Izuku's PRO

I am so cold. I opened my eyes feeling groggy. I must have passed out. My whole body was aching, especially my ankle.

My wings exploded out forcing my hoodie up onto my shoulders and pushing me out of the box. Now I was really cold, I didn't have a shirt on and now I was lying in snow. I got up and brushed the snow off. I left my hoodie on my neck and wrapped my wings around my body.

I looked down the alleyway. It was dark in all three directions. Well, I could cross off one direction. I was probably still above the underground maize. Making up my mind I turned, heading away from the warehouse. It really was the only logical option.

___

My whole leg was shaking from the pain of walking. I knew what a break felt like. Luckily, this was only a sprain. It still hurts though.

As I walked, I looked off my mask. I stuffed it into my hoodie pocket. There was no way I would blend in with it. I looked down at my foot...

Crap that looks bad. It doesn't matter. I have to find somewhere to go.

I took another step.

Owe.

              Owe.

                             Owe.

I was definitely just wandering now. I started to see people, so I shrunk my wings back down and slid my hoodie back over my back. It must not be that late, or I wouldn't bee seeing so many people.

I walked a little further and saw a park, there were a couple of kids in it. They looked around my height. An idea popped into my head. It was a horrible idea. I stopped limping to the best that I could and walked up to them.

This is going to hurt.

This was stupid.

I was ten feet away from the kids when I completely and utterly pretended to trip.

"OWE!!!!!!!!!!!" I grabbed my ankle, making it hurt even more and rolled around on the ground, but that's all it took. Or what I thought it would take. Three of them literally ran. Like ran away. This is not what people did in books.

I almost got back up before I saw the fourth kid spin around and run right towards me. "WHAT'S WRONG!"

I looked up at him and said in my grindy voice, "I THINK I ROLLED MY ANKLE." Luckily my grindy voice worked in this situation. I looked at the kid again. He had huge black bags under his eyes. Man, he looks tired. I lessened my acting and just laid on the ground. I reached my hand out and he grabbed it, helping me up. "Thanks."

"No problem." The kid didn't let go of my hand, instead he took it and moved it above his head putting my arm across his shoulders. He helped me hobble to a park bench. "Do you have a phone to call your parents?" He looked so concerned. I almost feel bad about overacting now.

"N-No, I don't. M-My parents are o-out of town for the rest of the week. My g-grandma is watching me, but she doesn't own a phone. She doesn't even know that I left, then I took the wrong turn and got lost." I couldn't help but stutter, I've never been able to lie before. I felt like any second my collar would go off.

"Well, my house isn't far away, let's go there."

"Thanks." He helped me back up. "What's your name?"

He looked at me, "It's Hitoshi Shinsou."

"It's nice to meet you Shinsou."

He seemed so sad. Something about this kid reminded me of myself.

"What's y..."

But before he finished, I butted in. "Are we almost there?" I put more of my wight on him, making him focus more on holding me up, instead of asking questions.

"Yah just around this conner." He panted as we turned around the corner. There was a building with two floors. You could see all the doors from the outside.

"I live on the second floor." He crouched down and motioned for me to get on his back.

"It's fine. I can crawl. If you fall, we will both die."

"Okay." He chuckled.

I half crawled have walked up the stairs. There was a number on his door, it read 107. He reached down into his pocket and pulled out a key. It seemed like the door handle was broken. I was starting to freeze to death when he finally pulled the door open. He motioned for me to come in.

I closed the door behind me. I looked around the apartment. It was an absolute mess. Maybe this is how people lived but if my corner looked like this my master would kill me. The kid walked off and came back with a box in his hands. The box I did recognize, it was a first aid kit.

"Here sit on that stool." He bent down and looked at my ankle. He breathed, almost like he could feel my pain, "This is going to hurt."

"That's fine." I went into statue mode as he pulled my shoe off. It hurt like hell, but I didn't movie. I watched him as he wrapped my foot up. "Thanks, you know what you're doing." He became stiff. "Why did those guys run off? Where are your parents?" The kid just kept working and didn't answer. I don't mind if we don't talk, my throat hurts anyway. I just thought it was normal, guess I was wrong.

