Chapter 56

"Leah, listen to me. You know I love you, right?" Draco asked. I looked at him with raised eyebrows.

 "Of course," I said.

"Then I need you to please behave. Change your eyes and hair, otherwise you're definitely in trouble," he said seriously. I rolled my eyes and blinked, making my hair a warm brown and my eyes green.

"Okay, now change your eyes," he said.

 "I did," I protested.

 "Leah...they're still red," he said.

"Crap," I muttered. I tried several times to change them, but nothing worked.

"Here, we're running out of time," he said urgently, waving his wand.

"I enchanted them; they're green again. Yes, you are welcome," he smirked.

"I have a plan, Draco. Do not worry about me...just play along," I whispered as people were about to round the corner. I pretended to faint and Draco caught me, but my eyes were open as if I just woke up. Umbridge, Dumbledore, Severus, Filch, and McGonagall looked at me and then I saw Ministry officials round the corner. This better work! I might have to fight my way out of this.

"There she is! Mister Malfoy you are aiding a criminal!" Umbridge said.

"Now, now, she is no criminal yet. We have nothing to charge her with," Dumbledore said calmly, yet his eyes showed fear.

"Merlin, where am I?" I asked, rubbing my forehead which was burning up.

"What do you mean, where are you?" Umbridge asked curtly.

"This is not my dorm room," I said, pretending to blink against the 'bright' lights.

"Miss Riddle, you are well aware of what happened," Umbridge glared.

"No...I'm not," I said in confusion. I looked around and furrowed my brow.

"Was I sleep walking?" I asked Draco and he raised his eyebrows at me.

"You mean you don't remember what happened?" he asked.

"No, what happened?" I asked with a frown.

"Maybe we should take this into my office," Dumbledore said, and Umbridge nodded stiffly.

"Mister Malfoy, give her to one of the officials, just to be safe," she narrowed her eyes at me. Draco nervously handed me over and the official put magical handcuffs on my wrists.

"What are these for?" I asked shrilly.

"To restrain you," Umbridge said coldly.  I was carried up to Dumbledore's office and my eyes started watering. Pretty soon tears were falling and no, I was not crying. The spell Draco put on my eyes made them hurt really badly. We walked into the office and I was set down on a chair with the two officers on either side of me.

"Miss Riddle, I do believe we have some things to discuss," Dumbledore said, looking worried.

"You are being sent to Azkaban," Umbridge said and Dumbledore held up his hand.

"Not yet, but that is a possibility. The other possibility is St. Mungo's for the insane. Your brain has possibly been filled with so much dark magic that you've been destroyed by it; mentally of course," Dumbledore said.

"Professor, I'm not insane, and I'm not a criminal. What did I even do?" I asked.

"You killed a student!" Umbridge yelled and I raised one eyebrow at her.

"No I did not," I disagreed.

"Actually, Miss Riddle, you did," Dumbledore said sadly.

 "Who?" I asked.

"A first year, Preston Wilde," he said grimly.

 "What...when?" I asked in a fake panic.

"In the common room earlier. You set him on fire because you turned into what could be considered a human torch," Dumbledore frowned.

"How does that make me insane? When did this happen?" I cried.

"What exactly do you remember?" Dumbledore asked, peering over his half-moon spectacles.

"I went to bed and I was having a dream about Voldemort. He wanted me to do something...release this inner power... he needed my help. I felt compelled to help him, I wasn't in control...and all of a sudden I woke up in Draco's arms. Apparently I was unconscious in the dungeons," I said.

"You-know-who is not alive," Umbridge said firmly.

"Well, that doesn't mean he isn't trying to communicate," Dumbledore mused.

"Professor, what does this mean?" McGonagall spoke up.

"We cannot be positive, but she could have been possessed by her father," Dumbledore said gravely. Yes, my plan is working!

"Then she is insane! She should be locked up!" Umbridge yelled.

"We are not locking her up," McGonagall said sternly.

"She is a threat!" Umbridge said.

