Chapter Fifty
"Leah you are such a liar!" Ginny laughed.
"What?" I asked innocently.
"You know you've snogged Ron before!" she said, laughing even harder.
"I have not!" I said stubbornly.
"You're blushing right now!"
"Yeah because those two," I pointed to the twins, "won't stop giving me suggestive looks!"
Ginny fell out laughing as the twins winked in sync.
"Just wait until you get a boyfriend!" I threatened and she stopped laughing.
"Oh God," she frowned and it was my turn to laugh.
"That boy will have quite a bit of family to get approval from," Black smiled.
"Oh, are you going to stop her?" I scoffed.
"You think you could stop me?"
"Bring it, old man," I teased.
"It's on, young one," he teased back.
"Careful, I could kick your ass with my eyes closed," I said and he laughed.
"We have a duel!" The twins said together.
"No dueling in my house!" Mrs. Weasley scolded.
"Why not, Molly? It's not like we're going to really hurt each other," Black smiled.
"No," she said firmly.
"Lame," I pouted and Potter laughed.
"Leah loves dueling," Potter smiled.
"What isn't there to love?"
"Defense Against the Dark Arts is your best subject then?" Lupin asked.
"Yes. Well...Potions is tied with it," I said.
"Very nice," he nodded.
"I must say, I didn't expect you to be a metamorphagus, Clementine and Lamour weren't," Black said.
"A lot of times it's genetic," Tonks said.
"Oh, well I think my grandmother might have, I'm not sure," I shrugged.
"Maybe," Tonks agreed.
"Is everybody finished?" Mrs. Weasley asked, seeing our empty plates. We all made noises of agreement and started standing up. With a wave of her wand, Mrs. Weasley had all the dishes cleared.
"Karaoke time!" Ginny grinned wickedly.
"I nominate Harry," I looked at him with a smirk.
"Absolutely not."
"You don't have a choice, come on now."
He sighed and started shuffling through the songs to find one he liked.
***
"Encore!" I shouted, clapping and cheering with everyone else.
"That's it for me," his face was bright red.
"You're a great singer, Harry," Ginny smiled.
"I agree," I nodded.
"Alright Ron, your turn!" I said happily and he slowly took the microphone.
"Um, I can't sing," he said and I rolled my eyes.
"Shut up, it's karaoke, you aren't supposed to!" I said. I was determined to get these boring Gryffindors out of their comfort zones.
***
"Yeah, Ron!" I clapped as his song wrapped up.
"That was a rather inappropriate song," Granger frowned and I rolled my eyes.
"Come on Hermione, don't be boring."
"Okay, Leah, it's your turn," Potter said and I sighed.
"Okay, okay," I said.
Needless to say, I brought the house down.
"We have our winner, ladies and gentlemen," Ginny announced.
"It's not a competition, but I agree," I shrugged and then laughed.
"Kids it's awfully late," Mrs. Weasley entered the room already in pajamas.
"Let me guess, we've got to go to sleep," Weasley frowned.
"Yes, yes, off to bed," she waved us away.
"I'm tired anyway," I shrugged.
"Fine, let's call it a night," Potter said and I followed Ginny and Granger up to our shared room.