I sat there for a while as he wrapped up my ankle. I'm so glad I grabbed my pair of shoes before I left. I had no clue it was winter. If I hadn't thought of grabbing them my feet would have frozen off by now. I rarely wear shoes though. It's another one of my master's sayings, "One who can't walk can't run." The saying went away when my feet became as tough as nails, but they still felt the cold. My master had no idea that I knew where my shoes were, but I sure lucked out that I did. Like what if...

"Mmm......the other kids pulled a prank on me. They thought you caught them. I don't know where my parents are, but I don't mind." My train of thought snapped in half. I looked down and got a better look at this kid. He had a dark bruise forming under his already black bags. There was another bruise on his arm. I could tell by the way he was moving there were a lot more of them.

"All done!" He stood up and stretched his arms above his head. His shirt came up showing his stomach, more dark blotches. He saw me looking and hurriedly put his arms down.

"Who did that to you? It was those kids. Wasn't it." I really did feel sorry for this kid, but right now I was focusing as hard as I could on a normal reaction. I know how much that can hurt, but like really? Some just punched him, it's not that big of a deal. Learn from it and duck next time.

"I'm fine."

"Why don't you tell your pare...?" I heard someone jiggling with a key trying to open the door. Then I heard them grumble as the key fell on the floor...

Alarm filled me. They found me! I have to get out of here. I looked over at the kid.... his face was white. It clearly was someone he didn't want here. There was no way I'm being taken again. I took my fighting position. I won't be taken down. I'm going to land a punch and get the hell out of here. The door started to open as Shinsou grabbed my hand and yanked me into a room.

"WHAT!" I hissed at him.

"Sorry no time to explain." He tried to push me under a bed.

Was he trying to take me down!? That's not happening! I said in the coldest voice I could muster. "OWE."

He looked shocked. "Please just go under the bed!"

Was this boy having a lapse of sanity? First, he helps me, then pushes me, then wants me to go under the bed. I coldly looked at him and then laid on the ground and rolled under. The boy ran out the door and closed it. As soon as he left, I moved. I got out from under the bed and hobbled to the door. I would be standing behind the door if it opened, then heard a man's voice from outside the door.

"What are you hiding boy!"

"It's nothing! I'm not hiding anything." That was Shinsou voice. I could tell he was standing right in front of the door.

"DONT SPEACK BACK TO ME!" Then I heard a slapping sound then shinsou falling to the ground.

The door swung open, but it hit the wall instead of me. I saw a bulk of a man walk into the room. He started to tear the room up looking for whatever he thought Shinsou was hiding. Of course, the first place he looked was under the bed.

That kid really doesn't have any survival skills. If it was me I would have hid someone in the mattress.

"DAD I CAN EXPAIN!" Shinsou walked into the room face white. He thought I was still under the bed.

"What do you mean, nothings under the bed Shinsou. What was under there boy?" He raised his hand again.

I stepped out from behind the door. The man saw me and froze. My voice was already tired from talking so I didn't bother.

"WHO ARE YOU!? This has nothing to do with you!" I didn't budge. "HONEY, GET IN HERE!" A lady walked into the doorframe; she also froze when she saw me. She went to grab my hand, but I was ready. I ducked and slammed my fist into her gut. I could feel her rip cage crack. She crumpled to the ground.

The man went berserk, he ran straight at me. My head started to ring. I realized the ringing was from his quirk. My ears started to bleed. I didn't show it though I just stood there until the man reached me. He threw a punch at me, but just like his wife I ducked, this time my hand met his face instead. I punched him so hard that he went crashing into the bed breaking it.

I looked at Shinsou. He looks terrified. I bent down and took the phone out of the women's pocket. I was still crouched when I asked, "What number do you call for help?"

"N-nn-nnine o-oone one" His voice was shaking. I looked down at the phone. I had no clue how to use it. I threw it at him, "you do it."

I went over and opened his closet. I grabbed some clothes, then I walked back to my shoe in the other room. I put it on. I have no idea how I did it but it's still throbbing. I walked back into the room to hear.

"911 what's the problem?"

I took the phone out of his hand. "We need help. I injured two people. I'm pretty sure one has a couple broken ribs' and the other has a concussion. Before you ask they were beating their child." I hung up the phone. I walked back over to the lady and took her purse. I opened it but nothing was in it. I walked to the window and took out the screen protector. I opened it, climbing onto the edge.

"Wait! What's your name?"