"She's a student in danger," Dumbledore said calmly.

"If I may say so, I believe she was possessed. The Dark marks have gotten darker and only the Dark Lord could have given her that mark. He could very well be back," Severus pointed out.

"He is not back," Umbridge said slowly. I blinked back another wave of tears and shifted.

"But I saw him," I sniffed.

"That's because you are insane, dear," Umbridge said gently.

"Here, we'll send her to St. Mungo's for testing, and after about four days they will tell us the results. Leah, how does this sound?" Dumbledore asked.

"I'll do it to prove I am not insane," I said, and they took off my handcuffs.

"We will have Ministry officials patrolling the halls so you do not have another incident. It's about three in the morning; I suggest you return to bed. We will send you to St. Mungo's in the morning," Umbridge said with a sweet smile, and then walked out. I stood up and Draco walked next to me with the Ministry officials close behind. Dumbledore, Severus, and McGonagall went their separate ways, so it was only us four.

"If you test positive, they'll keep you there forever," Draco said, breaking the silence.

 "I won't test positive," I glared.

"Leah... you didn't see yourself. It was frightening, and you were a completely different person," Draco whispered.

"Draco," I said, stopping him. The officials stopped as well.

"I will be fine," I said, looking into his eyes.

"What will I do if they send you to Azkaban?" he asked and I blinked, taking the spell off my eyes.

"You will never forget me, but you'll live out your life. You'll find a girl who is better than me, and she'll be completely normal," I said, and he shook his head.

"I don't want another girl," he said firmly. I stared at him for a moment, pushing down the swell of emotion that rose inside of me.

"Good," I said, turning back around and continuing walking to the common room.

"You have to promise you will not let anything happen to you!" he said, taking my hand.

"Draco, when have I ever let something happen to myself?" I asked putting a hand to his cheek.

"There's always a first for everything," he said and I just shrugged, walking into the common room.

"Oh, boys? I won't need your service anymore," I winked at the officials, slamming the door in their face.

"Leah!" Pansy cried. She ran up and then slowed down, hesitantly hugging me. I hugged her back and she started crying.

"They said they wanted to send you to Azkaban! It isn't like they kept it a secret," she said bitterly.

"I know, they aren't sending me to Azkaban," I said, pulling away and looking around. Everyone was awake and some people were crying as house elves tried getting rid of the singe marks and replacing the lights. Ryan, Preston's brother, was sitting on the couch looking pale and shocked. Ariana was in a corner with her hands covering her face, and I assumed she was crying. Blaise was looking at me with his jaw slightly open and everyone was definitely scared out of their wits.

 "Oh thank God!" Pansy cried.

"They're sending me to St. Mungo's insane ward," I said, not really paying attention.

"What?" she shrieked.

"Oh my god, look at my eyes," I said, looking into the mirror. They were red with gold and blue flecks; like fire. They seem to sparkle and move too, as if there was hot lava behind my eyes; it was beautiful.

"Leah, why are they sending you to the insane ward?" Pansy cried.

"Leah, please, I am so sorry!" Ariana sobbed, looking up at me.

"No, it isn't your fault. I just have an interesting history with Riley; don't worry about it," I said dismissively.

"Leah!" Pansy yelled with tears running down her face.

"They think I was possessed by Voldemort and they think that the Dark Magic has destroyed my mental health," I said finally.

 "That's rubbish!" Blaise yelled angrily.

"I won't be there forever; in four days' time they'll take some tests and if I test positive for insanity, then I will be there forever. For now, it's only four days," I said.

"I should've never brought up Riley," Ariana whispered.

"Ariana, it's okay," I said exasperatedly.

 "You're different," Pansy observed.

"You should have seen her at my house," Draco whispered so only Pansy, Ariana, and Blaise could hear.

"I am completely fine," I said coldly.

"Leah...what if you do test positive?" Pansy asked, crying again.

"Do you guys really think I'm insane?" I asked bitterly.

