Chapter 13
"Hermione," I knocked on the Gryffindor common room. I waited a few moments before knocking again. This time someone pulled it open and I smiled.
"Hey Lavender, is Hermione there?" I asked and she nodded.
"Yes, come in," she sighed, allowing me to pass.
"Can I talk to you?" I asked Granger and she looked up from her books.
"Oh, sure!" she piped, closing the text book and leading me upstairs.
"What's up, Leah?" she asked. I smirked and leaned back, putting my hands behind me to brace myself.
"I found out some...things... about Draco that I have no right to be angry about. However, I can get some good humored revenge, and I need your help," I said and she nodded slowly.
"Alright, I'll help," she said.
"Well, I wanted to slip him a love potion," I said and we shared looks of amusement.

I walked into the Slytherin common room after my conversation with Hermione about how to slip him one and such. I found both Pansy and Ariana sitting together, so I walked over and sat down across from them. Draco was at a table doing homework and watched carefully as I stared coldly at the two of them.
"Um..." Ariana raised her eyebrows at me and I just crossed my arms.
"What?" Pansy frowned. I just stared between the two of them and they shifted uncomfortably.
"Leah," Draco groaned and I waved him away, not breaking eye contact with the girls.
"What the hell did we do now?" Pansy asked and I smacked the back of her head.
"Why?" she asked in an outrage.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I snapped, standing up as she did and putting my hands on my hips.
"Tell you what?" she asked and I raised one eyebrow.
"Let's go, upstairs. You too, miss," I pointed an accusing finger at Ariana.
"You said you weren't angry," Draco protested.
"Not about what happened, but the fact that my sister," I snapped over at Pansy, "didn't tell me."
"Good God," Draco groaned and I continued upstairs. When I gave them haughty looks they fidgeted uncomfortably and glanced at each other.
"You both had sex with my boyfriend and didn't tell me?" I asked and they both blushed.
"He told you?" Pansy asked in horror.
"Yes, yes he did! You couldn't have said 'Hey Leah, funny story, but...'? No, you just went on with life," I ranted.
"We thought you'd kill us," Ariana admitted.
"I'd be pretty disgusted, but so long as it was before me, I can't exactly be mad!" I gave a humorless laugh.
"Well...it wasn't just us," Ariana said meekly.
"I know, Astoria and Daphne as well," I glared. Astoria I could be mad at, just because I hated her. Her sister, Daphne, is friendly with Damon, so I won't be too mad at her.
"Wait...Astoria would've been...like... twelve or something! That slut," I narrowed my eyes and the two fell out laughing.
"Leah, I can't believe you didn't know Draco used to be the Slytherin Sex God," Pansy laughed.
"He never tried anything with me," I frowned.
"It's because he cares about you," Ariana shrugged, "he never cared about us."
"What if he just thinks I'm not good enough," I mused. Pansy scoffed and shook her head.
"You are beyond stupid," she said.
"Well we're sixteen. If he was with people at thirteen...it shouldn't be a problem for him," I said and they both laughed again.
"Shut up," they rolled their eyes and we walked back downstairs. I plopped down next to Blaise and stared thoughtfully at Draco.
"What?" he asked, not looking up from his text book.
"I didn't say anything," I said.
"You're staring at me," he raised one eyebrow.
"It's because you're too incredibly attractive," I teased and he smiled, writing down something on his parchment.
"You know who I haven't seen in a while?" I asked.
"Who?" Draco smirked.
"Aurea. I wonder how she's doing," I said and Draco shrugged.
"You never know," he smiled. I sighed at the lack of conversation and got ready for my next class.

"Aren't you hungry?" Thane asked and I shook my head.
"Doesn't matter, I have things to do," I said. It was the next day and classes had ended, so I was off to get that necklace. Not to mention the love potion. I slipped on a jacket and walked down to Severus's office with my hands in my pocket.
"I have to go somewhere," I said and he looked up from his desk.
"Where?" he asked.
"It's a secret; Death Eater business," I said and he stared at me before nodding.
"How are you?" he asked as I walked past him. I turned around and shrugged.
"I felt pretty bad this morning, so I took a potion," I said.
"Okay," he said and I took the Floo Network over to Malfoy Manor.
"How nice of you to stop by," father said and I looked up from brushing off my jeans.
"No biggie; I needed to apparate over to Diagon Ally," I said.
"Mm. Well Katie informed me of your latest breakdown. You're insane," he said coldly and I flinched.
"I'm not insane," I muttered.
"Yes, you are. There's something wrong with you mentally," he said thoughtfully and I kept my gaze icy.
"Oh, Leah!" Narcissa said in surprise, walking in.
"Hello," I said, still looking at my father.
"How are you?" she asked, hugging me tightly.
"Apparently, I'm mentally ill," I spat, flipping my hair and throwing my father a look that could kill. Narcissa gave me a confused look, but I just faced off my father.
"I'm not being cruel. I'm simply being realistic. Besides, you have every right to be considering everything that's happened. Especially since Draco screwed your sister," he cocked his head. He didn't realize how much this pissed me off.
"What is wrong with you?" I yelled, taking a threatening step forward.
"I'm considering the facts, Leah," he said calmly.
"You can't just go around saying things like that!" I shrieked.
"Draco did what?" Cissa gasped.
"I didn't say it to be mean; I'm stating facts," he repeated. I threw my hands up and made a noise of exasperation.
"I'm not mental," I glared.
"Alright," father sighed and I crossed my arms.
