Arisa’s POV

TWO DAYS LATER…

June 22, 2013 Saturday 9:30 AM

I woke up with little bags under my eyes. Damn it! I took a bath, fixed my hair and wore my outfit. I wrote a note that I will be going out and I’ll be back by evening.

As I got outside of the mansion, Beck was leaning in his motorbike and he is wearing his black jacket with some fur at the edges, his v-neck shirt, blue jeans and high-cut sneakers.

“You look amazing.” He said as he passed me a helmet.

I blushed. “You too.” I replied as he is starting the engine.

“So where should we go?” I asked.

“You’ll see.” He replied at me, smirking.

As we took off, I noticed someone who is looking at us from afar.


Beck’s POV

“We’ve arrived.” I stopped my motorbike and remove the helmet so did Arisa.

“I can smell the ocean.” She stated.

“That’s we’re going to have brunch.” I smiled as I held her hand. We reached a sushi restaurant named SUSO-HI.

“There you are!” A blonde man waved at me.

“Aries meet Bryan, the manager of SUSO-HI and my cousin. Bryan meet Aries, my friend.” I introduced them to each other.

“Pleasure to meet you and it’s Arisa, Arisa Michiyo.” She said as she elbowed me.

“The pleasure is mine. You must be hungry, I’ll give you two some special seats.” He said with a smile. As Arisa was lead by a waitress, Bryan asked “Is she single?”

“She’s mine.” I barked.

“You’re a hunter.” He said with dismay. I smirked at him.

I followed Aries to the table. A waiter then bought the sushi trays. I looked at Aries who loves sushi.

“It’s for free.” Bryan said happily.

“What do you want for drinks?” I asked her.

“Water only.” She replied with a smile.

“Water for the lady and oolong tea for me.” I said to the waiter and left.

“*Itadaikimasu.” We said.

As she started to eat one, she looked at me.

She said with stars in her eyes “It’s delicious!!”

I laughed and said “Of course. They’re handmade and fresh.”

She then said “I’m going to love this place.”

I smiled. I looked at her. Everything about her is fun.

“Why are you looking me like that?” She caught me staring at her.

“Nothing much. I observed that you look cute when you eat your favorite food.” I gave her a compliment.

Arisa’s POV

“Nothing much. I observed that you look cute when you eat your favorite food.” He said I look cute.

I scoffed and said “I’m not, **baka.”

The waiter brought our drinks. I sipped some and continued eating. “So, where should we go next?” I asked.

“If Aries~chan is there, I’ll be there.” He said charmingly.

Why is he making me blush now? I cleared my throat and said “You made a promise.”

“What promise?” He asked. What is he, stupid?

“If you take me on a date, you’ll stop calling ‘Aries~chan’.” I reminded him with a pout.

“Also if you kiss me on the lips.” He said after drinking some tea.

“***Gochisosama.” We said. I drank some water and leaned at the wall. I caught him staring at me again. The aura became awkward.

“So Aries~chan, where should we go?” He looked at me all smiling.

I shrugged and said “You’re the one who suggested going out.”

“Okay. Bryan we’ll take our leave.” He told Bryan and we exited the restaurant.

“Could you even tell me where we’re going?” I’m getting impatient.

“Just relax. It’s just a short distance from here. I know a place you’ll never forget.” He said smiling.

I grumbled. He laughed and looked at me.

“Close your eyes if you trust me.” He took out a strip of white cloth from his pocket.

I sniffed. “Beck, are we near the seashore?” I asked.

“You know, you’re ruining the surprise.” Beck said with a sad but a surprise tone.

Beck suddenly stopped. “You can take off the cloth now.” He said.

As I removed the cloth, I was astounded. Beck surprised me a view of the beach with a perfect view to watch a sunset. “W-wow Beck, I don’t know what to say…” As I turn around, Beck was gone. “Beck?”

“Up here.” I saw Beck sitting on a tree branch.

He came down and said “I also have this for you.” He gave me a little wrapped box. I opened and saw a red choker with a skull for a pendant.