"No, but there is a lot of dark magic in you; you aren't normal," Pansy cried.

"If I have to, I'll fight my way out," I said darkly.

"Leah, I don't want you to go," Pansy said softly.

"I don't have a choice; they're stationing Ministry officials around the school anyway," I said with a shrug.

"What?" they all gasped except for Draco.

"Yeah...well I'm going to bed," I rolled my eyes, walking up to my dorm.

***

"Leah, they want you out of bed now," Pansy said, shaking my shoulder. I flicked my hand so she gently slid back and I looked at her. She was attempting to smile at me.

"Fine," I said grumpily. I got up and washed my face, admiring my eyes once again. I made my hair black and put on smoky black eye makeup. I looked like a phoenix represented in human form and it was awesome. I pulled on an emerald dress and slipped a black sweater over it. I rummaged through my shoes and pulled on high heeled ankle boots; why not leave in style? I walked out of the bathroom to find Pansy waiting and she looked at me with approval.

"Going out with a bang," she smirked.

"Of course," I smiled. My hair was curled and placed into a fancy little up do, but I still looked awesome. I walked downstairs and most people were at breakfast already. There was no doubt in my mind that the whole school knew what happened, and I didn't care one bit. People should fear me; I'm the heiress of Slytherin. I walked out of the common room and immediately two officials were at my side.

"Ugh, it's too early to have you people following me," I sneered and they glared down at me.

"What are your names, if you must follow me?" I asked and Pansy shied back from them.

"I am Xavier," said the darker skin toned man.

"I am Artos," said the blonde.

"Well, now that we're well acquainted, you may escort me," I smirked and Artos went to grab my arm but I coolly brushed him off.

"No touching," I said dangerously and they shared looks of fear. We continued walking and we didn't encounter anyone until we reached the Great Hall, where two more officials were standing. They nodded at Xavier and Artos before opening the door. I kept my head held high and a smirk on my face as I strut in. The Hall watched as I walked in, and I noticed officials on either side of the staff table, as well as on each side of the room.

"Sit and eat," Xavier commanded and I looked at him with my eyebrows raised.

"Excuse me?" I asked and he clenched his jaw.

"Please, Miss Riddle," he said and I nodded.

"That's what I thought," I smirked, sitting next to Draco.

"You look great," Draco said and I sighed dramatically.

"Oh yes, I know," I laughed, and I looked back to see Xavier and Artos hovering over me.

"I'm eating, there's nothing insane about that," I said sarcastically.

"We're only doing our job," Artos said, looking down at me.

"Whatever," I rolled my eyes. I got scrambled eggs and bacon, eating slowly so I annoyed the officials; they wanted to be rid of me and I knew it.

"No, you cannot have contact with her," I heard Xavier say and I turned around to see the trio.

"Oh shut up," I pushed them aside, standing up. The other officials made moves to rush over, but once they realized I wasn't doing anything, they assumed their previous positions. I gave them all cold glares and then turned my attention to the trio.

"Leah...are you really going to an insane ward?" Granger asked, trying to avoid my smoldering eyes.

"Yes," I nodded. Artos was almost freaking on top of me, so I turned around, pushing him back.

"Could you give me some breathing room?" I asked with a flash of extra red added to my eyes. Xavier held me back and I threw his hand aside.

"Knock it off," I said, and I saw the other officials slowly moving closer. I turned back to the trio and they were wide eyed.

"I heard you were going to Azkaban," Potter said.

"No, they were really trying to send me there, though," I said.

"Don't you mean Umbridge?" Weasley asked bitterly.

 "Yes," I rolled my eyes.

"I don't believe for a second that you're insane...but I did hear you were terrifying last night," Granger said.

 "I suppose I was," I shrugged.

"They're sending you to a mental ward for that, though?" Potter frowned.

"Well I did kill someone," I said.

 "Who?" Granger gasped.

"Preston Wilde...it was an accident, I don't even remember any of it!" I cried.