I stopped and looked back, "My name doesn't matter." I jumped out. Well, I pretended to jump out in all honesty. I really just pulled myself onto the roof. He ran to the window yelling,

To him it looked like I had disappeared. I watched as his head disappeared back into the window. Then I heard the boy start to cry when he whispered, "Thank you, Thank you so much."

It was cold on the snow-covered roof. I was impressed, it didn't take long for the people to show up. I watched as they took out his parents on stretchers. I then saw Shinsou walk out of the building. He walked out with...Crap.

Those people were heroes? CRAP! CRAP! CRAAP! WHEN DID HE EVEN ENTER THE BUILDING? I watched as the man with the scarf bent down to Shinsou height.

"Let's go kid"

The man must have sensed something because he looked up at the roof. I knew that if I moved, he would see the motion, so I didn't. The streetlamps were below me, there was no way he could see me. When he looked back down, I ducked out of sight.

This was bad, both villains and heroes are after me. I jumped off the other side of the building, landed on the building behind it and kept going.

___

I was out of breath. I have been running along the roof tops for a while. My ankle was throbbing, but I ignored it.

"Someone help me!" I heard someone scream in the ally below me.

I looked down and saw an older women being mugged. I dropped the clothes I had and jumped off the roof landing on the man. The impact knocked him out flat. I looked up at the old lady.

"You, ok?"

"Thank you, dearie, thank you!"

"Do you have a phone?" Her face turned into a look of concern when I asked her about her phone. She nodded at me and walked over to her purse that the man had taken. "Call 911." When she looked down to pull her phone out, I disappeared into the shadows. I was moving away when I heard her say.

"Thanks dearie. He would have gotten me if you hadn't been there. I was just getting my..." She looked up and saw that I was gone. I watched as she called 911. When she was done, she put down the phone and looked up into the darkness, "Thank you dearie."

I found a gutter drain and climbed back onto the roof. I had to search around to find the clothes I dropped, but I did find them...I found them. Yes, I did but. they. are. soaked. I hate snow. Water...Sucks

I waited on the roof top for only a couple of minutes before I saw the flashing lights again. I watched from above as the man was cuffed and dragged off. From a distance I heard the policeman ask.

"Ma'am, what happened here?"

I watched as the old women looked up into the man's eyes her elderly voice rang out as she said, "I was just saved by a hero."

___

It took seven weeks for my ankle to heal. It probably would have healed faster if I hadn't used it, but hey it still healed. I was able to ice it. There's one uses the snow had. The snow melted a long time ago, in fact it was only there for a couple of days. Even though it melted away it was just as cold. Which made absolutely no sense but recently the weather has started to change. It's like the earth is trying to warm up. The whole city has little plants poking out in all the cracks. I liked it, it felt new. It was like life was in the air. For the first time it didn't feel like the world had given up.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have been memorizing the area. I found an abandoned building that overlooked a trashed filled beach. It was disgusting. The trash piled so high that you couldn't even see the sea, but that trash filled beach was a gold mind. I was able to find a couple of things that I moved into the building.

I figured out that this place was an old hotel but that the builder people did a bad job because the three bottom floors had collapsed. I found a way to the fifth floor, and the roof. I picked one of the rooms on the top floor that overlooked the beach, also if it collapsed again, I would be on top of the ruble not in it. In the room you could barely see the sea. That's why I picked this room out of the others on this floor.

That's not all I've been doing. Ever since that day when I helped those people, I have been wandering the streets at night. I've been able to help quite a few people. I would even go as far to say that I have saved a couple. I ditched the red mask and made a makeshift one from black clothes I found at the beach. It covered half of my face, but it was able to hide my youth. I learned from the kid and the old lady that they were uncomfortable when they saw my face or more likely my age. I wonder what happened to that kid.

I've been able to outrun the pros that have been chasing me. The most enjoying of them all was a man named EraserHead. With some digging I found out his real name was Shota Aizawa. He was the worst. He is hell bent on catching me. And when he does his people will put me into another cage. I'm never letting that happen. That's been my life at night. In the day I had found a place called a library. I have been there everyday since. I have read every book that I could get my hands on. I've been there so much that the people there have starting to talk to me. They even told me that if I paid a bit of money to get a library card I could take the books with me. But I don't have time or the money to do that. There was a poster outside of the library that said they needed help and they were looking for people for hire. I need money, so I've been thinking of asking for the job.
