"Lucy!!" The angered voice made me freeze on the spot. I slowly turned around to face Natsu, who was glowering at me. He had just gotten out of the shower and his jeans hung low and he had tossed his towel over his shoulder. I chuckled nervously.

"Y-yeah..?" I tried not to seem scared but honestly he terrified me.

"What are you doing?" He growled. I wanted to melt right there, oh Mavis save me.

"Going outside?" I squeak quietly, preparing for the rant. He threw the towel over the stair railing and stood right in front of me staring down at me with his hands jammed in his pockets. If he doesn't kill me himself, his nearness in proximity to me with that level of sexy will. I breathed shallowly pushing myself against the now closed front door. Thanksgiving break had somehow rolled around and Lisanna hadn't touched a hair on my head since I shoved her face first into the dirt.

But our small problem of 'that fight ring leader' was still bright eyed and bushy tailed in our faces and I was sick of being confined. Granted Natsu had kept details as vague as a moody teenager who didn't want their parents to know what their life was actually like. Though with Natsu that description fit perfectly. Minus the parents part I guess...

"What the hell did I tell you about going out?!" Natsu yelling made me yelp in surprise, abruptly crashing my train of thoughts into oblivion. I'd have to get him back for that one.

"Not to go out," I purse my lips as I answer, pissed I couldn't leave. I just wanted to play in the leaves and get some fresh air damn it! I fold my arms and turn my head from him.

"What else?" He raised an eyebrow and I rolled my eyes.

"That I could get sniped by a god damn imaginary killer! For Mavis' sake let me the hell out of this house!" I shove his chest hard and he actually moves a little to my surprise. I furrow my brows anyway and storm away from him. I grab his towel on my way up the stairs and right as I'm about to enter it I turn around and lob the ball of fabric at his head.

"Jackass!" I yell before slamming my door. I calmed my angered breathing as I flopped back on my bed. I knew he was protecting me but these people wouldn't seriously kill me! I'm just some random girl who probably won't exist to them on a year's time! And what would I even get in return for blabbing about them anyway? I only know the location of one fight ring, because apparently the gym is a cover up for that, so what is the big deal?

I groaned softly and rolled over and absentmindedly trailed my finger along my covers. Sure, I was worried about what those whack-job fight ring leaders would do, but I wasn't losing as much sleep over it as he was. I placed my arm over my eyes as I flipped back onto my back.

"Lucy! Get dressed, I'm taking you somewhere!" Natsu called through my door. My eyes widened and I grinned, happy he was finally letting me out of the house. I rushed to my closet and put on a new pair of clothes before practically skipping down the steps. He looked at me with a smug amusement and then led me out to his car. I hurried in and I was practically bouncing in my seat.

We drove for a good amount of time, but I didn't care because I was out of the house. Natsu came to a stop in front of a small house that looked a bit worn, the paint was chipping and peeling in places and the grass looked a bit long. I looked at Natsu with questioning in my features but he didn't say anything. I chewed my lip nervously wondering where exactly we were. Natsu lead the way up to the house.

"Lucy, I'm going to warn you now the place could be a disaster in there," Natsu finally speaks, surprising me.

"Who's place is this?" I ask him with curiosity practically rolling off me in waves.

"You'll see," he says which makes me impatient. Why couldn't he just tell me? I shoved my hands in my pockets after brushing some of my hair out of my face and tucking it gently behind my ear. Natsu knocked on the door and a few moments later it opened to reveal an older man with darker pink hair intermixed with red, someone who I guessed was his father. His dad's face immediately shifted to a smile and he pulled Natsu into a hug.

"My boy, it's been a while," his dad noted. Natsu nodded as he stepped inside, grabbing my arm and pulling me in with him in the process. His dad looked at me and then back to Natsu with a raised eyebrow.

"Anything you want to tell me Natsu?" His dad raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah dad, this is Lucy. And she's my trainee, partner and classmate," he grins and I nudge him. He looks at me with amusement and I roll my eyes and sigh in exasperation.

"I'm also his girlfriend, but don't tell him that he wouldn't believe you," I laugh and his dad does too.

"I'm Igneel, this little one's father," Igneel tussles Natsu's hair and Natsu glares at him.

"I'm not little!" He growls which only makes Igneel chuckle.

"You're still the youngest," Igneel points out and Natsu rolls his eyes.

"Well, he isn't lying," a different voice made me turn and I saw Natsu stiffen slightly. I meet eyes with a dark haired guy I had never seen before.

"Zeref, you're back."