"What do they suspect?" Granger asked.

"They think Voldemort possessed me," I whispered.

"Time for talking is done," Artos said, pulling me back.

"I was not done!" I protested.

"It's time for you to leave," Xavier said.

"I'll see you guys in four days!" I called and I saw Pansy start to cry. She clutched Draco's hand, and as I scanned the room I saw Ariana staring at me with a look that clearly said 'I'm sorry'. They pulled me out of the Hall and when I was brought out of Hogwarts, I saw kids crowded around the windows, watching us. Umbridge joined us and so did about five more officials. Dumbledore walked along with us as well and I subconsciously traced my dark mark. If only He knew what was happening to me. They walked me out of the gates and I felt my wand pressing into my back; I hid it under my clothing. No one will ever take my wand away from me. They brought me into a huge carriage pulled by hippogriffs and they shoved me inside. The Ministry officials followed me and then Umbridge climbed in with a sweet smile.

 "Hello dear," she smiled.

 "Hello," I said dully.

"I hope you make yourself comfortable in St. Mungo's. Just think, if you do test positive, maybe you can get a nice cozy cell in Azkaban!" she said with a sugary giggle.

"That's only my biggest dream," I rolled my eyes.

 "Oh I'm sure," she smiled.

"Xavier, are you going to be keeping me company?" I asked.

"No," he said, looking straight ahead.

"Aw why? We can be great friends," I whined and he glared at me.

"Now, now, I'm sure you'll make other insane friends," Umbridge said brightly.

"Oh goodie!" I said just as brightly. We sat in silence for a while, and then Umbridge cleared her throat. Ahem.

"Now, please explain to me how it is even possible for you-know-who to possess you?" she asked.

"I don't know, ma'am. I mean, I'm his daughter and maybe he wants to get me on his side. I don't want to be on his side," I said with a slight frown.

"I see...Miss Riddle, do you honestly believe this is the cause?" she asked.

 "Yes," I nodded.

"Well, then I do not expect to see you back in school," she said smugly and I just stared out the window; I hadn't realized the hippogriffs were flying. I felt a slight thud and Umbridge clapped her hands.

"Oh here we are," she smiled and I was brought out after the officials.

"Come with us, dear," Umbridge said and I scowled. They brought me inside and the nurses and healers stepped out of our way.

"Fifth floor," the receptionist said and Umbridge nodded, leading the way. We walked up the five floors and a nurse saw us, leading us over to a room.

"This is where you will be staying over these four days, Leah," she smiled as they lead me inside.

"Take off your jacket, please," the nurse said. I shrugged it off and two officials started patting me down.

"She's got her wand," one of them said.

"Give it to us," Umbridge said.

 "No," I narrowed my eyes.

"You may have it back after the four days; if you're so sure you're mentally stable," Umbridge smiled and I brought my hand back, grabbing the wand and throwing it at her. She caught it and put it in a box that she locked magically.

"We shall be leaving," Umbridge smirked, and only two officials stayed.

"Leah, my name is Katarina and I'll be the nurse who just checks in, sort of keeps you company," she said perkily.

 "Great," I said sarcastically.

"You won't be wearing your own clothes though," she said with a sympathetic look.

 "Why?" I asked sharply.

"We need you to wear our clothes," she said apologetically.

 "No," I said coolly.

"I'm sorry dear, you don't have much of a choice; but I'll get you the best we have," she promised.

"Now I just need some simple information such as height, weight, age, date of birth; the usual," she said.

"Okay, so let's measure you," she said, pulling out a measuring tape that undid itself and floated over to find my exact height.

"Okay, five foot five inches," she wrote it down.

"Weight," she muttered, pushing me over to a scale.

"One hundred and fifteen pounds on the dot," she said.

"How old are you, love?" she asked.

 "Fifteen," I said.

 "Okay, and date of birth?"

"July fifteenth, nineteen ninety six," I sighed.

 "Right, normal eye color?"

 "Green."

 "Hair color?"