“I know it’s a little weird for you but-” I immediately hugged him.

“I love it. It’s beautiful.” I said and let go of him.

“How about wearing it?” He suggested. I nodded with agreement. He took it out from the box and puts it around my neck.

“Does it look okay?” I asked him sheepishly.

“I-it l-looks g-good on you.” He said with embarrassment.

I laughed and went closer to him, “I have a gift for you, too.”

“Really?” He asked with excitement.

I nodded and said “Just close your eyes and count to three.”

He closed his eyes. “1….”

“2…”

“3!”

As he opened his eyes, I kissed him in the lips. He was shocked but closed his eyes again and wrapped his arms around my waist while I wrapped mine around his neck. This is the first time I felt true happiness not in the internet, anime or even eating. I pulled away my lips from his and I said “That’s my gift.”

He remained speechless but snickered. “You are one naughty-”

*Arisa’s phone rings*

“Hello?”

“Arisa, this is Carl. It’s kind of important…”

“Oh hey, Carl. I’m kinda busy so…BYE”

I hung up on him. I looked at Beck and asked “What are you going to say?”

He held my chin and said “As I was saying, you’re one naughty-”

*Beck’s phone rings*

“What do you want Pearl!?”

“Beck, is Arisa with you?”

“It’s none of your business!!”

He hung up and said “Instead I will say those words, Will you answer this?”

“What?” I asked.

“Will you be my girlfriend?” He whispered to me.

Beck’s POV

“Will you be my girlfriend?” I whispered.

She looked surprised and murmured “Ah…how should I put it into words…”

I touch her lips and said “It’s okay if you won’t accept it…”

“I accept it, baka. I love you.” She said as she became teary-eyed.

I’m a sucker for tears. I hugged her and said “I promise when I’m here at your side, I will never you cry.”

She hugged me tighter and asked “You promise that?”

I jumped the question and kissed her in the lips. “Does that answer your question?”

She laughed. I brought out a Swiss knife and carved something on the tree.

“What are you carving? I want to see.” She’s so impatient.

I showed her the carved part of the tree. A skull-shaped heart which said ‘Arisa Michiyo + Beck La Zani= 4EVER’ she hugged me and we left our secret place.

As we returned to my motorbike, Arisa asked “Could we go to a store?”

“How about a place to eat?” I suggested.

She sighed and I laughed as I pat her head. I checked the time,12:00 Noon. We went downtown to eat.

 2 HOURS AGO AT THE MICHIYO MANSION…

THIRD PERSON’S POV

“Hey everyone. Have you seen Arisa and the idiot?” Pearl entered the dining room with her bed hair.

“Nope.”Marianne replied.

“Maybe sleeping.” Hazel said as she eats another pancake.

The others shook their heads except Carl. They stared at him then he asked “What are you girls looking at me like that?”

“Spit it out, Andrew. I know your hiding something.” Kim said darkly.

He irked at Kim’s voice and sighed. “Fine, I’ll tell you.” They suddenly looked at him with pure curiosity.

“Beck…and Arisa….are,” He stated, “are o-on a…”

“Spit it out already!!” Kim, Pearl shouted together while bending their forks.

“Beck and Arisa are on a date!” He shouted.

…

“WHAT?!” The girls all shouted.

“Did hell freeze over again?” Lisa shouted.

“Was Arisa drunk that time?!” Hazel asked.

“Where is the morality in this place?!” Marianne sighed.

 “Umm, guys. I think this is more important.” Yuki said as she stared at the window.

They leaned at the window and saw a mysterious figure beyond the gate.

Arisa’s POV

We went to fast food restaurant which is near a manga store because Beck’s hungry and I want to get 3 copies of B*****’s new volume.

Beck wanted me to eat first, I hesitated at first but my stomach grumbled. I sighed and ate burgers with him.

After we ate, he asked “Why do you need three copies if you only want one?”

