As soon as he held the flask, an earthquake struck...

School's security alarm turned on with a 'Beep' sound. As told, students hide inside the benches to protect themselves.

Arjun also grabbed hold of counter as the flasks begin to fall from their place. A hand pulled him under the counter to protect him from getting burnt by any type of harmful chemical.

"Are you nuts?" Arjun asked facing the person.

Nakul replied. "I should ask you that. Who, on Earth, stares around with amazement when an earthquake strucks?"

"Didn't you said a while ago, 'Weirdos attract Weirdos'," Arjun imitated Nakul.

"Whatever."

"We will be good friends, for sure," Arjun chuckled, wrapping his arm around Nakul.

"Ofcourse, everyone likes a witty guy like me,"

"Literally..." Arjun glared back. "By the way, how come you are here and Ice cube? Where's he?"

Another wave struck, this time with a greater magnitude, that the counter almost turned up.
The two wrapped each other in arms, as if brothers, to protect each other.

Soon enough, the quake quitened little by little. Nakul rushed outside to check on for his brothers. A drop of hydrochloride acid slightly touched his hand, on which, he reacted up with a whispering yell. Arjun also rushed out to check his hand.

"You are so clumsy-" Arjun almost yelled before he observed something different about it.

A yellowish glow on his shoulder. A mark like that of the shape of a Sword, which looked more like a tattoo. He observed it carefully only to be left more perplexed.

"How do you have this mark?"

"It's my birthmark. Actually it's a long story, I don't have enough time to narrate it. Now let me go and check on my brothers..." Nakul answered back and rushed forth.

"Leave it,"

Somewhere else,
A prison cell filled with painful groans of humans, lying on the floor and covered in dust. They were caged for months, starving. Day by day, they lost hope to survive and eventually gave up on their lives. Only two of them were alive till now, of them, one almost at the edge of death.

The other one, of the age of an adult, covered in blood, forcefully crawled to him and shook him with all his power, "Don't sleep!"

"Let me rest now, elder brother" he replied, with a fainting whisper.

He held the collars of his shirt tightly and shook him over again and again, but to no avail. He had drifted into sleep, for a long time.
As tears formed in his eyes, he clenched his fist, digging his own nails into his palm.

"I... would not leave any of them alive! Those who made me suffer, they all have to pay with their lives," He murmured, exerting pressure on each word he said.

Burning with agony, he now decided to do what he couldn't even think of earlier. He dug the corner of the cell, and took out a green bladed dagger. It wasn't a normal one, it was made out of the Emeraldblood metal. It's said that an unknown amount of metals exists on Earth, while only a few of them are found. Emeraldblood was one of the metal, the world is oblivious of. It's made from the dripping blood of a Dragon. Its power is much higher than any of the known metal.

The man broke off the iron rods that bind him with it and barged out of the cell. The red ceiling alarm rang, indicating the prison break and guards plodded inside with arms and guns. But all of them were killed one by one by him.

"Brothers, you had stopped me from using it earlier but now all of you have died, but not the fire of revenge burning inside me..." He walked further like a dead with his head hung and hands down, carrying the dagger. The dripping blood of his dagger marked his trial.

As he came out of the prison's building, he threw the dagger at it and continued walking without looking back again. The building suffered a huge blast which was a cover to the deaths of those cops as he didn't wanted anyone else to know about his existence anymore.

Back to the school of Starwood highs, Draupadi was standing infront of the entrance of backyard café, taking support of the pillar, busy studying the notes she clicked pictures of during the lectures. Suddenly when she noticed someone with a black hoodie, and it's cap covering his head, running towards the store room of the school. She didn't paid much attention to it unless she saw Arjun running after him.

She turned off her phone and slide it into her pocket and chased after him. Arjun continued to follow him even though the masked person went out of the school provisions, until they reached an alley where the masked man suddenly disappeared.

Arjun looked around however he was nowhere to be found.

Observing that he was perplexed, Draupadi reached out to him and enquired. "Who was that person in the hoodie? And why were you following him?"

"It's a woman, I guess. Wait- what are you doing here?" He crossed his eyebrows.

But Draupadi didn't bother to answer that because her eyes fell on a dagger, that was stabbed into the ground.
Her observation didn't go unnoticed by Arjun too, he bent down on his knees and took it out.

"Careful! It appears to be weird..." She said with a slight concern.

He just nodded and took out the dagger, it still had some drops of blood on it, but surprisingly enough, the drops of blood were greenish red. Before they could enquire it, the bell of school rang. They could hear it from that alley too. This bell was to indicate the sunset.
In Starwoods high, the main gates were closed after sunset, so they had to rush back to the school, though Arjun brought the dagger with them too.

As they were about to go back to their rooms, Draupadi insisted on investigating that dagger again so Arjun reassured her by saying that he will give it to her after he's done examining it.

As Arjun reached his room, he quickly sat on the study table and started to examine it, when Krishna came in, telling him that Professor was calling him.
Weapons aren't allowed in school provisions, he couldn't roam around with it, so he trusted it to his bestfriend, Krishna.

But the luck wasn't on his side, and he realised it when Krishna rushed to him with the news that the dagger was lost though the reality was that Krishna himself placed it in someone else's bag...

Btw, they are going to get superpowers very soon! In around the next 1-2 chapters
