Chapter 10

There will be continuity errors and plot holes because I was rewriting the series when I had to abandon my account.

"Could you possibly have any more potions?" Thane asked as I walked into the common room.

"I could, but I decided against it," I smirked.

"Will you sign my poster, Miss Riddle?" asked a little first or second year.

"Um..." I trailed off, looking down at my interview that people made into a poster. Oh joy.

"Please, you're my idol," she said with wide, pleading eyes. I smiled slightly and grabbed a quill, signing my name in looping, elegant print.

"Thanks!" she smiled brightly and then ran off.

"You're such a celebrity," Ariana smirked.

"Oh, isn't she?" Draco said. I made the potions disappear into my dorm and then sat down with the others.

 "How's Mikey?" I asked.

"He's really mad he missed seeing you. He doesn't want to wait for Christmas, but he said he has to," Pansy explained.

"Unless I see him during a Hogsmead trip," I pointed out.

"That's true," she nodded. I sighed heavily and leaned back, stretching my legs.

"You know, I think you're up to something," Astoria came over, narrowing her eyes at me.

 "I really don't care," I shrugged.

"Don't worry, I'll find out what this is all about. Then, once I do, I'm sending you right back to Azkaban," she threatened.

"You really do not scare me," I raised one eyebrow.

"You should absolutely fear me! I have connections," she snapped.

"You mean mummy dearest? Sorry, but she's dead. Oh, and if I tell the aurors all about mummy's involvement with the Death Eaters, guess who else will be sent to Azkaban," I looked at her with a smirk.

"My mother is dead because your father killed her!" she screamed at me.

"Oh cry me a river," I snapped.

"What's gotten into you?" Blaise asked.

"Nothing!" I yelled and the common room fell silent. Was I being too harsh? No, so why the hell is Blaise asking what's gotten into me?  Maybe I am going overboard and just don't know it.

"Maybe you should take another potion," Draco said carefully. Everyone was still watching, waiting for me to flip out I suppose.

 "I don't need one," I hissed.

 "Leah..." Thane said.

"I'm not depressed, okay?" I snapped. I looked around at everyone and glared with a vengeance.

"Do not make me burn you all to death!" I threatened, and they all quickly snapped back to their own business, almost flipping chairs or dropping books to get back to their conversations.

 "Are you alright?" Blaise asked.

"No, I'm not! I'm freaking out, okay?" I said.

 "I get it," Pansy nodded.

"What?" Draco, Blaise, and Thane asked together.

"She's stressing out about everything. Astoria is being a little bitch, Leah is currently struggling with depression, and she just recently got out of Azkaban. She's all out of whack," Pansy explained calmly.

"It really isn't my fault," Astoria said.

"Actually, it is," I glared.

 "She's feisty, sorry," Thane apologized.

"It's only gonna get worse," Draco muttered. I leaned back into him in a huff and he wrapped his arms around my waist. Do they suddenly like this girl now? Why are they being so nice to her...she just threatened to send me back to Azkaban!

"Whatever, I cannot take any more of this foolishness. I'm going to bed," I said and they all chorused goodnight.

"Goodnight Leah dearest," Astoria smirked as I passed her.

I flipped her off.