I sighed. “The first copy will be for yourself, the second will be for sharing and the third one will be for displaying. My parents also collect manga but they only buy two, one for displaying and the other for reading.” I explained.

He laughed then pats my head. “You’re one otaku, Arisa.”

I blushed. It’s the first time he called me in my first name. I cleared my throat then stood up. “I’ll be going to the store, You wanna come?” I said.

He nodded then we exited and entered the manga store.

“So what did you buy?” He asked as he leaned at the store’s wall.

“B*****’s new volume, F***’s light novel, Sword Art O*****’s light novel, and Du******’s light novel, all three each. They also threw in a poster for free.” I held the heavy paper bag. He laughed and opened the door. As we got outside, Beck started the engine.

“Hey let’s go somewhere fun.” He said as took the paper bag. I tried to get it but he said “It’s dangerous if it stays with you.” I pouted and I said “Fine.”

I wore the helmet and Beck took off. We entered an arcade. As we entered, he went to the counter and asked for a room. I asked “Are we going karaoke?”

“Yeah.” He said cheerfully.

“B-but I d-don’t sing!” I replied. I lied, I just don’t want to sing. It’s embarrassing!!

“Well, too bad. You will sing first!” He said sarcastically.

I sighed and we entered the room. As Beck closed the door, I searched some songs.

“I thought you can’t sing?” He asked with a sly tone.

“I ‘don’t’ sing not ‘can’t’ and btw, you forced me.” I replied him as I pressed the numbers.

“So you want to sing, Arisa.” He teased.

“Shut up, the song’s about to start.” I stood up.

“The Beginning by One Ok Rock…nice choice.” My cheeks flushed when he complimented me.

The song lasted for five minutes and as I ended he exclaimed “Okay it’s my turn!”

I sat down. It’s been long time that I last sung. I murmured as Beck entered his song “Trust Me by Yuuya Matsushita….too cheesy” I said as I giggled. He rolled his eyes and started singing the introduction,

so trust me, trust me, trust me~

I was shocked. He never sang before and his voice was…*nosebleeds* Beck caught my nose bled and took out some tissue. “Here, have this.” He gave those to me, and then I suddenly sniffed blood and immediately wiped my nose. He laughed then he continued singing.

Few minutes later, Beck finished his song. He sat beside and asked “Are you okay?” I nodded.

“You sure?” He asked again. I nodded again.

“So why did your nose bled?” He asked awkwardly. I wiped my nose and shook my head.

“You know you’re not mute. Speak up.” He said sternly.

“My turn.” I stood up.

“What?” He asked.

“My turn to sing, stupid.” I rolled my eyes. I chose a song and pressed the numbers.

“Perfect Two by Auburn…..” He murmured. He laughed and said “After this, let’s play some arcade.” I agreed and started to sing.

“You can be the peanut butter to my jelly

You can be the chills that I feel on our first date...”

As I finished the song, we both exited the room and went to the arcade to play Dance Revolution.

Beck’s POV

As we started to play Dance Revolution, I said “Wanna bet?”

“Winner will decide the next game?” She offered with a challenging smirk.

“And loser will treat the winner.” I added with a smile.

“Deal. Let’s play five songs on extreme.” She looks confident.

GAME START!!!

Some people came closer and then in the last song, many people circled in and started cheering.

“The guy will win!” I heard someone.

“Look! The chick’s winning.” I looked at Arisa’s score, she’s two hundred points ahead of me! I looked at her and she’s enjoying at it. I’m beginning to dance faster then, the music ended. The scores are Double S to A, Arisa won!

I congratulate her with a kiss in her cheek. She blushed and whispered “Let’s eat! It’s your treat by the way.” We went to the food court which is beside the arcade.

“So what do you want?” I asked.

She thought for a while then said “ A hotdog sandwich, a hamburger and a large smoothie.”

I laughed and said “Find us a table and meet me there.”

She nodded and went to a table near the entrance.

I ordered and went to the table. I put the food on the table and I sat in front of her.

