Chapter 3

"Oh look who it is, Alex," I said, narrowing my eyes, and he glared harshly.

"You know her?" asked father and I grit my teeth.

"Yes, she's a traitor and a liar!" I snapped and father laughed.

"Then she'll fit in!" he said.

"No, I mean she works for Dumbledore, hence the last name!" I snarled.

"You should be dead," I hissed, looking over at her.

 "I should?" she asked.

"Stop acting like you don't know what you've done!" I said lowly, gripping my wand.

 "Leah," father warned.

"Do I know you?" she asked. I stood up angrily and Alex was immediately at my side, his hand on my arm, ready to pull me back.

"Let me remind you!" I snarled, raising my wand.

"Leah, stop!" Alex ordered, grabbing my hand and forcing my wand out of it.

"As if I need that to hurt her," I went to move forward.

"Absolutely not," he said, pushing me backwards into my seat.

"Don't you fucking dare do that again!" I stood.

"Leah enough!" mother snapped, now standing.

Father watched me as I weighed my options. I looked between Alex and mother and then slowly sat back down. Mom sat down as well.

"Alright, I know who you are and I know who I am. I also know what happened...and I forgive you," Ariana smiled sweetly. I laughed coldly and Alex tensed beside me.

"Oh Alex, surely you didn't fall for the Riddle girl? You're awfully protective," she laughed and I glared at the sound.

"First of all you twat, you are the one who isn't forgiven. You deserved to die! Second of all, leave Alex out of this before I kill you with my bare hands," I said and she smiled.

"Leah, dear, anger management," she scolded, "but it seems one little piece of information was left out."

I narrowed my eyes at her and patiently waited for the bullshit lie she was about to preach.

"Draco dearest was the one who healed me...and brought me here," she said and I felt cold. Why would Draco do that?

"That's a lie," Alex said, not seeming to be speechless what so ever. I stared at her and Alex walked into my peripheral vision.

"Draco may be a git, but he wouldn't ever help the likes of you. We all saw the look of pure hatred he was giving you that night and he knew it would make Leah mad if she found out. He'd never intentionally make her angry," he said. I finally pulled myself together and nodded.

"Exactly, so obviously you're still the biggest liar I've ever met; excluding me," I smirked.  She sighed exasperatedly and crossed her arms.

"Ask him yourself, and I promise this is one of those times that I'm not lying. But, just think about this! With me on your side I can help more than ever! They think I'm on their side as a spy for them, but really I'm a spy for you," she smiled excitedly.

"Why would I ever trust you? You're Dumbledore's. You have no reason to side with us especially after we tried to kill you. Aside from that, that's my job and you cannot replace me. I even have Potter wrapped around my finger. I may or may not be able to get through to Weasley," I frowned.

"I have Weasley wrapped around my finger; we can team up," she offered.

"Absolutely not! I don't trust you one bit, and if it came down to it, you'd leave me to die," I snapped.

"You already left me to die, but I'm willing to trust you," she said sincerely and all eyes were on me.

"Look," she said softly, taking my silence for guilt, "I'm sorry for taking Draco away so many times. I'm sorry for betraying you, and I'm sorry for not being loyal from the start. I promise you, I have no interest in Draco, if that's what you're threatened about," she said, putting a hand on my arm. I brushed her off and glared coolly.

"If you think," I started slowly, "that this about me being jealous, then you are out of your mind."

"I'm not buying into this for one second," I said firmly.

"Listen Leah, if you don't agree, I might just have to take away everything you've ever cared about. Draco, Blaise, Pansy, Alisana, Alex...even your precious mum and half brother. I'm not afraid to do that, and it would only prove my loyalty and ability to kill," she said and I threw her against the wall.

"Do not threaten to kill the people I care about. Do you hear me? Lay a finger on any one of them and I will hunt you down and kill you slowly. That's a promise!" I snarled darkly and she looked fearful.

"If you're so worried about it, then let me join you," she said, with a nervous edge to her voice. I thought for a moment and figured she couldn't do any harm.

"You're pathetic," I said, throwing her to the ground and walking back to my seat.

"If you let her join, I'm leaving and I will not come back," I said seriously.

 "Leah, no," mum whispered.

Ariana slowly got up and bit her lip.

"People are replaceable," my father said and I felt sadness and anger creep into me.

"But, Leah is an exception.  Ariana I'm not very sorry to say that you are to leave at once," he ordered and I felt relieved.

"Yes My Lord," she muttered, and Wormtail brought her out of the room.

"Now, on behalf of Harry Potter," father started, getting right back on task.

"I've sent Dementors to attack him, two of which that are probably sucking out his soul right this instant."
