There will be continuity errors and plot holes because I was rewriting the series before I abandoned my account.

We landed on the front steps of my mum's house and I smiled as Severus entered without knocking.

"Severus?" mum asked as he walked into the living room, and I trailed behind.

"Professor?" I heard Blaise ask and Pansy sighed in frustration.

"Who else is going to pop up in my house?" she asked, and I walked into the living room.

"Um, how about me?" I asked and they all gaped at me.

"Leah!" Pansy screamed, running over and hugging me. She cried loudly and I hugged her back, laughing. She stepped back and next thing I knew, I was being kissed. Of course it was Draco so I kissed him back happily.

"Oh my God, you're here," he said, pulling away and hugging me tightly.

"I feel like I'm gonna wake up from a really cruel dream," he said and I laughed.

 "No...no I'm here," I whispered.

"Can you let us hug her too," Ariana glared, pushing him aside and hugging me. She started crying, which got Pansy crying, and then I was crying. She moved aside and Blaise hugged me as well, and then there was Thane. He just looked at me blankly and I stepped closer.

 "I..." I trailed off.

"Yeah, you should have listened," he said.

"You know I paid for my mistake," I glared and he nodded once.

 "I know," he said.

"No, no you really don't," I said, and then Pansy took my wrist.

"Oh my friggin God!" she cried and Ariana gasped.

"How...Meredith slipped you a razor, didn't she?" Pans asked, and I nodded stiffly.

"You didn't have to use it!" she cried hysterically.

"I did," I said, pulling out of her grip.

"Is this what you meant by payment?" Thane glared and I turned to him angrily.

"Thane!" Blaise snapped, but he ignored him.

"I'm so depressed I'm suicidal, you git!" I screamed and the room fell silent.

"This is why," I said darkly, clicking my fingers.

"Nothing happened," Thane raised his eyebrows with an attitude.

 "Exactly," I said bitterly.

"Leah..." Draco frowned. I just watched Thane, waiting for it to click into place. It was a moment before I saw understanding in his eyes and his eyebrows rose in shock.

"The Power of the Phoenix is gone," he said and I nodded, tears forming. He finally walked over and hugged me.

"I'm sorry; I'm glad you're alright," he said, and I hugged him back.

"Don't be such an ass next time," I said.

"So little Phoenix, without the power you become depressed?" Thane asked as mum came over to hug me.

"Yes, but I also become depressed if I can't control it. I have to learn how to keep it in perfect balance," I said, hugging her back.

"Oh God...how do you get it back?" Blaise asked.

"I guess I have to be greatly angered," I sighed.

"That sucks royal hippogriff," Pansy frowned.

"You're telling me," I said grumpily.

"By the way, Thane, your dad is a complete ass," I said and he winced.

"I'm really sorry," he whispered. I shrugged and then turned to mum.

"Where's Mikey? I have to thank him for the guitar," I smiled.

"He's with Sapphire," she said apologetically and I sighed.

"Fine...Draco, take me to Malfoy Manor?" I asked and he nodded.

"Come on," he held out his hand and I took it as we apparated over. We landed in Draco's room and I laughed.

"Why are we up here?" I raised one eyebrow, but he just moved in and kissed me.

 "Draco," I smirked, pulling back.

"You have no clue how much I missed you," he put his forehead to mine.

"I can only imagine," I smirked.

"Was it terrible," he asked, looking at me sadly.

 "Yes," I said truthfully.

"It was...painful and dark...I'd go into episodes of depression and I just...I couldn't do anything about it," I said, sitting on his bed.

"The only thing you could do was cut yourself," he said and I nodded.

"Lucius was in the cell across from me...I hate him Draco," I said and he pulled me up and into a hug.

"I understand," he nodded.

"I know I disappeared that night without warning...but I thought I'd come back. I would've if Lucius hadn't betrayed me...or if the aurors hadn't betrayed me," I said bitterly.

"You're here now, and that's what matters," he said and I nodded as we made our way downstairs.

"So...suicidal?" Draco asked quietly and I nodded.

"Yeah...I planned my death several times," I swallowed hard.

