Donghyuck walked back to his ward, seeing Hyemin outside looking worried and once she spotted him, she looked quite mad.

"Where were you!? What if you get attacked again?"

"I'm sorry- I took her on a date..." was all Donghyuck said as he gently placed down the girl onto the couch in his ward.

"Get back to bed, you know how dangerous it is yet you still..." Hyemin sighed and tucked the teenager in bed.

"I love her Hyemin... I just wanted to make her mine before I lose my chance forever," he said softly before laying back.

Hyemin nodded, "Well, I'm glad, and congratulations both of you for getting together. I'm gonna go get you something to eat, stay in bed, okay?"

"Okay, Hyemin."

As the woman left, Donghyuck averted his gaze onto his lover. A sad smile cast on his lips.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to sing for you."

Donghyuck slowly closed his eyes, breathing in the clinic smell of his room. A few minutes past and a burning feeling surged through his whole body. His chest tightening and the feeling of something clogging hurt him.

His breaths were sharp and short, eyes flashing in panic as he shouted, "Misun!"

The girl slowly woke up to the sound of the machine beeping out loudly and rapid shallow breathing. Her eyes shot wide, "Hyuck! No- Please wait- SOMEONE HELP!"

"ANYBODY! PLEASE!" she yelled out loud, her vision getting blurry. She gritted her teeth and pushed herself forward, letting herself fall onto the glossy floor.

"Please- Hyuck! No- Don't leave me! Not now-"

Dark spots slowly covering his vision, he gave Misun one last look, "I love you." he mouthed before nurses and doctors started rushing in, trying to do their best and save the young boy's life.

Misun cried out loud, watching hopelessly. Her nurse pulled her out of the scene, not wanting her to suffer more. Everyone was frantic, Hyemin was panting heavily, the scarred look on her face told everything.

The sounds of the heartbeat machine failing- the familiar one line flashed into her eyes.

Both of Hyemin's arm dropped to her side heavily. Pain struck her as they all stared at the lifeless boy. She bit down her bottom lip hard before looking way, I'm sorry I failed to save you.