"Brown."

"See, that wasn't bad," she smiled.

"Nope," I glared, sitting on the surprisingly comfortable bed. The walls were white, but there were thankfully windows. They brought in a Slytherin banner to make it more 'homey' but honestly it just looked out of place; like I did.

"For now you can just sit back and relax, but around two thirty we'll be doing our first test," she explained.

 "Yay," I said sarcastically.

"I'll come back with your clothes and then bring you to the recreation room," she said and I waved her off. I sighed, staring at the white ceiling and then looked at the officials.

"What are your names?" I asked and they looked at me.

 "Demetri," said the built one.

"Kilos," said the Greek looking one.

"You two are my new besties," I said and they shared a look.

 "Please?" I pouted.

 "Fine," Kilos smirked.

"I like you two much better than Xavier and Artos!" I smiled. Hey, if I'm going to be classified as insane, why not act it?

"Here you are, Leah!" Katarina said, walking back in.

"I found the best of the best," she smiled. I looked at the white dress and white tennis sneakers. There were also white sweatpants and a white tee shirt, along with a white sweatshirt and a white skirt.

"You know, if I'm on my period all this white is really not good," I said.

"Only you aren't on your period, so you have to wear them," she said with a sad smile.

"Ugh, fine! Sweatpants and a tee shirt it is," I groaned. I undressed quickly as the two officials averted their eyes.

"Alright, well off to the rec room! You can make some friends, that way you won't be too bored," she smiled. I followed her out of my room into a purple room with a TV and video games; a lot of muggle things. There was also wizards chess and a mini Quidditch pitch that had miniature players charmed to race around. The Daily Prophet and the Quibbler were both stacked on the tables for anyone to read, and there was a library on the far side of the room.

"Hello everyone," Katarina smiled and everyone looked up.

"Hello!" called an old man, hobbling over.

"Oh, look at this young lady. Are you with the Ministry?" he asked, taking my hands.

 "No," I said bluntly.

"She's a patient, Pallando," Katarina smiled.

"Oh, hello! I hope you enjoy yourself; watch out for the nargles though, they're everywhere," he smiled a toothless smile. I gave him a small smile and then looked around at the other patients. Some people were muttering to themselves, others were just in a corner, staring at nothing. They were almost like a lifeless shell. However, there was one girl, who seemed completely normal. She had skin as white as snow, with hair to go with it, and her eyes were an interesting and bright purple. She was staring at me with a slight smile and she stood up, walking over.

 "Hi, I'm Violet," she smiled.

 "Leah," I nodded.

 "You're new, correct?" she asked.

"Violet, could you just show her around, I have to go," Katarina said and Violet glared.

"I intended on it," she said and Katarina gave her a stern look.

"I'll be back later," she warned. She walked off and Violet shook her head.

 "Isn't she annoying?" she asked.

"She is. To answer your question, yes I am new," I said.

"What have they diagnosed you with?" she asked.

"Well, nothing yet; they assume I'm insane. I go to Hogwarts and I had an incident last night. I sort of turned into a human version of a phoenix... and I killed someone. I don't remember it though; they think the Dark Lord possessed me. It was either this or Azkaban. I'm here for four days until they can prove I'm not insane," I said.

"The Dark Lord; that's crazy! Hah, no pun intended," she smiled.

"He's my father," I said bluntly.

"Oh my God you're Leah Riddle? Then you are definitely not crazy," she snorted.

"I know... why are you here?" I asked.

"Well, I sort of go into fits. I see prophecies, only they aren't ever valid enough, or clear enough, to call me a Seer. That's why I'm in here; sometimes I start talking in tongues too...but I'm not insane. I never hurt anyone," she shrugged.

 "Oh...that's unfortunate," I said.

"So you were supposed to go to Azkaban?" she asked, sitting down. I sat next to her and sighed.

"Yeah, but Dumbledore helped me get out of it. I have to be monitored twenty-four seven, though," I rolled my eyes. Violet's eyes moved to the door and she nodded.