 "Leah," Draco whispered sadly.

"I can't help it...without the Phoenix," I said, feeling tears burn my eyes. We reached the bottom step and Draco walked out in front of me.

"Ah, Draco, we must speak about your mission," I heard father say and I quickly walked up to Draco.

"Mission?" I asked, raising my eyebrows and he winced.

 "Leah!" father said in surprise.

"What mission?" I asked dangerously, and Draco hesitated before pulling up his sleeve.

"When the hell did this happen?" I yelled.

"The day after school ended," Draco said miserably.

"When did you get here?" father asked, but I ignored him.

"You didn't think of waiting for me?" I screamed, pushing him angrily.

"We didn't know if you were going to get out," he said with wide eyes.

"You didn't even wait very long!" I yelled, advancing on him.

"Hey...maybe the Phoenix will come back," he smiled feebly and I slugged his arm.

"No it will not! It'll take more than an idiot to trigger the power again!" I raged.

 "Come on," Draco groaned.

"I missed it! This is what I've been waiting for since last year!" I ranted.

 "Blame my father," Draco snapped.

"I blame you!" I snapped back.

 "Dear Merlin," father muttered.

"Leah it wasn't his fault, I made him do it," father said and I glared.

 "I don't care," I said.

"Relax, you just got back," father said and I took a deep breath.

"Hello father," I said, and he hugged me.

"I'm so glad you're back," he said.

"Tell me about it," I said.

"I read that you're depressed," he frowned as I pulled away.

"Very much so," I said grimly.

"She's suicidal," Draco said quietly and I suddenly felt terrible for yelling at him. I sighed and took his hand, which he smiled slightly to.

 "Are you now?" father asked.

"Unfortunately," I said and then showed him my wrists.

 "Holy-"

"Leah!" Bella yelled happily, cutting father off. She walked over and hugged me while laughing.

"Look at you, you look terrible!" she smiled and I laughed.

"Please, I look super-mega-foxy-awesome-hot," I snorted and she laughed.

"If you say so," she said.

"Oh God, look at you!" she said in horror, taking my wrists. I filled them in on what I went through in Azkaban and Bella was frowning.

"I'm glad that didn't happen to me," she said.

"So where's your number?"  she asked. Hers was on her forearm.

"I'll show you," I sighed, pulling my tank top off.

"You're such a slut," Bella laughed and father scowled.

"Was that necessary?" he asked, narrowing his eyes at Draco.

"Yeah," I said, turning so they saw my ribs.

"Oh wow. That's actually a nice spot. Kind of sexy, don't you think?" Bella asked and I laughed.

"Yes, it kind of is," I said.

"Now put your tank top on," father glowered.

 "Why?" I smirked.

"I'm calling a meeting to give you your next mission," he said and I smiled.

 "I have a mission already?" I beamed.

"If you think you can handle it," he nodded. I gave an excited squeal and put on my tank top.

"Did Draco tell you he received a mission?" Bella asked proudly.

 "No," I glared.

"Oh, that's right. You wanted to be here," her eyes widened.

"Yeah, but whatever," I rolled my eyes.

"We didn't do the induction ceremony. It'll be over Christmas break," Draco said and I smirked.

"Well you're half forgiven," I said and my mark burned as several Death Eaters appeared.

 "She's back!"

"Oh, rejoice the day!"

 "I knew she'd make it!"

People were shouting things happily and father quieted them down. We filed into the Dining Room and Narcissa looked at me in shock. The Malfoy's were seated quite far down the table, and I was seated in my usual spot. Severus was across from me and we nodded at each other.

"As we all know, Draco is our newest Death Eater, and I am pleased to say Leah has returned," there were cheers all around the table.

"Now, I have called this meeting to give some of you a mission, you see. Not all of you will be involved and those who this does not concern are to leave," he said.

"So, Leah, Draco, Bellatrix, the Carrow's, Rowel, Fenrir, Severus, and Gibbon are to stay," father instructed. Everyone else apparated away, and Narcissa stood up, looking upset and pale.

"Now, Draco is already well aware of this mission. Leah and Draco are to find a way to get my Death Eaters into the castle unnoticed where Draco will carry out the task of killing Albus Dumbledore," father said and I gasped.

