her eyes were red.

''Suki, go with your mother to the infirmary immediately.'' he said before looking at Izuna. ''Look for Asuki and tell her she has to go to the infirmary as well, and Kaira, go to Sasori's room and look for the book with the poisons and medicines. I will explain everything once we are all in the infirmary.''

Suki quickly nodded and got up. ''What happened?''

''I told you I would explain everything later..'' Dad sounded really impatient, so I decided to get up and search for Sasori's book. I left the kitchen and headed to the room Sasori was supposed to stay at. We still didn't clean the room after his death, so all of his stuff was still there.

I opened the door and peeked into the dark room. I put on the lights and looked around. I've been in Sasori's room many times before, so I knew where the book was. He was one of my friends in the base, along with Itachi and Kisame. I was never fond of all the members. Most were just annoying and a pain in the ass.

I opened the drawer and glanced at the red book. A scorpion was drawn on the cover, the same symbol he placed on all the puppets he created. I grabbed it an left the dusty room. Why would dad need this book? What was going on? Why was mom crying?

I saw Izuna and Asuki walking in the distance, and they went into the infirmary. I quickly followed them.

Sasuke's POV.

''Sasuke.''

I turned around and looked at Jugo. ''Did you find Itachi?'' I asked him. Jugo shook his head, but the look in his eyes said he did know something. ''But the birds told me something quite interesting..''

''What is it?'' I asked slightly impatient. I just wanted to find Itachi and end his life. I wanted to avenge the Uchiha clan.

''They told me that there is some girl running around the forest. She's looking for something she desperately needs.''

''So?'' I mumbled. ''What does that have to do with Itachi? I don't care about this girl.''

Jugo sighed. ''This girl is an Uchiha..''

Now that caught my attention. She was an Uchiha? Was it Kaira? Shes's so far the only Uchiha woman I know. ''An Uchiha? Tell me more.'' I demanded.

Jugo smirked, obviously amused by my sudden interest. ''To be specific, she's Madara Uchiha's daughter.''

If that girl was Kaira, then the fact she was Madara's daughter would explain everything. She was skilled, she must have been trained by Madara himself. But how can Jugo be sure that that girl is Madara's daughter. Nobody has been the guy in many years. ''Are you sure?''

Jugo nodded and the bird on his shoulder flew away. ''She has been seen with him, and the girl called him her father. Madara went back at some time and he was too fast for the birds to trail him down, but they girl wasn't. She's close, what do you want to do?''

''We capture her.''

Kaira's POV.

''It's just at the border of the Land of Sound.'' Asuki said as she showed me a picture of the herb. I had never seen this one before. ''Is it rare?''

''No.'' Asuki shook her head. ''But the chance of finding it is bigger if you look there.''

I had to search for this herb. After dad told us about mom's disease, I insisted on helping to find a cure. Mom told us it was incurable, and that her mother died because she had it too. Dad objected that that was over 20 years ago, and that is should be doable to make a medicine now. Asuki didn't know how to make the cure, but she did know a few herbs she would need for sure. Suki, Izuna and I would search for those herbs. Suki and Izuna had already left..

''Okay, I'll be going now.'' I spoke. I glanced at mom. Her eyes were glassy and I nodded at her. She smiled weakly. ''Be careful..'' she whispered.

''I will.''

Sasuke's POV.

The girl looked just like Kaira, only she had green eyes. She also didn't seem as cold as Kaira, and she showed more emotion, but Kaira was better at fighting. Along with Jugo and Suigetsu, we were able to capture her quickly. The girl seemed distracted the whole time, and frustrated as well making it easier for us to defeat her. Suigetsu tied her up, making sure she couldn't escape. The girl had been yelling that we should let her go, she was even crying. I just ignored her, while Suigetsu talked to her, trying to get some information about Itachi's whereabouts out of her.

I knew she was related to Kaira. She looked too much like her to be not. I should have known Kaira was Madara's daughter. She did resemble him. Her hair wasn't as spiky, but they had the same eyes, and don't forget the attitude and overconfidence.

''Sasuke.'' Suigetsu called. I looked over my shoulder and saw him and the girl sitting on the grass. The girl was glaring at me, and I smirked amused. ''Did she say something already?''

Suigetsu grunted and shook his head. ''She kept refusing to tell me where Itachi is.''

I growled and pushed Suigetsu aside, and knelt in front of the girl. ''Listen, you will tell me where Itachi is, or else-'' ''I don't care!"' she cut me off. ''I won't tell you anything!''

I clenched my jaw and held her jaw firmly, and she whimpered. ''You really don't want to piss me off, so you better start talking.'' I hissed.

''Sasuke, don't.'' Jugo spoke rapidly. ''Remember who she is. We can use her against the Akatsuki. Maybe we can trade her for Itachi, she's the leader's daughter after all.''

I scoffed and let go of her jaw. ''Fine. They will notice her absence eventually, and when they come to search for her, we'll make a deal and trade her for him.''

Kaira's POV.

I was heading back to the base. The border wasn't that far away and I had found the herb easily. It was almost dark outside, and I didn't think I would make it back before midnight. I sighed and began to run again, but froze when I sensed chakra signatures. I immediately recognized Suki's, but what made me worry was that she was with three another guys, and one girl was also close to her. I have sensed those before, and clenched my fists when I knew she was with Sasuke and his team.

So now that he couldn't get any answers out of me, he is going for my sister? If that bastard hurt her.. I quickly sped up. There weren't that far away, so it took me only a few minutes until I reached them, and I concealed my chakra. I hid in the tree, and my eyes narrowed when I saw Suki tied up. Sasuke, and two guys and that girl were sitting around a fire.

They still hadn't noticed me, and I swiftly, but silently jumped in another tree. I jumped out of the tree and landed silently behind Suki. ''Kaira.'' she whispered.

I grabbed a kunai and cut the ropes. Suki quickly got up and I took a quick glance at the team, but noticed that Sasuke was gone.

I quickly turned around, but was too late. Sasuke grabbed my arm and twisted it. I groaned in pain and he pulled by back against his chest, his katana against my throat. ''You tought I didn't notice you?'' he spoke lowly.

I grunted and threw the bag with  my free hand at Suki who caught it. Sasuke tightened the grip on my wrist and I gasped. ''Where is Itachi?''

''I won't tell you where he is Sasuke, haven't I said that before?'' I spoke calmly. Sasuke growled. ''Suigetsu, Jugo, get the other one.''

I quickly looked at Suki. ''Suki, go. It is in the bag.''

''Bu-'' she tried to protest, but I cut her off. ''I'll be fine, now go. Mom is more important now!''

I didn't want her to die. If we didn't cure her in time it could mean her death. That's what both mom and Asuki said. And it's not like Sasuke would kill me. I knew where Itachi was, and he needed that information..