We were starting to enjoy our food but a man wearing a mask yelled “Everyone, this is a robbery!!” Everyone suddenly start to panic but the man fired a gunshot. “Nobody will panic or else-”

“Or else what, stupid?” Arisa interrupted him. I quickly left the table and went beside her.

“You know what I’m going to do lady, so give me your money!!” He pointed his gun at her.

“This is going to be fun, Beck.” She murmured at me. I nodded with agreement as I look at her.

She went closer to the robber as she dodged his bullets. I started to encircle him, slowly. The robber was then out of bullets then Arisa got closer to him, insulting “That’s all the bullets you got? And btw, my maid is even a better shooter than you!”

The robber was almost switching his gun with a dagger but I got hold of his hand. “You don’t have manners do you? Didn’t your parents told you to never point ladies with sharp things?” I said sadistically as I started to get the dagger from him.

“Arisa, now!” I told Arisa.

“You don’t have to tell me what to do!” She barked.

As I pin his both arms, she went closer and hit his stomach with her right knee then hits his back. He became unconscious and I put him on the floor. Everyone clapped then the police came. He asked us questions and thanked us. We returned to our table and I kept staring at Arisa.

“What?” She asked.

“What ‘what’?” I asked her.

“What’s the reason that you keep staring at me?” She asked out of curiosity.

I ignored her question. “Why did you help them?” I asked her as I leaned on the chair.

She smiled then said “It looks like fun and it’s the first time I experienced this.”She’s weird in a very fun way.

I laughed and said “You have to choose a game, you know.” I changed the topic.

“But I’m full.” She pouted as she tried to stand up.

“Let me help you.” I hold her hand then we went to the arcade.

“So what do you want to play?” I asked her as looked at many options.

“Let’s play PAIKO.” She suggested. We went to the counter to get some tokens then we went to the machine.

“You know how to play this?” She asked.

How mean. “It’s easy. It’s like playing drums.” I said with confidence.

“Let’s play!” She exclaimed. It was about five songs played straight. Well, she won. We sat on a bench and we laughed.

“That was fun!” She said as she looked at me.

“Yeah. The next one will be even more fun!” I exclaimed.

She blushed when I said ‘next one’. “Y-you w-want a second d-date?” She stuttered.

I blushed then sheepishly said “I-If you w-want to…”

“Everywhere when I’m with you, it’s a blast!” She whispered as she puts her head on my shoulder.

I brushed her hair. Silky. I kissed her forehead and she opened her phone. “10 messages from Kim and 5 missed calls from Pearl…” She murmured. She deleted the messages and calls and then closed her phone.

“Aren’t you going to read those?” I asked as she stretched her arms.

“No. I will ask them by the time we get back.” She stood and continued “It’s still 4:30.”

I thought then I held her hand. “Let’s go.” I said as we exited the arcade.

“Where are we going?” She asked as we got to my motorbike.

“You’ll know when we get there.” I said as she wore her helmet. I started the engine then we then headed to a riverbank.

4:45 PM AT THE RIVERBANK…..

Arisa’s POV

As Beck stopped his motorbike, I looked at the location. A riverbank. I thought it will be more romantic like a park or something but oh well, beggars can’t be choosers. I removed my helmet and went to the bank.

I asked Beck as he went down “Why did you choose this?”

“It’s peaceful here.” He responded as he sat down on the ground.

I sat down beside him and he asked “Why did you dye your hair black? I like it when it was brown.”

I threw a stone to make a triple skip. Triple skip, finally made it!

I looked at Beck then sighed. “I dyed my hair before my grade school graduation. Everyone was surprised, even the teachers. It means I’m a changed girl, or so they thought.” I explained then I went teary-eyed.

Beck then hugged me around my shoulders and said “I don’t want to see you cry, it makes me guilty.” He wiped my tears and said “I like you more when you’re… you.”

I blushed. I cleared my throat then looked at him. “Are you making me blush again?” I asked jokingly as I stood up.

“If it’s Arisa, I will make her face red like a cherry.” He said charmingly.

