What is your favourite plant?

Me: Yao! Yao! Look what I brought!
Yao: What is it, aru?
Me: *shows him a handful of seeds*
Yao: What are these for, aru? (○•ω•○)
Me: (^▽^) These are lotus seeds! I want to grow lotuses!
Yao: (^_^;) It's good that you found something worthwhile to do, aru. But I'm afraid we can't grow them.
Me: But why? ( ;△; )
Yao: Lotus plants can't be grown indoors, aru. They need a deep water body and a lot of mud to attach its roots in.
Me: *frowns*
Yao: But why do you want to grow lotuses out of all plants, aru?
Me: I really admire lotuses...
Yao: (・○・) Why?
Me: You see, even though they are surrounded by mud they bloom into beautiful flowers untainted by the dirt. It teaches us that our souls can remain pure and sinless too even in this corrupted world if we choose the correct path.
Yao: That's really wonderful, aru!
Me: Lotus represents awakening, spiritual growth and enlightenment. Untouched by impurity, it symbolizes purity of heart and mind.
Yao: *smiles* I'm really proud of your way of thinking, Natsu.
Me: *blushes* Thank you! But...we can't plant these seeds then...
Yao: Hmm...Why don't we take them to a nearby pond and grow them there, aru? (^_^)
Me: *face lightens up* Really? We can do that?
Yao: Shì! That way we can spread the meaning behind them.
Me: Thank you so much, Yao! Thank you for‐ *blushes*
Yao: Natsu?
Me: *shyly smiles* Thank you for always understanding me...
Yao: *cheeks turning red as he embraces her* We will no longer be friends now, Natsu...
Me: I...know...
Yao: *looks at her with gentle eyes* We are now going to become more than that, aru... *smiles*
Me: *shyly nods* I will keep annoying you for the rest of the life now.
Yao: (^////^) I will be the happiest man alive then, aru! Let's go and start the preparations.
Me: *gives a warm smile* Yes!