"I'm off to Diagon Ally," I said, and then disapparated. I found myself in front of the joke shop and I sighed, rolling my shoulders and walking in. It was surprisingly busy for a weekday, not to mention the fact that it was the middle of the school year. There weren't as many people as earlier, but there were a handful of people. I strolled through the aisles of merchandise and looked around for the love potions. A mother took one glance at me and pulled her child in the other direction.
"Excuse me!" another woman called to the cashier while sending glances in my direction. I heard her talking to the blonde cashier and then she went off into the back while the woman waited nervously. I turned back around and fingered my wand in my pocket while browsing the candy section. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I spun around, pulling my wand out.
"Oh, Fred!" I gave a laugh as he put his hands up.
"You know love, you're worrying our customers. They think you're here to start chaos with the Death Eaters," George said seriously and Fred nodded gravely.
"Don't people believe me?" I frowned.
"Not really," Fred sighed.
"Well I'm not here on Death Eater business," I said honestly.
"Then how can we help you?" George asked.
"I'm here on a revenge mission. You see, I found out about Draco's former school status, and I want a bit of revenge," I smirked.
"What were you thinking of?" Fred smiled.
"Well... I was thinking of a love potion. I want him to fall in love with Hermione for a day," I smiled.
"She agreed to this?" George confirmed.
"Yes, she already said yes," I nodded.
"Brilliant, right this way," Fred gestured dramatically and I smiled, walking over to the potions.
"So just slip it in his drink or something?" I asked.
"Best to be put in or over food; the scent is easier hidden," George said.
"Right, well thanks; how much?"
"For you, one galleon," they both smiled and I laughed, forking it over.
"Enjoy!" they called as I slipped it in my pocket and walked out the door. Now onto the actual Death Eater business. I walked down the street a ways with my head down and my shoulders hunched against the cool September air. My footsteps echoed off the brick walls and I made a turn onto Knockturn Ally. I then raised my head and put on a cool glare which rested its gaze on anyone who passed. I passed a few dingy stores that seemed abandoned and sneered my way past a beggar.
"Hello," I said, not quite silkily this time. I had a hard edge to my voice as I walked into Borgin and Burkes.
"Miss Riddle, how may I be of service?" he bowed.
"I need that necklace," I jerked my chin down at the counter.
"I wouldn't recommend wearing that, miss. It's awfully cursed," he warned.
"I know that you idiot," I snapped, "that doesn't mean I don't want it."
"Of course, my apologies!" he bowed lowly.
"It comes at quiet a price," I shot him a look, "which can be brought down for my lady, of course!" he said quickly.
"How much?" I asked, trailing my finger along the glass.
"Twenty galleons, a very nice price for m'lady," he said and I locked my eyes into his.
"A very nice price, indeed!" I gave a harsh bark of laughter.
"I have to keep the business going, Miss, I cannot simply give things away!" he pleaded.
"I assure you twenty galleons isn't necessary to charge," I glared.
"Of course, of course, a discounted price is what you need! Ten galleons," he tried and I pursed my lips, but took out a small bag anyway. I clicked out ten galleons onto the glass and slammed my hand down on them before he snatched them away.
"You will tell no one of this visit," I said firmly, slipping an extra galleon onto the pile.
"Of course not," he bowed and I slowly lifted my hand as he gathered the money. As he carefully took out the necklace and wrapped it with care, I scanned the Vanishing Cabinet.
"Tell me, how would one fix a limbo?" I asked, and he followed my gaze.
"You'd have to work on the magical enchantments inside the broken cabinet. Easier said than done," he explained and I nodded.
"Very well. Thank you for your time," I said stiffly, taking the package and walking back outside. From there, I proceed to apparate into Hogsmead.
I kept my head down and slipped into the Three Broomsticks with the package tucked into my jacket. It was quite crowded, and I slipped in between the drunken customers, sitting down at the bar. I raised two fingers and a bar tender made his way over.
"What can I get you?" he asked and I met his eyes to see that it was Mikey.
"Oh hey," he said in surprise.
"I'm here for a specific purpose. I need to talk to you," I said in the same tone I used with Borgin.
"Um, right, follow me," he said, lifting the counter and letting me slip in. He brought me to the back room and locked the door behind us.
"What's up?" he asked in confusion.
"I need you to tell me everything and anything that goes on here, understand?" I asked and he nodded in confusion.
"What's this about? Are you okay?" he asked.
"I'm fine, just do as I ask. If anything happens with Dumbledore, you tell me. Are we clear?" I asked and he nodded, knowing I meant business.
"Now get me Rosmerta," I said and he hesitated before slipping away. I saw a pack of unopened cigarettes on the table and picked them up, slipping them in my pocket. It wasn't long before Rosmerta walked in with a frown.
"Yes?" she asked. I brought out my wand and pointed it at her quickly.
"Imperio," I said her eyes glazed over.
"Listen to me. I need you to be my eyes and ears. You will report anything that goes on, including Dumbledore's every move. You will tell no one of what you are doing, and you will follow my every word. Now pay attention. This package is to go to the first Hogwarts student you can get alone. You will curse the students and make sure they know to give it specifically to Dumbledore," I handed over the package and she took it.
"Do not touch it and do not open it," I said firmly. I then threw a journal at her, which she caught.
"You will receive instructions from me through this. Do not let anyone see it, understand?" I asked.
"Yes," she nodded.
"Good, I'll be in touch," I said, and with that I apparated back to the manor.
"Back so soon?" father asked.
"Just doing my job as quick as possible," I said, and then took Floo Powder back to Hogwarts.
