Chapter 50

"Quidditch sounds fun," I said, eating ice cream.

"You're pretty good at it,"Draco smile, and I looked at him for a while. Oh, I do hope I made the right decision! We'll find out eventually, won't we?

"Why are you staring at him?" Crabbe frowned.

"She's probably trying to remember something," Ariana said and I looked down quickly.

"No, um, I was just thinking. I kind of zoned out," I laughed with an easy going smile.

"Well I hope we explained Quidditch well enough for you to fake it on Tuesday," Sapphire said. We explained to her I had amnesia before anyone came into the common room, and they also explained my plans for the Slytherin Defense class. Then they just explained Quidditch to make life easier.

"I'm exhausted you guys, so Leah come on. You need your rest too, we have lessons tomorrow," Pansy said, dragging me, and my ice cream, upstairs.

"Night love!" Draco called and I barely had time to say goodnight back.

"What is up with you?"Pansy asked, locking the door.

"Nothing," I shrugged, stuffing ice cream into my mouth. Pansy took my bowl and spoon away, crossing her arms.

"You've looked conflicted and troubled all night," she said.

"I'm just so lost and confused about everything," I said, falling onto my bed.

"Leah, sweetie, when it comes to Draco just trust your gut. You've never thought rationally when it comes to him," she rolled her eyes.

"Thanks Pansy," I said, rolling over.

"Goodnight Leah, and just relax. You'll get your memories back," Pansy said softly, blowing out the candles that illuminated our dorm.

"Goodnight, Pansy," I whispered.

"Do you bring good news?" father asked the two men in front of him.

"Well... it's news, my Lord," he bowed.

"Yaxley, do not keep me waiting," father hissed.

"They've increased their security," he gulped.

"How so?" father asked between clenched teeth.

"They're not only patrolling the door, but also the corridor and the whole bottom floor," Yaxley said nervously.

"We must build up our army if we want to get those Prophecy's," father hissed.

"My Lord, why do we need Leah's?" asked the other.

"I believe it will explain how we can make sure she is on our side. I know Dumbledore will be persuading her every chance he gets," father narrowed his eyes.

"We will recruit new Death Eaters right away, my Lord. I shall train them personally," Yaxley bowed.

"Indeed you will...if you want to remain alive," father threatened, walking off as the dream dissolved.

"This weather is disgusting," Pansy groaned as we left our last class of the day.

"Gryffindor has to practice Quidditch in it," I said, looking out the window.

"Well good! You are on a completely different planet!" Pansy said in frustration. I looked around and pulled Pansy to the side.

"I had a dream last night. It was about my father, and some sort of security increase. I'm not sure, it was odd," I frowned.

"You think Potter had the same one?" she asked.

"Why would he?" I asked in confusion.

"Oh, you don't remember! You have a scar just like Potter's on your back. You got it after your dad saved your life....even though he was the one killing you," Pansy explained.

"Oh...no I don't think he did. I mean, I feel like I'm the only one who saw it," I said, feeling like that was true.

"Alright, if things start bothering you just say something. We could go to your father," she suggested.

"No, I don't want him to know I can see what's happening. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to know," I sighed. We continued walking to the Great Hall, and I saw the Gryffindor Quidditch team walking outside. Hah, they have practice in the rain. I sat in between Pansy and Draco, eating my dinner in silence.

"You've been awfully quiet," Draco observed.

"She's focusing on memories, stop bothering her," Pansy covered for me.

"Sorry," Draco said, giving me a small smile.

"It's fine," I shrugged. We were almost finished eating when a sharp pain seared through my back.

"Ouch!" I yelled, grabbing my back.

"Leah," Pansy said in alarm.

"Sorry, I'm fine," I laughed, straightening up.

"I moved in an odd way and something pulled in my back," I rolled my eyes.

"You're so clumsy," Sapphire laughed.

