Jacob was looking with his mouth open as he was holding his water bottle. "Flower p...". He was shocked. When did this happen?

He had just seen Leandro and Jean exchanging kisses. It showed to him that Jean was quite sure about her relationship. He didnt miss the fact that Jean initiated the kiss. Jean had actually kissed Leandro first. 

After Leandro called his team and took them to the field, Jacob walked to Jean "Flower pot... What is going on? Did I just see you kiss him? Are you sure about your relationship?"

Jean nodded "I am sure."

Jacob said "Did he pressure you to kiss him?"

Jean shook her head "No. He didnt."

Jacob said "Did he really deserve a kiss?"

Jean said "Yes. He did."

Jacob sighed "Ok. If you say so." He then walked away to the field and Jean joined the cheer leaders.

Jacob managed to become Leandro's training partner since he was last to join. Even the guy's brother, Leo, didnt want to be his partner and be scrutinised by Leandro. Jacob could totally understand. 

Jacob stood in front of Leandro. The session was intense. Jacob was training hard with all his strength. Jacob tackled Leandro. The force of tackle was quite harsh. This wasn't like training. Leandro dropped to the floor. The other players stayed clear of Leandro and Jacob. 

Jacob asked "Whats your intention towards my sister?"

Leandro stood up and tackled Jacob. "My intentions are honourable. Why do you ask now? Why not last night?" 

Jacob dropped to the floor and breathed "Now is as good as a time as any. I just saw my sister kiss you. Its serious now."

Leandro offered his hand to Jacob "I dont think we need to discuss this right now."

Jacob held Leandro's hand and then pulled hard and Leandro nearly fell. "Watch it around my sister. If you break her heart I will make you tumble." He then stood up.

Leandro sighed "I dont expect less from you. I wont hurt your sister."

Jacob said "You better not." He then picked up a ball and threw it at Leandro with all his strength. "I cant believe you kissed her."

Leandro caught the ball "Impressive throw... She kissed me first." He then threw the ball at Jacob.

Jacob caught it "She said you deserved the kiss."

Leandro raised an eyebrow "Really? She thinks that. Thank you."

Jacob threw the ball at him hoping it hit Leandro's head but Leandro caught it again.  "How did you manage to get a kiss is beyond me."

Leandro asked "Whats wrong with a kiss?"

Jacob said "Absolutely nothing. With your attitude I never thought you will get a kiss from my sister. Thats all."

Leandro said "My attitude? Well. My attitude depends on what the person standing opposite me does. You follow the rules, I wont have a problem. Your sister respects the rules. You don't." 

Leandro blew a whistle and said "20 more lapse everyone around the field."

Jacob was laughing. Leandro obviously hadn't seen Jean's other side yet.

After the practice was finished it was time for another water break. Leandro had to leave early for his Dean duties. Jacob walked to Jean and said "How was the cheer leader practice?"

Jean said "It was ok but... they are just too scared of me. I asked the boy who trains with us to throw me up in the air. He refused and all the girls said that leandro will slaughter them if anyone touches me or if I do anything risky. I wanted to be the one in the air. Why are you laughing?"

Jacob shook his head "I am just trying to imagine seeing you flying into the air while Leandro was in the middle of football field. I am imagining his face if he saw you up in the air. Dont let it get to you flower pot. He is just looking out for you."

Leandro was doing his dean duties in his office when Leo came inside. Leo cleared his throat "Hi."

Leandro didnt even look up "What do you want?"

Leo said "You know... Its about Elena."

Leandro still didnt look up from the papers he was reading "What about her?"

Leo said "I tried recruiting Michangelo. It didnt work. He said no."

Leandro said "I didnt ask whats up. I asked what do you want." He then looked up.

Leo said "To let Elena off the hook. I cant recruit Michangelo. He wont come play with us. He said if it wasn't for Natalia he would have joined... There was an argument in the background between him and Nicandro too. I was close to get him too.... But because of Natalia he wont join us. Just like Arcangelo who wont betray us because of Lavinia. But heavens help us if Lavinia breaks up with him. He would change alligence I bet...  Please leandro let it drop and forgive Elena."

Leandro said with a hint of a smile "Its only for Natalia. Huh? I knew Michangelo's allegiance was shaky... I already let Elena off the hook. I just asked you one thing in return."

Leo approached his brother and put his hands together "Please accept my apology on her behalf and let it go... I cant do ask you asked. Ask me for something else."

Leandro said "Fine. I will ask you to keep Elena as far away from Jean as possible from now on. If anything happens again Elena is getting expelled with a bad reference."

Leo took a breath of relief. "You mean it? You will let it go?"

Leandro said "I will let her go to lessons but she has detention still for what she has done."

Leo asked "What do you want in return?"

Leandro said "I suggest you leave before I change my mind because I am in a generous mood."

Leo said "You are...Ok. I am gone. Thank you Leandro. I owe you one...." He was meant to say I owe Jean one... He knew why his brother was being nice. It was because of Jean. His brother had a date yesterday and he had his first kiss too. So Leo owed Jean big time."

Leo ran to Elena's on campus accommodation to give her a big news.

Leandro was still sitting in his office when another visitor came barging into his office soundly and slammed the door. He looked up and was about to berate the culprit but then stopped and raised an eyebrow "Nicandro? What a pleasant surprise."

Nicandro put his hands on his hips in the same manner his father, uncle Tristan did. He narrowed his eyes "You... have been scouting my players. Dont deny it."

Leandro stood up and started walking around the desk "Player. Not players.... Just Michangelo..."

Nicandro said "He sends his regards..."

Leandro said "Give him my regards,..."

Nicandro said "So you dont deny that your brother has been scouting Michangleo and you knew about it."

Leandro leaned to the desk and smiled "Whats the matter Nicandro? Was he close to saying yes and only your sister stopped him? I can imagine you have no hold over your players. None of my squad will be lost because I trust them to stay. So scouting is no worry for me. Are you worried I may pull some of your players? Do you deny that Michangelo is only staying because of Natalia? Some team you have... All loyal..."

Nicandro walked closer "I wont forget this... When we play it would be a blood bath."

Leandro said "Oh. I will be waiting for the game when we clash.... Just keep a hold of your players. We cant have your team to end up with just the two of you and your brother Nathan. Before you know it, all your soldiers may desert you..." He then chuckled.

Nicnadro said "Stay away from my players or you never know, you may end up with you and Leo there when we get to the clash. You scout my players, I will scout yours starting with your star quarterback, Jacob Neuer and ... I will make a few of your players disappear on the day of the game. Back off Michangelo. This is your warning..." He then left. 

Leandro laughed. He was mad at him for trying to pull Michangelo. It seemed comical. To be fair, Michangelo was worth alot. But he did take Nicandro's threat seriously. He would exact revenge if he wanted to. Leandro knew why Nicandro was mad. Michangelo didnt even care for football. It was hard to keep him loyal. Leandro also knew Jacob was a free spirited guy. He would have left the team if it wasn't worth fighting for his team.