"Father, no!" I said and everyone looked at me in shock.

"What?" he asked, looking shocked as well.

"He got me out of Azkaban...I could never..."I struggled.

"He is the only wizard in my way. You do want us to win this war, do you not?" father asked.

 "Yes," I whispered.

"Then it is done," he nodded.

"Once they manage to find a way, Leah will send us a letter and we will enter. I believe Draco had a suggestion already?" father inquired.

"Yes, My Lord. I was thinking a vanishing cabinet could do the trick," he said.

"Do we have one?" I spoke up.

"There's a broken one in the Room of Requirement and one in Borgin and Burkes. We can use them, but the one at school needs to be repaired. Montague was in it last year- remember that- and he said he was stuck in a limbo. If we can fix that, then we're in," he said and I nodded.

"Very good," I smiled and he looked at me with pride.

"It is quite a good plan," father muttered.

"Now, are you sure you can kill?" I asked Draco in concern.

"Of course I can!" he snapped and I smirked.

"Alright, alright, don't get feisty. You've never killed before though...interesting how your first kill will be one of the greatest wizards alive. I'm impressed," I said and he looked satisfied.

"Leave the boy be; he will do it," father said.

"He's honored, I'm sure," Bella smiled.

"He should be," father said, and we all fell silent.

"You are dismissed," father said, and we all stood.

"Severus, Dumbledore trusts you very much so. I wonder what he'll think when he dies and sees you fighting for us," I mused.

"He'll think he was such a fool," Sev smirked and I laughed.

"I wouldn't doubt it! I do feel bad though...I owe him," I said.

"He'll understand your situation," Severus said.

"Yeah," I nodded, and Narcissa walked in.

"Leah, I must speak with you," she said, hugging me quickly.

"Oh...sure," I said. She brought me into Lucius's study and sat down, nervously clasping her hands together.

"Please...convince your father to take Draco off this mission. He isn't ready and you love him so much...please Leah. He'll kill Draco if he doesn't succeed. This is payback for what Lucius did, I know it is," she cried.

"Narcissa, I cannot persuade my father. Besides, I think Draco can do it," I said.

"Oh, my baby," she cried and I put a hand on her shoulder.

"He'll be fine," I said firmly and then walked out.

"Draco!" I called, walking into the dining room. Father had been speaking with him until I walked in.

 "Hi," I said.

"Isn't this awesome?" I smiled brightly, taking his hands.

"I thought you didn't want to kill Dumbledore," Draco said, looking quite pale.

"I'm not going to," I smiled, "you are! Killers are sexy," I teased and he forced a laugh. I frowned at him, but kept talking.

"Besides, I want the aurors to pay," I said darkly.

"Leah, you cannot be rude to Potter and his gang at this point. They need to completely trust you, or you'll never get away with this," father warned.

"Okay, but that doesn't mean I can't loathe Tonks," I narrowed my eyes.

 "Alright," father chuckled.

"Oh this changes everything, Draco!" I smiled and he looked at me for a while.

"Are you happy?" he asked and I laughed.

"I'm ecstatic!" I beamed, and he smiled back this time.

"Then let's do this," he said and I hugged him happily.

"As if you had a choice," I teased.

"Now I can be happy about doing it," he laughed quietly.

"Oh I missed you so much!" I said, kissing him quickly.

"I missed you too...but you know in that interview...you didn't seem to miss me," he smirked and I laughed.

"I knew someone would be mad if I pointed out a specific person! Oh my God, speaking of, where's Hydra?" I asked.

"She's off with Nagini," father said.

"You read the interview, right?" I asked him.

 "Indeed," he nodded.

"Alright so you know I said I missed Hydra the most," I smiled.

"You don't seem so depressed," Bella said, walking in.

"It's comes and goes," I shrugged.

 "Well that's good," she nodded.

"When it comes it's bad though," Draco said, as if he knew. He was watching me, but I was watching Bella and she was watching me.

 "Yes," I admitted.

"Well, let's hope it doesn't come very often," she smiled.