I blushed again. “Sh-Shu-Shut up, b-baka.” I stuttered.

He laughed then reached his hand. “Would you like to dance with me, milady?”

I held his hand and said “You’re saying the line when Ci** met his fiancée in the hall.”

He laughed then said “My girlfriend is a tsundere otaku.”

“I’m not a tsundere.” I held his hand as we dance the waltz. He’s a great dancer then, few minutes later, it drizzled.

“Hey, let’s get out of here! It’s started to rain.” I laughed.

“I can see that.” He grabbed my hand then went to his motorbike.

He started the engine then we took off. As he drove, I asked “Where are we going?”

“To a restaurant, I’m starving.” He said as he pick up the pace.

I giggled. It’s still 5:00 and he’s hungry. He then turned right then left, after that he stopped. “We’re here.”

I removed my helmet and said “The restaurant looks expensive.”

He laughed then murmured “Well, there’s go my allowance.”

“Are you sure we’ll eat here?” I asked as I tapped his shoulder.

“I already made a reservation and I heard the food’s great here.” He responded happily.

As we entered the restaurant, Beck arranged the reservation and led me to a round table that looks like it’s prepared just for us. How much did he pay for this?!?!

As we sat, the waiters put our orders on the table. A quartet then started to play classical music, I looked at Beck who is staring at me.

I laughed then said “This is amazing.”

“I’m glad you liked it.” He replied as he started eating.

I started eating, too. Wow, the food’s amazing here. As we finished eating, the waiter opened a bottle of wine then filled the two glasses up.

I toasted “To our relationship.”

He laughed then repeated “To our relationship.” He sipped some wine.

I looked at my glass. I never drank wine but I drank *sake. I sipped slowly then drank all of the wine. I then asked for another glass.

“It’s your first time?” He asked as he finished his glass.

“Yeah, I only drank sake.” I replied as I leaned on the chair. As the waiter puts the glass on the table, I immediately reached the glass. He laughed and asked the bill from the waiter.

“We’ll be leaving, Arisa. Finish your glass.” He said as the waiter gives the bill. He stood up as he paid.

“W-wait for me, I haven’t finished my glass.” I told him.

He laughed then said “It’s already empty. You’re just drunk.” He put my arm around his neck then we left the restaurant.

Beck’s POV

As we exited the restaurant she whispered “Beck, carry me.”

I laughed then said “Yes, milady.” I carried her princess-like.

“Stop making Kuro******** as your reference, it’s annoying.” She said sleepily.

“As you wish, Arisa~hime.” I jokingly said as I kissed her forehead.

“Shut up, it’s annoying.” She said as she tried to get down.

I laughed then put her down as we got to my motorbike.

“Beck, my head hurts.” She yawned as she wears her helmet.

“It’s from the beer. It’s normal for the beginners.” I wrapped her hands around my waist so she won’t fall down.

I started the engine and she fell asleep. As the gates opened at manor I nudged her. She murmured “We’re not yet done preparing, wait for ten minutes outside.”

I laughed as I stopped the engine. I poked Arisa but she won’t wake up. She suddenly flinched as I removed her helmet. “Morning, princess. How was your sleep?” I asked her jokingly.

She then punched me in the arm. “It’s not morning and don’t call me ‘princess’. I feel uneasy and I rather go with ‘Aries~chan’ than that.” She said as she gets her paper bag.

“Oh, so Arisa wants Aries~chan than princess better?” I teased as I got the bag away from her.

She tried to get the bag by jumping but I said “If you want the bag, I’ll call you Aries~chan again.” I kissed her in the forehead.

“Not a chance. You promised me that if you took me on a date and a kiss on the lips, you’ll stop calling me Aries~chan!” She pouted then the door opened.

“So Beck~senpai*, is Arisa~chan yours now?” I heard a familiar voice. We looked at him but Arisa looked at him with fear.

“Hisashiburi, Arisa~chan.” He said with a senile smile to Arisa.