"Yes, I can tell," she said and I glanced back, seeing two more Ministry officials.

"So, Riddle me this," she smirked, "does the whole school think you're insane?"

"No, my friends don't," I shook my head.

"Who are these friends; anyone I might know?" she asked, lounging back.

"Well, Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini, Clarissa Moon, Sapphire and Damon Loveland" I sighed.

"That's it?" she smirked. I laughed and shook my head.

"No, but I didn't want to list everyone in Slytherin. Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Harry Potter don't believe I'm insane, either," I said and she gasped.

"You know Harry Potter?" she asked.

"Yes... my father happens to hate him," I reminded her.

"I know, but I mean, you know him personally?" she asked, wide eyed.

 "Oh yeah," I nodded.

"We're actually pretty good friends; we did go through the Triwizard tournament together," I said.

"I remember reading that in the Prophet," she nodded.

"I just want to leave. No one in my family knows where I am," I said.

"Really? They didn't even let you contact them?" Violet gasped.

"They barely let me say goodbye to my friends," I snorted.

"They must really think you're a threat then," she said in awe.

"You could say that," I laughed.

"Leah, hi," smiled a woman who looked like a life-sized Barbie. Her hair was pin straight and it was golden blonde, the tan tone to her skin made her stand out against all the white, and her pink full lips were pulled back into a warm smile. So here she was, standing in front of me, like fire and ice. A cold hearted girl with pale skin and fiery eyes against beach Barbie.

 "What?" I asked.

"I'm Nicole, one of the nurses, and I have a letter for you," she smiled. I  raised my eyebrows but stayed silent.

"It was brought by a very pretty owl. She might have been yours...anyway, it came from Hogwarts," she smiled.

"Mhm. Are you going to be around me often?" I glared.

"Yes, whenever Katarina can't make it, I'll be here! Isn't that great?" she asked.

"No," I said coolly, snatching the letter away. I felt my fingers twitch and a slow burning ember of rage started building up inside me. There it goes again...the urge to hurt. Maim. Kill. My skin started tingling with a burning sensation and I smirked. I don't know why I smirked; this cannot happen here. They won't even need to test me, I'll be classified insane by default. I saw my hair slowly turning red and the tips that weaved in and out of my updo turned to wisps of flame, which had an amazing effect. Violet watched me wide eyed and Nicole stepped back. My palms burned but I forced the flames to stay trapped inside; I cannot risk this.

"Leah, follow me," Violet said, forcing me to my feet. I felt the flames ignite in my palms and I glared at her.

"We've got a problem," one of the guards said to a patronus. Violet gave me a stern look and grabbed me, sprinting through the wall of guards that were moving in. Violet threw me into a room and locked the door behind us, bolting it and then shoving as many heavy objects in front of it as she could.

"Fight me," she said and I narrowed my eyes.

"Oh, are you sure?" I asked, piercing her with my eyes and giving her a sarcastic smile.

"Do it," she said and I came at her. She blocked my kicks and I blocked hers, as well as any punches either of us threw. I turned to wandless magic, which I was surprised I could use in this place, and let the flames lick at my palms. I threw fire are her, and she used protective walls of water to block them.

"Give up?" I yelled over the sound of yelling guards and the roar of the fire.

"Never!" she smirked. I gathered a bigger ball of fire and swirled it around the room, attacking her from all sides. She used both hands to make a circle of water around her, and finally, she pushed out the water so it soaked me. My hands went out and I smiled at her.

"I feel much better now," I laughed.

"Good! I read about the Power of the Phoenix and when you told me your story, I thought maybe you had it. Then when you caught fire and had that terrifying look in your eyes, I knew you had it. All you had to do was fight or kill, so I chose the first option. I am one hell of a witch once you get past the whole 'insane' factor," she smiled.

"Thanks," I smiled, "I'll probably need your help a lot."

"I know, Power of the Phoenix," she winked.

"Please explain that more," I said.