"Little Leah, hurting herself all the time," Damon teased. I laughed a little and stood up, walking out into the Great Hall. I waved off Pansy and Draco who were trying to follow me, and I leaned against the wall, frowning. I heard footsteps coming my way and I pressed myself against the wall, hearing hushed voices.

"Harry, you're reading you-know-who's mind!" Weasley said.

"No, it's more like...his mood, I suppose. I'm just getting flashes of what mood he's in...Dumbledore said something like this was happening last year... he said that when Voldemort was near me, or when he was feeling hatred, I could tell. Well, now I'm feeling when he's pleased too..." Potter said. Oh my God, I wasn't the only one who felt that! Potter felt that pain in his scar, too!

"You've got to tell someone," Weasley said. I definitely have to tell Pansy, but I am not worrying Draco with this.

"I told Sirius last time,"Potter said.

"Well tell him about this time!"

"Can't, can I?" Potter asked grimly.

"Umbridge is watching the owls and fires," Potter said. Good to know!

"Well then Dumbledore..."Weasley said.

"I've told you, he already knows. There's no point in telling him again," Potter said. Why didn't Dumbledore tell me that? He also doesn't know about my scar... I mean, I just found out about it as well!

"Hey Harry," I said stepping out of the shadows, only to be pushed back.

"How much did you hear?" he asked wide eyed.

"The whole thing, but don't worry, I won't say anything," I said.

"How can I trust you?" he narrowed his eyes.

"What my dad doesn't know, won't hurt him. Besides, I don't really give a damn," I said dismissively.

"You are on our side,"Potter agreed. Well, if that's what you'd like to think... I know whose side I'm on anyway.

"Oh and the DA meeting has been moved to tomorrow night," Potter said, even quieter than before.

"Alright, same time and place?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'll see you later,"he said and I nodded to them both. When they walked off, I started casually walking to Severus's office, but broke into a sprint when no one was around. I ran into his room, and then into the fireplace.

"Malfoy Manor!" I shouted. I stepped through the cloud of ashes and coughed; I'm not very good at this.

"Leah," father narrowed his eyes at me.

"Hello father," I said.

"What are you doing here?"he asked.

"I got bored," I said, brushing off my jeans.

"Shouldn't you be learning?" he asked.

"Lessons are over for the day," I shrugged.

"I see...let me ask you something. You are on our side, correct?" he asked.

"I wouldn't be here if I wasn't," I said.

"We need you on our side in this war, Leah. You see, if we lose, you are going to Azkaban, no matter whose side you're on. If you're on our side, we will undoubtedly win, which means you continue roaming free, and you don't have to worry about Azkaban. If you chose the other side, you will not have a father anymore, Draco and his family will be either killed, given to the dementors, or put in Azkaban, and you my dear, will not be on top of the world anymore. Everyone you love will be gone, and little Leah will be all alone to live out her life with the Weasley's and Potter," father said, sitting me down.

"That mark on your arm means no one will trust you. If you choose the other side, you will have to work at the Ministry or have some other low paying job. If you stick with us, that mark will show a sign of wealth, and you'll have everything you could ever need or want. Do you see the possibilities you have?" he asked.

"Yes...I do see. Father, if we win, what will happen to Draco? What will happen to a possible child of mine?" I asked with a steely gaze.

"Draco will be right on top of the world with you! A possible child would be raised by the most powerful wizarding family out there. We would rid the world of muggles and use half-bloods and blood traitors as our slaves," he smiled and my eyes glowed red.

"That would be amazing...but there is a fault in your plan. We would have to inbreed. That is disgusting and my child would not be doing that. As much as I hate muggles, we need them. I say, as a punishment for purebloods or misbehaving half-bloods and mudbloods, they should breed with muggles. That way, the world still has wizards. As for pureblood status, that might have to be changed. You're a pureblood if you follow the Dark Lord loyally," I suggested.

"That could work... we shall see," father nodded, though he was frowning.

"So you see the future you will have?" he asked.

"I do...and I have a plan to ensure it," I said, grinning wickedly.