"Maybe you should face the guards and pray that you don't get sent straight to Azkaban," she laughed. We moved the furniture and opened the door to find a wall of guards. They pulled me out and handcuffed my hands together.

"Stop!" I said, my voice echoing off the walls, and they did as I said.

"I was angry that's all; when I get angry I just need to fight a little," I said and the guards looked around.

"We'll take her," Katarina said, walking up with Nicole.

"It's time for her first test; she isn't your responsibility, she's ours while she's here," Nicole pointed out. The guards released me but left the handcuffs on, and Nicole led me down the hall.

"You need to extinguish that for the test," Katarina said, looking at my hair. I glared at her and blinked so it returned to normal.

"Can you take off these cuffs please?" I asked Demetri who was behind me along with Kilos.

"You're unstable," Demetri said just before Kilos made a move to get the keys.

"Well, she isn't our responsibility anymore. We can take them off," Kilos said, looking at me with a smile.

"Thank you," I sighed with relief as he unlocked them.

"You are my favorite guard in the world," I winked.

"Oh, the letter!" I remembered, taking it out of my shoe.

Dear Leah,

If it makes you feel better, I know that you're just as sane as I am. Don't listen to Umbridge or anyone that says otherwise. Sometimes strange things happen because we're special; I know for a fact that you're unique. I sent Alisana by the way, she looked lonely, and if you need me to, I'll take care of Hydra, too. I heard Pansy say that she was curled up on your bed hissing. She seems to miss you. I know you'll be back soon though, after four days they'll see that you're perfectly fine. You just have to make sure you use a special spell to repel nargles; they're worst when you're in hospitals. I'm sorry I couldn't say goodbye, but the officials quite honestly frightened me, and you were in and out so quickly that I barely saw you before you left. I do hope you're comfortable there, and all us Ravenclaw's wish you much luck! I know as a Riddle you probably don't feel fear right now, but I'm sure you're at least nervous. I won't be upset if you don't write back; they might not let you. However, if you can write back, I won't mind passing on any messages if you would like. Hope to see you soon!

                                  Luna.

I smiled at her letter; I hadn't expected it to be quite honest. What intrigued me the most was the symbol she drew next to it. It was a six pointed star made of two triangles; one was red.

"Come in here, Leah," Nicole smiled and I walked into a room.

"Hello Leah, I am Dr. Greyson," smiled a man with pepper colored hair and an ageless face.

 "Hi," I said blankly.

"We'll be doing a mind wave test. We can look into your brain waves and see the sections of your brain that are over active, underactive, or just plain strange," he chuckled. I raised my eyebrows at him and his smile slipped.

"Well, have a seat," he said, gesturing to a chair. I sat down and he started taking the bobby pins out of my hair.

"I worked hard on that," I growled.

"I'm very sorry but we cannot have any interference," he apologized. My hair fell around my shoulders and he stepped in front of me.

"Okay, close your eyes and I'll start asking questions," he said and I closed my eyes.

"When I say Voldemort, what do you think?" he asked, and I felt a cold chill hover around my head.

"He's my father, and I was possessed by him," I said.

"What do you think when you hear the word insane?"

"All the best people are insane," I smiled.

 "Do you believe you're insane?"

 "No," I said.

"Do you think you'll go to Azkaban?"

"If Umbridge can buy her way into it, sure," I shrugged.

"How do you feel about Umbridge?"

 "I hate her," I said.

"How does she feel about you?"

 "Isn't that obvious?" I snorted.

"Do you believe you-know-who is back?"

"Of course I do," I said.

"Okay...that's all we need," he said. I opened my eyes and saw a picture of different wave lengths coming out from his wand.

"Did I do well?" I asked.

"Everything seems normal, but there is an abundance of darker magic that tints all of your thoughts," he said, pointing to the darker shading covering each wave.

"Will that keep me here as insane?" I asked.

"No, but it might just land you in Azkaban if your fire girl charade continues," he grimaced.
